Very nice there, whether it's food, drink, shisha, it's just great. I recommend it to everyone who visits Berlin☘️

This store erases recessions. So here again is my honest opinion and what happened to us as a group! And if this is deleted again, reviews will come from all my friends. The cocktails are as if diluted with water. The staff was totally unfriendly except for one who was totally accommodating. I will never come here again with my friends. The shisha was a complete disaster. Prices are definitely overpriced for the service and taste. We waited an unusually long time for the menu to order. What shouldn't happen. When we pointed this out to the staff, we were given tequila mixed with water. On top of everything, there were very few people and too many staff. Until all of this is fixed, me and my friend will no longer set foot in this local. In addition, the staff still charged us for the shisha that we didn't want for their mistake.

Great restaurant and shisha bar with authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The dishes are fresh and taste excellent, especially the mezze and grilled dishes. The shisha is great and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Very friendly service.

We wanted to celebrate the birthday of a good friend together with eight people. When one of the guys called to reserve a table, they reportedly said there were no tables available - even though he mentioned that our group consisted of four women and four men. One of the girls called shortly afterwards and suddenly a reservation was possible. When we arrived we got a table in the shisha lounge. The room was significantly smaller than one would have expected from the photos. There were thick balls of dust hanging on the walls, suggesting a lack of attention to detail. But well, after all you are in Marooush and not in a gourmet atmosphere. Most of the time there was no music in the shisha lounge. She only started playing shortly before 11 p.m. In the three hours we spent there we spent €400. Nevertheless, we were asked to leave the table because our reservation had apparently expired. Despite several attempts to explain that we were one of the better guests, the evening was over. I asked the waitress to convince the manager in attendance that we wanted to stay and watched the discussion from a distance. When the waitress spoke to the (presumably) manager, he began gesturing wildly with his hands as if he were at a vegetable market on Yorckstrasse. At that moment I knew it would be a no. Conclusion: If you go to Marooush and are prepared to spend a lot of money, you are definitely in the wrong place here. The management lacks the feeling for dealing with good guests. We had actually planned to spend around €2,000 that evening. But Marooush doesn't seem to be interested in such guests - and that's clear from the way he interacts. Unfortunately, the store is a lot of pretense. I can't recommend anyone to go there if they are one of the better off guests. This place lacks the necessary culture, which cannot simply be covered up with a pompous facade.

Short and sweet I expected more from the store for people who want to leave more money, the store is not suitable for that, so if you want to have fun and spend money you should consider whether the store is right for that

the atmosphere was phenomenal its like youre walking to a disco in the rich part of cairo! People dressed like they’re going to a wedding and the music was verryy club pop made for people to dance on. They have a club part but the music was also loud in the restaurant. Personally, me and my friend saw that as an experience itself. A very fun one! But unfortunately we came too late for the belly dancing show The food was the best quality fresh arabic food ive had honestly cooked to perfection Arabic dishes with a twist. We had lamm and fish and both were delicious Service was sooo friendly the server ( a Czech) stood on our table kindly answering our questions which were a lot but he didnt seem to be bothered 🥺 The cocktails were super nice and worth the price Totally everything was worth it. Would love to go again and introduce my friends to it

Hervorragend! Die große gemischte Mezze Platte für zwei Personen ist eine kulinarische Reise durch den Orient. Alles was das Herz begehrt, auf einer Platte arrangiert. Sehr lecker. Danach hatten wir Lamm Frikadellen in einer Soße mit Oktaschoten und Reis. Sehr pikant. Und dann Knefeh, geht direkt auf die Hüften. Alles sehr lecker abgeschmeckt und sehr nett angerichtet. Zu empfehlen!

Terrific! The large mixed mezze platter for two people is a culinary journey through the Orient. Everything your heart desires, arranged on one record. Delicious. Afterwards we had lamb meatballs in a sauce with octa peppers and rice. Very spicy. And then Knefeh, goes straight to the hips. Everything was very tasty and very nicely presented. Recommended!

