This is the second time we have ordered there. The food is very tasty, the service is great. We are thrilled.

A delicious culinary enrichment for Bad Nenndorf and its surroundings that is second to none. It's worth it, even a small detour.

The steak and the side dishes were sensationally good. However, when ordering, everyone has to specify what their steak should be like, unfortunately they don't ask. The restaurant is nicely decorated with plenty of wood.

A wonderful evening spent there, with really good food and wine, great service in a great atmosphere, thank you and again and again 🥰

Dies war unser erster Besuch nach Corona. Die ersten Eindrücke: stylish renoviert, trotz Donnerstagabend sehr voll, so dass wir ohne Reservierung Glück hatten, noch einen Tisch zu erhalten. Zweiter Eindruck nach Lesen der Karte: Preise wie früher im La Forge, Gerichte sind eine Mischung aus dem alten La Forge mit 60 € Menü und der Bierklause mit der guten alten Currywurst. Dann wurde die Service-Kraft bei unserer Bestellung von hinten angesprochen und unterbrochen. Auf die Frage, wer denn so ein Gespräch stört, hieß es nur, dass es sich um die Chefin handeln würde. Das war einfach unhöflich, so dass wir am liebsten gegangen wären. Dann konnten wir endlich bestellen. Der Aperitif kam sofort und die Cocktails waren super. Ein paar Minuten später kam schon das Hauptgericht, die eigentlichen Getränke kamen auf Nachfrage erst, als wir fast schon den Nachtisch bestellen wollten. Fazit: sehr freundliche Service-Kraft, der restliche Service passt aber in keiner Weise zum Anspruch des Hauses. Wie war das Essen? Es sah lecker aus, aber nur das Fleisch vom Wiener Schnitzel passte. Das Fett für die Bratkartoffeln war eher fischig, die Panade vom Schnitzel geschmacklos und weich. Fazit insgesamt: mehr Schein als Sein und Preis-Leistung passen absolut nicht.

Recently I have been a guest here three times as an invitee and as an inviter. On the first visit there was still room for improvement in all aspects. But every table was occupied. On the second visit I had Saltimbocca alla Romana - which is what I expect with veal schnitzel. My mistake, it was listed as pork schnitzel on the menu. On the second and third visit I would have given five stars for the attentive and friendly service. On the third visit, and only on this one, the boss gave us a nightcap - I couldn't figure out the reason. The price-performance ratio is good, but in my local restaurant it is better. Overall, a clear recommendation from me. Maybe the restaurant won't be as busy the next time I visit. I'm curious. Addition January 19, 2025: Oh well! In the Schaumburger Wochenblatt in the section "On Everyone's Mouth" the critic reports in the current issue of a "thinly pounded veal schnitzel" from his Saltimboccas Romana for 27.90 euros. I also paid the price - but for a saltimbocca based on pork fillet.

Great place with a cozy atmosphere! The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. A perfect spot to enjoy authentic Bavarian dishes. Highly recommend!

The music at the salsa party was pretty cool, balanced and easy to dance to. The Salsa dance hall itself represents an almost endearing style of retro plush from the Kurshadow era, but the service was really very nice.

Went there for the first time to celebrate my mother's birthday. We were greeted very warmly. The kids were welcome there. The food was very rich and extremely tasty. My mother then received a serenade and a delicious dessert on the house. Prices are great. We all felt very comfortable there and will definitely be back soon. LG from the Heidekreis

The two of us were there on a Saturday evening without a reservation and were really very satisfied. The gyro was very tasty and juicy. We also enjoyed the tzatziki. The salad was good, but unfortunately a bit drowned in dressing. However, I deducted the point for the fries, which were unfortunately over-fried (they were dark yellow and completely soaked in fat). The service was attentive and quick without being intrusive. The ouza afterwards was passed on to the next table if the answer was no :) The restaurant and the furniture are very old, in my opinion not really comfortable and modern. The women's toilet was very clean. We will come back for this unbeatable price.
