Delicious food and drinks of all kinds. We look forward to every visit. The Christmassy courtyard with mulled wine and live cooking was also wonderful and very tasty 😋 🤤 😋 It should be an annual event now.

The food was excellent, the portions were large, and the staff was attentive and courteous. All in all, a perfect restaurant; I would gladly return anytime.

The Louisiana Steakhouse in Erfurt offers an authentic Southern atmosphere and impresses above all with its high-quality meat and perfectly cooked steaks. The hearty side dishes and the wide selection of bourbons are particularly noteworthy. Service is usually attentive, although there may be slightly longer wait times on busy evenings – reservations are therefore highly recommended.

What a delicious rump steak! 400g is really not easy to cook, but the chef knows his stuff. Service and atmosphere: 10/10 Anyone who wants to eat a great steak shouldn't miss this restaurant.

It was perfect as always: excellent food, friendly and attentive service, and a very nice menu, including options for our vegetarian guest. I don't know what could be improved.

Beer garden is lovely at Christmas time

Super friendly service. A variety of local and American beers. Louisiana flair in both the decor and the food. The filet was ordered medium and arrived medium, very tasty and with excellent quality meat. There are several side dishes to choose from; I had Louisiana beans. Highly recommended.

The service and ambiance were absolutely outstanding – the staff was very friendly and attentive. However, the food was a mixed bag. We ordered the BBQ platter as a starter twice. This consisted of BBQ ribs, potato wedges, onion rings, a vegetarian option, and a bacon-wrapped prune. The potato wedges and onion rings seemed like pre-made products, which was acceptable to us. The vegetarian option and the bacon-wrapped prune were tasty. The ribs, however, were disappointing. As someone who regularly hosts BBQs, I expect much more from BBQ ribs. They seemed rather boiled and were only served with a good, but very sparingly and carelessly applied sauce – and only on the top side. Unfortunately, this had little to do with classic BBQ. The main courses were generally good. For dessert, we both had gingerbread crème brûlée. The crème itself was delicious, but we felt it lacked a distinct gingerbread flavor. In our opinion, there was also too much fruit decoration. We also ordered quark cakes. While these were very large, they were unfortunately undercooked. There were three on the plate. Since two had already been eaten (the person who ordered them only managed one, and I had another), one was left over. The very friendly server asked if everything was alright. We explained that the portion was too large and the cakes weren't cooked through. She offered to bring more, which we declined due to the portion size. Regarding the size, she explained that they were shaped with an ice cream scoop – however, all three cakes were very different sizes, which contradicted this explanation.

I had the cheesesteak...it was delicious...the staff was very attentive and quick...and the atmosphere was cozy...not too cramped...so everything was great.

We had our class reunion at the steakhouse. The service was very attentive and understanding. Every request was fulfilled. As for the food, I can say that I ate the most tender steak of my life there. The taste was wonderful, too. I had the steak mignon.

The food was delicious, the portion was generous, and the staff was friendly and attentive. A visit is always worthwhile – I'll gladly come again. The mulled wine and the atmosphere in the courtyard at the Christmas market were simply superb – especially since it wasn't the standard Fahner mulled wine you find everywhere. Excellent!

In this beautifully decorated, modern-rustic steakhouse, guests receive a very friendly welcome and are shown to their table. The diverse selection of steaks and burgers makes it easy to return. Unusual dishes tempt you to try them. The crocodile steak is highly recommended, not just for dinosaur enthusiasts. The private dining areas create a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. A definite recommendation!

Great ambience and very good food

"Sade" Louisiana: a young female waitress in the dining room, in front of other male employees and visibly "corrected" in front of guests. I saw anger, insecurity, and humiliation. It makes me sad, I don't want that!

I visited Louisiana for the first time today and I'm absolutely thrilled. The value for money is fantastic, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent and attentive. The decor is very well chosen and inviting. It definitely won't be my last visit to this restaurant.