I used to like to go to Marooush with my ladies on weekends, until it started at the door: the bouncers became rude and disrespectful, looking down on a woman and getting dirty with their guests. I understand if you don't make a reservation You have to wait, but they work as they please, that's not possible... let's STAND outside the door in the COLD for 45 minutes and say after 45 minutes no one is coming today in...Ok accepted!!!!! We turn and we leave. Is a new group of at least 6 people coming in? He'll let them in? I'm watching because we're still standing nearby. The next group of three comes and lets them in. And we were just 3 WOMEN who didn't want a table but wanted to order a drink at the bar and dance on the dance floor. When I asked about it, he ignored me and laughed dirtyly. Tell me, is it still okay???? MARROUSH ITSELF WITH THE MUSIC, IT'S GOING VERY GOOD BUT UNTIL YOU GET IN THERE YOU HAVE TO GET PAST THE RUDE Bouncer and still be in a good mood then it works. Try your luck. For me it was definitely the last time I would let myself be treated like that.

Mittelmäßiges, vollkommen überteuertes Essen. Trockenes Brot, Fisch im Salzmantel prinzipiell nett, aber serviert viel zu trocken, das Hagelsalz im Fisch war ekelhaft. Zu Zweit 150 Euro gezahlt. Brot war trocken und ungenießbar. Netter Bauchtanz, aber viel zu laute Musik. Unterhalten war nicht möglich. Disko Feeling. Wer es mag... Wir nicht. Ein Mal, nie wieder. Die Krönung war die schnippige, weibliche Bedienung. Ich würde sagen: Beruf verfehlt. Sehr schade, eigentlich sehr schöne Location.

Real Arabic restaurant. Very tasty food. All of the dishes at our table were very well prepared and deliciously seasoned. Without a table order it will be difficult. We ate there on Saturday and there was even a belly dancing show.

Reservation in non-smoker. Were still placed in the smoking area. Noticed too late. When the shishas and e-cigarettes were started at the tables next to us, our food was already served. Drink selection disappointing. Only one open wine each in red and white. Beer: Wheat and Heineken (!) Only from the bottle, but expensive. Food was good. But basically overpriced. Most of the smaller Arabic restaurants in Berlin do a lot of this just as well. Marooush is more of a see and be seen club. It is a nice and interesting location. Not likely to go out to eat.

I've been a regular at Marooush for almost two years, and every time I leave the restaurant with a smile. The service is absolutely first class - the team is always friendly, warm and their good mood is simply infectious. The food? Simply fantastic! Every dish is fresh, incredibly tasty and perfectly prepared down to the smallest detail. The atmosphere at Marooush is not only inviting and stylish, but also very open and inclusive - particularly pleasing: it is an LGBT-friendly place where everyone can feel welcome. For me there is no better place to spend a nice evening. Absolute recommendation! Thank you 😘

We had an appointment today as a 35th birthday celebration. The restaurant and the shisha bar are really successful. The service was attentive and worked quite quickly, and our waiter also had a good sense of humor. 😁 The dishes arrived quickly and hot, which surprised me a little, but respect. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the Künefe because it was what I was looking forward to the most, but that's just how it's prepared here. It's not bad, but unfortunately I know it differently and therefore had different ideas. For a €14 sex on the beach, I would have expected a little more, decorations etc., especially since there was hardly any alcohol to be tasted. The shisha was good, the guys worked quickly. (Star dust is a must, please offer it in the future) All in all, a really nice restaurant with a shisha bar that is great for partying. Thank you and see you next time.

Really great restaurant and highly recommended. Great service and super friendly. The food was excellent, the starter platter was really delicious and I would take it again straight away. As a main course you really have to mention the lamb fillet! So juicy, soft and delicious, perfectly balanced in an excellent sauce topped with cheese and fresh pomegranate seeds. Wow the food was incredibly good. The lamb was just too tender and had no smell. The meze plate was very tasty. We came with 12 people and the service was perfect. Everything came at the same time. 100% recommendation!!!

