We recently had lunch at Zinners for the first time. The service was very friendly. We each ordered the fried chicken salad, which was served promptly. I'd like to highlight the original idea of ​​adding some nuts, apparently tossed in honey, and sliced ​​radishes to the dish. The portion sizes were adequate. Unfortunately, those were the only positive highlights. The chicken was flat and coated in a thick, dark breading. The frying oil was clearly no longer fresh, as the breading tasted rancid. The meat was also quite dry. Regarding the potato and cucumber salad: In our opinion, this was an industrially produced potato salad, like something from Kugler Feinkost or similar. Since I've loved potato salad since childhood and enjoy making it myself, I believe I can taste the difference between homemade and store-bought. Even with the addition of some coarsely chopped onions and a few pieces of cucumber, you can't transform a store-bought potato salad into one that tastes homemade, combines a variety of flavor nuances (sour, savory, and slightly sweet), and isn't just sour. And when, as in our case, you also find a small portion of cucumber salad with a creamy, oily vinaigrette on top of the potato salad, the result, however well-intentioned, is no longer a culinary masterpiece that I would gladly offer to anyone. For us, our first and probably last visit to Zinners can only be described as a complete waste of time and money. Our culinary expectations of finding authentic Bavarian inn fare at Zinners were perhaps too high. In any case, they were not met. A pity.

Delicious roast beef, unfortunately without the described horseradish and the sauce was also forgotten when serving, hence one star less.

On Saturday evening, we visited this restaurant for the first time – and were absolutely delighted. We ordered two veal Wiener schnitzels and asked for a small change to the side dishes, which the friendly server handled without any fuss or extra charge – sadly, that's not always the case these days. For starters, we enjoyed a wonderfully creamy pumpkin soup, accompanied by the "century beer" and an apple spritzer with small pieces of apple – honestly, the best I've ever had. The quality of the food was exceptionally good, and even the dishes that were carried past our table looked consistently appetizing and beautifully presented. The prices are typical for the area, but what counts is the quality – and the schnitzel, soup, and drinks all delivered absolutely outstanding results. We're certain of one thing: We'll definitely be back – and this time with even bigger appetites!

Our server was very friendly and attentive. When choosing our food, I was even informed that the dish I selected could also be ordered in a smaller portion. The dishes served were of very good quality and a perfectly adequate size. In addition to the quality of the food and drinks, the friendliness and attentiveness of the service deserve special mention. Service is truly valued here. The only slight drawback to the ambiance is the somewhat high noise level in the restaurant. We highly recommend Zinners Inn and will gladly return.

Well, the salad really wasn't that tasty; the dressing was far too heavy and made me feel sick. Paying also took a very long time, unfortunately, not a good overall impression.

The reservation went smoothly. There's a charming interior and a large outdoor seating area. We were here for dinner on September 17, 2025. Two very friendly staff members looked after us attentively. The restrooms were clean. The menu is varied and offers many seasonal dishes. We found the food prices to be excessive, for example, a salad with a few pieces of pumpkin and feta for €17.50. The beer prices are just about right. Definitely worth recommending. The food is truly excellent. While the prices aren't the cheapest, it's definitely worth the money. I've tried almost all of the main courses there. My favorites are the Munich schnitzel and the burger. The beer garden is very nice and offers plenty of space, and the interior is also nicely decorated.

Hidden Bavarian restaurant. We had a reservation here as a group, and they served a buffet. For starters, there were small mixed plates arranged on tiered plates. They also served with bread and butter. It was delicious for some, with very different tastes. Then there was a main course buffet. It was an interesting combination, and the duck sauce was only served upon request. Otherwise, the food was okay. Tasty, but nothing that would blow you away. The restaurant is beautiful, quaint, and comfortably furnished. That's a plus. The selection of a la carte dishes was large and varied, so there's something for every taste and budget. The service left something to be desired. I think they were short-staffed. Everything took forever. Overall, it was okay. I might have to try it again if I ever come back to the area.

Clear recommendation for a typical Bavarian culinary delight in a beautiful beer garden

The ambiance is pleasant, but the customer culture is strange. Every now and then, a disabled man peeks through the door and gawks into the room. We had the sausage salad: it was good but poorly prepared; the tarte flambée: NOT GOOD AT ALL! Unfortunately, it had nothing to do with the classic tarte flambée and was extremely soggy and greasy in the middle. The dough was also not good at all; the Munich schnitzel: that was great! Also a great portion – and finally, the Kaiserschmarren: this was by far the worst Kaiserschmarren I've ever had (see picture). The menu says it takes 20 minutes to cook, as is usual. After waiting, it arrived only half-lukewarm. The taste was completely bland and hardly sweet. The giant chunks were also really mushy, and the dough wasn't processed properly. It was like a swollen mush in your mouth. It was really nauseous. In total, almost half of the food was left over, and in the end, we paid almost €70... We traveled there especially to eat, and unfortunately, it was a complete disaster! Our waitress wasn't as fit for work as she seemed. We arrived and weren't greeted warmly, as she was still sitting there relaxing and eating. Okay, I can understand that, but it was still silly. We weren't even asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything. The staff behind the bar constantly stared at us, but no one came when we needed them. And every time I looked at the waitress, she was eating. So either she has a problem or the staff desperately needs a meal break. Unfortunately, it seemed very unprofessional. The restroom isn't wheelchair accessible and is also part of a public building – a bit smelly. Unfortunately, it's not worth a visit, which is a shame, as I had high expectations after the online presence.

