The food was delicious, but the wine 🍷 was too strong. I can recommend the Pizza Roma; the tuna and pepperoni were fantastic for €15! 😋🍕 The waiter was very friendly and served us first. I can recommend this restaurant to food lovers who enjoy Italian cuisine. 🇮🇹 5 stars 🌟 Plus

The pizzas and appetizers were delicious, as were the homemade lemonades. In our experience, sharing the appetizers is highly recommended. If someone is only moderately hungry, the appetizers can easily serve as a main course.

Our visit to Roma left us with mixed feelings. The ambiance was great, the restaurant is centrally located and looks really chic, the owner and part-time staff were nice, but two of the waiters were unfriendly. It's ridiculous how efficiently the restaurant was staffed: one person to take drink orders, another to bring the drinks, another to take food orders, and a final person to bring the food and the bill. Waiting half an hour just to order is too long, but then getting the food on the table after only eight minutes was a surprise. Communication between the staff was nonexistent, and after being sent back and forth across the restaurant twice and still not being seated, the owner took it upon herself to do it. Regarding the food: It was disappointing that the pasta was obviously homemade and really good, but then, out of our four dishes, the sauces in three were not recommended: two were tasteless, and the other was over-seasoned. Only one was as expected. ... We also became skeptical when we saw that many plates and bowls at the other tables were being cleared away half-full. The price seemed arbitrary to me; nothing I considered overpriced, but the pricing calculation wasn't entirely clear (how could ribbon pasta in a white sauce with salmon and shrimp be cheaper than filled pasta in tomato sauce, with a similar portion size?). The size of the dishes varied, but with four different pasta dishes, it was sufficient in all cases.

I was in Erfurt on business and we ate there. Fast service, good food, and above all, large portions. Highly recommended.

Right in the center. Delicious... BUT! Some waiters can go overboard with their jokes, even seriously. If you expect respect, this is NOT the place for you. Dirty jokes are made almost every time you visit. If you're prepared for your umbrella to be used in broad daylight, this is the place for you. I don't recommend it.

I ordered veal medallions, but it was neither veal nor medallions (as you can see in the photo, the meat was overcooked). The waiters were a complete disaster; they brought the wrong orders and weren't very friendly. If you don't want to have a bad time and eat indigestible food, don't go to this restaurant! Yo pedí veal medallions, no era veal no eran medallions (se puede ver en la photo, carne pasadísima). Los camareros an auténtico disaster, traían comandas erróneas y no eran special amables. If you don't want to have a rat and comer food that is incomible, you can't go to this restaurant!

It was very quick and the food was delicious. It wasn't too hot, so we could eat it right away. At the end, we were given a glass of wine on the house. The coffee was also very aromatic and delicious. Overall, it's a very good restaurant. We paid less than €60 for three people, but we still had to take some with us because it was quite a lot.

I made a last-minute reservation for 12 people. It was no problem. The service was good. The food was okay, but unfortunately I couldn't stomach it. The restrooms were very deep in the basement, which was very difficult for older people. When I saw the toilet brush, I was completely taken aback. It's not expensive, but I've never experienced anything like it. It's a shame. A restaurant needs to pay attention to that, too.

A beautiful location but unfortunately poor quality food nothing good we will not come to this location again, I do not recommend it I ordered seafood pasta and it was not good at all I ordered pork schnitzel and plain potatoes again it was the same I do not understand what is happening but unfortunately I am not looking for this location anymore.

We had dinner at Roma with 20 people (colleagues). We were warmly welcomed and led to the lovingly and elaborately decorated and set table. The food was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. Thank you very much and best regards.

The food came quickly and was delicious. The staff was friendly, too. The location itself is fine. If you sit outside, you have to deal with the noise from the tram. All in all, you can eat well and quickly here. It was great.

The restaurant is easily accessible, cozy for its size, and the service was good. The menu is very diverse, which unfortunately is reflected in the quality. Large portions and reasonable prices, but the food didn't impress us.

"El Grandioso" is all I can say! Very centrally located, and the food and service are of the highest quality. Unbeatable value for money. They offer a wide selection of food and drinks. Anyone in Erfurt City Center should definitely visit Ristorante Roma. Everything was delivered unusually quickly. I had a Hefeweizen beer 🍺 with a pizza with Parma ham, Milanese salami, and arugula 🍕, and a delicious 😋 cappuccino ✅️ for dessert. I was greeted with an aperitif and finished with a delicious grappa 🥃😉✌️. The atmosphere outside is inviting, and the service is very attentive. It's definitely worth a visit ✅️✌️😉

By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Moderate prices, delicious food, an extensive menu, excellent service, and they even print out the bill without you having to ask. Which Italian restaurant still offers that?

We were here with about 20 people and everyone was so accommodating that we would love to come back.

We stopped in spontaneously for three different pizzas, all of which were excellent, as was the service. We sat outside in the perfect weather, but the tablecloth could have been changed as it was a bit stained, which didn't detract from the truly excellent dinner. We'd be happy to return if we get the chance and can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Super nice, good price/performance

Until now, it was our favorite restaurant in Erfurt. The food was good, the atmosphere was okay. The server had to tell me this today, and not just me: If we don't like the long wait, the warm wheat beer, the cutlery coming later, and the food cold, then we should go somewhere else. Sorry, it wasn't that busy. The table behind us came later and received priority service. No go. Never again. Another thing that still bothers me is telling a really elderly lady that she's not in the hospital, but in a restaurant, and that she should go somewhere else. Absolutely disrespectful.

