The food was unfortunately not good. The Milzwurst was salty and the roasted pork was very fat and not tasty. Just the drinks were good. The service was somehow okay. From my point of view its not recommended.

I used to come here often, and it was always great. Unfortunately, things have gone downhill. The service is rude and unfortunately unhelpful. If you have a food intolerance, you probably shouldn't go here. The allergen list listed on the menu isn't available upon request. Nor could they provide verbal information about allergens. Unfortunately, I ended up getting food that didn't agree with me. It's a shame. Due to the lack of information, eating here is no longer an option. Furthermore, you had to wait a very long time to order. And to reorder drinks, you had to hunt for a server because no one would come near the table...

Typical Bavarian dinner. Schnitzel with fries And cheese and mushroom stew. A delight.....the service was excellent and fast. The atmosphere was comfortable and very spacious. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

Sunday evening around 7:30 p.m. we didn't get any food...we were only recommended drinks....very disappointing!!!

We're foreigners, and since we don't speak much English, it's sometimes a bit difficult to communicate, but that's unusual given this is an authentic restaurant. The food was very good, but I felt a bit neglected; I think there was a shortage of waiters the first day. The second day, there was a new girl who treated us perfectly and did her best with her limited experience.

Very friendly waiters, who take excellent care of their waiting guests. Very friendly and accommodating. I don't need to say much about the Augustiner beer. I particularly liked the dark beer. The food was served quickly, no waiting time. The Kasspatzen (cheese spaetzle) was very tasty, but I'm not used to the fried chicken. The Obatzter (a kind of cheese) is very good, as is the roast pork.

A well-kept restaurant serving Bavarian cuisine. I really liked the fact that you can choose your portion size. Not only meat lovers will find something to enjoy here; vegetarians are also well catered for here. They are happy to accommodate special requests, and even slightly unusual dessert orders are happily fulfilled.

A visit to Haching's Mitte is always recommended for young and old. The service is excellent and the food is Bavarian-friendly, and the food is delicious.

They have small and big options which is suitable for different appetite.

We stood in the middle of the store for 20 minutes. Until I asked the waitress if there was room, she didn't even look around and said no, but instead served the other customers and made room for me.

Despite opening hours until 11 p.m., we weren't allowed in at 9:45 p.m. tonight for a drink, despite a friendly "quick beer." The two ladies pointed out that the last guests (about five tables) were already there, and all of them would be paying, so it wouldn't be worth it. Then change the opening hours during the week from 11 p.m. to 10 p.m. In short: no interest, service desert, then just don't go – there are good alternatives in Unterhaching.

Goodwill, still 2 stars, because it used to be a great restaurant in terms of food and service. Apparently they've changed chefs; the five of us went there for dinner on Mother's Day evening, and no one really enjoyed it. The veal liver was just fluffy, the side potatoes were frozen wholesale produce for all dishes, the veal patties were rock hard, probably beef? The service was phlegmatic, didn't have time to step forward and handed the food 1.30 meters across the table to the guests. The kitchen announced that Kaiserschmarrn was no longer available at 7:00 p.m. Why?? New chef? Because there are too many items on the menu?? Because everyone is stressed?? We used to like going there because the food was tasty and everything was okay, value for money, service, and service ---- but this was discussed among us as a whole, and this was the last time. Sorry, but unfortunately, at the end of Mother's Day, this has been discussed and brought up several times by many parties. Hence the low rating.

This is a typical Bavarian inn with an excellent range of different dishes. The restaurant is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly. We definitely recommend the knuckle with dumplings - a dream... Very pleasantly surprised and we will definitely come back. Top

The food was good but the shift in the kitchen ends at 8 p.m. on Sundays. It's a shame, unfortunately, a killer on a social evening with friends.

As always, the food tasted very good, but it's a shame to add ketchup and mayo to a giant Wiener schnitzel with fries and then charge 50 cents for each additional (small) packet. That used to be better!

This spot was recommended to us by a colleague who is from the Region to dine at. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. They were extreamly patient with us while we figured out the menu using Google Translate. We'll probably be back during our long stay.

