Great service, delicious food = highly recommended!

We were here as a group and had pre-booked seats. We sat in a quiet corner and yet not separated from the others. It was easy to have a good chat in the group. The seats were comfortable. The waitress was super friendly. All drinks and food were delivered correctly and quickly, even though everything was there and a lot was ordered. We sat all evening. At the end there was a drink on the house. Since I was driving, I got a scoop of chocolate ice cream in return. This extra was very friendly. We'd love to come back.

My favorite restaurant in Erfurt. Food is delicious, prices and service are top.

Imagine going to a busy Italian restaurant at lunchtime in winter and telling the waiter who greets you that you want an espresso and an ice cream sundae. Yes, the look on his face was unforgettable. However, the waiter's initial shock quickly gave way to a friendly smile and he seated us at one of the few free tables. The ice cream sundaes were large and delicious and the coffee was also very good. Good price/performance ratio. Next time we'll come for dinner.

Where all the positive reviews come from is a mystery to me. Pizza with Parma ham: very soggy in the middle and tasteless. The schnitzel Pepe al Verde: So dry that the poor animal died twice, not to mention the powdered sauce. The fries were okay. Small spoiler: anyone who is looking forward to the “home-brewed black beer” will be surprised with Köstritzer.

Had to wait at the train station for a connecting train and had to eat something. Asked a local where a restaurant was. He then said how we could go to the Italian restaurant. No sooner said than done. My grandchild and I stopped there and were totally surprised. Great service, great food. Big burger with fries, I'm really talking big here, with a saucenterrine of red sauce, for me spaghetti in cream sauce and ham. Everything was super tasty. I couldn't manage the portion, it would have been enough for 2 people. Nobody has to starve here. I come from Upper Bavaria, so I drank a delicious wheat beer and at the end a double espresso to stay awake. There were still 5 hours of train travel ahead of us. On top of that there was a good portion of grappa, the conclusion was that we really liked it because everything was just right, the prices were really great and the taste was also right. We probably won't go there again, but we can only recommend this beautiful restaurant with a clear conscience. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos because food was more important.

This restaurant was the best we visited in the 5 days of our stay in Erfurt. We even liked it so much that we went there two days in a row. The menu is very extensive. I had pizza once and Schnitzel Roma the second time, both of which I would definitely recommend. Pizza is very well topped. Staff very friendly and attentive. If I'm in Erfurt again, I'd love to go to the Roma restaurant

We booked a table for dinner in time for a family reunion. When we got to the restaurant our table was still occupied. It was very hectic and unfriendly. Then we were taken to our table, where the guests were just getting up. The table full of dishes. We expected a properly commemorated table. I asked the waiter for a new tablecloth, but the dirt was only wiped off. Now we finally came to rest and placed our orders. My son chose an appetizer. It is usual for the main course to be served when the starter is finished. Here he just started the starter and all the main courses were already there. Comfortable is something else. Mass processing is more likely. The food was average, path. When we went to check out the waiter was very unfriendly because no tip was paid. Honestly, we know how hard the job is and really appreciate good service and always give tips. But the stay here just wasn't nice.

Quality mediocre food. The ambience is quite nice, but the smell and the condition of the sanitary facilities are shocking. It smelled so horrible that you didn't feel like eating anymore. The waiter was superficially nice at first, but when the table was about to be occupied again, we were politely asked how long we would be there for. The price of the food doesn't match the quality and as an emergency solution during the crowded Christmas season it's ok.

Nice atmosphere and good food too. The service is just terrible! The waiter named Nico is so unfriendly and rude that we will definitely not visit this restaurant again.

We had a family reunion here. The food was good and plentiful, but unfortunately we were asked to leave after almost two hours. Maybe you should point out when making your reservation that you can only stay for 2 hours. It's a shame, our evening ended very abruptly.

Even though it was very busy, the service was very nice and friendly. Starters were very good. Unfortunately, the main courses weren't quite as good. There were no spices, everything was a little too bland and the Gorgonzola sauce was more of a cream sauce.

