Quiet, clean and extremely friendly staff.

We had actually booked the fireplace room. Instead, we ate in a huge hall. The menu was clearly laid out and offered no surprises or culinary delights. In the end, the schnitzels were all different sizes and of frozen quality. Absolutely outrageous for the price. Any fast-food place offers better value. The food was bottom-of-the-barrel and came with very few side dishes for the price. The service was neither good nor bad. This establishment can only be recommended to people with very low standards of taste. We arrived at the Hubertus hungry and left hungry and disappointed.

We were completely won over by the Gasthaus Schloss Hubertus! We were a large group, had an entire floor to ourselves, and ate dinner there twice. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and charmingly furnished. It's a wonderful blend of old and new. Fantastic! The food was also highly recommended, especially the game dishes, which were absolutely amazing. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and catered to our every need. We'll definitely be back! Erfurt's historic city center is just a short drive away.

Traditional German cuisine is served in a rustic setting. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and you feel welcome as a guest. The prices are reasonable. The parking lot is directly in front of the restaurant and very easy to access.

We wanted to spend a pleasant evening with good food and drinks and then drift off to a peaceful sleep in our room later! Upon checking in, I was ignored, not even noticed, and the staff were grumpy and unmotivated. Constantly contradicting myself, having the last word. We waited a long time for service; the staff seemed completely overwhelmed. The food was good and plentiful. The restaurant closed at 10:00 PM, not exactly polite. There was no hotel bar, so we had a nightcap in our room. Breakfast was no better. A container was only refilled upon request or notification. The staff seemed completely annoyed, and they let the guests know it! Total stars: 0.25

Incredibly unfriendly staff, very pushy and impersonal (almost came across as "too arrogant for us"). On top of that, the schnitzels were terrible, including incredibly tough meat. You wait a good hour, whether you want a schnitzel or just a salad. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied and won't be going back. I wouldn't recommend it! I would give fewer stars if possible, because this restaurant isn't even worth a single star!

To be blunt, I would never stay here again. I stayed at this hotel while traveling from Poland to the Netherlands. The room size was adequate, but the layout was highly uncomfortable—there was only a curtain separating the shower from the bed. Whoever designed this should seriously reconsider their understanding of architecture. Additionally, the window curtains do not fully block out the light, so in the summer, sunlight pours in early in the morning. Since my room faced a road, traffic noise was also an issue. If you're sensitive to noise, I recommend avoiding this place. Other than that, everything else was fairly average.

Hey guys! Even though Glatti couldn't wait tables because the manager of the Erfurt youth hostel locked him in the broom closet, I'd like to review the restaurant. Factually, neutrally, and unfactually and unneutrally. So: - My friend and I were wearing everyday clothes and were too dirty for the staff inside, so we were sent out onto the terrace with a condescending smile. - We were served by three Chinese women (without a double bass) who had difficulty understanding German at A1 level, but still smiled kindly. - One waitress brought us our menus again after we had chosen our food (not a Chinese woman), which I found very suspicious. - Another waitress threw a glass at a child and then dutifully swept up the broken pieces. - The food was vegan and gluten-free, definitely edible, even though the Chinese waitress looked at our plates doubtfully every few seconds. - BUT: the risotto wasn't stirred. - The drink bottle was half empty or half full; I suspect one waitress took a sip. We went to brunch on June 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. Unfortunately, the buffet wasn't fully set up yet, and for the price of €28.50 per person, it was very meager. Half of the hot buffet was uneatable. I haven't had such a bad meal in a long time. I wouldn't recommend Hubertus. The service staff were very nice, but they couldn't make up for the sad surroundings.

We had a wonderful evening as a family. The food was truly delicious and, above all, at a great price. Some restaurants could learn a thing or two from that. The playground for the little one and Susi as an attraction are simply fantastic. We'd love to come back.

I've never experienced anything so unfriendly and poorly organized. We were escorted to our seats without a "good day" or "please follow." After that, no one was responsible for the six of us. After half an hour, we had to get our tickets ourselves. And even then, no one felt responsible. After an hour, we simply left, and even when we handed in our tickets, we were ignored.

We reserved a table for six, were politely shown to a table, and that was it. After half an hour, we asked for a menu, which was also handed to us rather rudely. After another half hour of waiting without anyone coming to see us, we left. A disaster.

