Great cozy atmosphere, delicious Bavarian food

Unfortunately we were very disappointed on our last visit, for example the dumplings were very hard and the service wasn't particularly good either.

The best place in south Germany you can eat at. Every time I’m in Germany I only eat here.

Unfortunately, my birthday party was a failure: we received 2 x lukewarm, dry and presumably warmed pork knuckles, which we returned because both pork knuckles also tasted strange. I didn't feel well afterwards, which the rude waitress only commented on with "You didn't eat any of it." The fact that the coleslaw was forgotten when we had a knuckle and we had to order a beer four times before we got it is no longer significant.

After a long time I was there again. The food was good and very filling, luckily you can have what you didn't eat packed up to take away! The price is not exaggerated either. The waitresses were all very friendly, knowledgeable and available to give good advice. It's nice to sit in the winter garden, not particularly comfortable but definitely OK. When the weather is nice and warm, we recommend dining outside I will come back!

The food was good, service and value for money were also good, the ambience in the restaurant took some getting used to. Here they tried to incorporate some Bavarian flair into a relatively sterile new building, but in our opinion that didn't work out so well. Ultimately, however, the positive aspects outweigh the negatives and we would definitely go here again if we were in Unterhaching again.

The schnitzels and beer were so good on our first visit that we went for a second dinner. That time the burgers, which were also excellent. Great service and joyous food.

The waitress with the bird's nest hairstyle is an impertinence!!!She shouted because we had supposedly placed the wrong order!!She should know her menu and not blame the guests if the dishes are booked incorrectly!! Wir hatten uns ganz kurzfristig entschieden hier essen zu gehen ohne Reservierung. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen einen Tisch. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert und war sehr lecker. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert!

Das Wirtshaus Althaching ist eines der noch richtig guten Gasthäuser im Münchener Umland. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und jeder kann dort fündig werden. Wir waren inzwischen oft da, haben auch für kleinere Familienfeiern Essen zum Abholen bestellt und waren bisher immer sehr zufrieden! Die Preise sind angemessen, die Bedienung meist sehr freundlich und lustig. An Sonn- und Feiertagen sollte man aber einen Tisch reservieren, da das Althaching an solchen Tagen stark frequentiert wird.

The food was okay, but didn't completely convince us. We had three dishes and found them all to be underseasoned. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes were weak and not crispy. The service was very friendly. We had to wait a bit to order (the inn was busy), but the food came to the table quickly. The atmosphere is very cozy. The restaurant is affordable in terms of price. The portions are large.

Nice on the inside, unfortunately not on the outside, the food was great, the three of us were all happy, reservations aren't always possible, no one answers the phone and online doesn't work either.

Very good food, service was good, price-performance ratio was right and the menu offers a lot of choice. We were satisfied and will definitely come back. There's plenty of seating outside too, if so. Weather is fine.

Unfortunately, I rarely come here when I'm passing through. Then I always eat the farmer's schnitzel with mustard and horseradish breading. Sensational and I can only get it here. But everything that is carried past also looks good. The people are nice and the prices are really civilized for the Munich area. The toilets are also very clean. Definitely a recommendation!

Took one look at me and my tattoos and said in German, the kitchen is closed at 8:30pm when the place is open until 11pm. Ok no problem 1 star though

The Spargel was so-la-la but the price was quite expensive. Service was rather unfriendly and unprofessional. Only 3 Schweinshaxe were offered and no more. Kaiserschamrrn was only available if you preordered it.

Were placed in the winter garden. Stuffy air, strange smell. Ventilation is a foreign word. Service not friendly, but not unfriendly either. “Schnitzelsalat” Loveless and not much schnitzel. "Knofibrot" dry. Food was ok. I wouldn't go there anymore.

Sehr gute traditionelle bayrische Küche! Wir waren bis jetzt ca 5 mal vor Ort und ca 10 mal zum mitnehmen bestellt, das Essen ist immer super, alles frisch! Kann es jedem empfehlen!!

