We managed to snag two tables online quite spontaneously. The interior design, the lighting, the atmosphere were very pleasant. The food wasn't trying to overwhelm with quantity. The service was friendly, polite, and competent. Our mezze were absolutely delicious, as was the Lebanese red wine. The prices reflected the truly excellent quality of the food. We'll definitely be back. So stay tuned for a while!

We received a very friendly welcome upon arrival – the entire team was attentive, warm, and always in a good mood. The food was simply fantastic! Everyone in our group loved it – from the starters to the main courses and desserts, everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. The vegetarian options were also very popular. The location is modern, cozy, and has a simply wonderful atmosphere – perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or family. In short: great food, super friendly staff, and an all-around wonderful experience! We'll definitely be back.

Service is very fast and friendly, and it's a good restaurant for big groups, especially on the tables outside. With the food however I'm a bit on the fence. When it comes to levantine dishes, fortunately Berlin has many great restaurants, and with very low prices. In this case it feels like there's a Pberg tax on them, which makes you either expect the best thing ever, or be disappointed because of overpaying. In the end they were ok but nothing out of the ordinary, so I would not come back soon.

Had a chance to come here recently to celebrate my birthday with 13 friends. The service before to plan this was excellent and also during the course of the evening. Thank you to the team for giving all of us a great night. Of course the food was excellent as well (set menu bc of the number of guests)! It was already our fourth time there, so no question about that. The wine is also outstanding. We had a vegetarian in the group who also had many options. I loved it so much I barely took a photo! Thanks to everyone!

We visited the restaurant without a reservation and were informed that a table was available. However, we were not advised that there would be a two-hour time limit. Shortly after placing our drink orders—within just five minutes—the bill was brought to our table without any prior notice, and we were asked to leave immediately. When we provided feedback regarding the lack of clear communication with customers, the staff did not acknowledge any oversight and responded in an unprofessional manner. While the food was quite enjoyable, the overall service experience was disappointing and in need of improvement.

The food was good, but the service was very poor. We were never informed of a 2-hour time limit, yet the staff took our orders as usual and then abruptly told us we had to leave while we were almost at the beginning of our drinks, because of another reservation. They even suggested we finish our drinks in the basement, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. They did not also show the receipt while making the payment. Good food doesn’t make up for such poor treatment.

Food is decent, service unfortunately slow and borderline rude. Don’t do it.

Yesterday, we went to this restaurant with a group (10 people). We accepted the offer to order cold and warm appetizers, a main course, and a dessert for €40 per person. The food was very tasty and plentiful. Although it was precisely counted: a piece of chicken, a piece of lamb, a falafel, etc. per person. With a large Alster and a small beer, I expected a bill of €51. I wanted to pay by debit card, which wasn't a problem. However, the machine showed an amount of €54.45. I was surprised, but I paid and added €3 in cash as a tip. When I asked about the price of the beer, MY bill was correct. The amount was calculated because "for large groups, a 10% tip is always automatically added" (which, mathematically, wasn't correct at all). This had been communicated beforehand. Strangely, none of us 10 people knew about it. [It was probably the fee for the card payment.] Which wasn't announced either.] The colleagues who paid in cash were given the correct amount. However, they also pointed out that a 10% tip was customary. (Aren't tips generally a voluntary gift in Germany?) Unfortunately, the bill completely ruined my evening in retrospect. It's not about the money, but about the principle. Blatant rip-off! (No, I didn't ask for the €3 tip back. That was too stupid for me.) But we won't be going there again.

Tasty, friendly, but a bit too expensive

I had high expectations knowing this restaurant is part of a well-known group in Jordan, but unfortunately, the food was a major disappointment. Some of the dishes we ordered had an odd taste, and when I raised a complaint, the staff did nothing to address it and still charged us. While the atmosphere was pleasant and our waitress was friendly, the food simply didn’t meet the mark. We ended up stopping at the appetizers and decided not to order any main courses. It was also extremely overpriced for the quality. I do not recommend this place.

I’m sorry but 22 € for a few pieces of chicken breast skewer with a couple of pieces of pita and a little bit of toom, is just crazy money, even for the area. The same goes for the soggiest french fries I’ve ever had for 6 €. The fatteh and shawarma were nice but also really small portions for the price. All in all, a disappointing experience for me.

Locale delizioso, camerieri gentilissimi, cucina siriana fantastica. Sempre gustosissime le melanzane con gli anacardi, che avevo già assaggiato. Ottimi I funghi, il riso con le cipolle, i felafel; gustosissimo il pane che viene servito in un paniere circolare. Meraviglioso il dolce. La scoperta di questa volta è stato il vino, un rosso libanese veramente buono. SimSim nel cuore.