We were there unannounced on a Friday evening with four people. Apparently everything was only possible with a reservation. The service was with Bavarian politeness 😉. The dishes were good. As a vegetarian you shouldn't have too high expectations. The meat dishes were all well received. The beer and wine were delicious. We would go again 👍

Very cozy inn with a great selection of regional food and drinks. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, we were assigned a table for 4 people. Hardly any time passed between ordering drinks and food. Everything was freshly prepared and we all really enjoyed it and we were really full! We'd love to come back!

Typical local food, great service and value for money

After a long time we went here again for dinner with friends. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service was very friendly. The food also came very quickly and tasted quite good. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the fried potatoes. These were more like fried boiled potatoes with almost no taste or spice. It's a shame, but the rest was delicious. The prices and portions were okay and we will definitely come back again.

Food was good but not enough, the small schnitzel was more like a breaded slice of sausage and the price of a Cola wheat for €6.20 dampened our mood anyway.

Very good food. The Rathausplatte (pork fillet and spaetzle with mushroom cream sauce) is particularly highly recommended! It was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo before the plate was empty. A charging station with 2 charging spaces for electric cars is available approx. 100m away. Unfortunately, the (very hard-working) service lady was a bit overwhelmed by the fairly full restaurant. At the same time, a young man was sitting behind the bar playing with his cell phone. So at the beginning we had to wait quite a long time for the drinks and it hardly seemed possible to order more. I can understand that service employees sometimes need a break, but if it lasts longer than an hour (that's how long we were in the restaurant, and that's how long the young man sat around doing nothing while his colleague bustled around the tables), a break room might be a more sensible place for it. This leaves a somewhat stale aftertaste. Fortunately, the kitchen makes up for a lot. The ambience is “classically Bavarian” - but not yet old-fashioned. All in all, highly recommended.

Althaching has been my absolute favorite restaurant in and around Munich for almost 12 years now. The quality of the food is top, it always comes quickly, it is very cozy and the prices are really fair. I hope that you will still be around in 50 years.

We were at the Althaching Wirtshaus today to celebrate my father's 81st birthday. When I tried my husband's side salad, I found a beetle about 1 cm long that was still alive and wriggling in the salad. The waitress then simply offered a new salad, which we understandably declined. It was pointed out that the boss has the salad washed three times and it is a natural product. Before leaving, I asked the waitress about it again and asked for the boss. Apparently he wasn't there. I pointed out to her that mistakes can happen in principle, but it's about how you deal with them. When I commented that we didn't want to offer advantages or give a negative review, she responded snidely and said we were welcome to do that. Hence this review. Very disappointing behavior as we have always been satisfied in this restaurant.

Wir waren heute im Wirtshaus Althaching, um den 81. Geburtstag meines Vaters zu feiern. Als ich den Beilagensalat meines Mannes probierte, fand ich einen ca. 1 cm großen noch lebenden und zappelnden Käfer im Salat. Die Bedienung hat daraufhin lediglich einen neuen Salat angeboten, den wir verständlicherweise abgelehnt haben. Es wurde darauf hingewiesen, dass der Chef den Salat dreimal waschen lässt und es sich um ein Naturprodukt handelt. Vor dem Aufbruch habe ich die Bedienung nochmal darauf angesprochen und nach dem Chef gefragt. Der war angeblich nicht anwesend. Ich habe sie darauf hingewiesen, dass Fehler grundsätzlich passieren können, es aber darum geht, wie man damit umgeht. Auf meine Anmerkung, dass wir keine Vorteile herausschlagen oder eine negative Bewertung abgeben möchten, reagierte sie nur schnippisch und meinte, das könnten wir gerne machen. Daher diese Bewertung. Sehr enttäuschendes Verhalten, da wir bisher in dieser Gaststätte immer zufrieden waren.

Lots of traditional dishes, reasonable prices and, if desired, small portions not only for seniors, but for everyone who is not so hungry. Beautiful outdoor area without traffic with chestnut trees and shade. So good! It's worth it.

Everything was great, gladly again

Went there today with a group of 14 people. The food tasted very good and was served very quickly. The waiter was in a very good mood and brought everything promptly and correctly. Thank you for a nice evening, we’ll be happy to come back 😊

Good food, with classic but modern interior design. Gets busy at lunch time. Price of food meets the quality and portion - huge portion!

