Very bad not even 2 starts Oil is too old and bad , u can feel how heavy it is I couldn’t eat my plate

I used to go there about 20 years ago and it was great. However, tonight I ordered a takeaway via Uber (vegan mixed platter) - I received the wrong order - there was lots of meat on there, which I didn't even initially notice, as it was under the salad. This is very upsetting for ethical reasons but also potentially harmful healthwise, as meat can cause severe stomach issues to people who haven't eaten meat for a long time. I decided just to avoid the meat and eat the other things. The falafels were okay, but it turned out that the aubergine dip was rancid and rotten. I had to spit it out and rinse my mouth. I hope I won't get food poisoning. I don't usually leave negative reviews, as I support small businesses and understand that sometimes mistakes are made, that's absolutely understandable. But this was a severe health hazard, so I thought perhaps it's the responsible thing to warn others. Now I read the other comments about the lack of hygiene there and am even more scared...

Habibi was my favorite place for felafel for decades. Now, I've been disappointed three times in the last three visits! The felafel tasted like nothing, the sauce was watery, and the bread was rock hard. The place has always been a bit dingy, but now it's just filthy, and it's disgusting to even sit there. The staff is also completely unmotivated. They clearly no longer care about quality or service. It's a real shame—I won't be going back.

Today, after several visits to this restaurant and a 7-hour drive, I finally want to share my experience. 🌟 The restaurant has a simple yet very cozy oriental atmosphere that reminds me of home. 🕌✨ The food is incredibly delicious – I'm sure you won't find a taste like it anywhere else in Europe! 😋🥙 The owner and the entire team are also exceptionally friendly and welcoming – you immediately feel at home. 💛 The service is simply outstanding, everything is made with love. Great falafel and shawarma with Berlin charm!

Delicious as always. I haven't been there in a while, but the food is still some of the best in Berlin.

During an eat the world tour I tried the supposedly best falafel in Berlin... it was ok, but nothing more

It's a simple Lebanese fast-food restaurant located on a busy square in western Berlin. There's always a small line; you order at the counter and can eat in or take away. The dishes are the same as you'd expect from Lebanese food: always very fresh, always perfectly seasoned, always a delight without any pretensions. A place you'll return to again and again when you're hungry.

This was by far the worst falafel, with unfriendly service and unbearable music. Never again.

I've known the shop for 23 years and was a regular customer. Tourists are better served than we are. It's a shame that this is the case in several shops in Berlin. I think that they are not well qualified in the service area.

10/10 the meat is actually real meat and the Preis-Leistungsverhältnis is also great. shawarma is 6 euros

Delicious food reminiscent of the old days, although the portions have become a bit smaller. It still tastes delicious and is always something special. The complimentary black tea is also highly recommended.

Shawrma is very bad and has nothing to do with shawrma

They have the best falafel I've ever eaten here. The best part is that they're freshly prepared and not frozen, and they come in delicious bread to match – simply delicious and relatively inexpensive.

Anyone who loves good shawarma will certainly be disappointed here. I had the shawarma plate with practically unseasoned meat – completely unloving. If I had eaten the entire dish blindfolded, I would never have guessed I was in an Arabic restaurant.

This is the emptiest falafel in all of Berlin. Not ideal for €6. But what's inside is delicious.

For 37 years now, it's still my favorite place for falafel. The falafel plate is simply fantastic, and today I was there for the first time in over 20 years (as a Berlin resident who moved away), this time with my wife and kids 😂 Maybe it's nostalgia, but whatever, it was perfect! I hope to come back sooner. :)

Your idea of a shawarma is sick 💀. I just got one, and what happened? The bread (first time I've seen this with a shawarma) is simply thrown in the microwave, and that's it. The meat was also disgusting.

I went there today to buy some food, but while I was waiting, I noticed that the staff were talking and laughing in Arabic about whether I am a boy or a girl. As a trans man who understands Arabic, this was deeply disrespectful and hurtful. Because of the pressure, anger, and stress, I couldn’t even place my order and decided to leave. This kind of behavior is unacceptable.

Everything was exactly what we were hoping for. My wife and I paid 10€ for dinner, and the food was delicious. And the staff were incredible. I wish we had restaurants like this where we live!

Food was really good for the price. Got a sandwich with shawarma and was only just full - the serving could be slightly larger.

A cozy place, very lively and special.

Well, the kitchen doesn't ask how you want your food. So you get everything slapped on your plate. Fries without ketchup or anything. So, it's mediocre and the service is pretty poor.

I stopped by Habibi with my parents, my brother, and my lovely wife, and we loaded up on delicious food. The Habibi plate with halloumi? Divine. My father was so impressed, he licked the plate clean like there was no tomorrow (see photo). My wife had the falafel sandwich, celebrated it too, and was about to cheat on me with it. €12 per portion, cash payment from €10. At the end, we were all sitting there, all with full stomachs and big grins.

If you're looking for a quick, good falafel meal and a freshly squeezed orange juice, this is the place for you. The ambiance isn't exactly spectacular. Habibi means darling or friend, and it's actually one of our favorite fast-food restaurants when we're nearby.

