Okay, it was a Sunday evening and very busy, but waiting an hour for food is a bit unreasonable, especially since rice and chicken chili isn't that complicated. The chicken wasn't tender, it was more rubbery. Maybe I was just unlucky?
Amazing food. I've traveled extensively around Greece and its traditional restaurants, and this is one of the best I discovered in Berlin. Delicate, traditional, and non-touristy cuisine.
The owner is super kind and friendly.
Great food, excellent service!
However, for a restaurant specializing in dumplings, we found them to be less than impressive. They were rather dry, and the different flavors weren't very pronounced. There were no almond slivers, and if there was any butter at all, it was very little.
Therefore, we're only giving it 4 stars.
P.S.: The herring and winter salad would be outstanding!
There were two of us. The lentil soup was watery and tasteless, as if it were days old and had been topped up with water. The köfte baguette looked delicious at first, although we checked several times to make sure the meat was cooked through. The portion was large, but the taste was just so-so – I've felt a bit nauseous ever since. The service was very uninterested and the staff seemed to be in a bad mood. This was reflected in the food. You're better off going west for a decent köfte baguette.
Breakfast is now available! We traveled all the way from Rostock to experience the excellent cuisine, and we weren't disappointed. There's a lot of love and attention to detail. The breakfast tastes just as good as it looks. Since it was the first time they offered breakfast, there's still a little room for improvement, but ultimately it's better than you'd expect. Colorful, delicious, and with great, friendly service. The atmosphere is perfect. We'll be back. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
