The best Italian good in Erfurt nice atmosphere nice location!!

We had a Christmas party here. The service was very friendly, the food was ok, but the beer was changed every now and then and it just didn't taste good anymore. However, the house beer was good again.

We were there today with our friends - including 6 children aged 0-10. From the beginning we felt like we were unwanted. The service itself was friendly but slow. For me it's absolutely incomprehensible: our children played in the area behind the restaurant, which could be accessed through a glass door. The waiters were annoyed that the door was opened every now and then and locked the door without speaking to us or anything. EVEN THOUGH OUR CHILDREN WERE STILL OUTSIDE!!!!!! Absolute no-go! I'm still pissed. After we left relatively abruptly, the restaurant manager said that next time we should let them know that we have 'so many' children, then we could be scheduled into a separate room. I'm still speechless!

We had dinner at Hopfenberg today on Boxing Day. The menu was extremely small. No supplements were shown. We then got the salmon we wanted. Unfortunately it wasn't cooked through, even though we specifically asked for it beforehand (previous bad experience). Add a few pieces of jacket potatoes and some broccoli. Overall a negative experience that will keep us away in the future. It's a shame, it used to be a good restaurant.

A great atmosphere with a wonderful view over Erfurt. A mega service, very accommodating and friendly. Glasses were constantly refilled. We had beef carpaccio, prawns and a wonderful caramelized goat cheese. Main courses were also a poem. I can only recommend a visit.

Keiner kochte bis jetzt schlechter! Von vorne, als Vorspeise die typischen Bruschetta - hier als besonderes Highlight mit trockenen Origano überschwemmt. Danach folgten Tagliatelle leicht scharf - mit mehr roten Chillies als Fleisch, was soll man sagen- bitte kein offenes Feuer nun. Tagliatelle mit Champions, Zucchini und Hähnchen in einer Sauce mit etwas zuviel Stärke versehen, dafür Zucchinis zum Suchen - Herz was willst Du mehr. Das vergessene Pizzabrot wurde quasi als Nachspeise serviert- echt schade, das hätte noch zumindest was werden können, aaber total versalzener geteilter Pizza Fertigboden übergossen mit hochwertigem Metro Olivenöl- stand zumindest am Tisch. Tja, mit Italienischer Küche hat das leider nichts zu tun. Schade. Die Servicekräfte können einen hier echt leid tun, denn diese sind durchweg freundlich- wenn auch bei Bestellannahme etwas schludrig. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

The food was delicious. However, we were there with 12 people and unfortunately the food was delivered mixed up. Some of them hadn't even received their starters yet and some of the main meals had already been delivered. 1 meal was completely forgotten. Apparently because the pizza ovens were too full. When it came to dessert, we thought everything would work out. Wrong thought. An ordered Kaiser Schmarrn was invoiced but not delivered. And it was insisted that the invoice was now printed out and that Kaiser Schmarrn should also be paid. All in all, food when it comes is very tasty. And you should look at the bill carefully.

Revised review: The first time was absolutely disastrous: bad service and inedible food. If I could have given 0 points back then, I would have done so. In fact, I was invited there two more times by chance after that. The food and service were good both times. The volume inside was unpleasantly loud (also due to the music). Therefore on average 3/5. Highly priced.

The food is ok but expensive. However, the service is very bad. No smiles, orders are forgotten, even though there are obviously a lot of waiters there, no one has any insight. When we received a friendly criticism about a drink we didn't get, we received insults below the belt in response. Was our last visit after several attempts. It's a shame about the beautiful restaurant it once was.

Essen ist ok, aber teuer. Der Service geht allerdings gar nicht. Iwie viele Kellner da, aber keiner hat eine Ahnung. Lächeln Fehlanzeige. Bestellungen werden immer wieder vergessen. Nach einer freundlichen Kritik bekommt man Beleidigungen als Antwort. Das ist echt unterirdisch. Wir waren nach mehreren Versuchen das letzte Mal da. Schade um das schöne Restaurant dass es mal war, vor allem wegen dem schönen Biergarten

The service can hardly be described as such. Rude, slow and unavailable. The dishes were piling up, the glasses were empty and it stayed that way for a while. The prawns that were served were almost mush, so they were definitely no longer fresh. After the main course, I ordered the cheese plate with honey and fresh fruit. I would have gladly given up this pleasure. It started with the order, the waiter didn't even know that this dish was on the menu, and the chef most likely didn't either. After a good 40 minutes, the order finally came when asked, but half of it was missing, "We don't have any fruit" and secondly, the cheese didn't go well with the honey. Half a Gorgonzola, a mountain of Gouda with pieces of pepper and 2 small crumbs of hard cheese were served. Thank you for the heartburn. Of course, the entire cheese plate was calculated. The ambience is probably the best thing about this place. We won't be coming back any time soon.

