Super Location oberhalb von Erfurt absolut zu empfehlen...

Maria ist die beste Servicekraft ever ! Super nett, zuvorkommend und man merckt dass das echt ist, nicht aufgesetzt. Das Haus war voll und Maria hatte die Ruhe weg. Das Essen war lecker, aber mir ein wenig "Würze" gefehlt. Den Bandnudeln mit Garnelen (53) hätten ein paar (gesalzene) Kapern sicher gut getan. Aber geschmeckt hat es trotzdem uns allen. Gern wieder.

Ich war an einem Freitag im Restaurant und war erschrocken wie groß das ist , aber alles war super. Gleich kam ein Kellner an den Tisch und schon nach kurzer Zeit hatten wir unser Essen. Ein fach lecker und reichlich. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen, immerwieder gerne.

Waldkasino ist ein Restaurant für Masse an Menschen, also für jeden Gruppengröße gibt es einen Sitzplatz. Wenn man am Wochenende zu den Hauptzeiten kommt, sollte man Reservieren, wenn man gute Plätze möchte. Sehr umfangreiche Karte, da findet jeder was, dadurch ist die Qualität in Ordnung. Der Pizzateig ist super. Der Außenbereich ist sehr groß, viele Sitzmöglichkeiten und auch größeren Spielbereich für die Kinder. Im Glasinnenbereich ist es lauter, die anderen Bereiche sind von der Geräuschkulisse gut.

Wir sassen bei schönem Wetter im Außenbereich. Nett angelegt mit guter Bestuhlung/Hochlener mit Polsterkissen. schöner Blick über Erfurt. Das Essen war gut und reichlich. Sehr ordentliche Speisekarte.

Wir haben heute unseren Gutschein eingelöst, uns war aufgefallen er war schon abgelaufen, für unser Bedienung kein Problem Gutschein wird akzeptiert! Essen war reichlich für die Mittagskarte. Willkommens Prosecco und zum Abschluss einen Ramazzotti gratis. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder, vielen Dank nochmal an unsere Bedienung.

Leckeres Essen, tolle Nudelgerichte und crosse Pizzen. Neben der üblichen Getränkeauswahl auch hausgemachte Limonaden. Das selbstgebaute Bier ist sehr empfehlenswert und frisch. Die Aussicht vom Garten und Wintergarten über Erfurt ist sensationell. Der Service ist gut.

Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe dort und haben überdacht auf der Terrasse draußen gesessen. Schönes Lokal, sehr malerischer Ausblick auf Erfurt und viel Platz zum sitzen. Die Auswahl ist sehr groß, das Essen wurde trotz Gruppengröße sehr zügig und hintereinander serviert. Hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt, obwohl es jetzt kein Gourmetessen ist. Preislich auch sehr angenehm. Der Service war super schnell und höflich, auf Rückfragen würde sofort Rücksicht genommen. Wenn man mal in Erfurt ist lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ein Besuch.

Es handelt sich um ein angesehenes Restaurant mit einer abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte und vielen Sitzplätzen im Innen- und Außenbereich. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend, obwohl die Personalfluktuation im Laufe des Jahres relativ hoch zu sein scheint. Der Service ist schnell und die Speisen sind durchweg von guter Qualität. Insgesamt sind die Preise angesichts der Qualität der Küche, der Portionsgrößen und des Service angemessen.

Ein tolles Restaurant! Die Portionen sind groß, das Essen wurde schnell serviert und war sehr lecker. Besonders gefallen hat uns die wunderschöne Aussicht – sie macht den Besuch zu etwas Besonderem.

Ich war im Rahmen eines gewerblichen Ausflugs im Waldkasino. Das Essen war leider wirklich nicht gut. Weder die Pizza, noch die Spaghetti konnten überzeugen. Alles schien lieblos hergerichtet und schmeckte fad. Wir wurden schon skeptisch als das Essen extrem schnell serviert wurde, trotz des an dem Tag großen Andrangs. Die Bedienung war nett. Für Familien ist dieser Ort vielleicht geeignet, da es für die Kinder viel Beschäftigung gibt, allerdings würde ich nicht nochmal herkommen.

