Very nice location. Near the Krämerbrücke bridge. Outdoor area (beer garden) and quaint, cozy interior. Very friendly staff. Reasonable price/performance ratio. We only had a few beers. 🙂 A must-visit for Erfurt!
The ambiance was fine, clean, and the service friendly, but the food was abysmal. The dumplings were like tennis balls, disgusting, and the meat was simply inedible. Too greasy, too oily.
I was here several years ago and unfortunately can't change my opinion of this place.
Once, and definitely never again.
A very good Greek restaurant in Erfurt. We usually order in advance by phone and then pick up the food. The gyro is perfectly made (crispy yet juicy), but all the other dishes we order are also high-quality, plentiful, and, above all, always delicious. You're always greeted warmly, and even if you have to wait a bit, you'll get a complimentary glass of ouzo. A lovely outdoor terrace in the summer. We'd happily go back…
Nice location, in the middle of the city.
Food prepared without love or imagination. Boring. Price/performance are far apart. When you called for service, someone came over, listless.
That's probably why it was so empty.
A wonderful place, under the trees, in front of the historic walls.
The food was delicious, the service was quick and very friendly.
And the fact that it's a Lebenshilfe campaign makes it even better - just great!
We went out to eat as a family today. We had reserved a table over the phone beforehand. They said my four-year-old son could eat for free, so I thought, great service - we'll book there. All right, we booked a table, ate, and when we paid, we were charged €14, even though it also said children over 6 pay first. It's not about the €14 for me, it's about the principle. It was sold differently over the phone, and that's true, because we adults really enjoyed the food.
So, I'm happy to pay more if the quantity and quality of the food are right. But if it gets more and more expensive and at the same time the quality gets worse and worse, then this restaurant is deliberately being driven into ruin. I've been eating here regularly for almost 9 years and the selection is becoming increasingly bland and it doesn't taste good anymore. Now the delicious salads are no longer available - a business economist has once again discovered a way to offer guests even less. The main thing is to squeeze as much profit as possible out of the stupid guest - thank you very much!
The only people I feel sorry for here are the employees, because the hard-working people have to endure the frustration and displeasure caused by an apparently money-hungry management.
Highly recommended – we'd love to come back!
I honestly don't fully understand some of the recent reviews – especially the criticism that they no longer serve burgers. Of course, that's a matter of taste, but the current menu, with dishes like roulades and fresh asparagus, is a welcome departure from the usual mass-produced fare you can find elsewhere. And it should also be said that you can eat burgers anywhere. There are enough restaurants in the city for that.
The food here is clearly high-quality and freshly prepared – you can taste it! Unfortunately, many restaurants just reheat food, but here the food is cooked with quality and love. Whether it's the fresh schnitzel or the excellently prepared asparagus – you can immediately tell the difference. The sauce was also homemade and definitely not from a carton – a huge plus!
The portions are generous, especially compared to some other restaurants. The value for money is absolutely spot on.
A big compliment also to the service team: friendly, attentive, and welcoming – we felt completely at home.
Thank you for your great work – we are already looking forward to our next visit!