Well, it was my second time here and I think that was it. For the last time: We had pizza, mine was very tasty, but my friend's had way too much toppings and we couldn't finish it after less than half of it. The starter (bruschetta), however, was very tasty. The service was okay and he asked if everything was OK, which was very nice. All in all we were very satisfied and would have given it 4 stars. Today: We arrived and got a seat outside. You have to say, the atmosphere is very nice and the beer garden is great. That was the highlight of today's visit, along with the bruschetta (which was just as good as last time). So the drinks came quickly, but we had to wait a relatively long time to get them. So and then at some point we ordered food. The appetizer came and then we were allowed to wait. Wait a very long time. We were allowed to watch other people get their food, even though they had entered the restaurant much later. Our table next door just wanted to pay and no one came. The appetizer plates weren't cleared away for at least 30 minutes after the meal and we were basically ignored like the table next door. At some point we got our plates of pasta and I have never eaten such bad salmon pasta. Normally I always find something good about food, but not this time. Carelessly loaded onto the plate, no salt, no pepper. We took the latter from the neighboring table; the waiter wouldn't have noticed if we had wanted it anyway. There were maybe three small pieces of salmon in the portion and one piece tasted like just thawed and unseasoned frozen salmon. From that point on I was further disappointed by my bad tasting food and I didn't eat it again. All in all we were very dissatisfied. This restaurant is a prime example of why you should simply cook at home. It's cheaper and in the end it tastes good too.

Eating so-so. Service not really available. At some point you will either be served with very long waiting times and then completely ignored. The ambience is nice and there is a great view from the Hopfenberg. It used to be a very nice traditional restaurant when it wasn't yet Italian!

Schade, ich hätte mich gern direkt beim Hopfenberg Team bedankt, aber die Mail wird nicht gesendet ... Also auf diesem Wege vielen Dank für den schönen Abend, alles war sehr lecker der Service freundlich, schnell und umsichtig, wir haben wunderbar unter den alten Kastanien gesessen und hatten einen schönen Sonnenuntergang. A very nice Italian restaurant on the southern edge of Erfurt with a great beer garden with a beautiful view of Erfurt. As expected...it's worth reserving a table before indulging your taste buds...

We are regular guests and can only recommend the restaurant to everyone. A modern Italian restaurant with high quality food and a beautiful outdoor area with a great view. Conclusion: Delicious food in a great atmosphere!

It is a beautifully decorated historic building on the outskirts of Erfurt, with a wonderful view over the state capital. In the summer you can definitely spend some time outside here. I was there in the cold or cool season - we didn't have winter. Nevertheless, I immediately noticed that there was hardly any heating. OK. Maybe the food can warm me up. The waiter looked somewhat Italian, but didn't understand a word of this wonderful language. Ok, that's not necessary, then he probably wasn't from Italy, but from a different origin. But then he explained to me that pizza doesn't work without cheese, it doesn't work without mozzarella, it doesn't taste good, I have no idea. Well, there must be a reason why I wanted pizza without cheese🙄. This has never happened to me before, neither in Erfurt nor elsewhere and certainly not in Italy. So as an alternative I used a kind of pizza bread, i.e. pizza dough with a touch of onions and spices, some fresh basil on top and a few cold tomato pieces. The price was totally overpriced for that, and then the plate was colder than the restaurant, not even preheated, so after a few bites the thing was totally cold🤔. Respect for asking for something more in return. Well, then I just ordered a dessert: Panna Cotta... actually a really delicious dessert that can be varied in many different ways. I've had it fresh with chocolate, with forest berries, with caramel, with nuts and whipped cream, etc. Here we had the panna cotta with strawberry icing in a dessert bowl... in short: carelessly prepared, too firm and totally over-sweetened. If you don't know any different, okay. But it wasn't something to remember fondly. Sorry, but that's how it was.

We visited this restaurant as part of a small family celebration. Nice service. The service lady checked regularly to see if there were any requests. My octopus dish was very tasty. The other guests had steak, guinea fowl, ... various dishes. There was only positive feedback. The little boys were outside in the children's playground - which we could watch through the window from the guest room - and were having fun. Parking space at the house. Thank you for the wonderful time. Gladly again.

Delicious pizza, reasonable price. I find the pasta dishes too expensive for the relatively small portions offered. Relatively quick operation. Nice ambience if you don't have a view of the terrace towards Thomas Church. Unfortunately, parking availability is pretty limited.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal mit einer tollen Ausstattung. Das Essen kam ziemlich fix und es hat auch wirklich gut geschmeckt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und komme gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit 13 Personen im Restaurant und als erste Aktion wurden die Speisekarten in eine kleine Karte ausgetauscht. Dort bestellten mehrere ein Gericht für 21,- €. Nachdem für dieses Gericht dann 27,-€ auf der Rechnung erschienen, reklamierte ich beim Kellner. Daraufhin mischte sich der Inhaber lautstark ein und erklärte mir, das es ein Druckfehler auf der Karte wäre und die 27,-€ der reguläre Preis. Der Inhaber zeigte mir eine Speisekarte, auf der er meinte, dass dort 27,-€ für das Gericht aufgeführt ist aber es standen auch 21,-€ drauf. Wir bestanden auf eine Rechnungskorrektur und meine Frau musste sich Beleidigungen vom Kellner anhören. „Sie sind ein NICHTS“ wurde sie angepöbelt. Der Inhaber und seine Kellner sollten erstmal lernen, Gäste respektvoll zu behandeln. Die Speisen waren allesamt überteuert und geschmacklich sehr neutral.