I'm honestly quite disappointed with my visit to Ristorante Roma. I ordered a carpaccio and was immediately asked whether I wanted pizza bread or white bread. The way the waiter phrased it made me think the bread was included—as if it were a natural part of the meal. The real joke: Only upon closer inspection of the menu did we notice that the carpaccio didn't come with any side dish—and that the bread, instead, was charged an extra €6. This wasn't clearly communicated by the waiter. When I asked—less than a minute later—to remove the bread because I didn't see the additional costs, I was told that it wasn't possible because it was "already ready." At that point, the bread wasn't even on the table yet. To me, this is clearly misleading. It seems as if they're deliberately using hidden additional costs. This isn't how guests should be treated—especially not at a restaurant that wants to convey a high-quality impression. Conclusion: The food was okay, but the service was disappointing. If you eat here, be sure to ask exactly what's included in the price—otherwise, you'll end up paying more than you think.

The food is good there, but I'm always irritated by the sheer amount of choice. A grilled meat isn't necessary in an Italian restaurant.

The food was okay, but not outstanding. It also came quite quickly—perhaps a bit of a convenience store, unfortunately. The ambiance was great at first glance, but at second glance, it was a bit dirty in places (especially the restrooms). I found the staff to be unfriendly. They step on guests' toes and instead of apologizing, they say "Be careful!"?! Overall, I had the feeling that, as a guest, I was treated as a nuisance.

A purchased pizza would be better, very disappointed

I used to enjoy eating here, but now I'm disappointed. The staff is sometimes friendly, but sometimes very unfriendly. The food tastes okay, but the portions aren't big enough for the price. Furthermore, the food arrives five minutes after ordering, which might be a good thing for some, but is a turn-off for me. All in all, I won't be eating here again.

Card payments are new territory for them. First, the waiter gives you a rude shout-out for wanting to pay by card. And then, just because the card reader was empty, they accuse you of holding up business. I've never experienced anything so rude. Better go eat at Pavarotti.

The food was quite good, but could have been better. A bit more flavor or seasoning wouldn't have hurt. It was solid overall, but I wouldn't necessarily go there for a taste experience. Otherwise, everything was good, the staff was friendly, and the wait times were reasonable.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to...

We only ate a few snacks, had ice cream, and a few drinks. The salad looked good, but the ice cream had ice crystals, and the Coke was made of syrup and tasted awful. Unfortunately, our server was very unfriendly.

I have to say I'm generous with tips, but here I had every cent returned. The staff was extremely unfriendly, and the food looked like it came out of a Knorr bag, and the noodles were still hard. Unbelievable.

Six of us went to Roma on Saturday evening. Our waiter, Nico, provided excellent, personalized service. He puts his heart and soul into his work and gave us great advice. We all had different dishes, and without exception, every one was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous; we had leftovers packed up to take home. The value for money is reasonable. The cocktails are also highly recommended. Our special requests were accommodated. The food arrived quickly, and paying was quick and easy. We were greeted with a glass of wine on the house, and as we left, we were served an absolutely delicious Italian lemon liqueur, the name of which I unfortunately can't remember. All in all, we were very satisfied and will gladly visit this restaurant again soon. 🫶🏼

Basically I can recommend the restaurant. We had dinner there for 3 days. 1 evening asparagus was still too hard. The tips were almost al dente. You can imagine what the rest of the pole was like. 2nd evening spagetti with olive oil and garlic, 3rd evening grilled mozzarella with ham, rocket. Dishes 2 and were tasty. But unfortunately completely oversized. That means dish 3 was an appetizer. I only managed half of this. That's the reason for 3 stars. Never got to try the dessert. Also no non-alcoholic wine. Service staff was super friendly. The Parmesan bowls looked a bit tattered. Swap more often.

Beef steak was a total miss, to much oil or something but it was really bad, rest of the food we had was good and waiters really nice, just don't order beef steak.

That was just great! The atmosphere was very cozy. The staff was extremely polite and hospitable. Great music. We felt like we were at home! We were pleasantly surprised that, despite a rather small order, we received a glass of champagne as a gift - each of us. And the waiter who served us was just an incredibly pleasant person! We recommend this place to everyone and will definitely come back when we are in this city!

We had asparagus with Wiener Schnitzel, macaroni with bolognese sauce, straccatti di pollo and panna cotta for dessert. Our special requests (veal schnitzel instead of pork schnitzel, macaroni instead of tortellini) were happily accommodated and a deficiency (some woody asparagus in one portion) was immediately remedied. The ambience is very appealing, there is a large outdoor area and the "Italian dishes" are very good. Almost forgot: You should definitely try the homemade lemonades, very tasty. We can only warmly recommend this restaurant, especially the service there is excellent.

I recently went to this Italian restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was simply delicious – authentic, fresh and full of flavor. I was particularly impressed by the homemade pizza from the stone oven. Special praise goes to our waiter Nico. He was extremely friendly, attentive and created a really pleasant atmosphere with his humor. You can immediately tell that he does his job with passion. The atmosphere was cozy and typically Italian – perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family. I'll definitely be back!

Hello, I had dinner at this restaurant with my family last night. The food wasn't tasty. It was delivered cold and salty and the waiters seemed overwhelmed. The ambience is the only positive thing. I also learned that any negative reviews from the restaurant will be deleted. Lg

Roma is my Erfurt in-laws' favorite restaurant and we have eaten here often. Joana at reception is always very friendly, just like the other employees. At peak times you should reserve a table. In summer you can sit outside. The food comes quickly. I usually eat pizza or homemade pasta. Everything has been delicious so far. I think the prices are rather cheap for the large portions. It's a restaurant for the whole family.