So the DJ last evening (Saturday) was such rubbish. The songs were repeated the whole time, the music didn't fit the dancing at all and I felt like I was in Lebanon. And the security who works for 5-6€ an hour and thinks he's the one and doesn't want to let us in outside even though we already have a table inside was really awesome. And 14.50 for a vodka mix that had a content of 20/80 is also really hard. Conclusion I can't recommend this store at all.

I have to be honest, the DJ you book every Saturday night is really bad. The music is rubbish, the songs just didn't fit the mood, the songs repeat themselves all the time and you can't really dance to them. I really recommend they change the DJ.

I was very disappointed. I reserved space in the smoking dance area for my birthday weeks ago. For my birthday cake they wanted €20 to store it in the fridge, then they put us somewhere else than reserved, on the grounds that the smoking dance area has a minimum spend of €100 per person. Unfortunately, this was not communicated to me on the phone. I left the store immediately.

Variety of very tasty food, fast service, nice ambiance. Indoor and outdoor seating, smoking area. The staff was very friendly and the portions of what we ordered were decent. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey place, but it's worth it. It was a pleasant experience, I can only recommend this place, and I'll visit again for sure ☺️

Lots of good things come together in one place. Good food, good shisha and a very welcoming atmosphere with good music. We had a really great evening with a large group, which was rounded off by the great service. Of course the whole thing has its price as the location is close to the Kudam. However, I think it was worth the money and it certainly won't be the last time I'll be here.

The waitress is horrible. I asked her to make sure there is no hot pepper and hot spices and she never cared to follow thru. I woke up with pain. I can't believe she was asking for tips without making the slightest effort. Lazy labor! I also asked for less sweet drink and guess what, my drink was having sugar grains in it. Total disregard.

catastrophic disorganized service. It's normal to wait half an hour in the middle because the waiters are much more busy walking past you 100 times and staring at you than speaking to you and bringing you to the table. Everything was very uncoordinated, we had reserved in advance & they were 1. too incompetent to process which area the reservation was for & 2. that they even offer reservations. The clientele is also catastrophic. Monkeys in the zoo have better manners & vocabulary than this developing country bunch.

Disgusting place and bad service

Excellent ambience! Elegant but not over the top. Friday evening old school R'n'B - GREAT! Our winemaker was perfect! Really! Nice, accommodating and dealt with our allergy problem very well. The show after dinner made our evening even more colorful and cheerful. The meal was excellent. I am very happy that I chose this place for my birthday. Highly recommended!!!!

The food is absolutely delicious, and the service was friendly - if not overly attentive - during our visit on a very quiet Sunday evening. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't very comfortable and our table was very drafty (the door was open) - but that may have been due to the time of visit. In any case, we ordered way too much, but you probably won't make that mistake again on your second visit (and it's a must). However, I really can't recommend the bottle of Prosecco (unfortunately extra dry and not extra Brut and no details noted on the menu, nor a brand) ... but the food is a highlight across the board 👌🏼

We were there with our service group for dinner and then a water pipe in the adjacent shisha bar. Our reservation for 10 people, which we made 2 weeks before, was apparently forgotten. Luckily I had everything by email, so we were brought to a table of 8. Only after a short argument were we brought to a table of 10. The waiter was friendly. The food was okay. The price-performance ratio doesn't fit. The prices are too high for the quality and preparation of the food. The waiter was friendly. The “boss/usherman”, on the other hand, was much less friendly. When we wanted to redeem our second reservation, there was another argument with the “boss”. Really very uncomfortable. We were seated at a table of 8 again for no apparent reason. According to “Chef”, all other tables should have a minimum consumption of €700. Overall it was a very unpleasant stay, excessive prices with mediocre food. I wouldn't eat here again.

