Had dinner there today, March 1, 2025, around 12:45 p.m. I ordered the BURRITO BOWL "BBQ RIBS" = fried and grilled ribs tossed in BBQ sauce, onions and mild peppers. Underneath the description of the burrrito it said: = Ours Burrito bowls are served with rice = For someone who can't read the map properly anyway. Everything was a bit small and very colorful, the writing wasn't good, it was hard to see that there was anything else there. Anyway, the dish came with rice and not burritos. The waiter Sebastian asked me again "with rice", but I thought it was included in the burritos All in all, I didn't particularly like it. (It's a matter of taste) When I asked him about it again, he pointed it out to me on the menu. No matter, as a small compensation I got a free espresso.

There was a tasty and rich buffet. Gladly again at any time.

A very good restaurant. We attended the buffet to experience various Mexican dishes. As a meat fan, I really enjoyed it, and I told the chefs that you could watch them prepare it.

It wasn't the worst Mexican restaurant but if you are vegetarian, there is really not much choice - if any. They offer a lot of vegan dishes with some oil based spread instead of cheese. I asked for the real cheese and got some bits of it. Could be greatly improved that is for sure and kind of pricey too. Not coming back here...

You can enjoy cocktails very well there, whether inside or outside. Food was okay, my crispy tacos weren't that crispy and it didn't really suit my taste, but tastes are different, unfortunately I found it a bit expensive 3 tacos €19.90. We reserved a table in advance, it's easy via the website. We'd love to come back.

Had a spontaneous meal there last night. The staff welcomed us in a friendly manner. We ate a buffet there and it was my first time eating something like that and eating a buffet was my first experience and I have to say it was super, super tasty. There was a lot of choice where everyone could find what they were looking for. The price was also right for this delicious meal. Maybe a little tip from my side is to have chairs ready for smaller children. Unfortunately, my niece saw it far too deeply and quickly lost interest in eating, which is unfortunately a shame. But otherwise everything was great.

We went to the evening BBQ buffet. Booking a table is an advantage! There was a wide selection of food and dessert. The service was very friendly.

Highly recommended, but definitely make a reservation. We were invited to the buffet meal. There was always plenty of everything, and if something was needed, it would all be refilled. In terms of taste, everything I was able to try was very tasty. It is also very comfortably furnished. We'll definitely be back.

I went there for brunch with the family; The staff in advance is very friendly and personable, and above all motivated. The atmosphere seemed quite comfortable to me, everyone felt comfortable and the food was good too. No complaints at all, everything was prepared perfectly and was clearly presented at brunch. Wonderful place to briefly enjoy the Mexican flair, from the ambience accompanied by very pleasant music, to the super friendly service, to the delicious food! We spontaneously went to the buffet on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. and got a place for three people without any problems. Larger groups should reserve. The selection is varied, including plenty of vegetarian options. The price of around €27 for the buffet is justified. Personal service, all the employees we came into contact with were very courteous and in a good mood despite the full house. Thank you! :-)

We had a lovely evening there yesterday. The food was very good, but for me personally it was a little under-spiced. But since we were there for the buffet, that makes sense since not everyone likes spicy food. I would like to eat there again à la carte. The staff was great! Thank you! Note: For people who are not good on foot, it is a good idea to ask when making a reservation whether there is a table available downstairs because the restaurant is on two levels. And also important, you first have to go up a flight of stairs to get into the restaurant.

The service was excellent, quick, friendly and unobtrusive. Big praise. The buffet was very good, there was a wide selection for every taste, including vegetarian.

Have a Mexican breakfast in Erfurt? Arriba! Arriba! There's a great mix at the buffet: Mexican specialties and classic delicacies. We went there twice with the family: it was always delicious! A very good service, very family friendly. The ESPITAS is also coolly decorated. Very funny and creative. This is a real eye-catcher for the Erfurt/Thuringia region! We'd love to come back.

Good restaurant with an appealing atmosphere. Food was great. Price performance is very good. 10 wings, corn on the cob, potato wedges and 0.5l beer for €28.50. Couldn't be any better. Very nice staff.

We were traveling in Erfurt and spontaneously decided on Espitas. Super good food, nice staff, great ambience. The staff was present but not intrusive. Even our 10 year old was thrilled. We'll definitely be back.

