One of the best places to have dinner in Berlin right now. Focused food & wine menu, strong flavors, top notch service, great ambiance, very good value for money.

Every plate is a wonder of flavour and the presentation a masterpiece, the wine accompaniment exquisite and unique. I am thrilled by the culinary art - the best craftsmanship and the highest level of creativity in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very good food in a minimalist interior. The price for the 4-speed Menu is really fair. The dishes are all top, as is the selection. Delicious wines to go with it. Great recommendation!

Wow! What an amazing culinary spot in Berlin <3 The food was delicious, the service was super friendly, and the wines were superb! I ordered the vegetarian 4 course menu (it was extremely reasonably priced I may add) and left very full and very happy.

By very far the best experience I had in Berlin. Service was kind and helpful. Food to die for and very fair prices. We loved every minute and cannot wait for more.

I can't understand the extremely good reviews because the quality of the food was simply disappointing. The cheapest bottle of wine costs €47, which I find quite steep. I didn't find a single course on the tasting menu particularly convincing - the tartare was over-seasoned, the Camembert was very plain and uninspired, but the biggest problem was with the entrecote. the meat was way too tough. The dessert didn't convince me either because it lacked a balance in taste. The lemon sorbet was far too sour and the hazelnut cream, in contrast, was completely oversweet. The service was fine. I wouldn't come back.

Werkelijk gewéldige ervaring!! Ik kwam er toevallig. Ongelooflijk lekker eten en misschien wel beste toetje (citroenijs met vegan schuim…) ooit……!!

Wir waren zu dritt in der Holly Gastrobar und hatten einen schönen Abend. Sehr lauter Innenraum, dafür umso herzlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Essen ist sehr gut, wobei die Hauptgänge bei uns etwas abfielen im Vergleich mit den anderen Speisen. Weinauswahl ist hervorragend. Gerne wieder!

Holly Gastrobar is an absolute gem and was the best dining experience we had during an extended stay in Berlin. The four course set menu was highly diverse and each guest was able to select a different option, which was great considering one of our group had dietary requirements. The service was outstanding, as were the wine recommendations. Looking forward to coming back next time we are in Berlin!

- A recently found gem in Berlin - They generally offer a menu, but if you ask kindly, it’s not a problem to switch some dishes. And the food is pretty good. It ranges from good (Saucisson) to excellent (lamb). Usually, I’d give 4 Stars for it, but the service was stellar. The Brazilian couple running the place were so welcoming and nice and friendly, we absolutely loved it there! Oh, and trust their wine recommendations (even if she worked as a veterinarian before - she knows her stuff). You will not regret it and find some new favorites - just like this place. I’ll definitively come back.

Terrific food and service. The waiter recommended great wines for us. The citrus mousse dessert was possibly the best dessert I've ever had. Would go again.

Fine dining and an excellent experience all together! The four-course menu is good value, with great-tasting dishes in more than enough quantity. When I visited, I tried a beef tartar, baked camembert, pork with pak choi, and fior di latte ice cream as part of the menu, and additionally ordered the heavenly potato-bread with smoked butter. All dishes were well executed and truly delicious! The wine list offers very good choices (several by the glass too) and there is also a wine-pairing set to go with your menu. The welcoming, service and advice by co-owner Fernanda and her team (Matteo!) and chef were exemplary. Knowledgeable professionals and passionate about their guests' wellbeing. A restaurant worth coming back to again and again!

I have been wanting to try this place and was deeply disappointed. The four of us took the tasting menu and had two orders of each dish. The entrees were tasty. The aubergine and waffle dish was a weird combination with no flavour. The dessert with brownie, icing sugar biscuit had sorbet but the sorbet had no flavour. Wasn’t sure if that was intentional. If it was, please don’t do that. The pork was good but we noticed the tables next to us got significantly more pork than us - one slice of their pork was the equivalent of ours cut into two. The inconsistency was obvious and we couldn’t help but feel that because we were four people and ordered two of everything, they short changed us. Overall I am extremely disappointed and will not go back; could not even bring myself to leave a tip. Hope they implement the feedback accordingly. Staff are nice.