I celebrated my birthday at Marooush and am more than disappointed. I had reserved for 15 people but in the end I got a place for 7, we were only 12 people in total but had to share the place for 7 together and it was complained that we weren't a purely women's group... I mean where is that? like this ?! After all, it's my birthday and I should be allowed to invite whoever I want?! (By the way, our group consisted of 9 women and 3 men and I said from the start that we were a mixed group...) Additionally, we wanted to sit in the lounge area, but ended up sitting in the club area. I paid a lot of money to be cooped up like in a kennel and listen to underground music at full volume. The DJ has potential but instead of just letting the good songs play through, he just kept playing beats without rhyme or reason! In addition, the music was very Arabic-heavy but rather with unknown songs that probably not even the Arabs knew after the DJ spoiled them with his beats. The announced belly dancer once twirled around for 5 minutes more intentionally than skillfully, but she wasn't with us once! Inquiries as to why nothing was carried out as agreed were sometimes even dismissed in an unfriendly manner! Conclusion never again Marooush!!!!!! Positive things to mention are the delicious food and the lack of entry fees, but the store makes up for that with overpriced prices. It was really bottomless!!!

You can smoke shisha very well here. It's not the cheapest shisha, but the service is good and the quality is quite good. On weekends you should definitely make a reservation in advance.

Marooush offers a delightful Middle Eastern dining experience in a central location near Kurfürstendamm. The spacious restaurant has outdoor seating and a cozy shisha lounge, perfect for a relaxing evening. Their menu features a wide selection of mezze, each dish prettily plated with authentic flavors. The hummus was creamy and earthy, while the kibbeh was fried to perfection, with a delicious filling of minced lamb and bulgur wheat. The baba ganoush was tasty, although it leaned a bit too heavily on the smoked flavor for our preference. For dessert, the warm pistachio baklava was lovely. It was crunchy and oozing with syrupy goodness, a sweet ending to our meal. The price of 7€ for four small cubes of baklava, however, is overpriced. The service was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Overall, Marooush offers a tasty culinary journey through Middle Eastern cuisine.

Ambience was super aesthetic and food was very delicious as well. I went there with my colleagues and we ordered 3 Arabic starters and then 2 mixed platters (lamb kebabs, chicken and beef skewers, grilled veggies) and 2 seafood platters (salmon and tiger prawns, don’t remember actual names) and it was enough for 12. And 3 mixed deserts at the end. The Sauces they serve are amazing those were the real game changers.

I was recently there with a group of girls for a bachelorette party and everything was pleasant, the attention, the place and the music. The reason for giving one star is that the waitress when paying the bill forced us to give her €60 tip even though we told her we would leave €30, she still said it wasn't enough, it was €60! It seems like abuse and lack of respect to me because the tip is something that one gives voluntarily, not out of obligation!! If not, they should update their service prices and clarify that before going 😮‍💨😮‍💨🥴

A pure DISASTER! unfriendly employees. Organizationally zero!! Never again

Absolute impudence! We made reservations for 3 people and stated that we wanted to eat. When we arrived we were assigned a place with a small table that could fit a maximum of 1.5 to 2 plates. When we complained, we were told: the boss is sitting over there in the corner, you can go there and complain to him. We then left, the moment we got up the waiter came with other guests and gave away our table! How does something so outrageous get so many good reviews? And that despite the fact that we visit this restaurant every time we are in Berlin! But from now on never again!

The evening was a real blast!! A beautiful oriental oasis in the heart of Berlin. The food was fantastic and was only topped by the service. Definitely a recommendation. After our meal, we ended the evening with a delicious drink and a shisha and were able to explore the lovingly furnished bar area. My husband was thrilled about the large selection of different shisha tobacco. My recommendation is the apple-mint flavor.

I am a Middle East man came for visit in Berlin. Wanted to find a good Middle East food authentic. The service is A1 Getting the food was very quick Presentation was very good But the meat was tough. Hard to chew .

With a reservation (15 people, smoking area) you are forced to hand over your jackets to the cloakroom for money, even though you don't leave the store for less than €1000? Property was taken out of the jackets and you are simply fobbed off? Saturday evening, natural behavior of Arabs. Everyone has to know for themselves.

The New Year's Eve menu was okay, but not a revelation. The show program, however, was impressive (live music and singing, as well as belly dancing). The drinks menu was limited, the beer was non-alcoholic without warning. Drinks are a bit overpriced and not included in the event price. We were in the restaurant area. For young people there was also the neighboring shisha bar with its own DJ.

