We really enjoyed the food. The waiters, almost all of them foreigners, were very friendly and attentive. In summer, it's a great place to bring children, as there's a garden with playground equipment.

Wer in gepflegter Atmosphäre sehr gut speisen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Besonders die Wild Speisen sind sehr empfehlenswert.

A restaurant with home-style cooking. The schnitzel with spiced meat was not good value for money; it was overpriced. The Steigerwald schnitzel was thinly pounded, and the fried potatoes at least had bacon, but unfortunately, they were almost cold compared to the schnitzel with mushrooms. The service was excellent, the food was filling, but unfortunately not worthy of a five-star rating.

A reservation is recommended. The food is a poem. Thank you for another great evening. Further addition: St. Martin's goose dinner is becoming a tradition for us. As delicious as they are prepared, the breast and leg taste simply great. I wouldn't order the menu with soup and chocolate cakes again. The goose is enough.

We only rate the restaurant. Super friendly service and very fast!!! Restaurant furnished in an uncomfortable and outdated manner. The food arrived after what felt like 5 minutes after we ordered. How does something like that work??!! Eat lukewarm, schnitzel well. Dry pork cheeks. Dumplings delicious!!! So we've eaten better there, but we won't eat there again in the future. What a shame!!?

The room was very modern and clean. What's not possible is the sink right in the room. You have to put all your utensils in the room. The shower and toilet do not offer any storage space. Separate toilet and shower only have a curtain that doesn't even go all the way to the top, so that the moisture gets into the living room/bedroom. Not even a small table to put down a glass if you want to sit down to read something. Poorly thought out concept in the division of the rooms. At the New Year's Eve party, wishes were ignored and almost only German titles were played. It's not easy to suit every taste, but it can be a little more varied. The buffet and service in the evening were impeccable. What is not possible is that you knock on the door of a guest who is already asleep at two o'clock in the morning to collect your tickets. The single bed room was right at the top of the stairs so you could hear everyone coming up the stairs late in the evening and couldn't even pick up the doorbell. In this room you could see part of the toilet from the bed because it was only half covered, height-width. The breakfast buffet on January 1st. was the last straw. There was only half of what you received the day before. The remaining sausage and cheese from the evening buffet, no sliced ​​sausage, salad, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, yogurt or other curds. Cereal is limited to milk and Kelloggs. The fact that the breakfast the day before, the New Year's Eve buffet and service, was modern and clean, and that we were waived off the price of the breakfast, means that the assessment is not that bad, but there are some deficiencies that should be reconsidered.

We ate here with the family. It was lunchtime on the weekend and very well attended. A reservation is therefore recommended. The service/operation was top. Friendly and always with a good saying on his lips. The drinks and food came quickly. The food is regional and typical of the region. The portions are completely sufficient. Some dishes even offer a senior portion on the menu. If you ask nicely, this is certainly available for the other dishes too. The price is absolutely correct in our opinion. Important: The food is very tasty. Conclusion: An all-round successful stay in a cozy atmosphere.

