I had the New York Burger and it was delicious... except for the gentleman at the service, he was annoying and definitely not funny

Came in shortly before closing time and the chef went into the kitchen again just for me and conjured up a fantastic T-bone for me. The waiter was also extremely friendly and very accommodating. Yes, yes...we were in the Italian restaurant with guests from the far north...I would rate it like that...They made an effort...the young service staff seemed to be reaching their limits at times, which was temporary and assignment... well, Italy had just played... and was then probably allowed to "go home".... in perspective... I would see a lot of potential in this restaurant... ultimately the bill It was moderate and the "chef" made a friendly impression, it's fine...but you should bring a little more time and know exactly what you want...

A nice, cozy spot in the heart of Erfurt city center. The service staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and appetizingly prepared. The burgers in particular, with their initially unusual look, were absolutely delicious. The salad plate, for example, is served at a separate buffet by the staff and tasted fresh and crunchy. Price/performance was reasonable and the toilets were also very clean and modern. We'd love to come back.

It was my first time in the log cabin. The menu was very impressive, not too fancy, but there were a few little surprises for the exceptional taste. The sanitary facilities were very clean, the table was neatly and professionally set. The preparation and ingredients seemed very high quality, even with simple food. I would particularly like to praise the staff. Even though they were all busy, there was always the feeling of "the good spirit" who had an eye on what needed to be done without being intrusive. Probably all professionals or great talents. A very successful combination, highly recommended. You pay, but good people want and should be paid.

I was not happy about the meat i ordered. Tasted nothing like the one in Lisboa Block house. The goulash soup basically served in a sauce bowl.. I don't know maybe i had a very high level expectations.

I arrived here on a sunny Tuesday (May 14th) at 9:25 p.m. It quickly became clear that things had to go quickly. You close right away. The tables outside were almost all covered. I didn't want to inconvenience the staff and just ordered a small portion of North Sea crabs (for almost €11, the amount is a bad joke!) and a drink.

The service is really super friendly! As expected, the steak and the degree of doneness are very good! But what neither fits the price nor the requirements is serving frozen vegetables! Unfortunately, this affects every BLOCK HOUSE! Overall, I can recommend the restaurant, especially because of the good service!

Es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Ich hatte Geburtstag und das wurde von meiner Tochter bei der Reservierung erwähnt. Zur Begrüßung wurde ein Glas Prosecco mit Feuerfontäne und mit Musik "Hoch soll er leben" im Hintergrund auf Kosten des Hauses serviert. Es wurde ein schickes Foto vom Personal gemacht, welches in einer gestalteten Mappe mit Unterschrift aller Beschäftigten am Ende übergeben wurde. Das Restaurant machte einen äußerst sauberen und ordentlichen Eindruck. Das Personal war schick gekleidet und unaufdringlich, professionell und nett. Die Speisen, o.k. es ist schon ziemlich teuer, aber wenn es dann so toll schmeckt und die Qualität stimmt, dann hat das Besondere eben auch seinen berechtigten Preis. Also, wir hatten wirklich nichts zu meckern. Danke und wir wünschen allzeit nur zufriedene Gäste!

The food wasn't well prepared, fries were carelessly slapped onto the plate, and the vegetables looked soggy. But: everything tasted very good, especially the meat. The waiter was annoyed and struggled to pull himself together. Overall, you get more for the money.

Great birthday at Blockhouse Erfurt Yesterday I went to Blockhouse Erfurt with my mother and my boyfriend to celebrate her birthday and we had a truly unforgettable evening! From the start we were served by Martin, who was extremely friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was cozy and the furnishings were modern and stylish. The food was fantastic! We opted for the juicy steaks and delicious side dishes - simply delicious. We were particularly happy about the loving birthday gesture: Prosecco, a card with a photo and personal congratulations as well as a beautiful flower were served at our table. Such little touches and the excellent service made our evening a completely successful birthday dinner. We'll definitely be back soon! Many thanks to the entire Blockhouse team for this great evening.

Basically it was completely fine, food was good. Unfortunately the meat was no longer warm. But medium and tender. Our service was friendly and we were also asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. However, you should consider the strategy as to whether it makes sense for the service staff to stand in the entrance and "wait" for me as a guest until something happens or play "games" or whether it would be more relaxed for everyone to distribute tasks around a certain activity to signal. You are a great shop, please try to use your time carefully, if the guest has the feeling that you are waiting, discomfort is not far away.