I was with you on Saturday with my godchild. The atmosphere was unusual but pleasant. Your cola tastes really, really good. The roasted maggots were also delicious. You can do it sometimes, but I wouldn't come visit you regularly.

We can only recommend this Mexican restaurant. The choice of food was so extensive that you didn't know what to take. We came especially from Mühlhausen. It was worth it after all. We'll be back. It was very nice there, the food was delicious and came very quickly. There is a play area for children to pass the time the child has to wait for the food.

Wir waren schon mehrfach dort. Aber nicht wegen des des geschmackfreien Essens, sondern um einen "Zombie" zu trinken.Gestrrn jedoch wurden wir geschockt. Ich habe mir am Buffet einen Teller Essen geholt. Meine Begleiterinnen haben vom meinem Teller gekostet. Am Ende wurden uns 3 mal Essen am Buffet berechnet. Das und die völlig unmotivierte unfähige Bedienung, die gepfefferten Preise ließen uns zu dem Entschluß kommen, dieses unangenehme Lokal künftig zu meiden. Service geht anders !

Nice ambience. It was still decorated for Día de Muertos. The food is very tasty and the portions are large. The service is very nice. I found it funny that there were postcards on every table that the restaurant then sent out for you. Recommended!

We were there for the buffet, the price was just under €30 per person excluding drinks. Advantage: you don't have to wait for your food, the buffet was always well filled. Disadvantage: The waiter worked at a snail's pace and that evening was all about drinks! We had to wait half an hour for 4 of 6 drinks. We observed the same thing at the other tables. Later drinks were brought straight to the wrong tables. Definitely needs to practice again here... Children's buffet consists of semolina porridge and chicken nuggets

Very large Mexican restaurant with buffet style. You can eat as much as you want for €30. Drinks not included. Reservations are recommended on weekends There is a particularly large choice of 'tasty' dishes and dessert. Very friendly staff and very nicely decorated. There is an upper and lower floor and the whole is wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended

Well, something always happened, so the reservation worked out even though there was no response. The staff was friendly but unfortunately overwhelmed when the restaurant was a little over half full. Salt pepper cutlery etc belongs on the table also saves time. The drinks had long since been empty by the time the food arrived and more drinks were only ordered when paying.

Super delicious food as always. The atmosphere is great and the waitress is always friendly. Only the “chairs” could use some work. Unfortunately, comfortable is something else.

Great ambience, moderately high prices, good taste, but it needs to be kept a little too warm under a huge platter of meat. Otherwise you have to eat everything at a speed so that you can eat it while it's still warm, but you still can't manage it.

Went there for the BBQ brunch, the food was very tasty and there was a large selection. Unfortunately we sometimes waited 30 minutes for our drinks. Otherwise the service was very friendly.

A restaurant with a Mexican food hall feel. Absolutely nothing to chat about while eating or just try something out. You should bring your time, just 45 minutes waiting time for your order is borderline. All in all, you can definitely try it out, maybe there will be better days.

We have been here several times and always enjoy coming back. The food is tasty and there are delicious cocktails (with and without alcohol). The service is friendly and courteous, even when things are stressful because there is usually a lot going on in the evenings. That's why I would definitely recommend reserving a table in advance. This is also super easy to do via the website.

We were there on September 26th, 2024. The service was great and so was the food. This was my second time there. Our waiter Sebastian was very friendly and attentive. But the others always had a smile on their faces too.

Even though I personally don't like Mexican food at all, (except for the nachos🌚) I think it was totally delicious. I had the Enchiladas Club Style (4th picture) and the strawberry lemonade, which also tasted extremely good, personally recommended if you like that kind of thing! If you order the Natchos without anything, you might want to order two dips as well, otherwise one isn't enough. The atmosphere is lovingly decorated in Mexican style and the service was also very nice! (Simon, he introduced himself) So all in all it was very good even though I'm a very picky person.

Waiting times for food are the biggest problem here. 1 hour and more. So bring plenty of time and a good thirst.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. I think 4 tacos for €20 is completely excessive. Since I have an aversion to onions, before ordering I asked if it was possible to have dishes without onions. Unfortunately I was told this was not possible and had to choose another dish. Still, I ended up with onions in my food – very disappointing. The restaurant is also located almost on the outskirts of Erfurt and not in the center, so the price is not justified. We were also put in a small room with many other guests, which wasn't very comfortable. The table was sticky and looked very worn. Overall the visit was very unsatisfactory.

