Highly recommended – we'd love to come back! I honestly don't fully understand some of the recent reviews – especially the criticism that they no longer serve burgers. Of course, that's a matter of taste, but the current menu, with dishes like roulades and fresh asparagus, is a welcome departure from the usual mass-produced fare you can find elsewhere. And it should also be said that you can eat burgers anywhere. There are enough restaurants in the city for that. The food here is clearly high-quality and freshly prepared – you can taste it! Unfortunately, many restaurants just reheat food, but here the food is cooked with quality and love. Whether it's the fresh schnitzel or the excellently prepared asparagus – you can immediately tell the difference. The sauce was also homemade and definitely not from a carton – a huge plus! The portions are generous, especially compared to some other restaurants. The value for money is absolutely spot on. A big compliment also to the service team: friendly, attentive, and welcoming – we felt completely at home. Thank you for your great work – we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful spot by the lake. My meal, "schnitzel with spiced meat and croquettes," was probably from the freezer. I don't need to go to a restaurant for that. The beer was fresh and tasty. The service was quite nice.

Everything absolutely perfect. The wild garlic cream soup was perfect in terms of consistency and spice and the pasta with the fresh champions was just great. Thank you for the delicious 😋 food.

Why are the burgers or homemade fries no longer available? Very unfortunate. I can also eat roulades with dumplings elsewhere.

We really liked the restaurant, but since a new owner took over the beach property we have been a bit disappointed. The menu has been changed so that there are no longer any burgers. Some other dishes were also deleted. Instead of these, there are now schnitzel and dumpling dishes.

To be honest, I'm really disappointed. We have heard and read a lot of good things. However, I cannot confirm this. I had specially reserved a table. 3 p.m. was agreed. When we arrived we were told that the reservation was for 9:30 a.m. Well, it can happen. We chose a table outside because it was very hot inside due to the high outside temperature. Unfortunately, the table was right next to the toilets and the air conditioning compressor for the kitchen. You could easily catch a glimpse of the lake with your head raised. Unfortunately there were no parasols or a sun sail here. The sun was burning like crazy. We were also informed at reception that it would not be possible to order food for the next hour. Only drinks or ice cream would be possible. We were really looking forward to the meal and of course we were hungry. But waiting an hour was not an option for us in the heat and blazing sun. So I only had a non-alcoholic cocktail and a small ice cream for my partner. The whole thing for just under 18€. The service was friendly. Totally frustrated, we looked for another place to eat. Too bad

We always enjoyed going to this location because, above all, the location is beautiful. That hasn't changed either. You simply have a fantastic view. An awning would be an advantage, as you can sit in the best places right by the water in the blazing sun, which can be very unbearable, especially in midsummer. What really disappointed us, however, is the new menu. We were really looking forward to the burgers and classics. Both divisions were completely eliminated. There are now schnitzel dishes, roulade and asparagus. The schnitzels themselves were tasty and of high quality, but the side dishes were extremely sparse (the salad consisted of a lettuce leaf and a spoonful of asparagus salad, there were five croquettes and no sauce or anything like that). Very disappointing for the high price. You also had to wait a relatively long time for drinks and food, even though it wasn't completely full. The service overall wasn't particularly good either. We are very sad because we won't be coming back, at least for dinner.

With this café, the lake has really gained a lot of flair. No matter whether summer or winter, the view from the lakeside terrace is great. Here you can comfortably drink coffee, end the day at sunset or sip cocktails in the evening. With the Strandgut 33 there is one more reason to come back to Stotternheim again and again. Update August 2023: On every visit home, a trip to the flotsam and jetsam is at the top of the list. And every time you don't want to leave. 🥰😍 Easter 2025 Every year we regularly visit our hometowns.

We were here for lunch, the service was very polite and looked after us well, I ordered a burger and was pleasantly surprised, the burger was very tasty. As a side dish there were homemade fries which were really very tasty. There is also a nice atmosphere, all in all really recommended.

Super cozy and modern in the middle of the lake and enjoy a drink or meal. 🙃 Absolutely recommended. Reservation required! Unfortunately very overpriced and the service is rarely seen… but the food is delicious.

We spent a girls' night there and it was wonderful. The ambience and the area are simply beautiful, you think for a short time that you are on vacation. The food was ready quickly and delicious. The service was friendly and accommodating. That wasn't our last visit there.

