Pizzeria Cascade in Erfurt

I would advise everyone not to order from there. We wanted to get pizza for dinner this week. We had pre-ordered by phone and were supposed to arrive 30 minutes later. When we got there, the price was €50.50 instead of €44.00 online, without any explanation or apology. They also told us that the cash register was broken and that payment was only possible in cash. After another 25 minutes and no service, the pizza order had still not been processed. One employee had to eat, while another made their own dinner. A few minutes later, when three pizzas were taken out of the oven, they were blown on with their mouths. "Very hygienic," and to make matters worse, it wasn't my order, but one that had been sent out via Lieferando. When I asked where my pizzas were, which I had ordered over an hour ago, I was told they would be processed right away. I then got my money back and left hungry. Because you can't recommend a pizza that was coughed on, with a processing time of over 70 minutes and poor hygiene conditions. Please go get pizza somewhere else. Just not there.

Something seems to be wrong with the "pizzeria" if the owner doesn't ensure that the opening hours are actually open during the hours stated online OR that the opening hours are changed, for example on Google.

Delivery time was missed. For the price, one would expect better service.

Ordered on a Sunday via Uber Eats - order arrived cold after more than two hours of waiting

Incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful! I ordered several pizzas at 12:20 a.m. and was immediately told it would take about an hour. After almost 2 hours (!), I received a call saying I'd have to order more for at least €9 to even get them delivered. I accepted this after a discussion. But then the bombshell: At 2 a.m., I called back and was brazenly told that they'd tried to call me several times -> which is absolutely not true. Instead, they sent me a completely unknown phone number via WhatsApp that had nothing to do with me or my address. It was obviously complete chaos in the store; one hand didn't know what the other was doing. In the end, they just told me in a cheeky tone on the phone that I should please pick up the order, saying they wouldn't bother delivering "such a small order"; it would be too much of a headache. After waiting for over 2 hours, this is an unbelievable mess. Conclusion: Disrespectful, chaotic, and unfriendly to customers. This is no way to treat paying customers. Never again!

The food was delivered as is, but a different version of Nutella was used instead. Taste-wise, it was 0/10. After confronting the pizzeria, the only response was the rude "we should go somewhere else to eat." First and last time ordering from there!

I've ordered from you many times. To be precise, I've known you since you opened. The quality has declined considerably; I can confirm some of the reviews here: 1: 1.5 hours for a pizza and a drink - It's simply too long. 2: Pizza arrives cold and soggy - Pizza probably just sits in the store for half an hour. 3: In the past, I've also had things forgotten to be delivered. - Use your brain and read what's being ordered! You should work on yourselves urgently so that you can deliver quality again instead of crap.

I ordered two pizzas, and the delivery man didn't know how much I had to pay because he forgot the bill. After a long back-and-forth on the phone, I was told the price. I gave him the money, but he couldn't give me change. I'd love to give it 0 stars, but I can't. It's just embarrassing.

What was delivered here for almost 40 euros was absolutely disgusting. Delivery took 90 minutes after ordering. Drinks were filled by hand and spilled into plastic bags, nuggets and fries were over-fried or soggy. The pizza was also soggy and covered in hair—a dish you wouldn't want. Absolutely disgusting; the food went straight into the trash. You're a case for the health department! I want my money back! I'd give negative stars if that were allowed here!

Food cold and the pizza not baked

The food is usually good. Unfortunately, the owners can't keep up with delivery times. The food is often cold, but when it's warm, it tastes delicious.

Generally, it's always delicious. I've ordered from there many times. But it kept happening that extra ingredients (which cost extra) were forgotten. Today, I had to wait 1.5 hours for my pizza, even though I live 200 meters away as the crow flies. After I called after the stated delivery time had passed, an employee replied, "Your food will be here soon." After another 20 minutes, I called again, but the phone was brazenly put down during the call when I complained about the delivery time. After that, no one answered the phone. I've always been a fan, but this is actually the most outrageous thing to do. What a shame.

