La Marinière in Berlin

Die hatten kein Platz mehr, der Laden viel zu klein, hat einwenig geregnet und schon die 3 Tischen drine waren besetzt, die Bilder im Netz zeigen das der Laden viel größer ist.....

Nachdem mir ein Freund das Restaurant empfohlen hatte, hatte ich die Gelegenheit, es zu besuchen, und ich war ehrlich gesagt sprachlos. Das Essen war so detailreich zubereitet und die Aromen waren einfach umwerfend. Wir hatten Pulpo und meine Freundin Lamm – wir konnten gar nicht genug davon bekommen. Nach dem Essen mussten wir unbedingt den Küchenchef kennenlernen. Das Essen war fantastisch und der Service perfekt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ich war gegen 20:30 Uhr dort und habe nach einem Tisch für zwei Personen gefragt. Leider wurde ich sofort abgewiesen, da das Restaurant angeblich geschlossen sei, obwohl Google Maps eindeutig Schließzeit um 23:00 Uhr anzeigte. Ich war sehr enttäuscht, eine Stunde verschwendet zu haben, nur um dann abgewiesen zu werden. Andere Gäste aßen noch, und ich hätte es ja verstanden, wenn ein Schild auf die Schließung hingewiesen hätte.

Ganz tolles Restaurant mit monatlich wechselnder Karte. Das Essen war absolut herausragend, die Weinempfehlungen perfekt. Preislich der Qualität angemessen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ❤️

Fantastischer Service, Wein und Essen. Die Lage ist ebenfalls traumhaft, perfekt für ein Essen im Freien! Nachtrag: Ich komme schon seit Jahren hierher und es ist mit Abstand mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Berlin. Den Inhabern liegt das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen. Man merkt, dass sie mit Herzblut dabei sind.

Wunderbares Restaurant mit einigen der besten Gerichte, die ich bisher essen durfte. Außerdem unglaublich freundlich und leicht familiär mit gemütlicher, aber gehobener Atmosphäre. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Hier traue ich mich fast nicht zu empfehlen, es ist rundum gut hier einen Abend zu verbringen.

Wir kamen um 17 Uhr zum Essen, aber da sie erst ab 19 Uhr Reservierungen annehmen und es bis dahin leer ist, lassen sie niemanden rein. Versucht es also gar nicht erst, wenn ihr keine Reservierung habt – auch wenn Plätze frei sind und das Lokal leer ist. Die Atmosphäre war nicht besonders angenehm, sie waren abweisend und haben uns ziemlich unhöflich weggeschickt. Wir wissen zwar nicht warum, aber wir vermuten, dass sie keine Kinder wollten und eine etwas hochnäsige Art hatten. Wir konnen über das essen nicht sagen, wir haben nebenan gegessen, wo es viel freundlicher war und wir um 18:30 vertig gegangen sind.

Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis! Das Essen war köstlich, die Atmosphäre warm und einladend, und der Service exzellent. Alles wirkte authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder und können dieses Restaurant jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der in Berlin nach hervorragender französischer Küche sucht. 🧡

Hier wird nicht nach Sternen geschielt, sondern einfach hochqualitativ und schmackhaft gekocht. Das ist nicht billig, aber preiswert im besten Sinn. Zwei junge sympathische Menschen, er kocht und sie sorgt für den Service, machen hier eine großartige Arbeit.

Der einzige Nachteil dieses Restaurants ist, dass es einem schmerzlich bewusst macht, wie klein der Magen ist und dass man nicht die gesamte Speisekarte auf einmal bestellen kann. Das Servicepersonal macht es noch schlimmer, denn es schafft eine so angenehme Atmosphäre, dass man am liebsten jeden Tag wiederkommen möchte. Mit anderen Worten: preisgekröntes Essen, freundliches Personal und gemütliches Ambiente – einfach brillant.

Die Speisekarte wechselt je nach Saison und alle Gerichte werden mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es war ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis. Nicht nur das Essen, sondern auch die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und der Service überaus freundlich. Ich empfehle, einen Tisch zu reservieren.

It's a shame we can't award six stars! The young German-French couple at La Mariniere deserves them. The acidity of the kiwi in the ceviche was sublime, and the hazelnuts with coffee and chestnut sauce with the fois gras were divine! To highlight just two dishes from the small but fine menu. The scallops on beluga lentils and the cheeks also deserve a mention. Oh, and the desserts!!! Good French wines and fantastic hosts! We can hardly wait for our next visit. Consistently good! With an additional photo of the current fois gras with hazelnuts.

La Marinière is a true culinary highlight! In this very small, cozy French restaurant, the dishes are prepared with incredible creativity and great attention to detail – each course is a small work of art and tastes simply outstanding. The wine selection is simply fantastic, and with the professional advice, we always found the perfect wine to complement our dishes. As an aperitif, you should definitely try Lillet Anaïs – a sophisticated drink designed by the owner. Last but not least, the service is exceptionally attentive, warm, and absolutely competent. You feel completely at home, and this review is more than just a recommendation to stop by La Marinière!