Let's start with the appetizer. I had French onion soup ahead of time. Plus a French red wine. The onion soup itself had a super oniony aroma and a super flaky consistency. I would have preferred a stronger cheese for the cheese. And some salt was missing too. (Which wasn't a bad thing, you could add seasoning at the table) For the main course I had a Hereford Rib-Eye 250g. The baked potato was excellent. And the garlic bread was also very successful. The steak meat had a wonderful taste. But now comes the most important point of criticism. For a steakhouse, I expect the cooking point to be exactly what the guest wants. I ordered medium rare and unfortunately received medium well. Due to the outstandingly good taste of the meat, it was a shame for me to let the steak go back. Please pay more attention here in the future. For dessert I had two scoops of homemade chocolate ice cream. That was really very good. I had absolutely nothing wrong with that. All in all it was a nice evening. We were served quickly. The waiters were super nice and accommodating and the atmosphere was nice to look at. We'd love to come back.

We were there for a birthday dinner. The birthday child (6 years old) was welcomed with music and a small surprise as well as a welcome drink. The evening couldn't have started any better. Food was great and the waiter was very attentive. Always very happy.

A really great restaurant that took me into a rollercoaster of emotions. First of all, the food was good. The restaurant has a very, very good location and the atmosphere is very pleasant for dining. The meat is super tender and the service is very nice. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes. Why do I reserve? Then you should immediately say, “Unfortunately you have to be a little patient and wait”. Then you know what's going on and prepare for it. Even with children you know what to expect! But that wasn't the reason for the stars!!!! Why is every single sauce, every potato gratin, every vegetable individually wrapped in foil bags? Simply because it is a chain store and it should taste the same everywhere. You don't have to be a chef to do this. Even the meat is already portioned and just needs to be put on the hot plate. The spice mixture does the rest. What environmental pollution with plastic waste!!! What struck me a little was that the "cook" stabbed the baked potatoes with the same scissors that he had used to cut open the sachets of sauce and vegetables shortly before. Almost all dishes (including the meat) were touched with bare hands! In an upscale kitchen, an absolute no-go! So it's a bit disappointing for the money. Addendum from February 10, 2024 Thank you for the detailed explanation! For that alone you deserve the star more. However, I reserve a table so that I don't have to wait that long. Here the staff should keep an eye on when a table needs to be blocked in time. This is definitely something that can be expanded! I'm with you on the topic of disposable gloves. But there wasn't much to be seen of disinfecting hands. And picking up potatoes with the scissors that the other crickets used to cut open the packaging isn't tasty either. We went there for lunch on Saturday without a reservation and I was thrilled again. The salad was fresh and delicious as always, the bread (my favorite anyway) was crispy, well seasoned and fluffy on the inside; My steak was more rare than medium-rare but still very, very tasty and I could have had it put on the grill again (I noticed from a neighboring table). All in all, super tasty and, thanks to my great company, a lunch to remember! Ps: the waitress tried very hard to communicate with my companion in English until I took over the translation 🤭🥰 very warm young lady!

Wir sind das erste Mal seit 3 Jahren wieder essen gegangen und hatten in Erfurt eigentlich ein „Stammlokal“. Da ich aber heute Mittag spontan auf die Idee kam mal wieder essen zu gehen, rief ich dort an - und es war natürlich nichts mehr frei. Nach einigen Anrufen, kam ich beim Block House an. Von Anfang an super sympathisch. Schon der nette Herr an der Tür begrüßte uns sehr freundlich. Und dann lernten wir unsere Kellnerin Julia kennen. Sie ist wohl ein Segen für das Block House. Wir - also zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Julia war witzig, super kompetent und immer auf Zack. Das Essen war super lecker und toll finden wir die Nachhaltigkeit und das Bewusstsein auch für das Tier. Wir werden jetzt öfter im Block House essen. Die Kids haben zum Abschluss auch noch Luftballons und ein Kartenspiel bekommen. Danke dafür 😊 Von uns eine klare Empfehlung :)

Wir waren Samstag am Nachmittag da und haben das "AKTIONS" Hüftsteak gegessen. Als erstes einen gemischten Salat und dann der Hauptgang. Sehr schneller und freundlicher Services. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht es war sehr lecker. Aber das erwartet man auch bei dieser Restaurantkette.

Kann man nur empfehlen, gern wieder.

Typische Steakhouse Kette, Preisleistung OK mit Tendenz zu Teuer, Essen ist vollkommen in Ordnung und dann hörts auch schon auf… Wenn ich Essen gehe will ich aber ein Erlebnis und was besonderes und das bekomme ich hier nicht und dafür ist der Preis auch hart an der Grenze. Ich hätte mir den Besuch sparen können aber wenn ihr nur schnell was Abendessen wollt dann geht’s…

Block House hat uns am Feiertag den Abend gerettet Leider waren wir in dem Burger Laden schräg gegenüber und wurden nach einer Stunde nicht bedient dann haben wir ins entschieden ins Block House zu gehen und es war die beste Entscheidung Total freundliche Bedienungen , schneller Service , zeitiges super leckeres Essen dafür zahlt man sich gerne den Preis 🫶🏼 Auf unser wieder kommen ist Verlass Dankeschön :)
