The two chefs are incredibly warm, extremely hospitable, and take time for their guests – something you rarely find these days. We spontaneously stopped by the Greek restaurant one evening and easily got a table without a reservation. The atmosphere was fine overall, albeit with a few minor flaws, such as a slightly sticky table. The service was friendly, but our request to opt out of a side dish was ignored for both dishes. We also had to wait a while for the bill. The food arrived quickly and we enjoyed it very much, especially the meat. The portions were generous, and the value for money was absolutely convincing. As a nice touch, we were offered ouzo before and after each meal, as well as a free dessert to finish.

So, If you're thinking about going out to eat, go to McDonald's instead. The employees are extremely unfriendly. Also, we ordered something and after 30 minutes, we found out that they didn't have any side dishes for our desired meal because they were out of stock. To top it all off, we ordered beer but were given a shandy with the claim that it was "healthier." Please don't come here unless you want unfriendly service and undercooked food.

An adventure in one evening. After a phone call, we were told there would be room for five outside. When we arrived, things changed. We sat inside and sat in the dark for a bit. The lights were still out. We were greeted and ordered drinks. Of the five drinks, two were wrong and one was on the house. Then we were escorted outside and found a nice spot. The preparation time was perfectly acceptable. The food was delicious and filling. The tzatziki was spicy, tangy, and really good. At first, the waitress was a bit stressed by the number of guests and orders. Later, the atmosphere became much more relaxed and humorous. Overall, an interesting experience with delicious food.

The Coke was warm, not filled to the gauge line, the mushroom pan consisted almost entirely of onions, the salad was 80% coleslaw, and as an excuse, a small slice of feta on top. The other guests at the table didn't enjoy their food either, the waiter, with his unspeakably hectic pace, created a mood that was completely detrimental to a relaxed atmosphere, and finally tipped a glass onto one of the guests (incidentally, no new glass was brought to the table). One of currently two Greek restaurants in Erfurt. However, I have to say that this Greek restaurant doesn't really appeal to me when it comes to food either. There is nothing extraordinary. The dishes are standard in terms of selection and taste. The service is quite good so far and the ambience is also average.

Prices are very humane. We paid €39 for food and drink and didn't have to pay anything for the ouzo or the small dessert (2 people) The atmosphere is also very cozy. The employees are very friendly.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber das Essen war ehrlicherweise wirklich maximal durchschnittlich und weit entfernt von authentischer griechischer Kost. Vernünftiges Olivenöl, vernünftige Dressings für Salate (anstatt nur trockenem Oregano und Fertigdressing) und das Gefühl, dass Tzatziki und diverse Speisen wirklich selbst gefertigt werden, würde dem vom Feeling her netten Ambiente einen echten Pluspunkt verschaffen. Alles in allem ein amüsanter Abend …. Chaotischer bis konzeptloser Service, der allerdings durch Geschwindigkeit bestach. Der Service rannte im Laufschritt durch das Lokal und kommunizierte lautstark schreiend miteinander. Leider kamen wohl unerwartet Stammgäste, so dass wir unseren 6er Tisch gegen einen 5er Tisch für uns sechs Erwachsene eintauschen mussten. Der recht lieblose Salat mit Fertigdressing wurde wie beim Kartenspielen im Uhrzeigersinn verteilt. Die Hauptgänge kamen kurz danach und waren bisweilen eine sehr kreative Variante der aus der Speisekarte bestellten Gerichte. 5 von 6 Essen waren ok, aber auch nicht mehr. Das Huhn war stark angebrannt, was mit viel Soße versucht wurde zu kaschieren. Die Reklamation wurde betroffen aufgenommen. Um auch etwas positives zu schreiben, muss man sagen, dass das Preis - Leistungs - Verhältnis soweit ok ist. Bemüht war man sicherlich, da man von Anfang an im 30 Minuten Turnus Rundenweise Ouzo brachte und vor der Rechnung in Zimt und Honig gewälzte Krapfen. Wer was erleben will und wenig Anspruch an sein Essen hat, der kann hier richtig sein. Wer gut und in Ruhe essen möchte, könnte hier verkehrt sein.

Always good food and the service is great

Gyros was bland and tasted partly burnt, Metaxa sauce was almost tasteless. The liver is very stringy and almost raw. Tzatziki was loveless and the martini we ordered was some kind of booze with coffee beans, but not a martini. Waiter very hectic. Fries were good, but 1* Conclusion, even if the prices are ok for today, the taste of large canteen food is very poor. We won't visit again, it's a shame, the reviews were pretty good, I can't understand it.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a nice dining experience at Artemis. The room was filled with greasy smoke that hurt your eyes and stinked your clothes, the waiters were so stressed that you were afraid to order anything, and the food was subpar. In Greece, no one eats iceberg lettuce with ready-made dressing. The dishes had no flair and tasted like they were made as cheaply as possible. Too bad! I wish that more effort was generally made to serve guests good food and to ensure they had a good time.

Based on the good reviews, I thought I couldn't go wrong here. We were a group of 12. A gyro was forgotten and after being asked about it three times we canceled it. When saying goodbye, I was again asked to come earlier. So we arrived promptly at 5:00 p.m. when the restaurant opened and were asked briskly and annoyed if we had made a reservation. Despite a reservation, we were assigned a table - unfortunately in the middle of the sun and at 32°C. When politely asked to move to the next table because of the sun, the reply was brisk: "That's a table for 6 people. Are you 6?" (No 4 but no one was sitting at this table the whole time) and the sun would move on. That's what she did, right in the face of the two of them, who until then at least still had shadows there. The waiter was constantly annoyed and really an imposition. We would have liked to have stayed longer and had a drink and another dessert, but unfortunately this unfriendliness drove us away and put a damper on the evening. What a shame!

What a disaster! How can you rate something like that as good? The service was unfriendly, there were only short announcements like: "Hello, 5 or 6?" or “Ready?”. Second waitress hangs with her armpit over the guest when serving and cannot remember orders. The food is nothing but ready-made, you can see that with the gyros and they couldn't even manage to fry that, some of it was still raw. Steaks were hard and dry, the fries were just mush. Only the mutton rib was good. Drinks were lukewarm and we didn't like the dessert either. The little yeast dough balls at the end tasted good, but were dripping with oil. Good Greek cuisine definitely works differently!

Wir waren an einem Samstagabend im Artemis. Auch ohne Reservierung bekamen wir gleich einen Tisch zugeteilt. Das Restaurant war etwa zur Hälfe besetzt. Zwei ältere Herren und zwei junge Bedienungen teilten sich die Gäste. Die Herren waren sehr gemütlich und die jüngeren verbreitet eine Unruhe, weil sie im Laufschritt durch das Restaurant gerannt sind. Wir aßen einen gegrillten Fetakäse für 7,00€ , einmal Gyros für 12,50€ und einen Olympiateller für 17,50€. Der Grillkäse war OK. Das Gyros auf beiden Tellern war angebrannt, die Pommes frites waren kalt. Die Beilagensalate bestanden nur aus einzelnen Blätter. Die Biere vom Fass waren alle ohne Kohlesäure und abgestanden. So schlecht haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Daher können wir nur von einem Besuch abraten.

The salad was carelessly placed on the plate. The free oil balls for dessert tasted like nothing. I don't go to this restaurant anymore.
