The food tasted fantastic and arrived quickly, even though the nice gentleman was apparently alone and had already prepared other things. The price-performance ratio is great, we both barely finished our portions and were able to take them with us. The service was very friendly and pleasant. I can only recommend it!
We had reserved a table, but unfortunately, it wasn't as good as we'd hoped. The food arrived super quickly, but the burgers were only lukewarm and not a hit. Drinks: Peach iced tea, according to our kids, tasted like cheap crumb tea.
I think this visit is enough for us; we'll eat somewhere else next time.
It's very loud there, like a train station.
This restaurant in Erfurt is simply worth recommending. It was so busy at lunchtime that the restaurant was quiet and the tables were almost clean. Even the restrooms were very clean. There's nothing to complain about. Great, keep it up. The tables were even decorated with vases and fresh flowers.
The rooms are nice, and the breakfast is good. Fresh sausage and cheese, and the rolls are unfortunately pre-baked. Which is a shame, since the Nüsslein advertises homemade baked goods. The cake looked very good, and I think it was homemade.
The service was terrible. The tables weren't wiped properly; everything was just a mess and scattered on the floor and chairs. The tablecloth was unfortunately dirty. We had pointed out when paying that this wasn't acceptable. Did it arrive? We won't know, since we won't be going back to the Nüsslein.
The drink was good. A very unfriendly, older waiter. This gentleman seemed to be unfamiliar with the service. I will definitely not be going back to this place, as it's guaranteed to leave you in a bad mood, especially given the prices.
Due to the new ordering system, ordering takes forever. I had to leave my sub there today, even though I had already paid, because my train was on time. I'm hoping for compensation.
It's not easy for me to write a review that isn't entirely based on well-meaning euphoria. But the demand for honest authenticity requires honesty - and so I would like to describe my experience in the drugstore Bistro in Erfurt with the necessary stylistic restraint, but also with the utmost clarity.
First the positive: The interior of the bistro has undoubtedly been given a certain design flair. There is an urban minimalism that doesn't seem completely soulless, but rather conveys a certain idea of culinary culture in a small space. The range of dishes on offer is also – at first glance – attractively curated, although the details prove to be less profound than the names on the board suggest.
Unfortunately, the goodwill ends where interpersonal warmth should become the crucial ingredient: in service. I particularly remember a small lady with a resolute stature, brown hair and a striking pair of glasses, whose demeanor could be described benevolently as “determined”, but less euphemistically as “nasty”. Her manner of communication suggests that for her, kindness is a luxury that she denies herself on principle. A matter-of-factly expressed special request was met with a mixture of mockery and demonstrative excessive demands, which for a moment made you think you had walked into a sketch from a Loriot film.
Forgive me, but hospitality thrives on delicate tact, not on clipped tone. In an establishment that calls itself a “bistro” – a term that promises French lightness and café culture – you expect more charm, less cholericness.
The food itself was okay, but not of the quality that would justify the poor service. The coffee: drinkable. The prices: reasonable, if they were accompanied by an atmosphere that invites you to linger. But this wasn't the case - and so a planned longer stay turned into a short visit with an aftertaste.
Anyone who likes to throw their money out the window is in good hands here!!! Last dirty shop. Exorbitant prices up to the Get Now. The inflation crisis is being shamelessly exploited. 24€ for 3x Pomm kebab (without fries, just kebab meat with herb sauce). Doner meat was scraped together, nothing fresh. He didn't want to hand over the receipt, despite asking. Better to eat at an Italian restaurant for 27€ 2 large pizzas, 2 cokes and 1 sparkling wine than in this sweatshop, stay away!!!!
Do you think it's normal for your driver to drive his scooter across the sidewalk on Lilo-Hermann-Strasse like a madman at 9:40 p.m.? People had to jump out of the way, and not to mention the noise. Honestly, I don't think that's normal!