Haben heute zum mitnehmen bestellt, Personal relativ freundlich, aber vermittelten den Eindruck wenig Lust auf die Bedienung der Leute zu haben. Das Resturant ist sehr edel eingerichtet und macht einen noblen Eindruck. Leider war das Essen nicht gelungen, die Speisen waren entweder gar nicht gewürzt oder versalzen, die bestellte Pasta und das Bruscetta schwammen im Fett. Wegen der schlechten Qualität des Essen würden wir dort nicht wieder essen und es auch nicht weiter empfehlen. Preis/Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt.

Es dauerte tatsächlich 1 Stunde, bis wir endlich das Essen bekamen. Die Bedienung war unfreundlich und auf Nachfragen richtig frech. Das Essen schmeckte gerade mal durchschnittlich, war dafür aber bei den kleinen Portionen recht teuer. Keineswegs zu empfehlen. Wir werden das Restaurant nicht wieder besuchen.

Gutes Restaurant mit Verbesserungsbedarf bei der Sauberkeit. Das Restaurant gefällt durch seinen großen und hellen Aufbau. Im unteren Bereich hat man das Vergnügen auf einen tollen Ausblick auf den Erfurter Süden. Die Bestellung wurde bei einem normal gefüllten Mittagsbetrieb in adequater Geschwindigkeit abgearbeitet. Der Service war aufmerksam, hielt sich aber auch angenehm im Hintergrund. Die bestellten Mahlzeiten waren hervorragend und auch die dafür angesetzten Preise waren leicht gehobenen, aber fair. Kritik gibt es nur beim Punkt Sauberkeit. Sowohl die wiederverwendbaren Servietten waren bereits bei der Ankunft durch Lippenstift beschmutzt. Und auch gereichte Gläser waren gut sichtbar unsauber. Hier muss dringend noch einmal besser geschaut werden. Auch weil sich das Restaurant mit einem leicht gehobenen Stil schmückt, muss sowas einfach passen. Abseits davon gibt es keine Gründe zur Beanstandung.

Meine Freundin und ich waren am 29.10 2023 im Restaurant Hopfenberg zu Besuch .Das Ambiente und die Lage sehr ansprechend.Aber leider ist dies das einzige positive. Wir hatten beide Kalbsleber mit Kartoffelpüree . Ohne jegliche Garnitur und viel zu kleine Portion. Preis - Leistung Verhältnis stimmte überhaupt nicht. Geschmacklich war es gut, aber viel zu teuer .Keine Empfehlung für dieses Lokal .

Super Ambiente, guter service, toller Biergarten,lecker essen. Alles frisch zubereitet, allerdings etwas preisintensiver, was meines Erachtens gerechtfertigt ist. Rund um gelungen. Wir hatten schönen schön Abend und können den Italiener sehr empfehlen.

Sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant in einer ruhigen Lage, das Restaurant besticht durch ein gehobenes Ambiente, freundliche Kellner und das Essen schmeckte einfach nur hervorragend!

Mal ein etwas anderer Italiener, als die typischen Erfurter Gastro-Italiener, bei denen man nur 5 Minuten auf Essen wartet! Der Service war nicht so gut, man hat recht lange (20 Minuten) auf Getränke gewartet und auch auf die Rechnung. Das Essen war sehr gut, frisch und toll zubereitet.

Essen ist relativ ok , schöne Einrichtung und nettes Personal, jedoch lange Wartezeiten. Das Essen ist auch nicht besonders billig😉

Erfurts schönste Sommerterrasse, Antipastivariation vorbildlich, comme in faut, Pasta gut al dente mit unterschiedlichen Sugos, Scampis kleinkalibrig aber wohlschmeckend, Vitello tonnato durchgegart aber nicht trocken mit feiner Sauce. Insgesamt seriöse italienische Cuccina, die man empfehlen kann.

Man darf hier nicht trinken wenn man nichts verzehrt. Schlechte Gastronomie, ist mir in meinem Leben noch nie pasiert. Kann man nicht hingehen!!!

Das Ambiente dort ist sehr schön. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Nudeln waren auf den Punkt. Unser Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und umsichtig. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Mein Essen war wirklich super lecker (Nudeln) und auch die Pizzen sind geschmacklich gut. Das Kalbsschnitzel allerdings war sehr sehr schlecht. Für 25 Euro bekommt man deutlich besseres Essen. Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend da. Zuerst mussten wir eine halbe Stubfe auf unsere Getränke warten und noch weitere 45 Minuten auf unsere Vorspeisen, welche geschmacklich exzellent waren. Die Hauptspeisen kamen getrennt an. Die Pizza nach nochmal 45 Minuten warten und das Schnitzel und die Nudeln noch eine halbe Stunde später, als die anderen schon fertig waren mit essen. Der Kellner war sehr nett und freundlich aber leider auch überfordert. Alles in allem geschmacklich Top, allerdings viel zu teuer.