A very nice restaurant located right on the lake. Lots of seating with a lake view but please reserve when the weather is nice. Rarely have we eaten anything so delicious, everything was freshly prepared and we even baked the buns for the burgers ourselves. Service is a bit inattentive. Lots of people stand at the bar and chat. The cocktails are recommended. That's what I call a cocktail. Keep it up

We wanted to end our evening and drove here specifically. The ambience was wonderful as always. Luckily we had reservations. But aside from cocktails, I was still craving a Belgian waffle. And unfortunately I was very disappointed with it. Visually it looked like it was homemade, but at the first bite you could tell that it was just a warmed-up finished product. She was hard and cold very quickly. Instead of whipped cream, there was cheap spray cream that quickly collapsed. And 7.90 euros is simply too much for that. The cocktails were ok.

We were here with a larger group shortly before the kitchen closed without a reservation. After a short consultation with the kitchen, we were able to sit down and eat. That worked really well and we were able to end our day on a great note. Thanks for that. But please tell the young man (waiter) that he doesn't need to scream like that. That was a bit tiring ;-)

We were there for breakfast with 6 people. Great ambience, very friendly service, the rolls were baked rolls from the discount stores, sausage and cheese were ok, but also simple quality, scrambled eggs with bacon were delicious, coffee costs extra so it costs over €20 per person. I find it very excessive for the quality of the food.

We were a group of about 15 people, 2 minutes after we were seated a gentleman from the service came who gave the impression of being the "boss" in the restaurant and wanted to take the drink requests, I told him that most people don't know what yet They want to drink because we are sharing 2 cards with 15 people at the moment and many of them haven't had a chance to look at the menu yet. He then put on a clearly noticeable annoyed expression on his face, but he didn't come up with the idea of ​​bringing us a few extra cards. Ambiance: the restaurant has a great location as it is built on a jetty above the lakeshore, you have a great view over the lake. However, a suggestion to the local operator would be to install sun protection. As beautiful as the low sun is on a summer evening, it shines really hard in your face and you can hardly look out of your eyes, so you are blinded. Conclusion: Unfortunately, it is all too common that when a restaurant has an attractive location, this leads to the restaurant owners not making the greatest effort because the guests come in large numbers anyway because of the location. The relationship between price and quality was not balanced and the boss's behavior was substandard.

Unfortunately, a super unfriendly boss who also folded up his employee in front of all the other guests. He was also very rude to our child. Food mediocre. The look is just nice. But would never go there again as the prices are very high and the service is not good.

As nice as the ambience is, unfortunately the food and drinks weren't. There was a rotten, dark lettuce leaf in the salad. The pasta only tasted like salty noodles - the little bit of sauce that was there was like a soup. The Caipirinha almost only tasted like sugar - we were really disappointed. As beautiful as it is there - we won't be coming back.

Yesterday - over 30 degrees - we unfortunately noticed that in a negative way There are no fans in the glass house. This was an imposition, you felt like you were in a greenhouse. As a remedy, we used the menu cards as compartments, but these were then taken away from us. Although there were plenty of other cards and I asked to keep them because of the heat. With the statement “Other guests would also like to order something”. That's true, but it was the part about advertising t-shirts that I think could have been left out. In addition, the drinks didn't cool down because they were lukewarm. The older lady who served us wasn't really polite or accommodating. Maybe this flotsam and jetsam should open in winter rather than summer. So that the employees don't seem so overwhelmed. At these prices, you might want to reconsider your concept. We have often noticed something negative, but yesterday was another lesson for us not to give your restaurant another chance.

We had reserved a table for Saturday, originally outside. Since it started to rain, we were called 20 minutes in advance to say that we didn't need to come anymore (of course we were already in the car and on the way), because they didn't have a table available for us inside. Since it was a bachelor party and we also had tickets for an event taking place at Lake Alperstedter, we were standing there, in the rain, without a restaurant, just before the reservation. I've never experienced anything like that before and it was definitely the first and last reservation there. You should take an example from other restaurants that also keep indoors open for reservations if the weather is too bad for outside and don't offend their guests like that.

We love this restaurant right on the lake. The ambience, the peace and quiet, the food and the super nice and friendly service are simply great. Almost all wishes are fulfilled, you really feel at home here. The music isn't too loud and there's a really relaxed playlist playing at Strandgut 33. We think it's really nice that you can now reserve online. The menu is small but nice and there's something for everyone, whether it's breakfast, coffee or dinner. The wine selection could be better. We definitely recommend you to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hello, we discovered Strandgut by chance on a motorcycle tour and were absolutely thrilled by the great ambience, the friendly service and of course the really delicious food. The price level is certainly a little higher, but you also get added value in terms of quality! We were there for the second time this year and included this cool location in our tour again. We came for dinner as a group of 6 people and were warmly welcomed. The food was basically very tasty, but unfortunately a few things were missing, which meant that two of us had to decide against the actual dish they actually wanted to eat. Unfortunately there was only mayo and ketchup. These fries deserve their own homemade sauce. A bit remote and probably that's why it's so expensive. Always my pleasure.