The last frass. Stars can be awarded for ambience, cocktails and service. Food was a disaster. I had spare ribs and my wife had pulled pork. Both need to be put in the smoker for several hours to be properly prepared. Our food was fried or boiled and covered with a lot of sauce to mask the taste. Therefore no recommendation from my point of view. You can certainly eat a burrito or similar dishes, but please don't expect good meat.

The food was pretty average. I had BBQ rib tacos. The tacos were very unequally filled, for example one had a large amount of spring onion, the other had none at all. In addition, there were only a few diced onions on two tacos, which didn't make any difference in terms of taste. The small "salad" on the plate, next to the tacos, could have been saved. This was completely dry and bitter. The meat and the sauce, however, were quite ok.

We have been visiting this location for many years. A large parking lot and a German-Mexican feel-good atmosphere 😉, unfortunately on the last visit the food left a very average impression for the first time at an unfortunately very high price..... because we were very big fans we will undoubtedly come back, hopefully then with a better price-performance ratio

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

Four of us were there for dinner today and it was wonderful. Sebastian was super accommodating and nice. We ordered a bit of everything (various margherita, tacos, enchilada, burito and everything was great. We mostly had the vegetarian versions, which we can highly recommend We'd love to come back. The staff was simply not friendly, the friendliness could be improved and it seemed listless. The welcome was just bad, even for Erfurt... The food wasn't traditionally Mexican, it was too Europeanized... The price-performance ratio was not given. I felt like I was being mass processed... At first glance the restaurant was clean and nice, but the second look was disappointing. There was no good advice at the table, it was too much effort... The quality has decreased. Only the prices have increased, which is fine. Then everything else has to fit

The portions are large, but their pulled pork tacos were tasteless and dry. Enchiladas with chili con carne were ok, but nothing more than that.

There is nothing there, nothing at all to criticize. From the reception to the farewell, we only experienced friendly and helpful staff who also asked every now and then whether everything was OK, you immediately notice that as a guest you are the center of attention and not on the sidelines. Great value for money, the food selection is great, if you can't find anything there you shouldn't go to a restaurant. The ambience and furnishings match the country. We'll be back soon. We were at Espitas for the first time on July 6, 2024 at 6 p.m. and were totally impressed from the start by this restaurant and the warmth we experienced. Thanks to the whole team at Espitas Erfurt, you are great, keep it up.

Went there for the first time today, the food, ambience and service were first class. The food came very quickly, we had just finished the appetizer and the beautifully prepared tacos arrived. Everything was very hot and tasted at a very high level. Very friendly and attentive service. You'll see me there more often now.

We were a group of 8 people during a European Championship game, so no crowds of guests. The food took quite a long time and came very differently, which was a shame.

Nice place, definitely an experience and the prices are good compared to Denmark, however, be aware of which drinks you order and ask for a taste test if you are in doubt, we were very full from the main course and could not finish, however the starter (nachos+ dip) not very big but the price was not high either. However, they could be better as they were half cold and soft in a bad way. A visit and the staff is good 👍

Four of us stayed at Espitas while visiting Erfurt. You can be on the safe side by making a reservation by telephone. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table. At first you are overwhelmed by the choice of food. Drinks are lighter, so these first. With a little time and help, the food selection would be done. We didn't wait long for the drinks and appetizers. Chilli poppers and cheese nachos were a successful start. For main courses we had tacos, chemical hangar and a bowl. Everything was hot, tasty and well prepared. Afterwards we had two desserts to share and we were completely full and satisfied. It was a wonderful evening and we will come back when the opportunity arises.

I would call it an experience restaurant because you get a lot of Mexican flair for your money. The menu is large and the buffet, which takes place on certain days of the week, also offers a wide selection. I always like to come back ;)

We've been here again for a long time, had a birthday party, were surprised that there wasn't a buffet meal, so we ordered a grill plate for 2 people and the whole thing twice with various little things and in the end there was quite a lot left over... but it was ok to pack up and take with you motto. Otherwise, a very cozy evening was spent with a very nice atmosphere and the staff was also great... keep it up, we always enjoy coming here.