The service was friendly. Venison goulash with giant dumplings The deer is said to have been shot in the Perlacher Forest. Whoever believes it. I have lived in the forest for over 40 years and have never seen a deer. The sauce was a ready-made sauce that was made with too much pepper. The dumpling was ok. In this restaurant, fried potatoes are quartered potatoes and therefore have nothing to do with fried potatoes.

A wonderful Bavarian economy that offers everything you could wish for! The atmosphere is typically cozy: rustic furnishings, lots of wood and a beautiful beer garden in summer. The food is excellent - from the crispy pork knuckle to the fluffy Kaiserschmarrn, everything is right here. The ingredients are fresh and regional, the portions are generous and the prices are absolutely fair. We were particularly impressed by the attentive and friendly service. A real insider tip for everyone who wants to experience Bavarian cuisine and hospitality!”

15 people were reserved but only got space for 14. When asked, no more space was made, but was just fobbed off with “squeeze in, you’ll manage”. The request for beer was responded to with an annoyed snort and an eye roll because the very nice lady was being disturbed while she was playing on her cell phone

I've had the best veal liver here in a long time. Great quality, large portion, at a sensational price. In general, you can eat very well here at reasonable prices.

We wanted to eat typical Bavarian food and this was the right place for us. The roast pork was exactly as I remembered it. The apple fritters for dessert were also so delicious.

The Althaching Wirtshaus is a real gem! Here warm hospitality meets excellent Bavarian cuisine. The dishes are fresh, authentic and prepared with attention to detail. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service make every visit a special experience. Whether for an after-work beer or a banquet – Althaching is always the perfect choice! Absolutely recommended!

Food ready in 10 minutes. Onion roast had too little sauce and doesn't necessarily need the ready-made fried onions from the package and fried potatoes need more crust. Too bad. It doesn't help that the meat was perfectly fried.

I don't usually give negative reviews but it was 8.10pm and they refused us because the kitchen was closed at 8.10pm...

Wir waren mit 15 Leuten mittags beim Essen. Wirklich ausgesprochen lecker und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Der Service war freundlich und flott. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Ganz in der Tradition der bayrischen echten Wirtshäuser. Das findet ,an leider nicht mehr so oft.

Unfortunately the food was a total failure. It was served just a few minutes after we arrived. The “Wiener Style” schnitzel was flaxy and chewy, the breading was a hard board. The boiled beef was tough. The red cabbage with the duck was very sweet and had a slimy consistency. Overall a disappointment! However, the atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly. Maybe it was Sunday evening...

The food is great, the beer is excellent and the service is professional and friendly. I've been here several times and it's been great every time! I'm a big fan of Bavarian cuisine - it's delicious. Great cozy atmosphere, delicious Bavarian food

Unfortunately we were very disappointed on our last visit, for example the dumplings were very hard and the service wasn't particularly good either.

The best place in south Germany you can eat at. Every time I’m in Germany I only eat here.

Portion was large enough and tasty. Unfortunately you couldn't open the windows and it was very warm.

Unfortunately, my birthday party was a failure: we received 2 x lukewarm, dry and presumably warmed pork knuckles, which we returned because both pork knuckles also tasted strange. I didn't feel well afterwards, which the rude waitress only commented on with "You didn't eat any of it." The fact that the coleslaw was forgotten when we had a knuckle and we had to order a beer four times before we got it is no longer significant.

After a long time I was there again. The food was good and very filling, luckily you can have what you didn't eat packed up to take away! The price is not exaggerated either. The waitresses were all very friendly, knowledgeable and available to give good advice. It's nice to sit in the winter garden, not particularly comfortable but definitely OK. When the weather is nice and warm, we recommend dining outside I will come back!

The food was good, service and value for money were also good, the ambience in the restaurant took some getting used to. Here they tried to incorporate some Bavarian flair into a relatively sterile new building, but in our opinion that didn't work out so well. Ultimately, however, the positive aspects outweigh the negatives and we would definitely go here again if we were in Unterhaching again.