Essen, Location, Service - alles top 👍🏻 Anscheinend so gut, dass man ohne Reservierung kaum eine Chance hat, spontan reinzukommen. Wer ein Problem damit hat, hier generell geduzt zu werden, sollte nicht hierher kommen oder sich darüber beschweren.

Wir waren kurzentschlossen dort, um etwas zu essen. Da es sehr voll war, bat uns die Bedienung uns noch etwas zu gedulden. Sie reservierte uns dann einen Tisch und hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Service ging dann ganz schnell und unser Essen stand nach kurzer Zeit auf dem Tisch. Es war mega lecker. Habe lange nicht mehr so gut gespeist. Hier kommen wir mit Freude gerne wieder her.

Mehr als „nur“ eine Empfehlung! Top Lokation, sehr gutes Essen (frisch und sehr schmackhaft, mit einer Portion Kreativität), Service außergewöhnlich (mega nett, humorvoll und kompetent) und Ambiente loungeartig. Etwas außerhalb (ca 20 Fahrminuten) von Erfurt gelegen >>> für den Ausblick auf den See eine Ausfahrt wert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder 😘

Da gibt's nicht viel hinzuzufügen. Ich würde auch 10 Sterne geben,aber geht ja nur bis fünf. Ich benötigte einen anderen Stuhl,Zack war er da. Man muß bedenken wo man sitzt, schließlich zählt bei mir nicht nur das Essen oder das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sondern eben auch das Ambiente. Wer auf dieser Speisekarte nichts passendes findet sollte zu Hause bleiben und sich ein Leberwurstbrötchen schmieren.

Leider hochnäsig bis zum Geht nicht mehr! Vom ganzen Lokal nur 3 Tische besetzt. Waren um 14 Uhr da und haben höflich gefragt ob sie noch einen Tisch für 4 Personen zum Kaffeetrinken hätten. Die junge Dame schlägt das Reservierungsbuch auf und man sieht, dass es ab 17 Uhr viele Reservierungen gibt, aber uns wird abgesagt, obwohl wir keine 3 Stunden zum Kaffeetrinken brauchen würden. Auf meinen Einwand hin, dass es bei uns ja nur ums Kaffeetrinken geht, sagte der junge Mann, der wohl dafür zuständig war, dass es sie aber unter Druck setzen würde und es deshalb nicht ginge. Werden wir nicht mehr besuchen!

Super Lage am Alperstedter See, super Service und wirklich sehr gutes Essen.

Wir haben einen unvergesslichen Abend mit Sonnenuntergang bei lecker Essen und Cocktails verbracht. Besonders möchten wir den perfekten Service hervorheben und dem jungen Mann danken, der uns die Cocktails mixte und dabei auf unsere Wünsche einging. Er war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Ein Vollblutkellner. Wir hoffen, dass der Zuspruch zum Restaurant lange erhalten bleibt . Kleiner Tipp: besser vorher reservieren.

Eine Idylle, man kommt in eine andere Welt, sobald man die Planken der Terrasse betritt. Verwöhnprogramm für die Seele. Sehr angenehmer guter Service und raffinierte Speisekarte mit richtig gutem preiswertem Essen.

Für die Übergabe unserer Enkelkinder war es ein tolles Erlebnis. Alles war bestens und endlich mal einen netten Service. Essen und Preis Leistung wirklich gut. Bis zum nächsten mal.

Restaurant liegt schön erhöht mit Blick auf den See und wir haben ohne Reservierung problemlos einen Platz bekommen. Leider kam der Wein sehr spät und das Essen wiederum zu früh. Ebenfalls wurde eine Bestellung auch falsch aufgenommen, sodass man nicht gemeinsam anfangen konnte zu essen. Weiterhin fehlte das Besteck. Nudeln waren aufgewärmt und nicht frisch, fade und erinnerte für den stolzen Preis zu sehr an Kantine. Wir haben uns eigentlich sehr auf das Dinner gefreut und waren im Anschluss leider etwas enttäuscht.

Durch Zufall das Lokal entdeckt-, ein leckeres Frühstücksangebot zusammen mit einem tollen Blick über den See und netter Bedienung- so fängt der Tag gut an. Abends war es voll- man sollte reservieren.

So eine freundliche und zuvorkommende Bewirtung ist selten. Wir können es nur jedem Empfehlen hier ein paar Stunde bei super leckeren Speisen und leckeren Cocktails zu verbringen.