Always friendly even with just a small snack

Delicious, juicy steaks. There's a wide selection, including unique dishes. It closes at 9:00 PM on Sundays, but we were still able to finish our meal in peace. Unfortunately, the dessert wasn't good (the crunch on the cheesecake on the bottom almost broke my teeth, but the cream was excellent). Overall, a good steak restaurant with very good steaks.

We spontaneously visited there yesterday. I have to say that both the quality of the food and the service were very impressive. We'd be happy to come back anytime!

Good food, very tasty burger, but only comes with coltslaw as a side dish. Other sides have to be ordered separately, and then the price gets quite expensive. The atmosphere and service are also very good.

The burgers are really delicious – you can tell that quality matters. What bothers me a bit is that the only side dish included is coleslaw. If you want fries or other extras, for example, you have to order them separately – and that adds up to quite a bit of money. The atmosphere is super pleasant and the service is really friendly. You feel comfortable and well looked after. Overall, a great experience, but considering the price, you should keep the side dishes in mind.

The wait for the food was good, about 20 minutes. Of course, we received our drinks beforehand. The portion was more than generous and truly delicious. Definitely recommended. The service was also very friendly and accommodating.

The ambiance has changed for the better since our last visit. I particularly like the different design of the rooms. The staff is very friendly, albeit a bit chaotic, as two of our orders weren't recorded correctly, but this was quickly and professionally resolved to our complete satisfaction. The food tasted good, the potatoes were very spicy—you just have to like them (perhaps they should point this out more explicitly?), the burgers were good but could be improved. We liked the beef steak best. It was really cooked to perfection and very tasty. A criticism I expressed in my original review was immediately addressed by management. I thought the manager's phone response was great; thank you so much for that; it makes you feel taken seriously and valued as a guest!

Fantastic steakhouse with a great and extensive menu.

I ordered a 250g sirloin steak well done yet again and only got a 180g steak. The waiter then brought an extra piece, but it wasn't even remotely cooked, more like raw on the inside! The kitchen has seriously let itself down in this regard!

Highly recommended. We were there at 6 p.m., and despite a group of 80 people who had booked at Louisiana, we were able to sit outside and eat. We had tuna steak from the seasonal menu, and the food was fantastic. The service was really busy with the large group, as we weren't left unattended. High praise for that.

Both the food and service were good. As is customary for a steakhouse, the chef asked for the degree of doneness, and it was truly accurate. The meat was almost on point. The dishes were appropriately seasoned. The service was excellent and friendly, helping us immediately. The decor is a bit bold in places, but that's a matter of personal opinion. The value for money is recommended. The location is also good. Nice and close to the city center.

I felt very comfortable at Louisiana. The selected dishes—sweet chili spare ribs and fillet steak with baked potatoes—were excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. "Steakhouse" doesn't do the restaurant justice. It's more like "Southern cuisine." So the menu is a bit more unusual than the name suggests. I would go back.

A few days ago, the three of us went to Louisiana. All three meals were a delight, both visually and gustatorily. The Franconian wine recommendation was also very good. We would love to come back.

Very friendly service makes you feel completely at home. The food is of very high quality and tastes amazing. The pictures show the cheesesteak and the cheeseburger.

Can you recommend this place? Absolutely! We spent three days in Erfurt and had by far the best meal at Louisiana. Very confident but also understated service. The food took a while, but it was really good. The four rooms are all very differently decorated and have very different seating arrangements. If we ever visit Erfurt again, we will definitely come back.

We went to the Louisiana Steakhouse in Erfurt and I have to say, it was a real hit! The service was super friendly and quick, and we got a table outside right away. The food was simply delicious. We had the fried chicken burger (crispy and juicy), the Mississippi plate, and the rump steak with bacon and beans. The meat was perfectly prepared. An all-around successful lunch/afternoon that I can recommend to everyone!

If you want the 400-gram rump steak medium, you should order it well-done. Medium means you'll get a nearly raw lump of meat!