Wir waren heute am 1. Weihnachtstagsbrunch mit unserer Familie (8 Personen) mit vollen Erwartungen in ihrem Restaurant. Da wir schon viele Jahre sehr zufrieden waren, brunchen wir sehr gerne dort. Heute wurden wir des Besseren belehrt. Es war eine Katastrophe. Einfach nur grottenschlecht. Das Frühstück war nicht wie bisher. Zwar sehr abwechslungsreich aber auf kleinen Platz zusammen gerückt. Die Gäste haben angestanden, kein Platz vorbei zu gehen und dementsprechend waren auch die Angebote sehr schnell aus. Das Nachlegen ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Es dauerte alles viel zu lange. Dann kriege ich beim Abräumen ihres Personals das gebrauchte Besteck in den Rücken. Es hätte mir schon eine Entschuldigung ausgereicht, aber außer einem beschmutzten Pullover, passierte nichts. Aber das, was ich nie für möglich gehalten hätte, war das warme Buffet. Es wurde um 10.00 Uhr bereitgestellt. Da der Brunch aber im Allgemeinen mit dem Frühstück beginnt, wurde das warme Essen auch erst später beachtet. Das erste Bereitgestellte wurde dann in wenigen Minuten schnell aufgebraucht. (außer dem Nudelauflauf und teilweise dem Bohnengemüse). Auf das Auffüllen nur der Klöße dauerte gute 45 Minuten, von dem Braten ganz zu schweigen. Mehrere Gäste haben sich beschwert, Dann waren die Klöße nicht fertig gekocht, nicht zu genießen und der Entenbraten sah aus als ob die Reste aufgetragen wurden. Von einer Soße dazu keine Spur. Von meiner Familie haben nur 2. Personen von dem ersten Angebot essen können. Uns anderen 6 ist es vergangen. Beim Bezahlen habe ich der Bedienung, die wirklich super nett war, meine Enttäuschung mitgeteilt. So haben wir uns das Weihnachtsessen nicht vorgestellt. Und das alles für über 250.00 Euro Im Moment kann ich ihr Weihnachtbrunch nicht weiterempfehlen, so sehr bin ich enttäuscht und danke, dass Sie uns den Tag damit schön verdorben haben.

Wir sind sehr enttäuscht. Geworben wird mit "gemütlich und lecker", leider ist die Realität ganz anders. Der Saal hat beim Brunch die Lautstärke seines Mitropa Restaurants und das Büffet sehr mager ( kaum Wurst und Fisch, nur Rührei ) und die warmen Speisen zwar reichlich, aber Fleisch (Gans) sehr trocken und ohne Soße, Rotkohlgemüse gar nicht vorhanden, Klöße sehr fest. Es hat alles geschmeckt, wie Fertigware.

Cozy and well furnished. We really liked it. Something to discover and with lots of little details that inspire. The location is a bit out of the way but there is a bus stop right in front of the door and you can also reach everything by car.

Very nice small hotel with modern rooms and good beds. The breakfast was plentiful and good, as was the a ka carte dinner. A good location for hiking around Erfurt, but also for exploring the city. Gladly again!

Basically, the review only applies to the restaurant, the service and the food. We hadn't visited the hotel. Food wasn't good at all. The chicken steak was really disgusting and the hash browns with it weren't really any better. I would never go there again to eat. The staff was nice and helpful.

The inn is a large restaurant with several guest rooms. Unfortunately the staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests. We ordered for 9 people. There was a large company at the next table. The other rooms were also well filled. The first drawback is that the lighting constantly flickers and is very annoying. The order went pretty well but we had to wait over an hour for our food. The food was delicious and the price was okay. But it just took too long. You could also have asked more often about the drinks.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms. We have now been here twice in 3 months. Once alone as a couple for lunch during the week. The second time was on Sunday for lunch (for seven) with children. Very friendly service for the first time. Very tasty food, schnitzel dishes for €14 price/performance absolutely TOP. Ordered a table, the wish to sit on a bench was not possible because the baby chair would be in the way. At the front there was a huge empty room unused for brunch. No flexibility. Our food order took a little longer due to our handicap. Service came 3* and was then annoyed as to whether they could finally take the order. That was uncomfortable and embarrassing for us. Chicken steak for about 18 euros, a small piece of dry meat with no taste despite the visible marinade. Carelessly done. Potato thalers looked like they hadn't been prepared themselves. A mini portion nestled on boring, tasteless peas. Schnitzel very light and tasteless, fried potatoes totally soggy. The question about a baby portion was probably awkward, but the answer was interesting: We pre-cook everything and wrap everything in foil and warm it up again with steam, so we can't change the portions. We make the schnitzel fresh. That's exactly how it tasted. Reheated mashed potatoes. Thick, salty sauce. Not tasty. By far the worst meal we have had in a restaurant. And we were four adults. The schnitzel was canceled and we were given a friendly farewell. It was supposed to be a special day before we left our kids and it really ruined our day. We find this very disappointing because your prices and portfolio reveal quality that we were not able to experience. Not even the coffee was good. The obligatory biscuit was also missing. The cobwebs in the toilets and empty soap containers at 12 noon would have needed attention. What was good? The bread was toasted and the cranberry jam with the game soup, which was good, the red cabbage was OK, the friendly but not flexible service in the morning. We would have liked to have just had a coffee and bought a croissant from the breakfast buffet as we had to wait for our guests and didn't want to start eating beforehand. That wasn't possible, only complete buffet 12.50 + coffee extra 3.90. You go into the kitchen and think about a price for coffee and croissants and make the customer happy. Unfortunately we cannot recommend you. It's a shame, 80 euros for being completely fed up.