In den Tiefen Neucöllns liegt das Holly, ein kleines Restaurant, das sich Gastrobar nennt. Auf den ersten Blick handelt es sich um ein mit sehr einfachen Mitteln hergerichtetes Lokal mit ein paar Tischen draußen, kein wirklicher Eyecatcher. Einfach ist auch der betriebliche Ablauf. Die aus Südamerika stammende Chefin bedient mit Temperament und Überschwang. Im Hintergrund wirkt der französisch gepolte Ehemann, aber wie! Das Speisenangebot ist übersichtlich, aber es gibt ein Menu zu reellen Preisen. Der Kochaufwand hält sich in Grenzen, das aber mit respektablen Ergebnissen. Alles schmeckt wirklich gut. Mit der Weinbedienung lief was schief. Das wurde aber großzügig kompensiert. Die gute Laune blieb unbeeinträchtigt. Das recht kleine Angebot aus teilweise etwas exotischen Weinen sollte aber überdacht und erweitert werden. Das Klo würde eine Aufhübschung verdienen.

The food was amazing and beautifully presented. The team is passionate about unique wine. We had an orange wine from Serbia, a Pinot Noir from Sancerre, and a beautiful Brunello. Easily one of the best dining experiences I have had in my six years in Berlin.

Kreatives und leckeres Essen - es hat wirklich super geschmeckt, vom Amuse Bouche über das Tartar zur Vorspeise, den gebackenen Camembert und das Lammfilet mit unglaublich gutem Miso-Blumenkohlpüree… traumhaft! Lediglich beim Dessert fehlte mir persönlich die Süße (und ich mag eigentlich gern Desserts, die herzhafte Komponenten haben) und ich fand die Kombi aus Spargeleis und Mozzarellaschaum etwas befremdlich. Aber das Feedback wurde freundlich entgegengenommen und der kleine am Platz flambierte Marshmallow brachte dann noch den ersehnten süßen Abschluss. Der Service war mehr als zuvorkommend, schnell, professionell und herzlich. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend, große Empfehlung!

This place is legit! Super nice staff, laid back but attentive. The food speaks for itself and uses some really interesting flavour combos and seasonal ingredients. Not overpriced. Have been twice in 3 weeks and can't wait to go back!

Great tasting menu for ~100€ each with drinks. Basque cheesecake was a bit disappointing in the end, would get something else for dessert next time.

Holly still is a bit of a hidden gem in the epicentre of Neukölln. The kitchen is run by the French head chef and owner Simon who puts a lot of emphasis on cooking with seasonal, fresh, predominantly locally sourced produce, small-batch made products and organic meats. Love their low-waste approach, too. They make almost everything themselves, pickle and ferment, and also bake their own little loaves of potato bread served with whipped brown butter. Fernanda, sommelière and owner, runs the show in the restaurant, and pours amazing curated natural wines, PetNats and Cremants. They also have spectacular locally brewed craft beers on the drinks menu! Every visit is a pleasure. Also, their tasting menu is very delightful and incredibly affordable (even in times of inflation!).

Fine dining-level food with warm and knowledgeable service in a stylish but completely unpretentious atmosphere. Rather pricey by Berlin standards, but well worth it for a splurge.

It would have been 3 starts if it wasn’t that overpriced for Berlin. Bread is readily great 👍 some dishes are ok but the portion for the price is just insane, it’s not that exceptionally good. Beetroot main was really good but then the desert is quite disgusting. Trying the different fastest together might be bold, but it’s work in process not a finished tasty dish.