SOOOOOO...I was there yesterday for a BBQ with a handful of friends. And I have to say again and again...AWESOME!!!!!! We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. Then it all began...meat, fish...side dishes...fruit, vegetables...EVERYTHING was there! And everything was SUPER MEGA DELICIOUS!!! The beef brisket...the salmon...well, if you don't rave about it. I can recommend it to anyone! We would like to say a huge thank you to the entire team. And we will definitely be back!!!!

We ate at Louisiana for our wedding anniversary. Thanks to our reservation, we had a beautifully set table in white and red. The extremely friendly and attentive waiter accompanied us throughout the evening and fulfilled our every need with humor and attention. A definite plus. The food was, as expected, delicious and plentiful. You're happy to pay a little more for such good quality. We can recommend it without reservation.

Best Southern restaurant we've found in Germany so far. We'd go back anytime.

Unfortunately, the quality and portion size have declined drastically. Side dishes must be ordered and paid for separately. My meat was still completely raw inside (burger). Instead of an apology, I was told that this is normal with expensive meat. It's okay, but they could have asked beforehand whether I wanted a burger or a burger bun with raw ground beef. Unfortunately, I no longer recommend it.

I tried the Mississippi plate, it was great. Even the vegetables are well spiced. The service is very good.

The steak was made to perfection, the soup too salty but still quite OK, asparagus a bit undercooked. However the waiter was a disaster. Not unfriendly, just completely neutral, uselles and with a I-don't-care attitude. He never smiled... Not once! Forgot to bring drinks, never came back to ask if we needed anything. We had to go to the front to pay because getting the check was taking so long. For that reason alone, I would chose another place to spend 70+ Euro per person on a meal. Shame really, because the steak was good :(

What a steak! Mersteak isn't radio perfect. The side dishes are delicious, the sauces are superb, and the drinks are fantastic. We'd love to go back.

We were guests at the Lousiana yesterday and celebrated our wedding anniversary there. We received a warm welcome (as we have so often), and our table was beautifully set with a white tablecloth and candles (I mean, the other guests were a little jealous ;-)). As for dinner, the obligatory appetizer plate was served quickly. The main course was also served quickly, despite a larger group in the next room. I had a nice rump steak, and my wife had an entrecôte. Unfortunately, mine had a few tendons in it, but that's not the kitchen's fault, and it's normal for rump steak...so no problem. They even wanted to give me another piece as compensation, but to be honest, I was already quite full, and as I said, that's just how it is with rump steak, I knew that beforehand. Otherwise, thanks again for the lovely evening, and see you next time.

The Lousiana is highly recommended!

We were there today. A very nice atmosphere! The front dining room with a bar has a bit of a pub feel, while the other two rooms are more chic but also cozy. The "beer" garden is great. We were all very happy with our food and drinks...including the vegans 😉 ! My steak was great! We did have one small criticism, though: the salads (no matter which one) needed more seasoning and were quite watery! Otherwise, great. The service was exemplary!

I had onion steak. I think it would be good if the waiter asked when ordering how I prefer the onions and fried potatoes. The mojito was very good. The strawberry daiquiri could have had more pastoralized strawberries. Flavor was achieved here with strawberry syrup. I would still drink again. The ambience in the back area is modern and I liked it best. I can recommend the resteraunt.

We were craving a steak and found this place on Google Maps. It did not disappoint, the staff were friendly and kind, the food was delicious and there is a kid's menu. You can also ask for the menu in English. We had a great time and will definitely be going back for a special occasion.

I have eaten here a number of times and would love to come back. It has never disappointed me. I have had the kangaroo burger and the crocodile burger with sweet potato fries before and have not regretted it for a moment. My girlfriend recently had the BBQ spare ribs and she said it was delicious too. Furthermore, the service is friendly and they have fair prices. Enter into an authentic piece and slightly more modern at the back with a long fake fireplace behind glass. In the warmer months there is also a cozy outdoor terrace where you can relax. Highly recommended.
