Restaurant Phoenicia in Berlin

I am disappointed that the restaurant was closed due to a private event, especially since this was not mentioned on Google. We traveled a long distance to get here, and it would have been helpful to know in advance. Better communication and updates on platforms like Google would have saved us time and effort.

Really TOP: huge selection of excellent tasting dishes, unfortunately you can only try a small portion of them. This means that people are very happy to come and eat different dishes next time. Super friendly service: many thanks to Francesca.

We, my friend and I, came here spontaneously. Unfortunately we weren't satisfied. The wrong dish was brought to the table. After a short discussion, the right food was brought to us. Unfortunately we didn't feel so comfortable. The food was okay. We had the impression that a lot of convenience food was used.

It was a beautiful and pleasant evening, with live music and belly dancers, the ambience was simply fantastic. The food was very tasty and well seasoned and the portion was really sufficient. The staff and the service are very outstanding, you are welcomed politely and hospitably 🙏🏼🥰 the Turkish waiter looked after us very well and friendly, the other waiters were all nice too. After dinner we were surprised with a decorative fruit plate and a fountain ❤️ which was on the house. We thank you for the kind gesture and would definitely visit Restaurant Phenecia again. It's an atmospheric restaurant with nice service. When the music is loud, hardly anyone stays on their chairs. The belly dancer added even more effects to the atmosphere. It is highly recommended for family and company celebrations.

I have little experience with Arabic cuisine, but I found the food delicious. The service was great and very accommodating and the decor invites you to have a festive meal. Only the hall-like character of the restaurant detracts from the impression somewhat. When there's a lot going on, it certainly creates a lot of noise. But all in all a clear recommendation!

I followed the family's recommendations and went to the Lebanese restaurant Phenicia today. It's rare to find such good food and very professional yet super friendly service.

Excellent, authentic Lebanese cuisine and great staff. Whenever we are in Berlin, we always enjoy coming back here!

I can't say much about the other points. Just for service. We had reserved a table there for a Christmas party. When we arrived there was a closed group and no one knew anything about our reservation, which we had received confirmed by email two months in advance. They wanted to free a table for us, but instead we were put in the smoking lounge. It's a shame, we had heard a lot of good things and were looking forward to the evening there. We then left.

Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent cuisine, extremely courteous service (Erdal particularly stood out during our visit), dishes are explained in detail and recommended upon request. Had the shish tawouk and a chicken rice pan. The shish tawouk was average, but the chicken with rice was very underwhelming. The garlic sauce was extremely sour and not “garlicky”. Chicken was well cooked and veggies were fresh. Was not a fan of the loud music, besides which the place had a pleasant ambience.

Very friendly service, the food was very tasty and the home-baked bread was to die for. The whole restaurant has charm from the dining room to the toilet.

Food great! Ambience great! Unfortunately the waiters are either very sleepy or extremely careless. Our table was very full, and I had a bag on the table that was very elegantly pushed off the table with a plate (100% on purpose). I could clearly see that the waiter was pushing the bag down with the bread basket. I then asked why he was throwing the bag down. “It wasn’t intentional,” said the waiter. If the table is full, you should add another one as long as there are more plates and not throw anything down from the customer, there was no apology. Among other things, the waiters are sometimes very slow, we sometimes waited a long time for drinks even though the restaurant was empty, but the food was extremely quick! The food was great, but the service meant we won't be coming here again.

We invited very dear guests to eat at Phenicia because they didn't know Arabic cuisine. It was an absolute highlight!!! We ordered the menu for 4 people so that the guests could try everything that Lebanese cuisine has to offer. Everything tasted great, great food, great service and a great atmosphere!!! Everyone was thrilled, we're there often anyway and it won't be the last time the guests are there. Great!!!

The restaurant's meat is halal and the food is exceptionally Lebanese at a five-star level. The service is excellent, and I especially mention Brother Ismail. I ordered the tabbouleh 10/10 and the ribs (4 pieces of ribs plate) 10/10. As for the prices, I have no experience with Berlin restaurants to evaluate them, but I left you the bill in the pictures. The dining hall is luxurious.

Hummus was old and sour, as well as other mezze. Tried better kebabs. Atmosphere is fine. 3.5 to 4 stars. We were a large group. Total bill was north of 1300 eur.

Unfortunately we had to return an order because it was too salty. One chair was defective right from the start, the porcelain already had signs of wear and tear. Impressive array of Middle Eastern delicacies including a number of Lebanese wines. Shisha pipes are also available as well as a wide choice of Western style cocktails and mocktails, albeit at high prices. Distinguished, woody interior and a large street cafe area outside which is equally suited for fine dining.