Not really a star. Despite having a reservation, no one felt responsible for us. My family and I wanted to have dinner there and had made a reservation in advance. We arrived in groups. The first three were brought to our tables with a meager greeting. Neither the menu nor the request for drinks found their way to us. The second group wasn't even brought to our tables and had to find their own way. Then we waited 35 minutes to get our menus ourselves. The waitress handed them out, rather hesitantly and awkwardly. But no one felt responsible for that either. Even after another 20 minutes, no conditions were met, and our hunger and anger grew, so we went to another restaurant. As we were leaving, we heard the chef say, "Oh, cool, they're leaving." I'll leave it open what he meant by that... I'm appalled.

Absolutely! We were hiking and ended up at Hubertus. The beer garden is fantastic. To our surprise, the Crazys Big Band played on May 1st. It was a fantastic atmosphere. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

The Gasthaus Schloss Hubertus is a great location for celebrating weddings. The stylishly designed guest room is perfect for spending lovely hours with families and friends and celebrating exuberantly. The staff at the inn are always friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks are also delicious. The wedding party that started in the evening was also a complete success. All guests had a lot of fun and were perfectly looked after thanks to the always present but never intrusive service team!

A restaurant with home-style cooking. The schnitzel with spiced meat was not good value for money; it was overpriced. The Steigerwald schnitzel was thinly pounded, and the fried potatoes at least had bacon, but unfortunately, they were almost cold compared to the schnitzel with mushrooms. The service was excellent, the food was filling, but unfortunately not worthy of a five-star rating.

We only rate the restaurant. Super friendly service and very fast!!! Restaurant furnished in an uncomfortable and outdated manner. The food arrived after what felt like 5 minutes after we ordered. How does something like that work??!! Eat lukewarm, schnitzel well. Dry pork cheeks. Dumplings delicious!!! So we've eaten better there, but we won't eat there again in the future. What a shame!!?

The room was very modern and clean. What's not possible is the sink right in the room. You have to put all your utensils in the room. The shower and toilet do not offer any storage space. Separate toilet and shower only have a curtain that doesn't even go all the way to the top, so that the moisture gets into the living room/bedroom. Not even a small table to put down a glass if you want to sit down to read something. Poorly thought out concept in the division of the rooms. At the New Year's Eve party, wishes were ignored and almost only German titles were played. It's not easy to suit every taste, but it can be a little more varied. The buffet and service in the evening were impeccable. What is not possible is that you knock on the door of a guest who is already asleep at two o'clock in the morning to collect your tickets. The single bed room was right at the top of the stairs so you could hear everyone coming up the stairs late in the evening and couldn't even pick up the doorbell. In this room you could see part of the toilet from the bed because it was only half covered, height-width. The breakfast buffet on January 1st. was the last straw. There was only half of what you received the day before. The remaining sausage and cheese from the evening buffet, no sliced ​​sausage, salad, boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, yogurt or other curds. Cereal is limited to milk and Kelloggs. The fact that the breakfast the day before, the New Year's Eve buffet and service, was modern and clean, and that we were waived off the price of the breakfast, means that the assessment is not that bad, but there are some deficiencies that should be reconsidered.

We ate here with the family. It was lunchtime on the weekend and very well attended. A reservation is therefore recommended. The service/operation was top. Friendly and always with a good saying on his lips. The drinks and food came quickly. The food is regional and typical of the region. The portions are completely sufficient. Some dishes even offer a senior portion on the menu. If you ask nicely, this is certainly available for the other dishes too. The price is absolutely correct in our opinion. Important: The food is very tasty. Conclusion: An all-round successful stay in a cozy atmosphere.

Wir waren heute am 1. Weihnachtstagsbrunch mit unserer Familie (8 Personen) mit vollen Erwartungen in ihrem Restaurant. Da wir schon viele Jahre sehr zufrieden waren, brunchen wir sehr gerne dort. Heute wurden wir des Besseren belehrt. Es war eine Katastrophe. Einfach nur grottenschlecht. Das Frühstück war nicht wie bisher. Zwar sehr abwechslungsreich aber auf kleinen Platz zusammen gerückt. Die Gäste haben angestanden, kein Platz vorbei zu gehen und dementsprechend waren auch die Angebote sehr schnell aus. Das Nachlegen ließ auch zu wünschen übrig. Es dauerte alles viel zu lange. Dann kriege ich beim Abräumen ihres Personals das gebrauchte Besteck in den Rücken. Es hätte mir schon eine Entschuldigung ausgereicht, aber außer einem beschmutzten Pullover, passierte nichts. Aber das, was ich nie für möglich gehalten hätte, war das warme Buffet. Es wurde um 10.00 Uhr bereitgestellt. Da der Brunch aber im Allgemeinen mit dem Frühstück beginnt, wurde das warme Essen auch erst später beachtet. Das erste Bereitgestellte wurde dann in wenigen Minuten schnell aufgebraucht. (außer dem Nudelauflauf und teilweise dem Bohnengemüse). Auf das Auffüllen nur der Klöße dauerte gute 45 Minuten, von dem Braten ganz zu schweigen. Mehrere Gäste haben sich beschwert, Dann waren die Klöße nicht fertig gekocht, nicht zu genießen und der Entenbraten sah aus als ob die Reste aufgetragen wurden. Von einer Soße dazu keine Spur. Von meiner Familie haben nur 2. Personen von dem ersten Angebot essen können. Uns anderen 6 ist es vergangen. Beim Bezahlen habe ich der Bedienung, die wirklich super nett war, meine Enttäuschung mitgeteilt. So haben wir uns das Weihnachtsessen nicht vorgestellt. Und das alles für über 250.00 Euro Im Moment kann ich ihr Weihnachtbrunch nicht weiterempfehlen, so sehr bin ich enttäuscht und danke, dass Sie uns den Tag damit schön verdorben haben.

