Unfriendly food was lukewarm at times, has decreased, was better at times

One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to...

We only ate a few snacks, had ice cream, and a few drinks. The salad looked good, but the ice cream had ice crystals, and the Coke was made of syrup and tasted awful. Unfortunately, our server was very unfriendly.

Fast, friendly service. Excellent even without food.

We've been going for dinner for years whenever time permits, sometimes with, sometimes without children. Everyone is very attentive and friendly. The food is excellent, and the value for money is very good. Always happy to come back. Keep up the good work.

Delicious refreshments and fine food

I have to say I'm generous with tips, but here I had every cent returned. The staff was extremely unfriendly, and the food looked like it came out of a Knorr bag, and the noodles were still hard. Unbelievable.

Six of us went to Roma on Saturday evening. Our waiter, Nico, provided excellent, personalized service. He puts his heart and soul into his work and gave us great advice. We all had different dishes, and without exception, every one was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous; we had leftovers packed up to take home. The value for money is reasonable. The cocktails are also highly recommended. Our special requests were accommodated. The food arrived quickly, and paying was quick and easy. We were greeted with a glass of wine on the house, and as we left, we were served an absolutely delicious Italian lemon liqueur, the name of which I unfortunately can't remember. All in all, we were very satisfied and will gladly visit this restaurant again soon. 🫶🏼

I drank a beer, Karin my wife had a drink. According to my wife, the drink was bland, diluted to pure juice/juice should have been an Aperol spritzer.???

Basically I can recommend the restaurant. We had dinner there for 3 days. 1 evening asparagus was still too hard. The tips were almost al dente. You can imagine what the rest of the pole was like. 2nd evening spagetti with olive oil and garlic, 3rd evening grilled mozzarella with ham, rocket. Dishes 2 and were tasty. But unfortunately completely oversized. That means dish 3 was an appetizer. I only managed half of this. That's the reason for 3 stars. Never got to try the dessert. Also no non-alcoholic wine. Service staff was super friendly. The Parmesan bowls looked a bit tattered. Swap more often.

Beef steak was a total miss, to much oil or something but it was really bad, rest of the food we had was good and waiters really nice, just don't order beef steak.

That was just great! The atmosphere was very cozy. The staff was extremely polite and hospitable. Great music. We felt like we were at home! We were pleasantly surprised that, despite a rather small order, we received a glass of champagne as a gift - each of us. And the waiter who served us was just an incredibly pleasant person! We recommend this place to everyone and will definitely come back when we are in this city!

We had asparagus with Wiener Schnitzel, macaroni with bolognese sauce, straccatti di pollo and panna cotta for dessert. Our special requests (veal schnitzel instead of pork schnitzel, macaroni instead of tortellini) were happily accommodated and a deficiency (some woody asparagus in one portion) was immediately remedied. The ambience is very appealing, there is a large outdoor area and the "Italian dishes" are very good. Almost forgot: You should definitely try the homemade lemonades, very tasty. We can only warmly recommend this restaurant, especially the service there is excellent.

Hello, I had dinner at this restaurant with my family last night. The food wasn't tasty. It was delivered cold and salty and the waiters seemed overwhelmed. The ambience is the only positive thing. I also learned that any negative reviews from the restaurant will be deleted. Lg

I recently went to this Italian restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was simply delicious – authentic, fresh and full of flavor. I was particularly impressed by the homemade pizza from the stone oven. Special praise goes to our waiter Nico. He was extremely friendly, attentive and created a really pleasant atmosphere with his humor. You can immediately tell that he does his job with passion. The atmosphere was cozy and typically Italian – perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family. I'll definitely be back!

wir waren zum Mittagessen im Roma. Das Personal war freundlich, aber völlig überlastet. Carpaccio war okay. Spargel mit Hähnchen-Form- Fleisch war widerlich.

