An amazing place to dine in.Really good people and very delicious food.

Every time I go there, they have a new list of prices. The food doesn't really compare to the price. I don't want to exaggerate, but the prices there are really high: €70 for two people.

Completely overpriced for what is offered – compared to other Iraqi restaurants.

Not even one star. The food was cold and simply warmed up in the microwave. Never again!

We used to really enjoy going there, but the prices are now outrageous, completely out of keeping with the quality. Since the coronavirus pandemic, you've been getting ripped off everywhere. Not only have the prices risen dramatically, but the portions have also gotten smaller, which is really cheeky.

To be honest, I'm very disappointed. I've always eaten here. The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Since then, the prices have risen significantly (in a way that's incomprehensible), so you pay at least €10-15 more for the same thing. The food is still excellent, but you can now get just as good food elsewhere, but much cheaper. Very disappointing.

I did not like the food at all. On my last visit, the food was not like before. The kebab was light and crunchy, and the meat was not like before, neither in taste nor quantity.

One of the tastiest food in Berlin! You start with a complementary lentil soup and proceed to the amazing meat skewers. They have a tandoor oven which makes the best bread 🍞 prices are also reasonable!

Not bad! but the menu is 90% like Persian foods, and visiting a proper Persian restaurant makes more sense.

Yesterday we had dinner with him, the food was very bad, without injustice, God willing, and the service in addition to that was bad, and the price was full, where are we three people, 80€, and by God, it is not worth 10€ for all of them, even bitter tea is not drunk, hahaha, it became a bad drink, of poor quality.

I've been going to Lasan for two years. The price has increased and is no longer proportional to what they offer. The service has always been poor and incompetent – ​​but it used to be cheap, so it was okay. Now, at that price… nope. I'm never coming back.

When I arrived I first went to the toilet, which was clogged and the sink was also under water, which wasn't the restaurant's fault but still wasn't exactly nice Then we ordered at our table, which wobbled so much that you thought you were on a seesaw, but it was the only one that was still free outside and we fixed it with cardboard... we ended up with 2 kebab skewers, 1 chicken skewer and 1 small piece of rice The soup arrived wasn't to my liking but it wasn't disgusting either so I ate mine and my daughter's because she didn't like it at all and I'm not a fan of throwing food away. I was barely halfway through the soup and the skewers arrived. I was so disappointed, no seasoning, nothing, so I got better seasoned meat or chicken myself from the supermarket and had to wait after rinsing because we weren't offered any drinks nor was there anyone there where you could order because everyone was rushing past you. I couldn't even pull out the homemade bread, which had so little taste - I've had better ones. My husband then ate the skewers but it was more out of hunger and politeness that he didn't like it either. Until then it's all just a matter of taste. Afterwards we drove home for 5 hours. I was constantly throwing up. My husband didn't eat his soup and we didn't get anything beforehand. I'm pretty sure it was because of her. I was feeling great before. We don't even have to talk about the prices otherwise it will come back to me straight away.. in our opinion 0 to recommend I don't know before these good reviews come, we followed that and were bitterly disappointed!

Honestly, the waitress... has no knowledge or understanding and needs to be educated. My regards... I would prefer that the restaurant be Kurdish-Iraqi, with Iraqis in the shop, not Afghans, and tell me this is Germany. If you don't know German, don't order. The restaurant was excellent a few years ago.

We went to this Kurdish place during a office lunch. In Menu they have lots of options to choose from. They start with a big flat bread and a soup as an Appetizer We ordered day special food and , tandur chicken ( seems costly) and lamb maheshi Overall it was good. Cost wise not so worth.

I am extremely satisfied with the food and service. Very professionally decorated. The taste was incredible, it was delicious. Visually with design, it was also served very nicely. Everything was fresh... I would love to come back.

I drove more than 40 minutes to reach the restaurant. The food was not good and the price was exaggerated. There was no salad or appetizers and the biryani was not eaten.

Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen türkisch/arabischen Imbissen in der Ecke nett zum Sitzen, Personal freundlich und sieht alles hygienisch aus. Fladenbrot wird direkt vor Ort frisch gemacht und lecker. Das Fleisch wird am offenen Holzkohlengrill zubereitet. Leider war mein Lamm-Spieß ungewürzt. Ebenso die Auberginen-Paste kam geschmacklos daher und hätte Würze und Pep vertragen. Humus war gut. Fazit: Kann man machen hungrig am Kotti geht aber auch deutlich besser. Zumal einem nichts geschenkt wird.

The prices in the restaurant are to drive away customers. The prices are indescribably exaggerated compared to other restaurants. I tried it once and will never return it again.

