El Greco in Bad Nenndorf - Telefonnummer, Reservierungen, Bewertungen

We've eaten there off and on over the last two years. Was always great. We haven't seen the familiar employees there for a few months. The food was subpar. Too salty, the bread was dry, the garlic bread was nothing, tasted like it was smeared with rancid herb butter, the sauce for the chicken was as runny as a thin soup and instead of the beer we ordered, they simply served a shandy. Inattentive service. Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer recommended.

Unfortunately, all of the meat was very dry, even though we ordered shortly after it opened. Supplements were very clear. It's a shame, it used to be better! Service was very nice & the terrace is still well laid out, good distances from the neighboring tables.

Simply dubious, disreputable and therefore worthless. If shortly after a negative review (here on Google), several 5 star reviews (without detailed justification) are posted immediately, and which are therefore not usable for users, then all alarm systems would have to go off immediately. We don't want to assume controlled advertising on our own behalf, do we? These reviews are – without any other added value and should be deleted immediately.

I used to think it was very nice there! There was nothing wrong with the food. This has now changed! The waiter was very unfriendly, didn't feel like it and gave himself his own tip. I won't come back again.

Delicious Greek restaurant. In summer the beer garden invites you to linger. The mixed starter platter for two people is also enough for four.

Friendly service and reasonable prices

I'm very disappointed 😞 we were very happy to be able to eat there again. The food was totally over salted (inedible) and then they had the nerve to charge for it. No service! We had to run behind to pay. Then they wanted to give us an ouzo as compensation. This used to be included automatically when you paid. The previous staff was much friendlier and accommodating.

The food is actually quite okay. Service staff is unfriendly, long waiting times until you get the food. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a menu online, which is why when we ordered by phone we only gave the name of the dish and not the number. The gentleman on the phone then insisted on the numbers, so I explained to him that we couldn't find them out. The gentleman became less friendly with every sentence.

Quite a mediocre eatery. I ordered the signature El Greco salad. They gave me cabbage salad and grated carrots. 15 euros - in my opinion, for such a salad in such a class establishment is overpriced. An interesting trick from the owner of the establishment - an elderly Greek poses as a friendly restaurateur - they treat you to a glass of some kind of alcoholic drink (like Jägermeister). What a surprise I am when this glass is included in the bill. And the question is not even that for 3 drops of an incomprehensible drink they charge you 4.5 euros - you just perceive this Greek as a manager for the sale of alcoholic beverages. By the way, they do not accept payment cards, only cash.

We spent a lovely evening here and had a delicious meal. The beer garden could be made a little more comfortable/attractive. Unfortunately, many tables were occupied by smokers that evening. We really liked the interior design. Service was nice so far, but no request for further drinks.

Everything was very good and recommended. Top food!!!

12 old, white men at the Greek restaurant. The objective was clear, but unfortunately only to the guests. The first drink wasn't on the table until more than half an hour later, and the staff didn't bother you unnecessarily in the meantime. At least enough time to study the map at your leisure. Anyone who was afraid that the evening could escalate was quickly reassured. At the end, when all the other guests had left the restaurant (just before 9 p.m.), there were still 12 old white men sitting at the table and being ignored for 45 minutes. This time at least in front of empty glasses. At some point we also understood that they wanted to get rid of us. In other restaurants the guests stay away despite efforts, here they try to get rid of the guests. Works permanently for us now.

Good service, food good. Unfortunately only cash payment.

Very nice dealing with the customer. Food was very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. I felt very well. Price performance also fits. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately the quality is not consistent. Sometimes good and sometimes not so good, sometimes very friendly service and then again grumpy, inattentive and in a bad mood. And the price-performance ratio after the current price increase is not okay, as the quality has not gotten better but has actually gotten worse.

Wir waren am 20.04.2024 mit 5 Personen im El Greco essen und vom Geschmack und Qualität kann das Restaurant auch überzeugen. Was aber gar nicht geht ist über 2 Stunden auf sein essen zu warten. Wenn ich eine Tischreservierungen annehme muss ich auch dafür sorgen das ,daß Essen in einer angemessenen Zeit serviert werden kann. Wenn dann noch die Bedienung die Vorspeisen einfach auf den Tisch stellt ohne zu fragen wer was bekommt und der Gast sich sein Essen zusammensuchen muß kann von Service nicht mehr die Rede sein. Sagt man was, das der Nachbar Tisch nach uns gekommen ist und schon gegessen hat wird pampig geantwortet. Für uns scheidet in Zukunft El Greco aus!

Food is good, service is bad and waiting 2 hours for food is not possible!

Two years ago and again today. We came back because we really liked it two years ago. Today we were again very satisfied with everything - food, service, ambience. My husband had the Zeu plate and I had the fish platter. Both dishes were very tasty, sumptuous and beautifully presented... because as we all know, the eye also eats. This visit was certainly not the last.

