The place was nice and quite on a Monday evening. Very good location. But unfortunately, the food is at best okish and with poor price-performance. I have had much better middle eastern food in Germany.

The food was nice, and really tasty. However the service was very slow. At no stage were we asked if we wanted a dessert or even another drink. Pretty poor really

delicious food. I was there at lunchtime, but there is no special lunch offer. It was very empty in the restaurant - you have to deal with that (it's supposed to be very crowded in the evenings), but the food was good and the service was very nice and attentive.

Quite ok but really bad value for money. The plate with five falafel, some hummus and tabbouleh costs €22. Unspectacular bread is available for €2 extra. It's unlikely to fill you up and it's not particularly tasty either. The restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy. But you pay almost 100% extra for that and the location. It's not worth it to me personally. Given these prices (and in Mitte), I can't understand why card payments aren't accepted. The menu has a particularly unfriendly introduction and directly states that a reasonable tip is expected…

Real bad experience. We made a reservation for 40 people with a few “extras” nothing worked out. Unfortunately we spend a lot of money.

We were at Lawrence Berlin with a group of 15 people on a Monday and the restaurant was full. Even though it was busy, we were able to order quickly and the food was delicious. The service was friendly and on point. Everyone was satisfied and happy. Thank you for the great hospitality. We'll definitely come back.

The food is unseasoned, not appetizing. The prices are totally exorbitant for what is served to you. Card payment was not possible even though we asked beforehand, so we had to send the bill to a strange waiter via Paypal. There was also no response to the inconvenience. NEVER AGAIN

Quiet atmosphere in the early evening hours from 5:00 p.m. - perfect for cozy conversations among friends with good food and delicious wine.

Restaurant is nice, good for a date. Service is was ok, the girl was pretty new and insecure. Food was medium, tasteful but a bit dry and basic.

Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. The couscous with lamb was 3-stars, without flavor.

We wanted to visit the restaurant last Saturday and were told at the door that there were no seats left. The restaurant was 80% empty... We probably didn't look like we were leaving enough money. This has never happened to me before in any restaurant in Berlin, even at a higher price.

We really liked the atmosphere. The food was good, apart from the chicken, which was noticeably too dry. Unfortunately the service was very, very, very inattentive. We would have liked to order coffee and dessert. Unfortunately, we sat in front of our empty plates for 45 minutes, no one came, no one responded to us, even though we were sitting right at the entrance, where guests were constantly being picked up and brought to their seats. To pay we then had to speak to the “boss” directly. When he asked, "Everything's ok," we answered, in my opinion, in a friendly manner, that we would have liked to have coffee and dessert, but unfortunately we don't have any more time. His reaction was an example of a lack of critical ability and arrogance. He justified the inattentive service by saying that it was difficult to get staff. When he cautiously replied that it might still be possible to get to the table in 45 minutes if you were walking past anyway, he said, "Now listen, I'll tell you again, two employees didn't show up today. I'm the boss and I have to work as a waiter here...." Maybe we should have said that we were very aware that during the 2 hours we were there he sat at a table with acquaintances and talked for at least 1 hour; perhaps indicate that he did not really support his (new) employees during their induction; Perhaps I should give the tip that as an employee it is definitely annoying when the boss doesn't lend a hand in such situations and there is a chance that you won't come back the next day when people are looking for staff everywhere. Our impression was that the “boss” wasn’t interested. We hope that it was his sales that he didn't make ;-)

Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't keep what it promises. Contrary to the menu, some drinks were not in stock, and the oriental burger on the menu was also not available that evening. The dishes without typical Arabic spices and taste rather average. The high expectations set by the restaurant itself as the best Arabic restaurant could not be met and unfortunately did not convince us at all.

Delicious and atmospheric. Service is a special pleasure. The staff is unobtrusive, the waiters are smiling and helped me choose something that suited my mood. I particularly liked the moussaka! The place fully met our expectations, we will definitely come back again!

I highly recommend couscous with lamb and cauliflower. These dishes were recommended to us and we were very satisfied. The average bill per person is around 30 euros, which is very high for Berlin

Rarely I find something that is "just right" for me. Especially when the menu is extensive it is always difficult to choose. well it’s Aquarius moment. No dogma no unnecessary fuss - just flavor that speaks for itself. Veganism is not a manifesto here but the natural course of things. If you like to follow the impulse and find your own you already know the place. How does it feel? I think yea cause waiters made their work too cool for me it’s main.

The food itself was ok, but everything else was on the annoying side. The waitress first had to look for a seat in the almost empty restaurant, which didn't fill up throughout the evening. I didn't understand a single word she said anyway, even though my companion said it was probably bad English with a heavy Russian accent. In any case, I couldn't identify it as English. The menu begs for a tip right from the start. The operator is free to pay reasonable wages even above the minimum wage! I usually always give something, but tips are just that, not a replacement for wages. Begging for it right from the start, even before any performance has taken place, is the bottom drawer. Dishes ordered from the menu did not exist. The difficult communication was not particularly helpful in the re-election. Paying by card or cash didn't seem to work? I didn't understand her, she left a chip on the table and just left. My companion then paid via app. Google asked about the ambience. That corresponded to an average (but empty) Berlin cocktail bar. All in all, an unpleasant place.

