We spontaneously booked a table for six people, and no one was disappointed. Attentive service, delicious vegetarian dishes, fish, meat, and an excellent pizza!

I have to say, this is a top-class Italian restaurant! You eat with your eyes, and you won't be disappointed. Instead, you'll hardly want to eat it because it looks so amazing. The pizza tastes amazing. Thanks for the attentive and friendly service!

The shop was fantastic, and the food was delicious. We got a table on the spot. My family and I will be back the next evening. Lovely shop in a lovely city.

Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied because the service didn't really pay attention to details. The tablecloth at our table wasn't fresh—crumbs and small stains from previous guests were there. The wine glass and small carafe had obvious chips—that's not how you give dishes to guests. I finally pointed this out, but the dishes ended up back in the dishwasher. One of the waiters addressed us informally and we noticed older guests being addressed as "young woman" and "young man." Completely inappropriate, in my opinion. The food was fine; the seafood on the pizza was fresh and varied, the dough delicious, but unfortunately, there was far too much cheese on it. The wine was also fine. See you next time? Not really.

The service was friendly, but not outstanding—rather solid, as you'd expect from a classic restaurant. The food is okay: Everything seems fresh and harmonious, but average. The outdoor ambiance in the beer garden is particularly nice—a relaxed atmosphere that I'd gladly return for. In summary: Solid Italian cuisine in a beautiful location with a good ambiance, but without a real wow factor. Ideal for relaxed evenings without great expectations.

I called, it went straight to voicemail, and it was very unreliable. I needed to reach my boyfriend, who was sitting at the table outside with three other girls, in an emergency. I'm sure the food is delicious, but I would appreciate it if they would answer the phone... even after several attempts.

The visit was a complete disappointment. The service was abysmal – unfriendly, inattentive, and completely disinterested. As a guest, you felt more like an intrusion than a welcome. The worst part came when paying: When paying by card, a larger tip was automatically deducted from your account without asking. This is absolutely unacceptable and leaves a very bitter aftertaste. This will definitely be my last visit to this restaurant.

Uncle Gianni is very friendly and takes great care serving food. No one can carry as many plates at once as he can.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food and drinks were excellent. Everyone was very friendly, except for one server, who seemed very confused during service and spoke in Arabic, seeming completely out of it. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The drink was good. A very unfriendly, older waiter. This gentleman seemed to be unfamiliar with the service. I will definitely not be going back to this place, as it's guaranteed to leave you in a bad mood, especially given the prices.

We were here with a large group and had made a reservation. All the tables in the restaurant were well set. We were served quickly. Special requests were completely ignored and dismissed with harsh and arrogant comments. Overall, the service was not particularly inviting. To rate the restaurant negatively as a whole doesn't do the place justice. The food wasn't your average Italian fare; it was good and offered good value for money.

I was rudely asked to leave the restaurant because I sat at a table without a reservation and asking. An older waiter was particularly unfriendly and irritated and even though he could barely express himself in German, I was expelled in a very unpleasant tone. There are other ways to address a customer. With my visit and every single person I can warn, this place will never be happy again.

A really nice Italian restaurant by the theater. The pizza and pasta was delicious! We particularly liked the openness towards our little daughter (9 months). The children's chair was freshly disinfected and the service was very family friendly!

The “grilled mozzarella” was wrapped like rubber in overcooked ham. 2 half mini tomatoes and that’s it. No, that was definitely a failure, what a shame. The restaurant only lives from the theater goers, i.e. from the location, who want to have something to eat beforehand.

The three of us were sent away in a very unfriendly manner with the statement that the kitchen had no more capacity. The restaurant was empty except for a large table with about 12 people. Capacity utilization is therefore estimated at less than 10%. I won't try again.

We wanted to get something to eat before the theater and that's how we came across this restaurant. There were three of us there and we ordered a pizza. All I can say is that I have never eaten such delicious pizza. We will definitely stop by more often

Food great, service top - you can eat very good Italian food here (not just after a visit to the theater). There are plenty of places both inside and outside and you can sit very well. There are also very good seasonal dishes, including an excellent selection of chanterelle plates in July. You will always be served in a friendly manner and with a smile.

I am currently in Erfurt with my family. We were just sitting outside at the “Ristorante Classico” on Theaterplatz. A mouse ran under the tables. A few guests were afraid of her, but they also laughed about the situation. However, restaurant employees then came to shoo them away. She was now a few meters away from all the tables when one of the employees kicked her away from behind. He really gained momentum so that the mouse flew in a high arc. She was then dead and swept away. A girl started crying. The woman who was most afraid shouted herself that the waiter couldn't do that.

The visit to Ristorante Classico was not nice. We hadn't made a reservation and were seated at the last table in front of the toilet. When we left after three quarters of an hour, there were still a few tables available outside, which would have been nicer for us to sit there. The ambience is a matter of taste, but the dirty tablecloth and the old curtain that blows in your face when the window is tilted are not. The Pizza Verdura is oversalted, the base is burnt and the vegetables are drowned in cheese, the lasagna tastes okay but is cold inside. The service is friendly, at least. No recommendation.

