Delicious food and friendly, yet very professional service.

Over 20 mailboxes deliberately ignored the "No Advertising" sign. This constitutes a violation of the law. I would never eat at such a place. Simply rude, unpleasant, and intrusive.

Authentic Lebanese restaurant. The appetizers are especially recommended.

Always delicious food and great service

Disgusting food that gave me food poisoning... Went there to order "Kafta" and I even asked the waiter about the dish to confirm it was a recipe I've known. They brought me a bitter soup with meat pieces that had bad texture, and sour taste like it was rotten meat! Unfortunately I tasted some of the dish as I was hungry but it was inedible and of course I had to leave it before vomiting from the taste; little did I know I would have a stomach & gut problem shortly after... The other appetizer I ordered was microwaved and tasted like frozen food. Avoid the trouble & eat somewhere else that won't hurt your health & appetite.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Absolute crap, what they're doing there. Reservations aren't kept, and then the waiter yells at you, even though it's the restaurant's fault. The tables aren't set, and the waiters are extremely rude. I've never experienced such abysmal service, if you can even call it service. You wait forever for your order, there's absolutely no order, and the waiters tend to forget which order belongs to which table. As you can read in previous reviews, the owner is apparently no better than his staff. This definitely fits the picture: the worst and most unfriendly service I've ever experienced. Embarrassing. The staff, with a few exceptions, are garbage. The restaurant itself looks nice, but that's it; I absolutely don't recommend it! Save your money and go to a restaurant where you're respected and receive the service you pay for. Once and never again!

Came here for lunch. Quite an empty day for the restaurant. I informed the waiter I was gluten free prior and he told me he will adjust the dishes to suit my dietary requirements. We ordered the lamb and chicken platter (which was labelled to not contain gluten on the menu) but unfortunately when it came , it had 2 pieces of flat bread on it and the entire dish was also served on top of a piece of flat bread - the bread rendered the entire dish not gluten free. The rice we requested instead of potatoes also had noodles in them which also made them not gluten free. The waiter told us to remove the pieces of meat on the dish and had the flat breads removed and changed the rice to yellow rice w veggies. A little bummed by this experience. Food tasted otherwise okay.

So, we went into the restaurant "Phoenicia" - to have a cultural snack. Our people are not picky, but still, a modern person is used to the fact that if he orders tea or lemonade, it does not take half an hour, but still a little faster. Especially since the restaurant is empty, and the waiters are in slow motion, as if they are showing an old movie. And the interior! Apparently, they wanted to show the East in all its glory: and the name is sonorous, and the Arabic music screams so that the soup in the plate trembles. Only the walls are peeling, the plaster is peeling off - right under the pathos, all the romance crumbles on the shoulders. Of course, we are patient people, but we asked to turn down the music. Politely. So at the end of the day, they turned it off. Silence, you know, also decorates Eastern cuisine. In general, the food is normal for lovers of Lebanese (?) cuisine. The atmosphere is for lovers of the theatre of the absurd. Overall rating: a solid 3.5. And that's more for the effort and for turning off the music.

It was our first time here, we were looking for some grilled meat and here their food was very delicious. Tasty dish completed with the great manner of the staff. They have a kind of bread which they back themselves and it is strongly recommended. Over all we had a pleasent night there.

While oriental music plays in the background, the Lebanese food clearly takes center stage. I particularly enjoyed some delicious (and tender!) lamb and eggplant dishes. Nothing compared to the tough lamb I've had in other restaurants. The service is also very friendly and attentive. All in all, definitely worth a visit!

Food was great, staff was great, would love to come back

Contaminated water! Halfway through the meal I asked for a glass of water and the manager told me it was “forbidden” as someone had recently gotten sick from the water and had to go to hospital! Since Berlin tap water is fine to drink, I was very perturbed - I had already eaten most of the meal prepared (presumably) with water, and served on plates washed (presumably) with water. Won’t go again.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, a perfect combination of flavors. The restaurant reflects the atmosphere of the dishes served. It is definitely a place worth visiting to eat perfectly seasoned grilled meat, or delicious hummus, salads and flatbread baked in the oven.