Leckeres Essen, keine Frage. War gut für einmal. Aber würden wir nochmal hin? Wahrscheinlich nicht. - Ich habe reserviert, mit Wunsch - bitte einen ruhigen und gemütlichen Tisch, nicht in der Mitte. Wo haben wir den Tisch bekommen? Genau in der Mitte. Ich höre nicht gut und deswegen muss ich an der Seite sitzen, um gut zu hören. Das Restaurant ist SEHR laut und die Akustik ist sehr schlecht. Ich habe es der Kellnerin gezeigt. Kam "ja". Nicht mal eine Entschuldigung. - Das Service ist naja, könnte besser sein für so einen Preis. Die Kellnerin wusste vieles nicht und hat über nix erklärt. Sie sind Hipster und sprechen nur Englisch oder Französisch, also wenn ihr nur Deutsch sprecht - bleibt draußen. - Wir haben ein Fleischmenü (59 Euro) und ein vegetarisches Menü (56 Euro). Das Hauptgericht bei Fleisch ist zwei Stückchen Lamm + Dinkelrisotto. Ist lecker. Bei den Vegetariern hingegen kriegt man einen ziemlich kleinen Teller mit verschiedenen Arten von rote Beete. Das ist wie ein kleiner Salat, und es fehlt dort jegliche Sättigungsbeilage und meine Freundin blieb hungrig nach dem Essen! Es war auch kein interessantes Gericht, nicht genug fürs Hauptgericht. So ein Dinkelrisotto dazu oder etwas ähnliches würde sehr helfen. - Bei Wasser gibt es nur Medium oder Still. Spritziges Wasser gibt es nicht (ich hasse Medium). Bei Sekt gab es nur süß (wir haben probiert, es war schrecklich). Bei Bier kamen sie in einer... Dose. Ja, vielleicht diese Fürst Wiącek Biere kommen nur in einer Dose, aber das ist ungemütlich so serviert zu werden. - Die Nachtische waren sehr gut und von guter Größe. Für einen Nachtisch muss man 4 Euro dazulegen. - Das Essen ist gut, außer das mit der Roten Beete. Ist gut zubereitet. Preis:Leistung ist ok. Etwas überteuert für das vegetarische Menü, das wesentlich billiger sein sollte (ist nur drei Euro billiger). Die Weine sind zu teuer für die Qualität (ab 10 Euro für 0,125 l, der Sekt war 12 Euro). - Bei der Rechnung kam ein Wein, den wir nicht bestellt haben. Ich musste es sagen und echt so zweimal bestätigen, dass ich nicht bestellt habe. - Ein vegetarisches Menü, ein Fleischmenü, drei Dosen Bier (a 6,50 Euro) - kamen wir insgesamt auf 135 Euro. Dazu kam Trinkgeld.

I absolutely adore this place! Their service is always immaculate, the food is top notch and the natural wines selection is broad and flavourful - all very well selected unique wine makers ✨this was my third visit and the menu was the best I had there yet! My favourites were the salsify, the hand-cut beef fillet tartar, their signature Camembert de Normandie with the leek dish and the most mind blowing desserts!!! If you are looking for a special experience - look no further 🙌🏼

We had the most unique & wonderful experience at Holly Gastrobar. Even though it belongs more to the fine-dining scene, this place just radiates warmth 🧡 The owners and their lovely team made us feel very welcome and amazed us with their knowledge of wine & food. The food was out of this world and the wine was really great. We loved the the intimate atmosphere too. Can’t wait to come back for more ❤️

Ein wahres Juwel, das man selten findet.. hervorragendes Essen, das es mit jedem fine dining - Restaurant aufnehmen kann. Sowohl vegetarisch als auch für Fleisch. Dabei sind die Preise moderat, es gibt ein Viergänge - Menü für unter 60 Euro und die Atmosphäre ist locker und familiär und gemütlich, die Besitzerin berät sehr gerne und mit Begeisterung zu den Speisen (französische Küche aus lokalen Zutaten) und zum Wein und lädt auch zum Probieren ein.