Very good place, especially in summer. The restaurant is small, but you can also eat outside. Good food, good service, wine, and sparkling wine are perfect. Restrooms are clean and well-maintained.

Nice atmosphere, good food but nothing special — unlike last time where the flavors were really above average. A bit poor for the price this time.

We were there for our wedding anniversary and it was a good choice. A cosy family-run restaurant with multiple colourful dishes. You can decide between 2, 3, and 4 course meals, and the price comes in total. The menu changes monthly. You can keep updated on their instagram page. I don’t generally like goat cheese but I have to say the most surprisingly delicious dish I had was goat cheese brûlée and beetroot. Izzy’s smile and hospitality made everything an even better experience. Don’t forget to reserve before going.

When I walk through the door of the Marinière, I immediately find myself on vacation in France. Everything is really right here, I love this place. Small bistro with few seats inside, so reservations are recommended. When the weather is nice there is still the option to sit outside. The menu changes monthly, there are starters, main courses and desserts, as well as little things to pair with wine. We had very fresh and tasty Gillardeau oysters and fantastic goat cheese gratin for the entrée and then lamb and raviolo, both very good. The service is very friendly and attentive, we will come back and recommend this restaurant without reservation.

French tradition interpreted in a modern way - that's probably the best way to describe the bistro run by Anaïs (host) and Johannes (cook). Whether in the small but nice indoor area or outside on Leon-Jessel-Platz, you feel comfortable here and the service is very familiar. In general, the service is excellent and anyone who has questions or requests about the carefully curated wine list will receive detailed advice at any time. By the glass or a whole bottle - there is something for everyone. After the basis for the evening has been laid together with the service and the choice of dishes from the slate table, the lovingly and excellently prepared dishes take over the rest and create a taste memory with every bite that you will and want to remember again and again. In addition to classics such as oysters or foie gras, starters such as venison tataki or eagle fish crudo also make it onto the menu, which changes at least monthly. After the starters whet your appetite for more, the main courses leave you wondering whether things could get any better. The lamb fillet with pistachio crust is highly recommended here - which doesn't have to shy away from comparison with similar cuisine from New Zealand. If you have knowingly kept your dessert stomach free, you can choose between 3-4 desserts and/or cheese. However, you should be quick with the vineyard peach crème brûlée, as the number is limited per evening. ;) If you want to spend a relaxed evening with excellent ingredients on your plate, this is the right place for you. Only the early end of service in the outdoor area (approx. 9:30 p.m.) may be a little painful for some, but it is essential for good interaction between guests and residents. And usually something is free inside again. Note: Always reserve by phone!

Small, atmospheric bistro and delicatessen with 12 seats and an outdoor area on the quiet, cobbled Leon-Vessel-Platz in Wilmersdorf. The oysters (Gillardeau) and the crémant 🥂 tasted good. The service was quick and charming. Recommendation for romantic connoisseurs. Wines, jams, sardines etc. can be purchased.

Lovely people and really good food!

We were there on June 8th, 2023 and our conclusion is: AMAZINGLY GOOD! The food (tuna ceviche, foie gras, tuna and veal fillet) was first class and was only surpassed by the impeccable service. Friendliness, attention and humor were at the highest level! We'll definitely be back! As announced, we were there again, on December 27th, 2023 and June 20th, 2024 and YES: STUNNING again! Again we had nothing to complain about the quality, the sophistication of the food, the service, the friendliness, the charm, etc. It's not cheap, but it's absolutely good value, downright cheap for what's on offer. Thank you!

We had dinner at La Marinière at the weekend and can only confirm the positive reviews. The staff is exceptionally friendly and considerate without being intrusive. The menu is rather small (a good sign) but very varied. The three-course menu costs 45 euros and can be freely varied from the menu. There are many French "classics", mostly with a special touch. We really enjoyed everything and we'll definitely be back.

We passed by by chance. We are thrilled and will definitely come back! Everything is right from start to finish... one hour becomes two, two then three and so on... it's a great place to sit comfortably and the prices are more than fair for what you get! WE ARE EXCITED! A must to have eaten here once!

Es ist schön in Berlin mal wieder einen kleinen kulinarischen Diamanten gefunden zu haben. Diese kleine Restaurant (Weinbar) mit nur vier Tischen zaubert höchste kulinarische Genüsse auf den Tisch. Die Weine dazu sind hervorragend und dann wird man auch noch wahnsinnig freundlich bedient. Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

Das charmante Ambiente, das fantastische Essen, der köstliche Wein sowie die freundliche und kompetente Betreuung durch das Servicepersonal haben uns rundum begeistert.