Immer wieder eine gute Idee, dort zu essen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist vorzüglich und schnell auf dem Tisch. Wir gehen sehr oft und gerne hier hin.

Wir waren zu dritt an einem Samstagabend ohne Reservierung da. Platz bekommen ohne zu warten. Essen war geschmacklich gut. Allerdings mussten zwei Personen auf ihr Essen relativ lange warten (Pinsa und Pizza). Es war gut besucht, aber nicht brechend voll. Daher der Abzug, wegen warten. Preise, gehoben. Wie mittlerweile überall.

Nach Ankunft wurden wir freundlich empfangen und an einem Tisch in der 3. Reihe auf der Terasse platziert. (Es war sehr voll) Nach einer Weile wurden uns auch die Karten gereicht. Die Karte hat eine schöne Auswahl an italienischen und internationalen Speisen. Wir hatten als Vorspeise das Carpacchio vom Rind und als Hauptgang eine Pinsa und ein Fleischgericht. Die Pinsa mit Tomatensauce, Mozzarella, Parmaschinken, Ruccola und einer Burrata als Topping war ausgesprochen gut und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden und werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank.

Tolles Ambiente, flotte Bedienung,

Top Italiner wie man sich das als Tourist oder einheimischer wünscht. Sind hier schon öfter nach einer größeren Wanderung eingekehrt.

Wir waren mit Reservierung am 24.6.26 da. 35 Grad im Schatten und wir bekamen einen Platz in der Sonne. Mit dem Versprechen- in 15 Minuten ist die weg. Nach 50 Minuten waren wir gar gegrillt. Da zwei der Gäste ein Gericht von der Mittagskarte nahmen, gab es pro Gericht einen Aufschlag von 3,50 €. Niemand hat es uns vorher mitgeteilt. 7 Euro für aufgetautes Gemüse und Hähnchenschnitzel vom Mittag. Mega. Nachdem ich eindringlich nach einem Schattenplatz verlangt hatte wurden wir umgesetzt, dann saßen 2 von 5 Personen im Schatten. Mittlerweile "nur " noch 32 Grad. Weil wir offensichtlich keine guten Gäste waren, die einfach alles ,was diktiert wurde hinnahmen, kam dann auch keine Bedienung mehr an den Tisch, wir wurden komplett ignoriert. Eigentlich wollten wir weitere Getränke und Desserts bestellen- nö - ihr nicht. Selbst zum Bezahlen musste ich eine Bedienung suchen und wurde sehr unfreundlich behandelt. Eigentlich hatten wir bisher einen guten Eindruck vom Waldkasino, das hat sich geändert. Jeder muss natürlich selbst wissen, ob er dieses Restaurant besuchen möchte. Wir werden es definitiv nicht mehr so schnell tun. Leider.

Ein schönes Hotel, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und guter Service. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich, allerdings muss man sich an Frühstückszeiten halten. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut, schnelle Bedienung und das Essen war sehr lecker.

Sehr leckeres italienisches Essen, hatten Pinsa und hausgemachte Pasta einfach lecker nettes Leute. Wie deine Pizza/Pinsa gemacht wird kannst du direkt zuschauen. Hausgebrautes leckeres Bier was man auch Togo mitbekommt.

Mega großer Terassenbereich, sehr gemütlich mit Weitblick über Erfurt. Richtig flotte und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auf das Essen mußten wir fast gar nicht warten und es war trotzdem sehr lecker und mega frisch. Hunde sind erlaubt. Gerne empfehlen wir es weiter und kommen selbst auch wieder.

Sehr schönes Ambiente Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich Obwohl das Restaurant an diesem Tag sehr voll war wurden wir prompt bedient und die Wartezeiten auf die Speisen und Getränke waren absolut in Rahmen. Das selbst gebraute Bier ist wirklich sehr lecker.

Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Mittagessen mit Nachtisch. Hier kann man sich wohlfühlen und Fühlt sich willkommen. Personal und Ambiente sind sehr angenehm. Wir kommen wieder.