We were served by Hanif - despite a lot of people and work, he was absolutely friendly, calm and had everything perfectly under control. Great guy and did a great job!!! This is how eating out is fun 👍👍👍. Thanks Hanif!!!

I haven't eaten such a dry lasagne in a long time. The waiter was so annoying, stood next to you the whole time and wanted a passport photo. The food came quickly, but as I said, it didn't taste good. The ROMA burger wasn't exactly the best either.

Actually good service. Unfortunately, more than 2 requests for mayo and ketchup with the fries, for example, were ignored or forgotten. Tabasco was offered to sharpen and not brought. 3x faux pas is a bit much🧐🤔 Basically a very good restaurant.

The Ristorante Roma in Erfurt is a real highlight for lovers of Italian cuisine. I was particularly impressed by the beef steak – perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavor. The recommended red wine goes perfectly with it, rounding off the dish perfectly and making the taste experience even more intense. The combination of first-class meat and excellent wine makes Roma the first address in Erfurt for me when it comes to fine Italian food. A wonderful place for connoisseurs!

We ate cake, ice cream and waffles here. Cake and coffee/cappuccino are offered as a cheap “menu” between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Cake and ice cream were good, the waffle was very crispy. Overall solid and recommended for a “cake stop”.

We had to wait a long time until a waitress finally came after a show of hands... He was particularly less motivated... We ordered coffee twice. Coffee was good. “Payment” was also a long time coming; it was then said “it’s not my table…”. So the service needs to be improved a bit... and the friendliness. I can't judge the food. But I wouldn't visit this restaurant again because of the "first" rather negative impression!

The food was amazing. We ordered the tomato soup, which was garnished with baguette slices and a dollop of cream on top. It tasted great, but unfortunately, it was served cold. We also had pasta Bolognese and carbonara— I preferred the carbonara. We will definitely go again!

It was my first time visiting this city and I was looking for lunch. People were asked to sit relatively strongly. The food was shockingly very little, of poor quality and not from a lunch special. Next to it there were 6 individual small fries... When it comes to beer, opinions can be divided. Feldschlösschen is not a good choice. Is there no regional beer? Especially with the many tourists there.

It was a wonderful late summer evening in the beautiful state capital Erfurt. Himmelreich Castle guests are always directed here to let the Anger work its magic on them in a cozy atmosphere. The Thuringian Rostbrätl is still a top recommendation. The Kingdom of Heaven says keep it up 😀✝️

Last night we ate with the family, 13 people, at Ristorante Roma, which had a separate room, which was ideal for our get-together. We were welcomed with a free welcome drink, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress Lorena was extremely friendly and attentive. All dishes ordered, from starter to main course to dessert, were delicious, highly recommended the surprise starter. The crowning finale was a free farewell drink, which rounded off the evening perfectly. Overall, highly recommended

Service very very slow. Regular customers passing by were more likely to be seen chatting. The waiter didn't care at all about the guests. I didn't like it. (It was on the outside terrace!!!!) I can't judge from inside, I wasn't.

Unfortunately I cannot report positively about my last two visits to this restaurant. First we went there for coffee, the cake was a small piece and not fresh. There were four strawberries on the strawberry sour cream cake, which were already mushy. A week later we were there for dinner. The pasta with curry sauce and broccoli I ordered was out of the bag, the broccoli florets came from the freezer and the sauce tasted terrible and had little to do with curry. All in all, no more than 1 star because the service tried hard.

The food was delicious and came very quickly. Unfortunately my wife received the wrong food, which was replaced relatively quickly.

