The best hummus in the kiez 🫶 very generous owner and super well priced delicious food. I highly recommend it. You can also get some hummus in a box for takeaway.

Everything went smoothly - from the reservation to the farewell. Excellent cuisine, very friendly welcome, customer-oriented service almost family-like. A few jokes were made here and there... Perfect ambience and very clean (we are in Berlin, so it deserves mention, especially regarding the sanitary facilities... ;). Culinary, human and experiential - everything was perfect. There is now another restaurant there. It's called Beyburcu and this place with Kavi Bistro doesn't exist!

The service is very friendly and attentive, but the ambiance is unfortunately not so good. What bothered me most was the lighting, which was far too bright and not at all cozy or inviting. The food was delicious, except for the beetroot, which was relatively dry and not fresh-tasting. There was only a vegan or vegetarian menu to choose from.

We went to this Kurdish place during a office lunch. In Menu they have lots of options to choose from. They start with a big flat bread and a soup as an Appetizer We ordered day special food and , tandur chicken ( seems costly) and lamb maheshi Overall it was good. Cost wise not so worth.

I had falafel halloumi in bread. The portion was very small for the price. The seller was friendly, but he handled everything without gloves, and his fingernails were very dirty. 😏🤢

I have a heart for unpretentious shops with traditional food that you rarely find anywhere else. For example, this shop offers Molokhiyah, which is rarely found elsewhere. It would only be nicer if the quality of the food was actually good. I thought I would make a safe choice by ordering the bamieh (okra) with lamb instead of the fancier dishes. However, the dish was already old and had been reheated several times, which was evident from the strong taste. Possibly To disguise this, it was also salted quite heavily. I would probably have been better served with a grill plate; both in terms of freshness and taste. I was only able to eat half of my meal and I still probably got mild food poisoning afterwards, which made it difficult for me to go about my everyday life. So, terrible conclusion for the traditional dishes here. The stars for service and food are there because the grill plates are OK and the starter plate is delicious and generous.

The shawarma tastes really good and the staff is very friendly. I give 4 stars because you can find even better shawarma in Berlin.
