There is only one point deducted because I wanted to eat a crocodile burger. Unfortunately the burgers were out. The replacement - a normal cheeseburger - was tasty, but not what I actually wanted.

Despite being fully booked last Saturday, we were still able to accommodate 2 people. Despite the obvious rush, the service staff were very courteous and friendly, the food was perfect! We will be happy to come back if we can find a place again.

The spare ribs are not recommended. Otherwise it's fine so far

I visited this steakhouse for the first time in 2019 and have been happy to come here ever since when I am in Erfurt (southern Upper Franconia). I've never been disappointed with my steaks. The bad reviews are incomprehensible to me. Reservation is recommended.

We decided to have dinner at Louisiana on Saturday. Service and ambience were very pleasant and the food was very good and plentiful.

We were there spontaneously on a Friday and got a table without a reservation. We were lucky because it was very full. We were immediately told that it might take a little longer, which was okay with us. The wait was worth it, the food was great. The waitress was very attentive, often came to the table and asked if everything was okay. In short, great food, great service, we can only recommend the restaurant.

It's incredibly rare that I don't have to add seasoning to my food. I didn't have to here. Super delicious food, nice service, nice ambience. I'd love to come back.

Absolute recommendation. Very friendly, attentive and fast staff. Drinks came immediately and I once again saw service staff with smiles. The Bourbon Cola was strong as I expect from a mix, not punched like in other restaurants but as if I had poured it myself. Very cool. The Mint Julep was also what I expect. Everything was crowned by the tender sweet chilli ribs with baked potatoes. I'm a big fan of ribs and make some myself in the slow cooker at home and I have to say I was more than thrilled. My friend had pasta with asparagus that was better than the Italian restaurant. Balanced good ingredients and taste balanced and perfectly coordinated. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent, fast, friendly service that I no longer know about and that on a Saturday at 10 p.m. :-)

As always, a great evening with delicious food and wonderful service. One star deducted for the ambience because the restaurant, which was full to the last seat, unfortunately continued to heat up and there was probably no ventilation or something similar. When it's beer garden weather, we'll be happy to come back and eat outside.

We were there once on a city trip. The ambience is really special and the service is first class. Unfortunately the food wasn't good. The sweet potato fries were burnt and therefore very dry. The meat didn't meet our expectations either. We wouldn't recommend it for the prices charged.

The food is ok, I had a cheese stick, I would have expected more for the course. I find the prices for drinks to be absolutely excessive... Even in Hamburg on the Alster, it's not price intensive.

If you're craving steak and burgers, you should stop by here! The dishes come to the table grilled to perfection and well seasoned. I ordered the Mississippi grill plate, a meat variation with corn and fried potatoes. You'll feel full afterwards! There must be room for dessert on the next visit😁.

We stopped by this restaurant spontaneously and were lucky to get a seat. I was really amazed at how perfectly, tender and pink the meat was cooked. Every bite is a pleasure😊 Great ambience and extremely attentive service rounded off our visit. We will definitely come back.

The "Louisiana" is an institution in Erfurt. Excellent food in a historic half-timbered house. Be sure to reserve in advance! The staff is busy - so it can take a little longer.

Large selection of different dishes, there is something for every palate. The food was exceptionally tasty for us, we haven't eaten this well in a long time. (I have never had such a delicious cream of asparagus soup.) The service/our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The entire ambience is also great, everything is well maintained and very clean. We had made reservations weeks before our trip and were warmly greeted. The service was very nice and patient because we couldn't really decide. The mixed starter platter and the main courses (fillet plate and crocodile steak) were very tasty. We will definitely make a reservation here again on our next visit to Erfurt!

If you like eating meat and an American atmosphere, this restaurant is in good hands. There are excellent steaks and burgers at absolutely reasonable prices. In addition, very courteous service who strives to ensure that the guest has a pleasant stay.

The food tasted good but was overpriced at over €20. The waiting time was a good hour.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't good, at first we waited three quarters of an hour for two people, then the steak was only lukewarm and I've never seen garlic bread like that before, thin normal bread slices with garlic slices on them, unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Everything perfect! Not just "standard burgers", also lesser-known American dishes. I can recommend the Creole potatoes as a side dish, I could have eaten them forever :)

Vorab: ich ziehe einen „Stern“ ab, weil ich finde, dass die Preise hier etwas zu sind. Das schmälert aber keineswegs die Qualität von Küche und Service. Die angebotenen Gerichte sind auch einfach mal eine Abwechslung zu dem sonst üblichen Angebot in Erfurt. Deshalb nämlich ist das Restaurant immer noch eine Empfehlung! Tipp: unbedingt das Jambalaya probieren!

The restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of the famous Krämerbrücke. Here you can find excellent food at reasonable prices and courteous service. The kitchen and bar also make customer requests beyond the menu possible. The ambience invites you to linger. However, you should make a reservation in advance, as all tables can often be occupied even during the week - a reservation is mandatory on the weekend.

Excellent service, once again confirmed our experiences from previous visits. All the employees are simply great. Food very tasty and large selection.

Went there for the first time and what can I say? Everything overall was top, food, service was top and the ambience was also top. Above all, Ms. Scharf is a very personable, friendly and courteous service person. Always my pleasure.

We were here on Valentine's Day and had the set menu, which was excellent. 4 courses, with 2 main courses to choose from, and a drink (usually wine) was served with each course. If you didn't want this, you could of course order something else. The employees were very friendly and accommodating, we liked the atmosphere and of course the food was extremely tasty! The toilet was a bit narrow, but clean and had a room fragrance dispenser, which I found very pleasant. Of course it was full on Valentine's Day, but I think that the Louisiana is also quite well attended and we will come back 😊👍🏼

We have been regular guests for years and love it there. Nothing is better than the ribs (at least for me🤭) I can recommend it to everyone 👌

The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very nice. I had the Mississippi plate. It was also very tasty but one of the pieces of beef (2 pieces of beef and 2 pieces of pork). It was so tough that I could barely stick a fork in it and had a hard time cutting it. Let alone chew it with pleasure. I couldn't eat 25% of the meat on the plate. I left the piece behind and told the waitress about the problem after eating. There was no response at all, other than telling me to pass it on to the kitchen. I'll be going somewhere else soon.

The restaurant is nice, well located and the staff is nice. The jambalaya and gumbo were disappointing though. Way too much rosemary and it almost tastes moldy. This has no place in either Creole or Cajun cuisine. At least not in quantity. A real Roux was probably not the basis for the gumbo. This should be revised. I wasn't able to try the other dishes, but they all looked pretty good.

We were very satisfied. The food was good and the service staff were friendly, attentive and competent. There is an extra children's menu and the waiting time was pleasantly short. All in all, the restaurant is recommended, although it is advisable to reserve in advance.

We always choose Louisiana for special days, like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. and visiting there is always something special. From the professional service to the feel-good atmosphere to the excellent food. Everything fits here. There is still one point of criticism this time. There was a guest sitting at a neighboring table who was watching and listening to a football game on his cell phone (without headphones). I found that inappropriate in this atmosphere.

The restaurant is recommended with a good selection of food and drinks. In my case, the staff was very attentive and did everything they could to make me happy. I had the ribs BBQ style. The taste was fine, but unfortunately they were a bit dry, but still fell off the bone well. It was just a shame that the kitchen had unfortunately left the silver skin on. As a griller and smoker, something like that hurts my soul. This can be done better.

Sehr leckeres Essen und super Service. Auf unsere kleine Familie wurde toll eingegangen. Es gab eine Kinderspeisekarte, Buntstifte um die Karte auszumalen, extra Besteck und ein Hochstuhl stand auch schon bereit. Behindertentoilette und Wickelraum vorhanden 👍

Wie immer super lecker! Wir waren mittags da, da war nicht viel los und die Kellnerin hat sich super um uns gekümmert. Sonderwünsche wurden umgesetzt ohne zu Murren. Das Restaurant ist weitestgehend barrierefrei. Am Eingang und zu manchen Tischen gibt es eine Stufe. Man kann aber auch durch den Hof ebenerdig rein kommen. Es gibt eine Behindertentoilette, in der sich auch eine Wickelmöglichkeit befindet. Wir haben beim Reservieren „mit Kinderwagen“ angegeben. Am Tisch stand dann schon ein Hochstuhl, Buntstifte und eine Kinderspeisekarte zum Ausmalen bereit.

Angenehmes Ambiente, leckere Speisen und gut organisierter Service. Wir kommen wieder!
