Once again a great culinary experience at Catherine's! So much attention to detail and hospitality, you immediately feel at home, like having a French dinner with good friends in the living room. The dishes are perfectly coordinated and you can taste the excellent ingredients. And you can watch the preparation live. Thanks to the Melt team!

Absolutely incredible experience! Seasonal products of the highest quality, delicious dishes, cozy atmosphere and amazing wine. The service is also wonderful, it's very personal and the lady really takes the time to present and explain every single dish. I also loved the fact there's an open kitchen so you can see how the dishes are prepared. Overall it was an amazing experience, I'm looking forward to come again soon!

Thoroughly enjoyable meal, authentic French cuisine based on seasonal products. Gracious hostess, excellent open wine. With the cosy and elegant decor we felt like we were in Paris. A definite yes.

Good and refined cuisine but very expensive for the experience - there was no option under 69 euros per person - without drinks or bread included. They don't have toilets within the restaurant, you need to go next door. The wine selection is good but also quite pricy.

Wir haben bei Melt Bistro für meinen Geburtstag mehr als einen Monat früher reserviert für einen Mittwoch. 4 Tage vor unserem geplanten Abendessen, wurden wir gebeten ob wir früher kommen könnten. Obwohl wir es wegen unseres Feierabends verneint haben, das Restaurant hatte die Reservierung trotzdem storniert. Am Ende hatte die Leitung des Restaurants uns ein Art von „Gutschein“ angeboten, dass hat leider für uns nicht geklappt, da wir schon irgendwo anders reserviert haben. 4/5 weil die ganze Situation und die hin-und-her Emails uns ein bisschen anstrengend waren, aber schließlich hat das Restaurant uns gut behandelt. Wir hoffen, wir gehen da bald :)

What a curious little place. We stumbled in here after just moving to the area and midweek, luckily snagged a free table. It was a Michellin star like experience, from the fine dining, to the wine, to the exquisitely soft and moist hard crusted bread, to the service... in this tiny restaruant that could not seat more than 12 people inside. A joyous experience, we will return

Everything was great. Super friendly service and great food. The only downside was that toilet is in another building. We had great experience and will come back again.

Die Essensauswahl ist sehr eingeschränkt. Es gibt bzw gab lediglich 2 Menüs, bestehend aus 4 Gängen. Die Gänge selbst sind sehr gut angerichtet gewesen, die Qualität super, im Geschmack erstklassig. Mal darf auf keinen Fall als guter Esser bzw mit leerem Magen hingehen. Die Portionen sättigen, aber richtig satt wird man nicht. Die Menüs kosten jeweils 49 EUR pro Person (ohne Getränke), sehr heftig, bald zu heftig für die Gegend - auch wenn französische Küche grds teuer ist. Was viele auch schon bemängelt haben, bemängelten wir ebenfalls: es gibt kein Brot dazu - sehr schade Das Brot würde auch noch gut sättigen, was den Preis wieder relativiert Die Wirtin selbst ist nett und freundlich sehr bemüht. Wir saßen allerdings draußen am Gehweg bei der Straße. Man konnte sie sehr schlecht verstehen bei der Erklärung der Gerichte. Die Weine sind lecker, aber nichts für den kleinen Geldbeutel. Für einen schönen "eleganten" Abend zu empfehlen, aber nicht für zwischendurch wie "lass uns heute mal französisch Essen gehen".

Hier wird definitiv mit ganz viel Liebe gekocht und serviert. Es war wirklich sehr sehr gut. Fein abgeschmeckt und mit Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Vielen Dank für den zauberhaften Abend.

Amazing french cuisine unparalleled in Berlin with an interesting food concept from regional or home-grown ingredients, prepared with a creative spirit! I loved it!

Délicieux et service aux petits soins ! La qualité des plats et des vins est au rendez-vous. Je rejoins le dernier commentaire : pour le prix, les portions pourraient être un peu plus grandes et du bon pain manquait également.

Very nice atmosphere thanks to the friendly owner. Quality 3 course menu with original proposals. Nice wine list. 2 remarks though : the quantities were a bit too small and good bread was missing for a French restaurant.

Heute Abend habe ich ein Stück Frankreich in Berlin-Friedrichshain genießen dürfen. Und ich bin mir sicher: Die Geheimzutat zu jedem guten Essen ist die Wirtin, die jedem Gast die besondere Portion Aufmerksamkeit zuteil werden lässt. Wir hatten ein vorzügliches Menu und die empfohlenen Weine passten hervorragend dazu. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert, da es nur wenige Tische gibt. Delicious seasonal restaurant, very good presentation, friendly service and amazing flavors! I felt just like in France but in Friedrichshain. They offer only a menu (not at à la carte) for 49€ with 2 options: vegetarian or not. You can be sure that the quality is there!

Had a very special culinary experience. Delicious and entertaining plates created by Vincent the chef and the lovely team. We got lucky and met Vincent and he talked about the seasonal based changing menu. Loved every dish. A must visit.

The food is fantastic! Great french cuisine for a very reasonable price in the middle of Friedrichshain combined with delicious wines. And then the desserts! Can really recommend this place for romantic dinners and basically any other occasion where you would love some good food and wine! The staff is also very nice and helpful and I love the concept of having a whole menu with accompanying wines.

Bester Franzose Berlins ! Immer wieder einen Freude im Melt essen zu gehen, dass Essen lässt keine Wünsche offen und das nette Team schafft eine familiäre Stimmung :) Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Einer meiner liebsten Food Spots in Berlin, wenn es um authentisch - französische Küche geht. Egal ob süß oder herzhaft, hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten. Begleitet wird das Essen von phantastischen Weinen, die auf Empfehlung des Hauses, dieses großartige Erlebnis abrunden. Faire Preise und Lage sprechen ebenfalls für das Melt, jedesmal einen Besuch wert!

I come to melt occasionally and am never disappointed. It’s a small cute café with crêpes and pastries, perfect for brunch on the weekends. It’s also a good place if you want to get a glass of wine or two with friends in the evening. I can definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin! Especially if you want to feel a bit like in France

Dieses kleine französische Restaurant im schönen Friedrichshain ist ein wahrer Genuss. Zur Vorspeise eine gemischte Platte mit einer leckeren Auswahl an französischem Käse, Bresola und dazu ein leckerer Rotwein , welcher mir von Kathrin empfohlen wurde. Kathrin ist das Herz des Ladens und verzaubert jeden mit ihrem französischen Charme und ihrer ansteckenden guten Laune. Zum Hauptgang hatten wir Artischocken (Vegetarisch) und eine Art Hirschgulasch. Der Koch macht einen unglaublichen guten Job und beweist das jeden Tag aufs Neue! Die Küche ist offen und lädt ein einen Blick in die französische Küche zu werfen. Im großen und ganzen ist der Besuch ein Erlebnis für den Magen, für das Herz und für die Lachmuskeln. Sehr zu empfehlen!