We met at Phoenicia for lunch. It wasn't very busy. We received quick and courteous service. The food was delicious. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Awesome jewel in the area, really tasty food (chicken with pomegranate, entrectoe, humus etc) really good taste and fair prices. Totally worth it, I eat there sometimes but also order delivery. Basically ANYTHING you order is good (toaboule fatoush etc). Drinks can get a bit expensive at the restaurant, but ok. And good service

An absolute recommendation! We were here for a bachelorette party, and everything was decorated to our liking and even beyond. The staff were all super friendly. As for the food itself, I can only say it was delicious! The price/performance ratio was absolutely perfect. I would eat here again anytime. Even the guests there were friendly and, despite the atmosphere, absolutely welcoming. A location worth visiting!

Christian Lebanese restaurant, excellent service and food

Today was my third time dining at Phoenicia with a small group, and once again, I was not disappointed. The starters are incredibly delicious, and the main courses (we had mixed meat platters) were a dream. I would especially like to highlight our super-friendly server, Erdal. Erdal patiently advised us at the beginning and always had a friendly smile on his face from start to finish. That's service. Excellent! We felt very comfortable, and this certainly won't be my last visit to Phoenicia.

I ate at this restaurant with my girlfriend yesterday morning. We're from Frankfurt. The waiter greeted us politely and selected a delicious meal for us. Lebanese food. The service was excellent. If we ever come back to Berlin, we'd love to come back!

After we got a table we sat and waited 10-15 min without anyone coming for ice cream with a menu or to ask us, then we got up and left. Then they became aware, but we had had enough of waiting 👎🏻

We came here for dinner and shisha afterward, and we had a great time. The staff is quite accommodating, and the food is great. There is also a belly dancing show there, which was quite cool!

Local fish (Zander) meets Orient. Large selection of oriental dishes. Consistently delicious, although the appetizer still gave the impression of convenience kitchen.

What a great restaurant this is. Very chic, but the menu is full of affordable delicacies. After some thought, the four of us took the 8 cold and 8 hot mezzes, more than enough and what a wealth of flavors, wonderful. Accompanied by a decent glass of the delicious Lebanese house wine. Great!

The cold mezze platter was a poem - unfortunately too much for two as a starter, so we couldn't really enjoy the main course. However, the main courses were no longer quite as creative. Franziska's service is even more competent and lovely. We'll definitely come back 😋

We had a great time dining at this restaurant on multiple occasions. The atmosphere was great, the food was pleasing and consistent, and our server Francesca was amazing. She was kind and very professional and truly took really good care of us. We highly recommend a visit. FYI- They have English menus available and indoor and outdoor seating

The food was okay, but unfortunately I can't recommend this place. The reason for this is the disrespectful employees who make you feel unwelcome if you are “not a countryman”. It is disappointing that the quality of service depends so much on the origin of the guests. In a restaurant you not only expect good food, but also friendly and respectful treatment. In this case, the rude service clearly marred the experience. It's a shame about the potential of this place!

best recommendation 5 stars feels like home with Arabian desert and food

The meze were really excellent and we really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, the main courses couldn't quite maintain this high level. Personally, the couscous was a bit too soft for me and the fish was slightly overcooked. Service was attentive but had difficulty assigning dishes correctly. There was also loud music playing the whole time, which made it difficult to have a conversation. A reservation probably wouldn't have been necessary as the restaurant was quite empty on a Friday evening despite its size.

I had put a 3 star but changed to 1 star because they are reporting all average or negatives reviews as defamation and getting Google to remove the reviews. You can also see that there are other reviewers who faced the same issue. The rice was mushy and not that tasty. It was definitely not worth the price. Sheesh tavouk was decent.

I can't say anything about the food and ambience. Just for service. We had reserved a table there for a Christmas party. When we arrived there was a closed group and no one knew anything about our reservation, which we had received confirmed by email two months in advance. They wanted to free a table for us, but instead they put us in the smoking lounge and ignored us. It's a shame, we had heard a lot of good things and were looking forward to the evening there. Unfortunately there wasn't even an apology or anything like that. We then left. Addendum: negative reviews will be deleted and you will be accused of defamation.

I am disappointed that the restaurant was closed due to a private event, especially since this was not mentioned on Google. We traveled a long distance to get here, and it would have been helpful to know in advance. Better communication and updates on platforms like Google would have saved us time and effort.