Very tasty offer, also suitable for vegans, I would only like more warm things for the starters/mezze, the eggplant and the cauliflower could seem even more harmonious (in the culinary sense)! Hummus was very good, falafel was also great (not dry on the inside, but fluffy with chickpeas). Allocation of space: in winter you should avoid the row of tables facing the door, it drags all evening, as the offer is also very well received by the delivery services. Card payment possible. Cash payment is preferred!

Great ambience, great service and unbeatable taste.

So glad we found this place. Service was great and the food was absolutely perfect. We ordered the chicken shish, baba ghanoush, batata harra (crispy potatoes), vegan kibbeh, shrimp provençal and knafeh. I don’t have anything negative to say about any of the dishes, they were all fantastic! Very vegan and veggie friendly too.

We really enjoyed our evening at Simsim. The food was full of flavors and you could really sense the dedicated preparation in each dish. Also, the staff was extremely polite and and the atmosphere cosy in a beautifully decorated setting. We will definitely come back :-)

We received our cocktails at the same time as the food! Twice saw servers, whose attention was hard to attract, checking their phones. Food pretty good (though not a bargain); lovely place and atmosphere; but they need to upgrade the service.

The ambience is nice, a bit dark. Unfortunately it was uncomfortably cool inside in the evening. The service is excellent, everyone is very friendly. Unfortunately the food was a bit disappointing, it tasted good, but I would have expected more for this price. Hummus and falafel for over €20, I can get the same quality at the snack bar. The lemonade was delicious, but €7 was definitely too much. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, although the food was tasty, but it was far too expensive.

We were here with a larger group on Saturday evening and were given a set menu, asked about allergies and then served various dishes. The food was the best I've eaten in Berlin in a long time and the service was extremely friendly! The selection of vegetarian dishes was great and I can also highly recommend the homemade mint lemonade! A new favorite restaurant for me.

The restaurant is nice if you sit in the upper part. The service is friendly. Unfortunately, I found the food to be far too bland and a bit overpriced. I wish I could give more stars. But the rice was tasteless and the fries were soggy. Unfortunately, the food was completely cold after just 10 minutes. The quality of the meat was good, but that's what I expect for €26 for 3 pieces.

Unbelievable Treatment and absolute scam. To charge 50 euros per head as a minimum consumption fee is absolutely ridiculous for the type of food, service and location. Overpriced to say the least, you can find equally good food all around neukölln for a fifth of the price. - and there they won't make you pay more than what you're going to be eating.

We got a table near the stairs, not the best one, but I did not bother. The food was delicious, as Lebanese cuisine in general. We also got Lebanese red wine, which was good to accompany the food. The personal was very friendly and gave good food recommendations. The prices are on a higher range, but it’s worth it.

The two of us had dinner here yesterday. The restaurant made a good impression right from the start, the outside area is clean and you are greeted at the door. The waiter was extremely courteous and offered us a table upgrade. The menu is clear, the only drawback is the box at the top left which describes how many dishes are suitable for how many people. This is written in very small letters and is probably difficult to read for older people. Otherwise, the menu is very clear and the dishes are well selected. We chose a variety of baba ganoush, falafel, vegan kibbeh, vegan shawarma, grilled halloumi and pickled cucumbers with olives. The dishes were excellently prepared and the taste was more than just excellent! However, we could easily have done without a meal, as the bread served also fills us up. Next time we would also add the cauliflower, which also looked very delicious. When it comes to drinks, there is definitely an extensive wine list and various other drinks. Unfortunately, non-alcoholic beer is not listed but is available in the form of a Hefeweizen. All in all, the service was more than satisfactory and our waiter took care of all our needs. He also always had the answer ready if you weren't sure whether a dish would suit your taste. Ultimately, the ambience is well chosen, the bar is a good eye-catcher and the layout of the room is very clear. We would be happy to come back here and let our palate be pampered again next time.

This place is a gem. The delicious, fresh food was served with a smile. Would highly recommend trying their falafel, classic hummus and the mixed grill platter. Restaurant itself is quite small, so would recommend reserving a table ahead of time.