That was really great! We'll definitely be back. The burger was so good: bun homemade and patty too. So tasty. Wow. Salads, spaetzle etc. really fresh and homemade. The food came so quickly that we were really amazed. We don't live in Unterhaching, but we will definitely come here again from Munich. Greetings to the kitchen!

Nice people, eat very well and quickly

You can sit very comfortably in the garden, the winter garden is also very nice, the rest of the restaurant is pretty dark. Food is good, it's nice that you can choose between large and small portions for many dishes. Price - performance is right. In 2022 the quality remains consistently good, unfortunately the prices have increased here too, November 2022 the prices continue to rise and the service is becoming increasingly unfriendly. In 2023 the prices have risen again, the quality is still the same. October 2023 and the prices have risen again, you can no longer afford to eat there more often! April 2024 food is really great, but the prices continue to rise, we used to go there every 2 weeks, now only every 2 months

Wir waren zum Ausstand eines Kollegen mit der ganzen Abteilung da. Es wurde die Speisekarte rauf und runter bestellt. Alle Gerichte waren ausnahmslos super. Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Ganz klar ein höchst positives Erelebnis.

Unfortunately the kitchen was already closed at 9 p.m. and we were not offered any alternatives. and sent us away unkindly. Next door there is another Indian, it was said succinctly. The kitchen closed shortly before 9 p.m. and you don't get any food shortly beforehand?? Far too early for one of the few restaurants in Unterhaching. You don't seem to want to make any more money? Well, then we'll just have to look for another good restaurant, which offers good warm food for longer in the evenings, is more flexible in dealing with new and international guests, and is open to diversity and more guests through good food for everyone, would still like to try to attract more guests, and wants to attract guests through quality and hospitality. Update: Another day, tried takeaway in the afternoon. Another time to try in the afternoon: We ordered a turkey breast salad to take away, a slightly higher price, around €15. But it's far too simply prepared! With just cheap iceberg lettuce, or very simple romaine lettuce, cut large, with 2-3 very bitter leaves. Plus just a normal small piece of simply fried turkey breast. And the whole thing almost raw, pure salad, so with so little sauce, that I had the feeling that I was only eating iceberg lettuce washed with water 💦, with a few small tomatoes, with some chicken breast, but without any tasty salad sauce, so little in it that it wasn't noticeable at all, So it was practically tasteless. Just like eating water iceberg salad with parmesan powder. With 2 x bitter chicory leaves. Otherwise just not much to eat, and to taste. That's it. That was the expensive salad with almost no sauce, and some turkey breast strips? Then I would have it at home, but cheaper and better done? Thanks.

Anyone who likes to eat Bavarian food and is not particularly sensitive to the Bavarian language and the rustic manners will love it. I always enjoy coming back. Price-performance ratio is just right here...no fancy stuff or other frills.

According to the website, kitchen until 9 p.m. I arrived at 8:35 p.m. and asked a waitress if the kitchen was still open. Answer: Kitchen is closed! When I left immediately I was asked if I wanted to eat something???? Why did I ask for an open kitchen? Has finally died for me!!!!

Nice inn, despite the new building it is cozy. The food and drink was tasty and very well cooked.

The blood sausage was delicious. We arrived when the kitchen was about to close so we only had a short stay and 1 main plate to comment any further.

Wir waren heute mit 25 Personen zum Mittagessen - Familientreffen im Stüberl. Essen absolut top. Zwei große Tische. Essen kam tischweise, so dass wir alle gemeinsam essen konnten. Unsere Bedienung war extrem freundlich, schnell und super aufmerksam, sie wusste immer genau, wer was bestellt hatte - einfach perfekt. Preis-Leistung optimal. Schön, dass es so ein tolles Wirtshaus schon so lange gibt. Warum wohl? Wir kommen gerne wieder!! Danke!