The beer garden is truly beautiful and quiet. The benches and furnishings are of very high quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you have a special request.

Amazing! We spontaneously went there as a family on a Sunday. The service is always very attentive. You don't have to ask for anything; everything is taken care of. The children get something to color, and outside there are two rocking horses for the little ones. The outdoor area is well-grown. But, wonder of the world, the food was good, and as we went along, the waitress even smiled once. What more could you want? P.S. The beer garden was completely empty.

We were there a week ago. We were just going to a concert and discovered this cozy beer garden. It had a lovely atmosphere. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress. The food was really very good. Even though we had to wait a long time, we were given an aperitif on the house as compensation. I have to honestly say that the service was truly excellent. I've always found that as soon as I've finished my meal, there's no more waiter to be seen. That was different there. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

I can recommend eating and drinking. The atmosphere is very nice, the beer garden is also very pleasant, not too big but not small either. Unfortunately, they are a little understaffed, which means that you have to wait longer, be noticed that you have sat down at the table, take orders, and pay. Unfortunately, it also happened that we were sitting in the beer garden and only noticed by chance that they only served the front tables. We had looked around to see if there was any indication of this somewhere, but unfortunately this was not the case, there was also no indication that the staff had seated us. On another day there was a sign indicating that the staff seated us but apparently not always, which of course for us guests who were hungry and thirsty meant that we waited for 30 minutes for free and then had to wait again because they only had one condition, where in my opinion there should have been 2 conditions. Nevertheless, overall we are ultimately satisfied and can recommend it. We will come back too. 3 stars only because of the waiting time, signs and the fact that the fried potatoes and fries were distributed very unevenly on the plates.

The waitresses are sometimes a bit helpless. We were left standing at the beer garden entrance even though there were free tables. Maybe you should consider hiring more waitresses to reduce the workload.

I had lunch here in Zinnäs with my family (4 people) today and got a table quite quickly despite the beer garden and restaurants being quite full. The order was taken quickly, but it really took forever for the drinks and food to arrive; well, there was a lot going on, we accepted that. The food was delicious, we had Wiener Schnitzel, fried chicken, onion roast and the burger. There were fried potatoes with the Wiener Schnitzel, but unfortunately only a mini portion; Otherwise the price-performance ratio was very good. But after dinner we wanted to order drinks. We were definitely seen by the waitress in charge, but ignored. We asked the nice employee who was responsible for bringing and clearing away several times that we would like to order drinks and a Kaiserschmarrn. After almost 45 minutes we finally received our drinks. In the meantime, the responsible employee still wasn't with us and didn't ask if we wanted anything. The only thing that suddenly went quickly was when it came to paying and the employee in question had time for us. The service is really sad; If it hadn't been for the other nice employee, we would have sat there longer without drinks or Kaiserschmarrn. Please be sure to work on the service; That doesn't work at all, no matter what. Or are you hiring more employees? I counted about five employees. This is of course a total understaffing.

🥘 The Wirtshaus Zinners in Munich / Taufkirchen is a real insider tip for lovers of traditional Bavarian (and a little bit international) cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, both indoors and in the beautiful beer garden. The food is excellent – ​​freshly prepared, tasty and with a great selection of regional specialties. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and attentive service, which makes the visit a completely successful experience. The central location and easy accessibility make the Wirtshaus Zinners a perfect place for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Absolutely recommended. I would say the prices are in the mid to upper range.

The onion roast was subpar. The fried potatoes were in the pan for maybe 10 seconds, they were limp and cold. The waitress' reaction left something to be desired: I should start with the meat. We're talking about the most expensive dish on the menu, 27 euros. The other dishes were also mediocre. Dishes were also returned from other tables. The table for a reservation for 14 people wasn't even set yet. We will host the next family celebration somewhere else. It's a shame, it used to be good here.

I've had problems in the past because the service was poor and the food had too many frills. On Sunday I was very happy with more than 4 people at lunchtime. The food has clearly improved (the only detraction was the Kaiserschmarrn, which was very solid and heavy). The service was 100%. I'm looking forward to the next visit

The staff was well organized and friendly even when it was busy. Now it has changed. Unfortunately we have now been very disappointed twice. Last Friday, there were 2 waitresses and 1 bar at work, which used to be more. We ordered a duck breast with served dumplings and red cabbage. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for the food. When the food finally came it was cold and the portion seemed like one portion had been divided into two plates. Very clear, something I didn't know, and it was an expensive dish. Everyone had 3 small pieces of meat and a small hint of red cabbage on their plate. When we complained, the waitress said I would pass it on, otherwise nothing happened. When we were there yesterday, Monday, we waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for a Caesar salad with baked chicken. The chicken was ice cold when we finally got our food. This time there was 1 server and 1 bar for the entire restaurant. The waitress was just running. When we asked her whether there was a staff shortage, she just said, no, the boss is saving on staff. Other guests around us also complained. I'm an entrepreneur myself and I think this strategy is unfortunately ruining a well-functioning restaurant. I wanted to celebrate my Christmas party there, which unfortunately I won't do under these circumstances. My husband also said that unfortunately we would have to look for something else, which I think is a shame because we always enjoyed being there.

This restaurant has not been reachable by phone for weeks. But they advertise takeaway food. So you go there and then wait 30 minutes for a schnitzel to take away.