Roma is my Erfurt in-laws' favorite restaurant and we have eaten here often. Joana at reception is always very friendly, just like the other employees. At peak times you should reserve a table. In summer you can sit outside. The food comes quickly. I usually eat pizza or homemade pasta. Everything has been delicious so far. I think the prices are rather cheap for the large portions. It's a restaurant for the whole family.

Roma is my favorite restaurant. We have been eating here again and again for years. With family, friends or Christmas with my department or just alone. Often spontaneous and there was always a table or I had reserved well in advance. Super delicious food, very nice service and nice ambience. Everyone experiences a restaurant differently, but I/we simply find it very nice and feel very comfortable. I can only recommend it!!! Thank you 😊

Good place, good atmosphere, but the restroom in this restaurant is terrible, many steps, unpleasant smell, and no cleaning paper and dirty floor. The food in the establishment is delicious but I would like a juicier steak. The waiters create the atmosphere of this place..

It's crazy what we experienced there yesterday!! I don't know whether the staff are educators in addition to their catering activities, it was wonderful how everyone looked after us and especially our daughter. It didn't bother anyone that the child was running around and so on... As always, the food was perfect, the wine was great and everything was at great prices. Thanks Nico and the whole other team for everything! See you next time.

Great pizzeria with a beautiful outdoor area, even in the early season. There are nice, good and large authentic Italian pizzas, but there are also plenty of delicious burgers there. Professional staff from Bella Italia, top.

Yesterday late afternoon we wanted something to eat before going to an event at the trade fair. The weather was great and we made ourselves comfortable outside. The waiter came quickly and brought us the menu. We ordered and the drinks arrived quickly. The glasses were anything but inviting from the dishwasher. The pasta arrived after what felt like 3 minutes. Unfortunately, it tasted of dishwater and nothing else. Not seasoned or flavored. The Parmesan cheese served with it smelled rancid. I would not recommend the restaurant. We've learned that there are much, much better restaurants in Erfurt.

We (3 people) “only” drank a coffee/cocoa there. The waiter was very unfriendly and complained to us that we didn't say when we came in that we didn't want to eat. It was 5 p.m. and there were still plenty of spots available! It's a shame, but I think that I/we don't want to go there again given this unfriendliness (which lasted the entire stay).

Today wasn't so great. It was very crowded at lunchtime. The spoons were missing with the noodles today. We got ourselves some cheese from the neighboring table. The lunch menu wasn't really warm and the sauce was reminiscent of thin soup. I missed spices too. A spoon for the fruit with the house lemonade wouldn't be a bad idea either. For a good tip we at least got a delicious espresso.

A somewhat hidden Italian on the Anger. We warmed up here with him with a delicious tea and a homemade lemonade. The water for the tea was a bit lukewarm. I think the tea would have been even tastier if brewed with boiling water. Price, service completely OK.

Visited for lunch today during the week. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The decor and ambience are very inviting. Especially for the short lunch break, the times when the food was on the table are very quick. As always, the quality of the food was very good.

A restaurant that is not only incredibly child-friendly, but also acts as a perfect host. We were here two evenings in a row with 5 children and felt extremely comfortable.

We were in Erfurt between the years and came across the Restorante Roma by chance. We were very pleased with this as we can only recommend this restaurant. The welcome was very friendly, as was the service and of course the food. It was all very tasty 😋 It was a nice end and evening to our short trip to Erfurt, which we will definitely repeat.

The service was not courteous and was rather rushed with everything. The food wasn't particularly enjoyable either. The salad was bland and with bucket dressing. Fried potatoes were also from the bag and the vegetables were from the freezer. Only the price was fair. Basically, it always has to be better in a restaurant than at home. It would be worth paying more for me too.

We were here as a group and had pre-booked seats. We sat in a quiet corner and yet not separated from the others. It was easy to have a good chat in the group. The seats were comfortable. The waitress was super friendly. All drinks and food were delivered correctly and quickly, even though everything was there and a lot was ordered. We sat all evening. At the end there was a drink on the house. Since I was driving, I got a scoop of chocolate ice cream in return. This extra was very friendly. We'd love to come back.