At first glance it looked really good, great marinade - but inside it was still gooey and not really cooked through. Unfortunately we couldn't eat it that way and had to return it. While clearing up the waitress was informed about it and asked to tell it to the chef. We are still waiting for an apology today. Communication was difficult when clearing the plates. The cook later said that he had seen it but unfortunately showed no insight. When we left, we brought it up again, whereupon a lady at the reception told us that the chicken had been in the oven for two hours and was done. When we then said that we hadn't waited two hours for the food, there was silence in the room. What a shame!

Unfortunately, your own stove is worth its weight in gold. Breakfast was plentiful and good. But the lunchtime sauce, which had quite a small selection, was made with ready-made sauce that was soggy and too salty. The red cabbage is not cooked with onions, bacon and apple but just cooked until slightly soft from the can. But the waitresses were very friendly and attentive so you didn't miss anything.

Today we ate as a family at the Gasthof Hubertus. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The atmosphere was more bad than good. The service was very taciturn and very unsure about everything. You had to wait a long time until the waitress was back at the table and you could order more drinks. The food was okay, but we have eaten better elsewhere. The outdoor area with playground is a disaster. Not inviting for the little guests. The playground urgently needs to be renovated. Some play equipment is closed off or cannot be used because it breaks. There is no swing, although there is scaffolding and the seesaw is also very questionable. So, we definitely won't come again, not worth a visit. It's a shame because the inn definitely has more potential.

Auf der Rückfahrt nach Berlin haben wir im Gasthof Schloß Hubertus zum Essen mit unseren Motorrädern angehalten. Angenehm schon, das Bikerparkplätze vor dem Haus waren. Auch mit voller Montur wurden wir sehr freundlich aufgenommen und Bedient. Das Essen, Wildgulasch und Schnitzel war lecker und seinen Preis absolut wert. Wir kamen am späten Nachmittag gegen 15 Uhr an und haben ohne Problem aus der kompletten Speisekarte auswählen können. Für uns eine glatte 1 und für Biker empfehlenswert.

We were there for a celebration in the summer and had a banquet. Really very pretty. The atmosphere is well maintained and clean (including the toilet!). The food was very tasty. But unfortunately the hotel does not have air conditioning in the dining areas, which would be urgently needed in the hot summer months. We were soaking wet with sweat. On slightly cooler days it is certainly easier to bear and you can enjoy the food to the fullest.

My room was set up in such a way that the sink was not in the bathroom, but directly in the room, very clearly visible through the window. In combination with the scaffolding that ran directly in front of the window and the fact that there were no translucent curtains in the room, but only either total blackout or a blank window, it was obviously unpleasant, especially for women. At the reception I was asked how I liked the hotel. You always think: Does she really want to know this or is it just an empty phrase. I assumed the first, but in fact it was the second. The lady at the reception (not the boss, but a dark-haired lady) was very knowledgeable about fashion and psychology and reprimanded me accordingly: curtains are extremely unfashionable and she always knows exactly where her craftsmen are and also that there are none The craftsman who works on this scaffolding is a peeping Tom! She could have said directly, "Customers are not our immediate priority right now," but of course that's how it works. When I ordered the room, I also noted that I didn't want breakfast and had this confirmed again the evening before when I arrived. It was written on the invoice and couldn't be undone. In the style of the answer above: “I can still have breakfast”. But I didn't want to, otherwise I wouldn't have noted it like that. I also had a schedule. Conclusion: Never again.

