Ich schreibe fast nie Bewertungen, aber dieses Restaurant war einfach zu gut… Fantastisches italienisches Essen, mit Liebe und Leidenschaft zubereitet, und das Personal war so nett und freundlich. Das beste Essen, das ich in Berlin gegessen habe. 10/10

Liebe diesen Laden: Carbonara ohne Sahne probieren!

Ich war kürzlich bei Da Baristeri und bin absolut begeistert! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Die Auswahl an Feinkost ist einfach hervorragend – von hochwertigen italienischen Spezialitäten bis hin zu frischen, liebevoll präsentierten Produkten. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Geschmack gelegt wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den freundlichen und kompetenten Service. Man wird nicht nur herzlich empfangen, sondern auch richtig gut beraten – egal ob man etwas für den Alltag sucht oder ein besonderes Geschenk. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend, perfekt, um sich inspirieren zu lassen und neue Lieblingsprodukte zu entdecken.

„Da Balistreri“ ist ein Ort, der eindrucksvoll zeigt, dass echte Küche keine Übertreibung und keine unnötigen Verzierungen braucht. Schon beim Betreten spürt man die Authentizität — die schlichte Einrichtung und die entspannte Atmosphäre laden sofort dazu ein, den Moment bewusst zu genießen. Die Küche basiert auf dem, was in der italienischen Tradition am wichtigsten ist: Qualität und Respekt vor den Zutaten. Die Gerichte sind einfach, fast minimalistisch, doch jedes Detail hat Bedeutung. Die Aromen sind klar, ausgewogen und intensiv — genau so, wie man es von einer echten italienischen Hausküche erwartet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die großzügigen Portionen — ehrlich, reichhaltig und mit Herz serviert. Es ist Essen, das nicht nur sättigt, sondern vor allem Freude bereitet und ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis bietet. Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich, herzlich und natürlich — ohne aufgesetzte Höflichkeit, dafür mit echter Gastfreundschaft. Dadurch wird ein Besuch im „Da Balistreri“ zu mehr als nur einem Essen — es ist eine kleine Reise. Gestern war ich dort mit meiner Tochter und meinem Enkel — und es war ein Volltreffer. Mein Enkel war vom Essen begeistert; mit großem Appetit hat er eine Hähnchenkeule gegessen, die ihm besonders gut geschmeckt hat — schlicht und zugleich hervorragend. Dieses Lokal besitzt etwas Besonderes: jene unverfälschte italienische Einfachheit, die alles intensiver wirken lässt und die Zeit langsamer vergehen lässt. Für einen Moment vergisst man den Alltag und fühlt sich, als wäre man irgendwo im Süden Italiens — vielleicht auf Sizilien — an einem Tisch, an dem Essen und Gemeinschaft im Mittelpunkt stehen. „Da Balistreri“ ist Authentizität in ihrer reinsten Form — ohne Kompromisse und ohne Inszenierung.

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant, ich komme immer gerne, das Essen ist fantastisch, der Kaffe lecker und man fühlt sich sehr wohl und willkommen!

Ausgesprochen gute und sympathische italienische Trattoria. Ich gehe gerne zur Mittagspause dorthin. Man kann sich einen Mittagstaller aus verschiedenen Gerichten zusammenstellen lassen. Die Gerichte sind ausgesprochen lecker, besonders die kleinen sizilianischen dolci, die Inhaber und Bedienung sind ausgesprochen sympathisch. Eine absolute Empfehlung für ein leckeres italienisches Mittagsessen.

Seit über 20 Jahren die beste Pasta in der Stadt! Kann man nicht beschrieben, muss man einfach hin ums zu verstehen. Sei es essen und Service! Echt Italienisch!

An authentic and cozy Italian restaurant. The pickles, pastes, and other details inside give the impression that it's run by an Italian family. The creamy tomato soup was very tasty, and the olive oil spread served as a complimentary starter before the meal was equally delicious. Then came the pasta with bolognese sauce. We all enjoyed it and had a pleasant dinner.

Daily selection of fresh dishes, which you can combine as you like. Extremely delicious and high quality. Plus, a very Italian flair.

