Visiting Berlin for the first time with a vegan friend, and for lunch, I suggested this place. It is not near touristic attraction but going at this restaurant was really a good surprise. Service is nice and the food is excellent. The cafe sua da was made with Vietnamese coffee, the taste was as the one you can get in Vietnam.
Italian Charlotte – unfortunately only 1/5 stars
This is really something: I've been going here at least three times a week for the past seven weeks and I dutifully leave at least 50 cents – because you're not supposed to skimp! But it's like a mafia drama here, only without the good pasta.
You order takeout, you get a number, and you're told to wait outside because the place is so small. Then, two weeks ago, the spectacle happened: Our numbers 17 and 18 were suddenly called in whisper mode, while everyone else was shouted loudly. So I politely went in and asked which number she had fried. Bam, a rude response: "Don't put us under so much pressure! If it's too slow for you, you can go somewhere else!" Aha. I didn't know that politely asking for numbers here was like a mafia interrogation.
Today I thought to myself: "Come on, bury the hatchet!" So I went back. Two people in front of me who took forever to order two pizzas and then wanted to pay when they picked them up – no stress, and apparently they weren't under any pressure. Then I got there, said a friendly "Hello" – BOOM! Another announcement: "We're full!" Aha, and that only applies to me? I left, but came back (because it's not that easy). "Do you have any problem with me?" – after all, I'm a regular, friendly, and I tip regularly. Her rude response: "I don't want to be pressured by you anymore!" Aha, because I asked once what number she had given me and because I said a friendly hello.
Conclusion: If you want to immerse yourself in a free televised melodrama about personal feuds, go ahead. If you want to eat and avoid the pressure cooker of emotions, go somewhere else! The food is actually very good and inexpensive, but I won't be going there anymore.
The aroma of croissants and coffee filled the entire square in front of this small, cozy café, so I invited myself here for breakfast. They have a wide selection of fresh croissants at really great prices. I highly recommend you try it!
A feast for the senses! Refined Korean-based delicacies with regional ingredients that will explode your taste buds. Rounded off with pairing drinks (unusual wines and exceptional non-alcoholic drinks), the evening at NaNum was a real experience for us.
Exquisite service with expert advice on all dishes and drinks are top notch.
Overall verdict: world class!!!
I am a regular here. The food tastes so good every time. The owners are a lovely couple, and the prices very cheap. I recommend this place to everyone who asks me about nice places to eat in Berlin.
The dishes are plentiful and very tasty, the environment is bright and the waiter is extremely qualified, kind and polite, the value for money is excellent.
An Authentic Egyptian Culinary Experience – Highly Recommended!
I had the pleasure of dining at Koshary Cairo and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that truly reflected Egyptian culture.
The menu offered an impressive selection of authentic dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor. I especially enjoyed Koshary Bel-Kharouf, which had the perfect balance of spices and textures.