Wir sind sehr enttäuscht. Geworben wird mit "gemütlich und lecker", leider ist die Realität ganz anders. Der Saal hat beim Brunch die Lautstärke seines Mitropa Restaurants und das Büffet sehr mager ( kaum Wurst und Fisch, nur Rührei ) und die warmen Speisen zwar reichlich, aber Fleisch (Gans) sehr trocken und ohne Soße, Rotkohlgemüse gar nicht vorhanden, Klöße sehr fest. Es hat alles geschmeckt, wie Fertigware.

Very nice small hotel with modern rooms and good beds. The breakfast was plentiful and good, as was the a ka carte dinner. A good location for hiking around Erfurt, but also for exploring the city. Gladly again!

Basically, the review only applies to the restaurant, the service and the food. We hadn't visited the hotel. Food wasn't good at all. The chicken steak was really disgusting and the hash browns with it weren't really any better. I would never go there again to eat. The staff was nice and helpful.

Cozy restaurant with historical charm without nostalgic kitsch, excellent Thuringian cuisine and home-style cooking in generous portions - probably cooked by yourself. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms. We have now been here twice in 3 months. Once alone as a couple for lunch during the week. The second time was on Sunday for lunch (for seven) with children. Very friendly service for the first time. Very tasty food, schnitzel dishes for €14 price/performance absolutely TOP. The second time, friendly service, but much more stressed, the restaurant was well filled. Food was TOP again. The inn is a large restaurant with several guest rooms. Unfortunately the staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests. We ordered for 9 people. There was a large company at the next table. The other rooms were also well filled. The first drawback is that the lighting constantly flickers and is very annoying. The order went pretty well but we had to wait over an hour for our food. The food was delicious and the price was okay. But it just took too long. You could also have asked more often about the drinks.

Ordered a table, the wish to sit on a bench was not possible because the baby chair would be in the way. At the front there was a huge empty room unused for brunch. No flexibility. Our food order took a little longer due to our handicap. Service came 3* and was then annoyed as to whether they could finally take the order. That was uncomfortable and embarrassing for us. Chicken steak for about 18 euros, a small piece of dry meat with no taste despite the visible marinade. Carelessly done. Potato thalers looked like they hadn't been prepared themselves. A mini portion nestled on boring, tasteless peas. Schnitzel very light and tasteless, fried potatoes totally soggy. The question about a baby portion was probably awkward, but the answer was interesting: We pre-cook everything and wrap everything in foil and warm it up again with steam, so we can't change the portions. We make the schnitzel fresh. That's exactly how it tasted. Reheated mashed potatoes. Thick, salty sauce. Not tasty. By far the worst meal we have had in a restaurant. And we were four adults. The schnitzel was canceled and we were given a friendly farewell. It was supposed to be a special day before we left our kids and it really ruined our day. We find this very disappointing because your prices and portfolio reveal quality that we were not able to experience. Not even the coffee was good. The obligatory biscuit was also missing. The cobwebs in the toilets and empty soap containers at 12 noon would have needed attention. What was good? The bread was toasted and the cranberry jam with the game soup, which was good, the red cabbage was OK, the friendly but not flexible service in the morning. We would have liked to have just had a coffee and bought a croissant from the breakfast buffet as we had to wait for our guests and didn't want to start eating beforehand. That wasn't possible, only complete buffet 12.50 + coffee extra 3.90. You go into the kitchen and think about a price for coffee and croissants and make the customer happy. Unfortunately we cannot recommend you. It's a shame, 80 euros for being completely fed up.