Authentic Italian cuisine made with heart and soul at more than fair prices! Pipo & Tano are Berlin's culinary icons. I've known them for over 20 years from their time on Joachim-Friedrich-Straße. Since 2021, they've been located here at Mierendorffplatz, running a small, cozy, and welcoming bistro focused on lunch and afternoon meals. They offer a wide selection of Italian classics, including vegetarian and vegan options. Everything is cooked from scratch with love, energy, and decades of experience. Sausages, cheeses, and pastries are also available to take home. The next generation is already involved, carrying on the tradition. Come one, come all, and let yourself be pampered!

The best paninos around! The Diavolo with spicy salami and provolone is my favorite! The cheese and sausage counter is definitely worth a visit! The warmth there is unsurpassed! I always ate there for lunch while studying at the UdK and miss it very much.

A great place with family vibes and comfort atmosphere. There are various options of food - from the menu, paninis, or trattoria-style salads, pastas, and main dishes. Everything is absolutely delicious, personal favorites are the pasta with potato and zucchini pasta. The bread is delicious. There are also good selection of Italian wines. The owners are friendly, supportive, ready to explain everything about the food and vine in German, Italian, English, and likely some other languages. I was a regular when I lived in the area, lunching there almost daily, without being bored or tired from the food. Highly recommended.

A somewhat hidden street restaurant. It's well-frequented. Reasonable value for money. Good lunch concept: You can put together your plate from about ten different pasta dishes and one meat dish – a bit of everything. The spaghetti wasn't quite fresh, but the remaining pasta was tasty and good. Very friendly, fast, lively service.

A true gem on Mierendorffplatz: a combination of bistro and Italian delicatessen. Friendly, family-friendly, delicious food, and excellent wines and spirits. You feel valued and at home. Fantastic.

Incredibly delicious, it was worth the trip from Baden-Württemberg to Berlin for that alone. I've rarely eaten so well, and the entire staff was super friendly. I highly recommend it.

It is a place that my partner and I usually frequent. The food and coffee are excellent, the panini selection is very varied, but the best thing about the place is the staff and the atmosphere. We always feel excellently cared for, the atmosphere is very welcoming and it is genuinely a pleasure to go. More than recommended.

We can only recommend Balistreri! Although probably not everyone likes the ambience, which in this case is irrelevant, but the food and hospitality are second to none! Criminally, it was only my second time eating there but I was completely impressed! I can really recommend it to everyone, and I really get around a lot in the catering industry! It's very difficult for me to top now It was a real taste explosion, you can tell that the cooking here is done with heart and love and the focus is on the dishes from Sicily! Good wines from Italy and beers from Italy are also offered! An extensive range of grappa is also served!👌 Hats off and keep it up! I'd love to come back👋 Big thanks to the family-run restaurants 🤟

Spaghetti Amatriciana sind für mich der absolute Geheimtipp, außerordentlich lecker! Auch der Cappuccino ist super. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Leckere italienische Spezialitäten zum kaufen und ganz tolle Gerichte zum Essen. Mein Favorit ist die Pasta Amatriciana! Tolle, authentische Inhaber die mit Herz mit dabei sind.

Seit dem neuen Eigentümer einfach viel schlechter als das was da vorher drin war. Die Panini sind viel kleiner und mit weniger guten Zutaten gemacht als das früher der Fall war. (z.b. Parmesan gerieben statt frisch geschnittene Stücke. usw.) Auch die Größe sind viel kleiner als früher und oben drein ist es auch noch teurer. Im aktuellen Zustand finde ich das Preisleistungsverhältnis einfach nicht gut.

Super, freundschaftlicher, familiärer typisch italienischer Laden mit humorvollen Mitarbeitern! Lecker kleinigkeiten aber auch Pasta und wohl bald auch Pizza! Sehr empfehlenswert! Grazie und a presto !

Eine echte Trattoria: In der familiären Atmosphäre bekommt man netten Service, leckeres Essen und gute Laune. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Auf die Wünsche der Gäste wurde perfekt eingegangen (weizenfreie Spaghetti mit extra viel Knoblauch), sehr guter Hauswein, preislich absolut gerechtfertigt (und gut eingeschenkt), Espresso ist mindestens genauso gut wie in Rom (wenn nicht sogar besser), guuuuter Grappa, sehr freundliche Bedienung und eine süße kleine Salumneria. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, noch öfter!!