Wanted to enjoy good German cuisine after hiking. The working atmosphere there doesn't seem to be the best and the staff lets you feel that too. The food is okay, but not worth recommending. Junior had dumpling with sauce, but the sauce was more like a brown pudding, but he liked the dumpling. The Schnitzel Hawaii is ok for the price, but the fries are neither outstanding nor plentiful. The schnitzel with seasoned meat and cheese gratinated wasn't worth the €10 more. Unfortunately, the outdoor area/playground is no longer up to date and in some cases not recommended. Overall, there is a lot of room for improvement in every respect.

Wollten nach dem Wandern gute deutsche Küche genießen. Das Betriebsklima scheint dort nicht das beste zu sein und das lässt einen das Personal auch spüren. Das Essen ist okay, aber keine Empfehlung wert. Junior hatte Kloß mit Soße, die Soße war aber mehr ein brauner Pudding, der Kloß hat ihm aber geschmeckt. Das Schnitzel Hawaii ist für den Preis ok, die Pommes aber weder herausragend noch reichlich. Das Schnitzel mit Würzfleisch und Käse überbacken war die 10 € mehr aber auch nicht wert. Die Außenanlage/Spielplatz ist leider auch nicht mehr auf dem neuesten Stand und teilweise nicht zu empfehlen. Im Großen und Ganzen sehr viel Luft nach oben in jeder Beziehung.

We were guests for 2 nights. Actually not a bad choice. We thought so. But unfortunately we had a room facing the street. You had the feeling of sleeping right next to the highway. Sleeping with a window wasn't possible because the room was extremely warm. Only a fan from the ceiling brought a slightly better climate and the cold. Otherwise the room was well equipped and clean. Breakfast was manageable but ok. Well, baked rolls from the discount store are not mine. The staff was, in some cases, very hard working. In the evening we went to the beer garden and ordered a cocktail 🍸. It was so bad that we had to eat outside. Especially since the waitress' answer when our child asked for a drinking straw was to take one from your parents. Well, what should you evaluate now? Everyone has to decide for themselves; a second time we prefer another place to stay.

We were invited to dinner there while visiting Erfurt. The interior is sterile and the room is clad in dark wood, which was absolutely comfortable for me. It reminded me of the old corner pub. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and so my aunt, who ate venison sauerbraten, asked if she would like more sauce. We ordered schnitzel and were more than satisfied. The food was super tasty and all the ingredients were fresh, which you could also taste. We were completely thrilled and can only recommend the Gadthof to everyone.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and wasn't overly impressed. It's not that it's a bad hotel overall, I just think it's poorly thought out for me personally. But to start with the staff is friendly and there is very personal attention. The food in the restaurant is really good, fresh and very good value for money. Unfortunately, the hotel is on a busy street, which can lead to significant disruptions to the peace and quiet even at night when you open the window. Since I like to sleep with the window open and it was summer, I really had problems. Overall, the room is very chic and furnished in a great country house style. Unfortunately for me, the way it works with the light that you can't turn it off from the bed is incomprehensible, as well as a bed directly against the wall facing the sloping roof that you can't put your feet up on. My first night was therefore filled with little sleep and the second night I had to break off at midnight and then drive home. The bed is just too small and the sloping ceiling and height make it difficult to sleep. There is a separate shower and toilet, which I think is very nice and the sanitary furniture is really great. However, I won't come there again because my sleep is really important to me. Oh, I can say that breakfast is really small and manageable, which isn't a bad thing for me because I don't really have much breakfast. I would have expected a little more. Nevertheless, I don't want to advise against this hotel, I just want to say that it's not for me.