Wo fang ich an... Freitag Abend auch zur besten Zeit gibt's genug Platz und tolle Aussicht auf Erfurt. Das Personal ist nett und es gibt einen Secco als Gruß aus der Küche. Zum Gefügig machen wie sich später herausstellt. Die Vorspeisenplatte ist OK das Brot hätten für nen Euro mehr hausgemachte Trombini statt Baguette vom Discounter? Sein können. Die Pizza Waldcasino war ok, ABER die Carbonara treiben jeden der Spliff liebt die Tränen und die Zornesröte auf die Wangen. Spaghetti mit Kochschinken Sahne Soße zu verkaufen ist halt 3st. Btw die kleinen Gemüsestückchen sind hoffentlich nicht aus dem Maggi Glas? 🫪 Die 3 Sterne reißen nur die Plätze und die schnelle und nette Bedienung raus. Ihr wollt alternativen? Geht in die Schuhgasse ins Grappa.

Guter Service und leckeres Essen

Das Waldkasino war mal ein echt schönes und gutes Ausflugsziel. Inzwischen leider nur noch reine Massenabfertigung. Man fühlt sich wie ein Huhn in der Massentierhaltung. Das essen schmeckt zwar noch in Ordnung aber dafür ist der aufgezwungene Aperitif echt ekelig und schmeckt billig. Die Parksituation ist echt ein Alptraum. Abgesehen von dem Krieg um den letzten Parkplatz kann auch keiner der Besucher vernünftig fahren und alle parken einfach schlecht. Ingesamt keine Besuchsempfehlung von mir.

Went there with the company for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, things went wrong with the order, so some had to wait for their food while others were already eating.

The service was very attentive and quick. However, the food was worse than in some school cafeterias. The fried potatoes were just cooked potato slices from the freezer, garnished with frozen vegetables in a dirty pan. Some of the potatoes were blackened by residue left over from the previous meal. Generally, all the dishes (except the pasta dishes) were simply frozen food prepared without any care. I also haven't had such bad home-brewed draft beer in a long time – musty, bland, and stale. Therefore, I can't recommend anything except the pasta and pizza dishes.

We asked at reception if it was possible to sit outside. We were laughed at and treated as if we'd asked a completely absurd question. The staff apparently didn't think it necessary to serve us… so we simply left. Not recommended. Extremely unfriendly and rude.

I finally redeemed my voucher for a meal here. I reserved a table, as it's always very busy. The waiter was quick and very friendly. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. The pre-Christmas atmosphere was fantastic. The noise level in the conservatory was a bit high, but we could live with that. Thank you, we'll gladly come again! 👍

We spontaneously booked a table for eight for dinner that same day. The initial contact over the phone was very pleasant. This warmth and friendliness continued throughout our entire visit to the restaurant. Excellent value for money, well-organized service, reasonable wait times, a diverse menu, and very high-quality food. Special requests were no problem. Very nice location and fast service.

I remember the Waldkasino from my childhood, and it was a popular spot even back then, a status it retains to this day. Because of its popularity, it's now a destination for countless guests who flock here daily. They are exceptionally well looked after, with ample space and a wonderful staff who are friendly, cheerful, and attentive throughout their stay. Therefore, I would say the Waldkasino is the number one casino in town.

We were there with a large group for a Christmas party and received friendly, quick, and excellent service. Everyone enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere is very pleasant; everything is designed for comfort.

Hello, I spontaneously decided to eat at this restaurant with my partner today. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The waiter came quite quickly and asked if we wanted drinks, which were promptly brought to us. However, when we asked about our food, he became very unfriendly. We ordered, and then I asked again about the appetizer, the Brushetta, as I couldn't find it on the menu. He snapped at me, asking why I hadn't asked in the first place. He said he'd already sent the order and didn't want to start a new one. After that, he simply walked away. The food arrived quite quickly (10 minutes), which is good in one sense, but also very bad in another, as it was far from fresh. The vegetables were completely cold and still frozen, so they were obviously frozen. The schnitzel was lukewarm and greasy. It was very disappointing for such a great restaurant, even if everything looked fresh. After the meal, our plates were quickly cleared away, and the waiter was already back with his card reader for the payment. I hadn't even finished my drink, and we hadn't been there for more than half an hour. I still wanted to finish my drink in peace and sit with my partner for a while, but then two other guests arrived and stood next to us, just waiting for us to leave so they could sit down. Speechless.