As soon as you entered, you were impressed by the warm ambience with typical decoration, soft lighting and pleasant music. The menu impressed with traditional dishes like hummus and baba ghanoush, served fresh and full of flavors. Particularly noteworthy was the attentive and friendly service, which perfectly reflected the hospitality of oriental culture. Food ok, but rather average for the price level. There are much better restaurants in Berlin. The chicken, which was supposed to be cooked for 48 hours with a marinade, tasted like an average chicken from the pan at home and was completely unspectacular, so we were a little disappointed. It was also irritating that the food was on the table within 5 minutes of ordering, so it is questionable whether it was freshly prepared.

The food is very good and probably some of the best hummus in Prenzlauer Berg. I would recommend booking a table via phone to avoid giving your credit card online. The only downside for me is that their kitchen closes very early for dinner, so a reservation at 20h30 translates into having the food arriving on your table and the staff asking if anything else is desired because they are closing the kitchen. Card payments possible although sometimes it seems the machine/network is not working

We walked by Sim Sim earlier in the afternoon and had a nice conversation w the waiter Amir. Amir was kind enough to discuss the restaurant w us even though we weren’t eating at that moment. He suggested a few plates to try after we looked at the menu. Amir made reservations for us later on that evening. We ordered the chicken, two types of shrimp w humus and potatoes and a salad. Amir had said the chicken was best and he was right! I’m thinking of having it again before departure.

Just had dinner and the food was delicious. Too bad service was not great. Waiter took our order it was delivered and never saw him again until he came by to say the kitchen will close soon. Yet we saw him catering to other tables. Not great customer service, too bad!

We had a nice evening at Simsim Levantine Eatery. The atmosphere is really nice & cozy. In summer you can also sit comfortably outside. The food was tasty but not exceptional in my opinion. The price-performance ratio wasn't right, especially with the vegan shawarma, especially since it cost just as much as the meat.

The food was super tasty. The ambience both inside and outside is cozy and atmospheric. Unfortunately, the inattentive service marred the experience somewhat. We had reserved a table outside, but had to wait inside because there was no table available outside. We had to wait a long time for someone to come to us during each process. The menu didn't come for ages and then we had to wait another long time before we could order. And even after asking several times about the table outside, we were forgotten and sat inside all evening.

The food is good and freshly prepared but our experience was quite unpleasant and we will not return. We arrived without reservation, there were 8 of us and the service gave us two options, either a menu for €36 or a minimum consumption of €50 per person. We took the menu and the quantity was far too generous for big eaters. So we left the restaurant too full and having eaten too much. It's a shame to impose quantities...

Unbelievable experience and service created by our waiter, Amir and finger-licking food! The mixed grill plate was a great way to test different dishes as recommended by our waiter. We can recommend the tabouleh, baba ganoush and hummus as appetizer, again recommended by Amir. We'd come back!

Not cheap but worth it. Exceptionally friendly staff made as feel welcome from the start. We let them choose the meals for us and got a wonderful collection. Even the simplest dishes are distinctly better than elsewhere.

The food is quite expensive but OK and makes an effort to be authentic. The one star is for the fact that the boss (I'm assuming the gentleman with the laptop at the counter is the boss) has no problem talking about the guests in Arabic, but doesn't seem to have any idea that his guests are watching him could understand. It should be explicitly stated here again that the rating does not apply to the service.

We spontaneously had dinner at Simsim. You can sit outside very nicely. The tables are a bit small for the many plates. You order several dishes. Similar to tapas. Everything was very tasty and we couldn't stop eating even though we were so full. The chicken grilled on the skewer was so tender and deliciously seasoned. The portions are good and you share everything. A great concept. The mint lemon lemonade was super refreshing. The waiters were always rotating and kept busy. We had to ask for the bill twice. But that was fine. There was also a lot going on. We liked it very much. We will be back!

SimSim is and remains one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin! Everything is always fantastic!

La décoration de la salle est très réussie : on a véritablement l'impression d'être transporté au Proche Orient, grâce au mobilier, aux objets (lampes en métal martelé) et aux photos. Les serveurs sont sourants et efficaces. Tout ce que nous avons commandé était délicieux. J'ai particulièrement aimé les falafels, le poulet mariné accompagné de sauce yaourt et le kofta (viande hachée d'agneau et de boeuf). En dessert, il faut goûrt la glace à la gomme arabique, saveur vanille et rose, accompagnée de pistaches. Il faut absolument réserver pour avoir une table. Nous y retournerons lors de notre prochain séjour à Berlin.

The food was really excellent. The only thing that really shocked me was the high price. To fill yourself up you have to order some mezze. The two of us ended up with 80, - (including a glass of wine). But otherwise full 5 points.

Underwhelming and overpriced food. The tabule costed 12€ and it was mainly uneatable dry parsley. The food didn't taste fresh.