Food came after 2 hours they forgot an order and didn't taste good

We received a completely wrong dish. When we called they said they would bring us the right one. We called the first time after 30 minutes and then after another 15 minutes but we were pushed away. After 60 minutes someone answered the phone and said that the driver was on the way. Then we waited another 60 minutes for the dish but nothing happened! So we paid for a dish that we never received AND we weren't supposed to eat the other dish either because they wanted to take it away! Absolute impudence!

The pizza is good. Unfortunately it didn't arrive hot.

Ordered there for the first time yesterday, the food was delicious, although I have to say that the food arrived lukewarm. It was almost cold, and the lasagna wasn't even half full. Apparently they didn't have enough lasagna plates, a bit sad. My husband was really looking forward to the lasagna, but there was only a quarter in it. Luckily I had ordered a pizza with it, because my husband wouldn't have been full of a quarter of the lasagna. A little well-intentioned tip: check beforehand what you deliver. In total it took an hour for the food to arrive.

The food is really delicious, but unfortunately the service is not up to par. I order from you often. This year alone I have forgotten to drink 3 times. Unfortunately you can't talk about punctuality... Sorry for this review but you need to get your delivery system under control.

Ribs are offered gratinated with Parmesan? Who does something like that, never eaten something so crappy, 1 rib arch for 20 euros, even my dog's tripe is juicier and softer than the crap you offer there. Shame on you!!

I have ordered from Pizzeria Cascade many times and have always had good experiences. Since I told my colleagues at work about the good quality, we wanted to order there together after our late shift. Every two weeks we meet at the Schlösserbrücke for a few beers, and since one of us lives right there, it was a perfect fit to try out the pizza. Unfortunately, not everything went smoothly this time. The order was placed directly on the pizzeria's website, with a stated delivery time of 45 minutes. The food was, as usual, delicious, but the delivery only came after over an hour and only after several calls. Apparently the driver was initially at the wrong address. Another annoyance was the price discrepancy: according to the order confirmation email we were supposed to pay €22.18 because a 15% discount was applied. However, the driver quoted us an amount of €24. After we gave him €25, he asked for a tip, whereupon we gave him another €2. Overall, the experience this time was disappointing, especially since I had recommended the pizzeria to my colleagues. I hope that this is an isolated case and that the service will be more reliable in the future

Delivery! Things are probably different in the suburbs. We were missing a 1L bottle to drink (on a public holiday when nothing was open), the driver said yes, I'll come back. You can guess who didn't come again three times. So after I didn't have anything to drink at home, I decided not to order from you anymore. It's a real shame because the food tastes good, but the delivery was very bad - and I had already given the driver a tip - just sad and unfortunately I won't recommend this shop anymore.

After we ordered two pizzas for €30. Both arrived cold and one of them was the wrong pizza. Unfortunately, I was allergic to certain ingredients in the pizza. Due to this error, we contacted the delivery service. We were rejected in an unfriendly manner and without compromise. They said they would call us back. There was no response until closing time (2:45). There was no response from the delivery service the following day either. An absolute no-go and not recommended under any circumstances.

Patience was required when ordering and paying, but the pide was huge and super tasty! There was also an unsolicited discount. Pretty interior!

The food is always fresh and delicious. The pizza as well as the pasta dishes and salads are well prepared. I also think the interior design is very nice. Orders also go quickly.