Al principio, nos ofrecieron dos vasos de prosecco, que deben haber sido abiertos hace unas 10 horas y traídos a Aldi, repugnante, por favor no los bebas. Luego, pedimos dos cosas simples como una carbonara y una lasaña. La carbonara fue hecha con crema... ¿crema? y toneladas de ella... y ni siquiera un poco de panceta, solo un poco de jamón cuadrado cortado... En cuanto a la lasaña, estaban TAN SALADAS, que nunca me complico con la comida, pero tuve que dejar más de la mitad porque no era comestible. ¿Cómo puede ser tan difícil hacer un plato tan simple y clásico para un “restaurante italiano”? Eso no ha terminado, cuando llamas al camarero para contarle tus inquietudes sobre la comida, él inmediatamente dijo de una manera pasiva - agresiva “no hay sal, es el queso que es salado y eso es normal”. Ni siquiera una disculpa, alguna compasión, ofreció cambiar u ofrecer algo a cambio. Sinceramente, espero que quien esté a cargo lea esto, porque debería considerar revisar sus platos y su personal, ¡porque hay algunos problemas reales aquí! No entiendo cómo la gente está contenta con sus platos y todavía vienen aquí a comer, ir al döner kebab justo al lado habría sido mejor y más barato. ¡NO QUIERO QUE NADIE VAYA A VIVIR UN MOMENTO TAN MALO! Como italiano, es simplemente una vergüenza para nuestra cultura culinaria. El peor restaurante de la historia.

Great location and service but food was so so during my visit in January of 2024. Would be prefect with a little better nourishment options in the implementation.

Unfortunately, Saltimbocca alla romana with Agli e olio was really bad. Completely overcooked spaghetti, pork instead of veal. It was on the menu but you don't understand it because there were also dishes with veal. So you have veal. The pieces of meat were more like cutlets with an extremely thick slice of ham. Unfortunately it didn't taste like sage at all. Explanation from the boss: the cuisine is not Italian but half Italian, half German and spaghetti al dente would not go with meat dishes. Very strange. But the pizza here is ok. Despite it. The boss said relatively clearly and not entirely in a friendly manner: Pay for your Coke, leave and don't come back!

The food is delicious. The staff reacts very rudely without tipping that you don't get anything to pack for 3 pieces of pizza. The table was dirty with cigarette ashes from the neighboring table. In the outside area.

Visited this restaurant again after a very long time and chose the outdoor area. The service took care of its guests quickly and courteously, and a house drink was served. The map (folder) is convincing, the agony of choice lies in the selection of food and drinks. Highly recommended, that's my rating.

We had the pizza calzone twice, it was totally oily and filled with almost only mushrooms and cheese. Plus it wasn't baked through. Were very disappointed.

Good food at a fair price. The homemade lemonade is also recommended in all flavors. The service was very friendly, but sometimes very inattentive. Every waiter seems to have their own row of tables and outside of that they are completely disinterested. That's why there are sometimes long waiting times for service.

Wollte spontan eben dort Mittag essen, nach meinen Einkäufen und wollte ein kleines Radler erstmal bestellen, frage höflich ob ich mit Karte bezahlen könnte & da sind die im Ernst der Meinung gewesen, nur weil ich erstmal ein Getränk bestellen will und mehr nicht, soll ich den Platz frei machen, da sie ja nur mit einem Getränk kein Geld machen würden, was eine Frechheit ist. Somit habe ich gesagt ich will kein Getränk mehr und essen werde ich hier auch nie wieder und bin gegangen sauladen

Very nice atmosphere with a large outdoor area and comfortable chairs. The pizza was very good and the price-performance ratio was great. The top service from Mr. Catalin is particularly noteworthy. Rarely have we been served so well and warmly. Totally recommended 10/10!

I really enjoy coming here, but I find it a shame in the summer that there is no area outside for non-smokers. Everywhere you go, you get full of smoke. Especially impossible when pregnant. An area for either smokers or non-smokers would be nice.

We just got a pizza on our hands, but we won't do it again. About 1kg of some cheap cheese was put on it and you didn't taste any of the actual pizza.

From the moment you enter the restaurant to the moment you leave it, you have an all-round feeling of well-being! It's not for nothing that the Ristorante is always very busy.