Was our fist visit today. First we were disappointed because we couldn’t order the food or the wine we wanted, but the host was so amazing and also the recommendations they gave us and the wine. Finally I had time to visit Fernanda,Simon and Rio. This place is so cozy: Interior,vibe,color,light,… Everything is thought through! I mean,you listen to birds twittering while in the bathroom… I decided to take all vegetarian dishes and starting from the amuse bouche to the desserts,I couldn’t decide which course was my favorite! The plating…the tastes…the portions… Just perfect! Everyone working was so friendly and informative! Thank you for this great experience and till very soon!

Wir hatten einen wirklich rundum perfekten Abend in der Holly Gastrobar. Das Essen war fantastisch und sehr viel für den sehr guten Preis. Vorallem waren wir am Anfang von der netten Besitzerin/ Kellnerin beeindruckt, die, mit Baby in der Trage, völlig entspannt und freundlich ihren Job nachgegangen ist. Hut ab! Alles in allem ein toller Laden, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! :)

We had a truly fantastic dining at Holly Gastrobar. Surely a surprise and my very best experience in Berlin in a long time. Starting from the friendly, polite and truly caring service, this was excellent! Do never change, it's a true rarity in Berlin! We tried the full meat dinner menu, we had the veal tartare for starter, followed by the baked camembert with beetroot, duck breast and the caramelised pear dessert. It was an ascending climax of flavours and tastes. Every course was a surprise and it was part of a great culinary journey. My best compliments to the chefs! The wine selection was another great service, they made us few matching wines at every course, before making our choice. They even spoiled us with a couple of extra small tasting dishes outside the menu. For us it has been 'love at the first dine' with this little gem, a rarity for Berlin standards which I truly hope it'll not change and decay. The place is cosy, there are about 10 tables, so you will surely need to book in advance to dine there: I do not recommend to just pass by and try your luck....

A 10/10 experience. After hearing so much about this place me and my daughter decided to finally take time to visit - and boy, we were not disappointed. Our waitress Ida was a blessing throughout the entire night. She offered great wine recommendations, presented the food with an elegant ease and checked in on us right when we needed it. The food itself was absolutely amazing - we had one tasting menu each and especially the zucchini dish (see photo below) stood out to me. Such a charming spot in the heart of lovely Neukölln that you can't miss out on. I was flabbergasted. A must!

Das Essen war ein kulinarisches Highlight. Besondere Zubereitung sehr kreativ im Geschmack und im Aussehen und dennoch die Natur im Vordergrund gelassen. Das Lokal an sich ist sehr puristisch und nicht groß . Reservierung ist sicher erforderlich.

We had a wonderful date night at Holly Gastrobar. Our server, Caroline, was very nice, attentive & took the time to give us great recommendations. The interior is super cozy and while the food is fine dining, the interior feels low-key and inviting - the perfect balance. The food was delicious and the dessert was out of this world. We’ll be back!!

Small and cosy restaurant in Neuköln. We had the tasting menu and each dish was special. The selections of wines is also good, as they have some natural but also some classical wines. While on the pricier side, we felt the menu and what you get quite reasonable. Another highlight were the staff of the restaurant which were very welcoming.

The menu is amazing also for vegetarians 🌱 We have visited Holly Gastrobar in Mid August 2022 and were greeted by the lovely team that immediately started to make us feel welcome. Since we couldn’t decide which wine to enjoy the crew gave us some of them to try until we were settled 🥳 The menu is carefully crafted to play with visuals and taste and is absolutely mind blowing. It might change but I have included a snapshot of when we visited! Holly Gastrobar isn’t one of those pretentious places, where you leave hungry after your visit. We went for the vegetarian options and let me tell you - wow I still have tears in my eyes how great and absolutely mind blowing that was. There isn’t much to say but - absolutely phenomenal food, caring staff that complements this journey paired with fair prices makes this a spot on my absolute favs for Berlin. The food is excellent and I loved the veggie options, one star minus for the wine handling though: only one red wine option on glass and the bottles of red were in the same fridge as the white wine, so completely overcooled, which decreased the taste strongly. That is a shame really because the wine as such was good, just way too cold.