For the fact that Pizzeria Cascade puts more emphasis on delivery, you have to give them 5 stars for their suburban ambience. For a delivery service, it invites you to eat on site. The open kitchen is also great, you can see how your food is being prepared. Let's get to the food. A lavish menu, from pizza to burgers, offers everything. For me the pizza is very, very good because the dough is very well made and all the ingredients are fresh, you can taste it. All in all, the 5 stars are more than deserved! The quality of the pizzas is phenomenal. The prices are reasonable for the size and quality. In Berlin you can't get 28 cm for less than 15 euros. Regarding delivery, I think there is little chance of getting everything perfect. The drivers hardly have any time, the customers move 0, not a meter will meet you, the laziness of most people is sad. If you don't want a delivery headache, pick up the pizza at the store. Life hack, the pizza is still warm. I am extremely satisfied with the food, the ambience and the quality of the service. I now have the feeling that customers think they order everything from Amazon. Maybe you should think about whether it is necessary to call the store 30 times. Maybe a chat via WhatsApp or something like that can help. For incorrect deliveries, you can possibly create a complaint procedure and receive compensation or something like that. No company is perfect. I wish for more humanity and less crying. That's why I wish cascade wonderful customers who will continue to enjoy and appreciate the masterpieces in the kitchen in the future. I'd love to come back, again and again. For me, pizza beef is the hottest pizza.

The pizzas are always delicious, whether on site or for delivery. Soft ice cream is also great. I would happily recommend it. 😊

I can say by far that this is the best pizza I have ever had! Everything tastes incredibly delicious and fresh. The staff is super friendly and makes the visit even more pleasant. The delivery time is also excellent. Absolutely recommended!

This pizzeria is just amazing... The pizza is simply delicious and freshly prepared. Even if you order home, it's still hot and fresh... Delivery was always quick and always arrived within 40 minutes at the latest. Staff extremely friendly and competent. Since you've been around, you've been able to order pizza that tastes good again. Definitely 10 out of 10... You're great.

We eat here regularly with friends. We've now tried almost everything on the menu and the conclusion: the service is always top, people ask every now and then if everything is OK, you can laugh together and have proper conversations. Special requests for food were always taken into account. The food is always very good too. We'd love to come back again and again!

Let's assume you're really hungry. And you're really in the mood for the dishes that Pizzeria Cascade offers - because they generally look good and sound pretty delicious too. Yes, then it's best to order somewhere else. BECAUSE here you will have to wait a very, very, very long time for your delivery & if you are unlucky (about 50/50 chance), the food won't even taste good. I understand that there are problems with delivery at peak times and everything takes a little longer. No problem! But if the delivery takes over 2 hours and you are fobbed off in an unfriendly manner when you ask over the phone, then the focus here is certainly not on service quality and “returning customers”. This is very disappointing, especially since I know from before that things could have been different here. Too bad. I can't recommend it - there are plenty of very good delivery services in Erfurt and, if you're looking for something to eat locally, very good restaurants etc. Just go there, save yourself the hassle and waiting.

Kindness is very important in this industry. The problem is not with the food but with the employees who prepare the food and apparently don't really want to work carefully. How can you keep forgetting ingredients? and then it's normal for people to complain and then you're treated badly, you're made to feel stupid, so you can't feel comfortable there anymore. It's very sad that there is always theater because people don't work properly and carefully so that people can sometimes write something positive. No, unfortunately that's not possible at the moment! I hope they change their behavior and stop driving through the city like racing car drivers. Everyone has to follow the rules! Pizza wasn't convincing, dough wasn't cross, rocket was very bitter and some burnt spots on the edge. Salads didn't blow our minds either, they were far too ordinary and not delicately crafted. Meat tough, missed the cooking point, I don't need it again. We'd rather go somewhere else next time, too bad.

There are so many good ordering services out there, this one is a brilliant exception! Here you can get homemade dishes of excellent quality. I can only recommend it..

Instead of the stated delivery time of 1 hour, it was 1 hour 45 minutes. Instead of an apology, the excuse was that he was just the driver. At least the pizza was still warm. It was okay, but that was it.

We were guests today with a group of 10 people and were thoroughly impressed. The food was of excellent quality and was served in a very short time. We would particularly like to praise the excellent service and competent advice. The ambience of the restaurant is also worth highlighting - it is stylishly furnished and creates a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, this restaurant offers an impressive overall experience - both in terms of food, service and ambience. Highly recommended!