This restaurant is a scandal... unfriendly, overpriced and unbeatable in terms of incompetence

Management forced my friends and I to give up our loyal customers. We have been frequenting this restaurant regularly since 2020, at least twice a week. One of the partners or managing directors named "Tamer" shows either signs of Alzheimer's dementia or deliberate arrogance. Over a period of three years, he always treated us as if we were entering his restaurant for the first time and as if he didn't know us, even though we were regular guests. This past weekend, however, was the final straw and caused me to finally end my relationship with this establishment due to the unspeakable treatment. On our last visit we reserved a table for ten people, but there were only eight of us. It was known that two more people would be coming, which was also announced at the door. When the two people in question appeared at the door, I informed Tamer about this and was told that he would let them in immediately. However, after waiting for 20 minutes at three degrees below freezing, they were still not allowed entry. Instead, other people who were behind our group in line were given priority. After another half hour, I asked again the reason why our guests were not allowed entry despite reservations. I was informed that an unjustified entry ban had been imposed, even though we had made a reservation specifically for the two people. Despite everything, I was still respectful enough to let two people get up from our table and leave to make room. I told Tamer this and he said it was fine and they would be let in straight away. But even after an hour and a half, these female guests were still waiting at the door in sub-zero temperatures, while others were allowed in without any problems. This entry policy has been in place for years and many regular customers, including myself, will no longer patronize this establishment due to such incidents. When I pointed out to Tamer that I had been a regular customer for three years and that I and my companions regularly made four-figure sales, the manager seemed offended instead of proud. It should also be mentioned that we are all business people and always appear on site with a majority of women. It is unfortunate that even politicians like my father, who has already invited several MPs and ministers from abroad to this restaurant, will refrain from doing so in the future due to attempts to charge more than was ordered and after this story. I advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. Tamer behaves at the door as if you had to kiss his hand to gain entry despite reservations, enough ladies and four-digit sales. As a customer you are simply treated like dirt and the management is ungrateful and arrogant. Neither I nor my companions will ever enter this restaurant again and we will advise everyone not to do so. Luckily, Berlin offers many alternatives. Since it was mentioned in the previous comments that the restaurant is happy to have lawyers delete comments, I would like to say that in this case I will take legal action against it.

Food was ok but to be honest no in accordance with the price. 15 euros for a mojito!!! I guess is because of the live show which was really nice. Do not choose the smoking area even if you are a smoker at the end of the night the place was full with smoke, the do not have good ventilation on the room.

Das Ambiente ist schön. Es gibt einen Bereich für Raucher und nicht Raucher. Sofern man möchte, kann man mit einer Gruppe in einer Sitznische sitzen und ist so unter sich. Das Esse war sehr lecker. Wir hatte einen Auswahl an Vorspeisen und es war ausreichend.

Einfach nur toll. Wir hatten vorab reserviert und wurden herzlich zum Tisch zugewiesen. Toller Service, sehr aufmerksam und total freundlich. Sowohl das Essen, als auch die Getränke waren Spitze. Wir waren das erste Mal dort und würden immer wieder kommen. Danke.

Dieses Restaurant inmitten des Berlin Ku’damms ist sehr angenehm, das Essen ist wunderbar, der Service nett und schnell. Ab circa 21:30 beginnt der Bauchtanz und im Anschluss die Party im Nebenraum des Restaurants, wo immer was los ist. Das Publikum ist überwiegend orientalisch und es ist hier immer ein tolles Ambiente ohne Stress. Getränke und shisha im Party Bereich verfügbar, Service schnell.

Tolles Ambiente, wir hatten einen sehr guten sympathisch und sehr aufmerksamen Kellner. Das Lamm Kebap fand ich richtig lecker mit der gewürfelten Kartoffelbeilage. Tee fur 5 Euro fand ich etwas teuer. Wir hatten uns sehr auf die Bauchtänzerin gefreut und wollten mittanzen. Sie erschien 3 Mal fur.jeweils ca 7-10 Min. Machte keine Runden und konnten gar nicht tanzen, weil es zu kurz war. Das hatte ich vor ein paar Jahren anders erlebt. Deswegen waren wir auch an einem.Freitag Abend hingegangen.