The food was tasty, but at these prices, I was expecting a little more oomph. I had the Dajaj min Al-jabal—chicken breast stuffed with dates and pistachios, served with seasonal veggies and a creamy feta sauce. Fantastic idea, but the chicken was a bit on the dry side, and the veggies were softer than a backpacker after their first Berlin winter. Now, let’s talk prices. My dish was 25€, my mate’s was 29€, and honestly, you can find similar quality for around 15€ in other parts of Berlin. But the real eyebrow-raiser? The wine. We had the Classic Sauvignon Blanc from Barkan Cellars—nice enough drop, but at 39,50€ a bottle, I nearly asked if it came with shares in the vineyard. A quick Google later, turns out it retails for 6€. That’s a 558% markup! Even by restaurant wine standards, that’s some Olympic-level price hiking. All in all, a solid meal with great flavors, but the value for money needs a bit of a tune-up. Would I come back? probably not.

I walked in for a coffee and chose the Arab Mocha! It was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is peaceful , calm and beautiful! Agripina is a lovely hostess. Kind, patient and helpful. I hope to make it back for a meal before I leave Berlin! Thank you so much!

We had a reservation for a business dinner with 18 people. Many had the salmon dish, it was subpar, I've never had such a bad meal, even though we were given a special menu, my drink was forgotten and the portions are tiny for the price. My piece of salmon was also tiny, not fresh and hard like cardboard. I was very disappointed and so were some of my colleagues. No recommendations from me, and the nice atmosphere doesn't make up for it.

We spontaneously went out to dinner at Lawrence's and had a great evening. The food and drinks were delicious and we were served very friendly. It was a Saturday evening and a DJ was playing, which created a pleasant atmosphere.

It's a type of cuisine that you have to like, but I have to say that I ate really well. Very good lentil soup and the cauliflower wasn't bad either. It's not a cheap place but I definitely recommend the experience, enriched by a very good artist who played live.

Oh well. The ambience in the front area of ​​the restaurant is nice, the bar at the back is nice. I found red grave candles on the tables (those candles in glass that you sometimes use outside because of the wind) to be stylish. The hummus was very good, the matzah plate was good. The bread was bland and cold. The service barely uttered a word, no facial expressions, you only saw a smile after the tip. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Schöner Eingang und nett dekoriert. Empfangsmitarbeiterin hat unsere Reservierung auf ihrem Tablet nicht gefunden, bis wir speziell auf OpenTable hingewiesen haben. Essen recht hochpreisig angesetzt (z.B. €22 für einen vegetarischen Vorspeisenteller für 1 Person). Hauptspeise war gut aber nicht üppig, man sollte sich Beilagen dazu oder ein ganzes Komplett-Menu bestellen, um wirklich satt zu werden. Die Weine waren nicht wirklich gut. Am Telefon wird behauptet, nur EC-Karte und Bargeld werden akzeptiert. Jedoch war Kreditkartenzahlung am Ende doch möglich. Insgesamt ein netter Abend gewesen aber für orientalisches Essen in Berlin werden wir bei diesen hohen Preisen und dem eher unbeholfenen Servicepersonal nicht nochmal hierher kommen.

Después de reservar esto hace más de un mes y a 40 minutos a pie para llegar estábamos bastante destripados para encontrar 2 elementos principales en el menú principal no disponible. No hay razón o disculpa dada - simplemente no disponible. Reservamos a través de la aplicación Mesa Abierta no nos registraron a la llegada, así que tuvimos que confirmar con la aplicación que realmente asistimos a nuestra reserva. Pedimos (en términos básicos) 1 x kebab deconstruido 1 x pizza y 1 x botella de vino tinto y costó más de 99 € con CERO servicio al cliente! Después de la comida para colmo, anunciaron que solo aceptaban efectivo. Este restaurante necesita un gerente que tenga la atención al cliente en primer lugar en su agenda y quizás se replantee su menú (o incluso chef). ¡Uno para EVITAR, me temo!

I had a small soup of pureed red lentils - tasty, but nothing special, apart from the price - ten euros! There was no bread, just an egg cup full of chips and half a lemon. I thought it was overpriced. The service staff tried hard. Overall, a disappointing visit to the restaurant.

We were there solely for the atmosphere and drinks. Therefore, I can’t say anything about the food, unfortunately. I definitely give 5 stars for the incredibly cozy atmosphere, location (right next to the metro), very, very good service! The waiter guy was very friendly. The food prices seemed overpriced. We went to the bar for a few drinks. When one of us wanted to order a coffee, we were told there was no more and no water either. Two minutes later, the same service worker was sitting at the bar, drinking a coffee and looking provocatively at my friend, who also wanted one. Guys, service is really different. The second service person who brought the drinks was very nice and even brought us the water we requested. Later it was said that you couldn't pay with a card, it would be written outside (it wasn't). It was ok for a nightcap, but we won't be coming back again

I was there with a school class, the meal took 1 hour, the food was cold and the combination of ingredients on the burger were pretty inedible. The drinks consisted mostly of ice cubes and people were forgotten to serve them. The ambience, however, was very good.

Had to wait more than an hour to make a reservation, had food that made me vomit several times (burgers) and drinks tasted like water, at least the store looked okay (nice icons)

The Middle East Burger was inedible and sickening. The meat was cold and the various ingredients didn't go well with the burger. Drinks were forgotten otherwise the service was good and friendly. The ambience was nice, lots of lights, trees etc. After the burger we all had a stomach ache. I wouldn't recommend it 0/10