Boss totally unsympathetic, delivery service does not adhere to traffic regulations and thus endangers people's (children!!!) lives. Pizza below average, you can also take the "good" one from the freezer.

I haven't ordered pizza from you, but I would like to leave a review about your suppliers. I noticed that the delivery people drive very quickly and dangerously through the city. This is very strange and worrying. I ask the management to give the drivers appropriate information.

There was an INSECT in the noodles 🦟!!! I don't have the words to say this. Ordered at 10:30 p.m. Nobody answers the phone anymore. Bruschetta looked like the driver had been at the racetrack before. 2 small slices of baguette and an end piece for €7.50... Driver can't handle the bell because you first have to get to the door from the 10th floor. So don't get half-ready for bed if you want to order in the evening!

I don't know what else to say... I've now ordered the second time and thought I'd try the dessert again. It's better to take something like this out of the range if you can't prepare it. The first time the panacotta was ready to drink. Now I have ordered a Hot Blondie - below there is an extra lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Actually, I could have inserted a skewer to lick the "Hot Blondie" like ice cream. When I called the pizzeria, the employee explained to me that the pie shouldn't be warm. When I asked why he was called "Hot Blondie" he couldn't answer me and said the boss would call me back.

I ordered from Pizzeria Cascade via Lieferando. A Chillichees burger with fries and panacotta. The food was delivered very quickly, but unfortunately it was disappointing. The panacotta was liquid, you could actually drink it. In addition, it spilled out of the package onto the fries and the burger. I don't know if it was because it "melted" from the heat or what happened to it. Definitely a shame for 6 euros. When I called to get feedback, all they said was "yes, that's stupid, but there's not much I can do about it now." I can understand that something like this is difficult to regulate. But I still wished for more. The burger and fries were pretty good, but there wasn't much chilli for a Chillichees burger.

The behavior of delivery drivers in traffic is impossible. Reckless and excessive speed endangers other road users. For me, this is a reason never to order here.

Oh well. After we ordered our food online, I received an email saying that I would receive my pizzas in an hour (2 pieces). After an hour and a half they still weren't there and the so-called delivery service didn't answer the phone either. You have to know. After an hour and a half the doorbell rang, just as I was about to go find my order. The messenger briefly explained to me that one of the delivery vehicles had probably broken down. I fully understand that, but in my opinion it cannot be that they showed up almost three quarters of an hour late, and that several attempts to contact were not accepted and no initiative was taken to establish contact. The two pizzas were tasty, but cold. You have to know.

Unfortunately that was nothing! I ordered on a normal Monday and waited 1.5 hours for my food. As a thank you, it was unfortunately cold and not even tasty. The pizza came with hollandaise sauce, which wasn't apparent in the order or description and which I definitely didn't want. When delivered, the bruschetta was more like a box of shaken bread than anything else. But the individual parts tasted okay. All in all, the order was unfortunately a real zero number. Definitely won't order again.

We ordered 3 pizzas and a waffle. The pizzas were scheduled to wait for an hour and arrived after 2 hours, the waffle was forgotten, after inquiries they said that they would send it out straight away. But we had to wait almost 2 hours again and the waffle was cold. We have ordered there several times and were mostly satisfied, but after this experience we will probably change our mind and not order there as often anymore. But the taste was different compared to the past and not really good.

We ordered for over €80, the food was inedible, a colleague of mine had to throw up 10 minutes later after eating, the delivery took 1.5 hours and was ice cold, the pizzas were swimming in oil and were also inedible, the only thing that tasted good was When they asked for a refund for the Coke cans that came with it, they simply said no. If you're thinking about eating or ordering there, you should get a frozen pizza from Rewe and eat it straight down your throat from the freezer. It probably tastes better than what we got and should be pretty much the same temperature as the food we delivered. I will never order there again