Waited 1 hour for the starter (salad plate) and waited another 30 minutes for the main course and in the meantime no attention from the service... 2 of the 4 main courses were swimming in oil

It was a really nice evening... the food was very tasty. Came in a reasonable time. Staff cheerful and very polite. Only the Greek background music hangs like it was missing this time. Can recommend further. Would love to come back. Kind regards 🌹

The garbage is stored in the rear area of ​​the garden facing Doudevillestrasse and has not been picked up for months. Rats are already at home here as well as a stench that is unbearable. Now the large garbage cans are gone and the garbage is stored on the ground - the rats have an easier time eating it

A nice selection of delicious dishes, every table had a cozy atmosphere and the waiter was very attentive.

You shouldn't let the outside scare you off. It looks super cozy inside. The food tastes really delicious. The waiter is funny. The so-called “catastrophe plate” can also be recommended.

Years ago I would have written a much more positive review. Unfortunately everything has lost a bit of its shine. Unless you are a regular guest, then Greece is lived “Come as a stranger and leave as a friend”. New guests are difficult to assess. We sat in the corner with a toddler (5 people)! We brought the high chair ourselves. Somehow the place was inconvenient because we heard the service but there was no one with us. We are disappointed with the portions 😞 because the price has risen so much. We'll see if we can try again in the summer.

alles frisch, lecker und appetitlich zubereitet, großzügige Portionen und dabei faire Preise. Im Sommer punktet man mit einem sehr schönen Biergarten. Wir kehren dort gerne und regelmäßig ein.

Giros war sehr lecker, schön kross und nicht so fett. Die Pommes sind etwas zu früh aus der Friteuse gekommen, der Salat war auch lecker aber überschaubar. Service war freundlich und fix. Schade nur, dass es keinen Ouzo kostenlos gab. Preis-Leistung war okay.

Wir haben gestern draußen im schlichten Biergarten gesessen. Die Fischplatte war reichlich mit verschiedene Fischsorten. Die Katastrofenplatte war von der Menge AUSREICHEND.

Zum ersten Mal besucht, draußen gesessen und gegessen. War insgesamt so gut, dass wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen werden. Biergarten ist empfehlenswert.

Was für ein toller und authentischer Grieche! Wir sind absolut freundlich begrüßt worden, die Zubereitung ging sehr zügig und die Portionen riesig und echt richtig, richtig lecker. Die Bedienung war absolut freundlich, ständig aufmerksam und hat von Anfang an dafür gesorgt, dass man sich einfach wohl fühlen konnte. Die Inneneinrichtung ist sehr schön, hochwertig und thematisch passend. Hier eine indirekte Beleuchtung, dort eine Vase und noch ein Rundbogen oder Marmorimitat. Klasse! Absolut gemütlich. Alles in allem: Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert, Wiederholungsgefahr 100% (wenn die Kartenzahlung wieder läuft)

Hier muss man einfach mal vorbeischauen. Immer freundliches Personal. Gute Qualität der Speisen. Mit gemütlicher Sonnenterasse in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet.

Also ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, ich habe schon wesentlich besser gegessen.hatte mir lammkotellets bestellt, weil ich die so gerne mag. Ein Fehler, wie sich rausstellte.zu viel Fett und dann auch noch zäh wie Leder. Dazu gab es einen Salat, dei okay war, aber den hätte ich auch machen können.die Pommes haben gut geschmeckt, der Reis zu trocken.also für über 15Euro kann ich schon was besseres erwarten. Die Bedienung hätte auch freundlicher sein können.eigentlich sollte Arbeit Spass machen, aber man hatte den Eindruck, es wäre eher lästig. Stammgäste dagegen wurden schon netter bedient.also, ich kann keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

…. das im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. mit einem sehr freundlichen aufmerksamen Service-Team (danke Jannis und danke Saki), in einer typischen Griechischen Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Und damit ist schon alles gesagt, um eine 100%-ige Empfehlung, für das „El Greco“ hier in Bad Nenndorf auszusprechen. Ach ja, ganz besonders lecker geschmeckt hatte mir, bei meinem Besuch im März 2018, die Lammhaxe (für 13,90.- €) mit den beliebten griechischen Nudeln „Kritharaki“, welche mit Käse überbacken waren. Aber auch die saftigen Choriatiko (Bauernsieße) für 12,50-€ sind sehr schmackhaft. Meine Empfehlung, einfach mal selber ausprobieren. Yiamas! War mal wieder ganz 😋 lecker und alle Zutaten waren perfekt miteinander abgestimmt. Aber das Beste, hier bekommt man noch etwas was fürs Geld und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung, inclusive. Möchte nicht alle Texte, der über 90% positiven Rezensionen wiederholen, sondern nur noch einmal feststellen, dass wir froh sind, das es den "El Greco" hier in Bad Nenndorf gibt und wir werden Wiederkommen.