We were there on the day of the TOGGO TOUR and wanted to grab something to eat. There was really something going on and we were happy to get two small tables that we pushed together. Greeting was a bit expressionless. We were informed that the tables would be served separately. We had waiter number 1 and my girlfriend had waiter number 2. Which is totally fine. Next information was, due to the rush, the meal would take a while. Also understandable and completely okay. We had already ordered drinks while waiter 2 didn't show up for ages to greet the new guests or even take an order. At first he stood next to the restaurant smoking. After 15 minutes my friend was finally allowed to order drinks. The child wanted an ice cream sundae, but due to all the stress, it wasn't possible. That's what waiter 2 said. Only ice cream in the waffle. Why the ice cream cards were on display was questionable. Many of the tables around us were missing food, and many had to call out to the waiters to pay or order something else. No eye contact, no friendly service, no presence!!! Our food came quite quickly and tasted delicious, but the starter 5 slices of tomatoes with 5 slices of mozzarella and some ruccola was €10 and not even a bit of baguette or something similar... wow Out of spite, my girlfriend didn't order anything other than drinks. No wonder with the waiter. We had to order mayo and ketchup for the fries several times because we kept forgetting. There was no tip for this poor service. The waiter also disliked it, but from our side it was simply undeserved. Other tables around us also complained a lot. I myself have served for many years and have to say that these waiters could have earned good tips and made good sales that day. But if you work unfriendly, not cautiously and very clumsily, you shouldn't expect much. We won't eat there anymore.

What can you say about this restaurant? Table: You go there and politely ask for a table for 10 people outside. The waiter rudely says “NO!” Normally you would have had to leave now, but we did the wrong thing and someone else in our group asked for 2 tables for 5 people each - this was possible without any problems. An order: After 10 minutes the waiter comes back and asks for the order, you start listing the drinks and after the first drink the waiter walks away into the building without a word! After another 5 minutes he comes back and starts ordering again! We had 3 children with us, had 4 x spaghetti and 1 x pizza - actually it was even more complicated! One thinks! After another 10 minutes of waiting, a friendly colleague from the kitchen brings the pizza and 2x spaghetti - that's how we know Italian restaurants - super friendly! After another 5 minutes we asked the “friendly” waiter about the missing drinks - the answer was “yeah, I know!” Patience please!" After another 5 minutes we ask the waiter again about the 2 missing portions of spaghetti. The answer: “Spaghetti takes a while, be patient!” The first two portions of spaghetti were probably prepared differently because they were ready relatively quickly. The other two take time… for whatever reason! The first 3 people had finished eating by now, and now the “friendly” waiter brought the drinks. There is still no trace of the two portions of spaghetti that were served! So we ask again decisively! The answer: “The kitchen has one. If you make any mistakes, they will come straight away.” Lo and behold, after another 5 minutes the last two portions of spaghetti arrived. Eat: As expected, the food was tip-top and very tasty. Finally all that remains to say is: We can NOT recommend this restaurant, the negative points outweigh the negatives. Unfriendliness comes first, an absolutely faultless waiter who of course doesn't admit that he has made mistakes. It's a shame, but we've never experienced an Italian restaurant like this.

We got one last table outside next to the Erfurt Theater without a reservation. Lucky. Table reservation recommended from 6:00 p.m.!!!! Very nice service, quick service for drinks and food. Lasagna, pizza, pasta dish and salad, all tasted very good. We'd love to come back.

The food is ok. Unfortunately, the service at the Classico is at the bottom. We have often been to this restaurant in the past, but stayed away from it for a long time because of the unfriendly service. Today we tried again - without success. No thanks, no requests, orders are taken with absolute displeasure, glasses are literally slammed on the table, the bottle of water is opened and water is poured into the glasses - it's not even remotely thought of. It's really hard to beat when it comes to unfriendliness. I can't speak for the entire service, but definitely from a gentleman who obviously finds his job too much. So after a long time we were taught better and will no longer visit the restaurant.

Made a pre-booking for 4 people for lunch on a Sunday. The waiter greeted us friendly and showed us a table. The tablecloth seemed to have been from the previous day and unfortunately had not been changed. Everything about the food was very tasty, except for the pizza, which wasn't cut properly. When asked and asked to cut this into smaller portions, this was done "with a heavy heart", not without first noticing that it was actually quartered. As soon as you had emptied your glass, it was immediately put away. Nan felt like: "Now you can go." I don't think we'll see us here again any time soon.

The waiter was also more busy with his ordering cell phone than taking care of the guests (taking drinks). Very unfortunate. There are better Italians in Erfurt! Too bad, it's a nice restaurant!

The waiter must have had a grumpy day today. Maybe we didn't order enough (€30 per person) Spaghetti Carbonara and Spaghetti Italiano were chosen (according to the menu, with or without cream sauce). Came twice with cream sauce. The answer to the question was that it was with more sauce and sometimes with less sauce and otherwise there was no difference between the two dishes. We didn't notice any difference on the plates. This, coupled with what we consider to be an arrogant manner of service, will mean we will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Das Classico ist ein kleines, aber feines Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr lecker 😋. und der Service hat auch gepaßt. Zu erreichen ist es auch sehr gut, mit Bus 🚌 und Bahn 🚆. Ich habe mich wohl gefühlt.

Sehr schön und keine Massenabfertigung wie anderswo in Erfurt. Preise für das geleistete sind angemessen. Wir hatten beide Risotto, beides war sehr gut.

Sehr nettes Personal und tolle Ambiente. Das Essen (Pizza) war lecker und sehr zu empfehlen.