I LOVE this place! Everything about Habibi Winterfeldt Kiez is just right for me: The food is authentic and full of flavor – and there's this special atmosphere that can't be described, you just have to experience it. If you like it☺️. And the background music does the rest. It's important to note: This isn't a traditional restaurant, but rather a self-service shop right on Winterfeldtplatz – but that's precisely what makes it so charming. Fast, welcoming, honest, and simply delicious.

Food is delicious but the waiter is really unfriendly and put meat in my vegan falafel plate after mistakenly serving me a shawarma plate first. Made me think like he just scraped the meat of the plate carelessly without consideration. Bathrooms are filthy too.

Not my favorite middle Eastern eatery in Berlin but one of the best ones in my opinion. Quite traditional, very very friendly, excellent attitude and service. The shawarma is juicy and quite homey with a particular set of spices that is slightly but noticeably different. Falafel is one of the good ones but I prefer versions with more fresh herbs which are few and far between. I prefer to get the plates here as the wrapped meats are more salad like than I prefer but very fresh and balanced nonetheless. Excellent.

A restaurant in Winterfeld Platz with the possibility of sitting outside. The menu is very extensive and for all tastes. I tried the vegetarian dish with their homemade falafel. Everything was very good and also satisfying in terms of portions. The baba ganoush and hummus were also very good. Prices are normal, great for lunch or even a savoury snack!

I've been going there for a long time; the value for money was very good, and you always left feeling full. It used to be a really great place! Unfortunately, that's history; the portions have gotten very small, which you can see in many of the reviews lately. I had a small plate for 10 euros and I didn't feel full. Mind you, it was completely meatless, falafel, halloumi, just vegan (potato and salad), and still not enough salad. It's outrageous. Hygiene isn't taken very seriously, and the music is often incredibly loud. I'm giving it two stars for the tea, which, unfortunately, isn't offered just like that anymore. It's not worth eating there anymore!

The best shaorma in this region of Europe

Had dinner with the family today after a long time. The food is good, it really tastes good, but these bad-tempered employees who don't feel like packing up uneaten portions are a no go. This isn't the first time that they've attracted such negative attention. I have been a customer here for 20 years. But the employees are becoming increasingly rude and unhygienic. But yesterday the SHOCK came. I saw a mouse running around in the kitchen while I was making my order 🤮🤮🤮

Petit Kebab très fréquenté sur la place Saint Matteas à Schoenberg, quelques tables à l'extérieur, dans un quartier où il y a de nombreux établissements similaires. Le carrelage est usé mais la salle est propre. Plusieurs hommes se démènent en cuisine. Service de livraison. Les falafels sont recherchés ainsi que les kebabs. Bien entendu pas de bière ... Assortiments de petits gâteaux orientaux Par contre les frites étaient mal cuites !

I ordered a shawarma plate, the meat was really very good. Unfortunately, the portion was too small to fill you up, and the chef should tell you that you can cut tomatoes smaller. The tomatoes and cucumbers were sliced ​​so thickly that they took up a good amount of space on the plate.

Together with El-Reda in Moabit, Habibi on Winterfeldplatz has the best shawarma in the city for me. Nice and friendly staff, good prices - what more could you want?

It used to be really nice there and I always enjoyed eating there, but now it's a quick turnaround. The friendliness leaves a lot to be desired... it seems dingy and then it's a lot more expensive! You know that! But then making the portions smaller is not consumer-friendly :-( I won't go there anymore. Too bad!

Since it was sold the laundry has decreased significantly. Rims and back remain dirty...

I had a very bad experience and since yesterday I have had a stomach ache from disgusting vegetarian halume and falafel. Bread was very old, there was a piece of meat in it 🤢 you can forget about it being unfriendly and hygienic. So never again.

When was I here for the first time - 35 years ago? The falafel and grilled vegetables as well as the freshly squeezed juices are still top. I don't eat meat anymore, but the shawurma also looked good.

You just can't eat it properly, I'm actually used to it at Habibi, but the new spice mix makes the meat taste like pepper. The mango sauce is no longer the same... what upset me the most is that it's just too lame... My tip: work faster. Do not reheat in microwave. Pack sandwiches better. I'll try again in six months...

Delicious food, unfortunately the service has become much worse. Prices were partly made up and were different than on the menu. From now on I'll go eat falafel somewhere else.

Came for shawarma but unfortunately ran out. Tried falafel. It was decent, fresh. Added salad not great and big cuts. Charged extra 0.5 euro. Asked why and was told because of service. Not sure what service he meant and nothing at all in the menu about it. 0.5 euro is nothing but the this act of ripping of tourists is just ridiculous .

Unreallll food. I got the vegan teller, and it was so filling, so reasonably priced, and completely delicious. The atmosphere is very simple, and you wouldn’t suspect the food would be as good as it was, but it was some of the best falafel I’ve ever had.

Great food, quite traditional and with that homemade taste. They are quick to prepare, reasonable prices and easy you can also pay with card above 10 euros. There aren’t many places to seat and it’s frequently crowded due to the nature of the region. Still, one of my favorite “root” schwarma, not adapted to the German taste, remaining more “original” taste. Prices are quite reasonable and you can also enjoy your meal in the park during the week days.