Amazing food and service. We sat outside and got the fatoush, arayes kafta, and kafta bel forums - the arayes were so good we had to get another order! Would definitely recommend.

Addendum (after almost 5 years!): An attempt was made to challenge my review and it was reported for defamation. If you don't give a positive review, you should make sure that you keep receipts to prove that you really were a guest! You can clearly see from the photo I uploaded at the time that it is this restaurant. Because of this approach, I subsequently changed my rating from 2 to 1 star. As has been written here several times: The food is delicious, but on the one hand the portions are rather small and on the other hand the prices on the website are no longer correct. Most dishes were at least €2 more expensive than described. Unfortunately we only noticed this when we were already sitting... The drinks prices are also quite high (0.2l soft drink €3.50-3.80?) Unfortunately the service wasn't friendly either. The food was good, but really nothing special and due to the other points it was unfortunately a letdown. We won't come back again, the price-performance ratio is simply not right at all.

Tasty food and a good atmosphere in a well designed ambient. I had a small night snack and surely will get there again, with a beautiful date or my daughter's.

Very, very nice atmosphere, we sat outside on a warm summer evening and were welcomed more than courteously despite the late hour. There were also nice places to find inside. Top service, really attentive and communicative without being too intrusive. Super tasty food, which was ready very quickly - we heard it on the recommendation of the staff - and we were more than thrilled. Definitely worth a visit. We would definitely come back!! For us it was the perfect end to a short trip to Berlin.

The service, unfortunately, was not nice at all. We were still eating with the staff, but they were removing the food in front of us, knowing that we were still not sincere. I did not like the treatment at all.

The food is really tasty and beautifully presented. The charcoal grill is recommended. I like to enjoy a plate of fruit for dessert. Walnut pockets were recommended to me today. It's a shame that they weren't recommended to me before. Clear recommendation!

Was in a Lebanese restaurant for the first time. The food was interesting and tasty. I can't judge how authentic it was. The atmosphere was very nice and you felt like you were transported to another world. The service was very different. A young man guided us very well through the strange menu. While another waiter was unhappy that we didn't want any extras like coffee etc. after the meal and was correspondingly unfriendly when cashing out. It is an experience worth having but not worth coming back for.

Cozy restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating. The food is in a league of its own and tastes magical. The staff is friendly, but sometimes drinks or bread were brought a little later. Nevertheless, a highly recommended place if you want to eat something fancier. On Saturdays there is slightly louder live music.

Unfortunately, if you are a non-compatriot, or to put it more bluntly, if you don't wear a headscarf, you are often ignored. As a woman, approaching a waiter about a menu is passed on to the waitress. Not because the "master" doesn't serve at these tables, but because it is more important to exchange private information with other guests. Very unfortunate.

The impression is twofold. We came here, the waiters didn't pay any attention to us at all, all the rude waiters. If you are a tourist, then you have nothing to do here! We waited 20 minutes for a waiter who spoke English (he was the most normal). The food was delicious, but I won’t go here again!!!!!

Typical Arabic food. Quite okay to quite good. Fine ambience. Excessive prices. You pay more for the ambience than anything else. You can get equivalent and better food elsewhere for better prices. Caution! Many reviews were removed through “legal” action in order to boost their own rating. The rating went from 3 stars to 4.7. The current Rating on Google Maps is not truthful.

Typisch arabisches Essen. Ganz okay bis ganz gut. Feines Ambiente. Überhobene Preise. Man zahlt eher für das Ambiente als für alles andere. Gleichwertiges und besseres Essen kriegt man auch anders für bessere Preise. Vorsicht! Viele Rezensionen wurden auf Google Maps entfernen durch "rechtliches" Vorgehen um das eigene Rating hoch zu pushen. Das Rating ging Von 3 Sterne auf 4,7. Die jetzige Bewertung auf Google Maps ist nicht Wahrheitsgetreu.

Well i chose this restaurant because the it’s ambience, which was really good. Food was okish i had more expectations. Waiters were nice and were able to speak German What i was pissed of, that they were not accepting cards even though having a big fancy restaurant and that also in a posh area and they’re only taking cash. For me it was just an average restaurant apart from the ambience.

A lovely evening with plenty of delicious Lebanese dishes. We ordered "a bit of everything" and that's what we got. There was a lot and it tasted really good. Hookah and belly dancing helped to end a good experience. We brought home what we couldn't eat.

Very nice restaurant. We made a reservation and specifically asked for a table in a corner because we wanted to eat there with 5 children and it doesn't always go down well, but it was completely different here. The waitress was great with the children. She let her place her order herself and also involved the children in choosing the color of the plates. So the service was top notch. The food came very quickly and everything was served together. Of course the drinks came first. In between we were asked once or twice if we wanted anything else. The food was also really delicious.