Imagine going to a busy Italian restaurant at lunchtime in winter and telling the waiter who greets you that you want an espresso and an ice cream sundae. Yes, the look on his face was unforgettable. However, the waiter's initial shock quickly gave way to a friendly smile and he seated us at one of the few free tables. The ice cream sundaes were large and delicious and the coffee was also very good. Good price/performance ratio. Next time we'll come for dinner.

Where all the positive reviews come from is a mystery to me. Pizza with Parma ham: very soggy in the middle and tasteless. The schnitzel Pepe al Verde: So dry that the poor animal died twice, not to mention the powdered sauce. The fries were okay. Small spoiler: anyone who is looking forward to the “home-brewed black beer” will be surprised with Köstritzer.

Had to wait at the train station for a connecting train and had to eat something. Asked a local where a restaurant was. He then said how we could go to the Italian restaurant. No sooner said than done. My grandchild and I stopped there and were totally surprised. Great service, great food. Big burger with fries, I'm really talking big here, with a saucenterrine of red sauce, for me spaghetti in cream sauce and ham. Everything was super tasty. I couldn't manage the portion, it would have been enough for 2 people. Nobody has to starve here. I come from Upper Bavaria, so I drank a delicious wheat beer and at the end a double espresso to stay awake. There were still 5 hours of train travel ahead of us. On top of that there was a good portion of grappa, the conclusion was that we really liked it because everything was just right, the prices were really great and the taste was also right. We probably won't go there again, but we can only recommend this beautiful restaurant with a clear conscience. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos because food was more important.

This restaurant was the best we visited in the 5 days of our stay in Erfurt. We even liked it so much that we went there two days in a row. The menu is very extensive. I had pizza once and Schnitzel Roma the second time, both of which I would definitely recommend. Pizza is very well topped. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty but the waiter was very slow.

We booked a table for dinner in time for a family reunion. When we got to the restaurant our table was still occupied. It was very hectic and unfriendly. Then we were taken to our table, where the guests were just getting up. The table full of dishes. We expected a properly commemorated table. I asked the waiter for a new tablecloth, but the dirt was only wiped off. Now we finally came to rest and placed our orders. My son chose an appetizer. It is usual for the main course to be served when the starter is finished. Here he just started the starter and all the main courses were already there. Comfortable is something else. Mass processing is more likely. The food was average, path. When we went to check out the waiter was very unfriendly because no tip was paid. Honestly, we know how hard the job is and really appreciate good service and always give tips. But the stay here just wasn't nice.

Quality mediocre food. The ambience is quite nice, but the smell and the condition of the sanitary facilities are shocking. It smelled so horrible that you didn't feel like eating anymore. The waiter was superficially nice at first, but when the table was about to be occupied again, we were politely asked how long we would be there for. The price of the food doesn't match the quality and as an emergency solution during the crowded Christmas season it's ok.

Even though it was very busy, the service was very nice and friendly. Starters were very good. Unfortunately, the main courses weren't quite as good. There were no spices, everything was a little too bland and the Gorgonzola sauce was more of a cream sauce.

We had a family reunion here. The food was good and plentiful, but unfortunately we were asked to leave after almost two hours. Maybe you should point out when making your reservation that you can only stay for 2 hours. It's a shame, our evening ended very abruptly.

We were served by Hanif - despite a lot of people and work, he was absolutely friendly, calm and had everything perfectly under control. Great guy and did a great job!!! This is how eating out is fun 👍👍👍. Thanks Hanif!!!

I haven't eaten such a dry lasagne in a long time. The waiter was so annoying, stood next to you the whole time and wanted a passport photo. The food came quickly, but as I said, it didn't taste good. The ROMA burger wasn't exactly the best either.