Solid Italian cuisine, good location, but a bit large.

The food was quite good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'm not a big fan of the modern style, but that's a matter of taste. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, though. All in all, I would recommend it.

Unfortunately, nothing special for the rather high price. Although we had reserved a table, we were greeted rudely and initially relegated to a corner, where we had to wait until a table became available. When we finally got a table (in the back room), we were constantly jostled by people bumping into us, as everything was crammed in so tightly that another table could fit in. Because of the number of tables and the noise level, it felt like being in a train station. The food was also nothing special; you could easily make something similar at home. In a restaurant, I expect local spices and beautifully presented dishes, but none of that was present. Conclusion: Never again.

We always enjoy going to the Waldkasino. We're even considering having our next big celebration there. The service is consistently good, the menu offers something for everyone, the portions are always generous, the seating is comfortable... and there's the view of Erfurt. We always feel at home there. There are always those who are never satisfied.

I was at the Walkasino from November 8th to 9th, 2025, for a birthday party. It's a beautifully situated venue in Erfurt. The food was superbly prepared and delicious. The staff was very friendly, nice, and neatly dressed. I simply have to recommend this place.

Typical Italian fast food restaurant, friendly service and super delicious pizza, a must-visit once a month.

We were initially surprised by the size of the restaurant and thought it might take a while for our food to arrive. However, that wasn't the case at all. The food arrived within twenty minutes and was taken and brought by an exceptionally attentive and friendly waiter. We felt very comfortable and are already looking forward to our next visit.

A very large restaurant with plenty of staff. Therefore, there was no long wait. The food was delicious. The service was very attentive. Even though I was halfway through my wine, the waiter noticed a fly in it. He immediately took my glass and brought me a fresh glass. You don't find that kind of service everywhere! I thoroughly enjoyed my evening here and will gladly return.

We celebrated a birthday there last year and reserved a table for 6 people + a dog. We received a friendly welcome, but the staff's mood changed the first time they saw our dog, although he's not very large and not a "fighting dog/listed dog." Given the temperature that day, we could have sat outside, as there were still seats available without a reservation sign on the table, but they brought us to the "glass room," right at the back, to the last table. Our order was taken promptly, drinks and food were brought promptly, and it was delicious. Nothing more, nothing less. There were one or two moments where the staff ignored us, even though they made clear eye contact and then tried using hand signals, unfortunately to no avail. During dessert, they asked all the tables if they had ordered dessert before approaching us. By that point, however, it was already quite full, so you can turn a blind eye to that. Even on site, it was doubtful whether the dessert was homemade. I have to say that the staff there does a really good job considering the size of the place, and the food is prepared really quickly. It's a great place to go with family or a few friends for something to eat and a drink.

It was our first time there. We really enjoyed it. The food, service, ambiance...everything was perfect. The view from the terrace is truly amazing, there's plenty of space inside and outside, and everything is beautifully decorated and clean. We'll definitely be back.

The Waldkasino in Erfurt impresses with its idyllic, green setting and cozy atmosphere. The menu offers almost everything from world cuisine, from Italian, fish, meat, pasta, steak, schnitzel, burgers, to Thuringian specialties. To be honest, the menu was really overwhelming. The large beer garden is a great place to linger, especially in the summer. On a clear day, you have a great view of Erfurt, including the cathedral! The service is attentive and friendly, even when the restaurant is busy. Parking is available on-site, and a walk through the forest rounds off your visit. Ideal for anyone who wants to combine good food (at a very good price-performance ratio) with relaxation.

Delicious, friendly, super fast! Fifteen of us were at the Waldkasino. Everything was perfect. Very friendly (and numerous) staff. All dishes were correctly recorded and – despite reordering – brought out at the same time. Excellent. The food is good, delicious. The menu is amazingly large. The restaurant seats about 500 people. Superbly organized.

We had two very tasty pasta dishes. Friendly and attentive waiters.

In short, I was expecting a carbonara. I got ham and cream sauce. That's what we saw in the picture, with dried vegetables in it. It's clear that you can't make everything fresh at a reasonable price, but then I expect them to be cooked thoroughly. They were hard and crackled when I bit into them. The ham was also rubbish.
