Supi Gemüse Kebap in Berlin

I discovered this shop through a recommendation. With just under 100 reviews, a certain amount of skepticism is still warranted. @Jerry Kuhn's review completely won me over, so I made the short walk there without complaint. First impression: very pleasant. Actually, right on Karl-Marx-Straße, you wouldn't expect much ambiance – but despite all the impressions, this small kebab shop has created a very nice, inviting atmosphere. The skewers generally looked okay. However, I was initially more confident with the chicken. The bread is in the shape of an oval, medium-sized flatbread – it gives a solid shape. The sauce selection: classic good – herbs, garlic, spicy. The meat: nicely prepared crispy. I noticed that the whole thing was coated with a brown liquid from a spray bottle. When asked what was being sprayed, the comment came in broken German with a slightly uncertain smile: "It's Maagi." He said it so sweetly that I immediately fell in love with my sweetheart. Regarding the rest of the dish: The amount of meat was a bit too much for me – to anticipate, I found the last part to be almost entirely meat. Nevertheless: not disgusting, not too fatty, just very meaty. Otherwise: a very pleasant, select amount of grilled vegetables – and a well-balanced amount of the ingredients normally found in a classic kebab: onions, lettuce, cucumber, tomato. The spoonful of cheese at the end would have been better placed above the sauce, but it still gave the whole thing a nice flair. The half lime, squeezed by hand over the box, rounded off the meal perfectly. The spicy powder hit the spot – even though it was "only" sprinkled on the meat, not on the sauce – very nicely and pleasantly distributed right down to the last bite. Despite my initial impression that this overly loaded package might not be good to eat, I was a seasoned kebab eater who took it all in stride and gradually devoured it. I would say, in general, that this is a very honest shop, with no shish kebabs or kimbisel. Also, a very nice kebab man. I went two stops too far while writing this review – lel. Warmest regards to the graduating class.

The owner greets me with a smile, and I order falafel in bread. He notices my quick glance at the fridge and grabs me an uludag from the back. He takes the bread out of the grill at exactly the right moment. The fact that both sauces are first applied precisely to one side, and then the bread is folded again to spread it out, I note with appreciation as a technical variation. He compensates for the lack of spicy vegan sauce with just the right amount of hot spice. He places three large falafel balls on a bed of plenty of fried vegetables; my request for plenty of onions is happily accommodated. As is customary in the industry, a napkin is placed between the kebab and the plate, which is already slightly stained with vegetables falling out before the first bite. At Supi Gemüse Kebap, you sit outside, in a box, not on the sidewalk, but still with an unobstructed panoramic view of Karl-Marx-Straße. The fat is fresh, the food is delicious, and at €5.50, the kebab is competitively priced. We briefly introduce ourselves, and I thank Chef Sabri very warmly. He remarks that this is my first time here; it won't stop there. 5 stars.

Absolutely delicious and also absolutely awesome staff They forgot to give me my Ayran when I ordered I called there and they apologized and asked again for the address and a few minutes later someone from the store came and even brought me 2 pieces so sweet, thank you, kiss your heart! Unsuitable for ordering. Ordered via Lieferando. The order was accepted and confirmed and then canceled 30(!) minutes later. Please switch off the delivery service if there is no capacity.

Please pay more attention to hygiene. First touching the change and then preparing the kebab without washing your hands is disgusting. The sauce containers also looked very unappetizing (with dark edges of dried sauce on the edge).

Döner plate wasn't that great. Meat too crispy, salad consisted more of cucumbers than anything else, hardly any sheep's cheese, fries were a disaster. Flabby and dripping with old fat. I'm not rating the cheeseburger because I got exactly what I expected. If I had expected a perfect burger, I would of course have ordered somewhere else. The Dürum was mediocre. Also far too much cucumber in the salad. The sauces are also absolutely expandable. All in all, I either had a very bad day or the positive reviews are from tourists who have absolutely no idea about kebab.

I ate a kebab yesterday but in the evening I got chills and kept peeing in the toilet to get rid of what I had eaten because it can come out faster than it goes in and I have a headache all the time This indicates food poisoning or salmonella However, both are not good and I will never eat here again, even though the kebab didn't actually taste bad, but it looks deceptive Since I haven't eaten anything else, that's definitely the reason for my current condition

Guter Gemüse-Kebap mit fantastischem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Ambiente an der Straße ist nicht so schön, aber das macht das nette Personal wett. War etwas high und wurde dennoch freundlich bedient 😄 Insgesamt einfach supi 🥙

Que rico falafel! Probé el döner y muy bueno, de los mejores que he probado en la ciudad. El pan crujiente y suave, como leí en otra opinión no se rompe, aguada o desborda al comerlo. Tiene la cantidad perfecta para poder comerlo sin hacer un desastre de tu comida. Los vegetales salteados le dan un sabor muy bueno, incluyendo los aderezos que ocupa. La verdad me asombró su sabor y la amabilidad del chico que atiende. Tiene mesitas al aire libre para sentarte bajo un árbol, comer a gusto, ver a la gente pasar o leer algo o solo disfrutar la comida. Vi poca gente en comparación, aunque otro día que pase las mesas estaban ocupadas. Regresaría sin pensarlo a probar otra cosa pero el döner, wow, super recomendado.

Beim SUPI ist der Name Programm. Der Döner schmeckt klasse. Eine gute Mischung. Das Grillgemüse passt hervorragend. Das Brot ist bemerkenswert locker und hält doch zusammen: Jeder der sich schon mal an harten Kanten von zu crossem Fladenbrot ein kleinen Schlenz im Mundraum eingfangen hat weiß wovon ich rede. Dieses Brot ist cross hat aber trotzdem einen gewissen Fluff. Der Zubereiter gibt sich beim Zusammenbauen richtig Mühe damit man nicht auf einen konzentrierten Fleischberg trifft oder eine Soßeninsel im unteren Teil des Döners für den klassisch, gefürchteten Durchbruch sorgt. Zuletzt noch: einer der wenigen Läden der neben klassischen Soßen Kräuter, Scharf und Knoblauch auch noch Hummus und Aubergine anbietet - ganz großes Dönerkino!

Super leckere Dönerbox. Auf jeden Fall in meinen Top 3 in Berlin.

Excellent chicken döner kebab! Crispy pita bread generously stuffed with your tasty filling of choice. Must try the spicy sauce. I had to come back for more the day after. Can't recommend it enough!

Pretty much as good as I expected. Tender and flavorful meat and vegetables with crunchy outside and chewy inside bread. Could have used a little more sauce inside.

Really good kebab! The bread, vegetables and sauces all really good :) and free feta cheese (my old local used to charge for this). And the hot sauce is actually hot! Hurrah! And very friendly service :)

Supi macht nen super Döner. Super mix von Salat Fleisch und Gemüse nicht nur Eisberg! Und toll wie sorgfältig zubereitet wird.

Im Vergleich zum Hype um Rüyam Gemüse Kebab um Längen besser. Natürlich keine kulinarische Sensation. Aber was soll ein Kebap mit Gemüse auch sein? Jedenfalls frisch und mit angenehmer Sauce. Nicht so pampig wie der o. g. Döner...