I really recommend it, but unfortunately it was too crowded when we were there and the sandwiches were too dry. Otherwise great and very authentic.

After nine years, I'm giving up my regular guest status because not only have the prices increased again at the turn of the year (which has happened at a galloping pace in recent years), but in addition to the price increase, you now also have something off your plate at lunch taken and another halved in quantity. So, you now get less at increased prices. I've been through everything in the last few years: that the bread and falafel balls have become smaller and smaller, that you now have to order the salad separately with the kebab, that a small minced meat skewer now costs twice as much as it did 4 or 5 years ago. But now the price-performance ratio is completely out of control and I just feel ripped off. Continue to have fun maximizing your profits, you will find enough idiots in Berlin who will put up with any rip-off.

Unfortunately, a lot of money is saved on everything and still sold at a high price. Small mini bowls of soup for €7 without meat and half a spoonful of salad with a grill plate. Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. We, three women, just wanted something to drink and were immediately rejected. The reason? We were rudely told that this was not a shisha bar, but a restaurant. Such unnecessary and dismissive comments leave an extremely bad impression. To make matters worse, before we even received this rude rejection, we went to the bathroom. Instead of politely pointing out that we should perhaps ask first, we were addressed in a condescending tone. The treatment was disrespectful, unprofessional and completely inappropriate. The way we were treated was simply insulting. Such behavior - especially in the catering industry, where friendliness and service should actually be the priority - is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience. We wanted to sit outside and it was really EMPTY outside!! not a single customer.

Yesterday we were there for the first time with 6 people. Table was reserved in advance. Unfortunately not taken into account on site. So there were 6 of us sitting at a table for 3 people. An effort was made to get a larger table, but this was not possible because everything was full. The food or the starter soup (cold lentil soup) came very quickly. You couldn't even finish these because the main courses came. If the table was a reasonable size it wouldn't have been a problem, but we had to play Tetris and everyone actually had their food in their hands or on their laps. Since the dishes were not hot but only lukewarm, the pans were easy to hold in your hand. The waitress asked if everything was OK. We said no and all they said was "great, bon appetit" which was cheeky...

Very good food in an interesting place

The restaurant at Kottbusser Tor is a real highlight for lovers of authentic cuisine! I was particularly impressed by the fact that they bake their bread themselves in the Tandur oven - a craft that is unfortunately not often found these days. The fresh, warm bread was simply incredible - crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside, with a unique taste that only a traditional Tandur oven can conjure up. All of the food was not only delicious, but also authentic and freshly prepared. The variety of dishes, combined with the use of high quality ingredients, made every dish a delight. I particularly liked the aromatic spices, which were perfectly balanced and gave each bite a special note. The ambience in the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to linger. The service was friendly and attentive, you immediately felt at home. The combination of freshly baked bread, excellent food and great service makes this restaurant a real insider tip. If you want to enjoy authentic cuisine and the experience of a traditional Tandur oven, you should definitely stop by! I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I tried the Iraqi dish Qozi and it was really delicious! The taste was intense and the spices were perfectly balanced. I was particularly impressed by the tender meat and rice. Nevertheless, I see some potential for improvement, perhaps in the choice of side dishes or the presentation. Still a great meal that definitely deserves 5 stars. I will definitely enjoy it again!

Lasan is one of the Kurdish restaurants that I recommend to my friends.

Very good kebabs. Served with biryani. They some of the most juicy and tender Iraqi kebabs in Berlin. Halal.. really recommended.

Sobrecarga y la comida estaba muy quemada y el sabor era terrible. nunca volver atrás WC era asqueroso suelos era húmedo y maloliente.

Super delicious authentic food. Lots of mixed plates with falafel, meat, halloumi or grilled vegetables. The lentil soup that comes with every dish as a starter is also outstanding! The hummus also tasted very good :)

I guess it depends on what you get, but personally I didn't think the prices were that reasonable compared to the portions. I suspect that your experience here will improve the more people you have in your party. Still, the food was really flavorful, and it's a really interesting area. I would try this place again, but next time I would come with 2-3 friends in order to share some plates.

We had lunch with the lentil soup in advance. The food came very quickly. We had rice with chicken, salad, hummus and a falafel. The chicken was very dry. We also had eggplant salad with hummus and two falafels. There was very little eggplant salad, as can be seen in the photo, and almost not seasoned at all. Overall, we've had much better Turkish food so far.

Very family environment. We went early (7pm) and it wasn't very busy. We returned at 8.30pm and it was very lively. Nice climate. Mostly Middle Eastern. Menu only in German, but with photos. Wide vegetarian choice, which is right up our alley. Chickpea humus and good soups. Basmati rice a little dry. Real carrot juice. I would go back to try other dishes and for the nice atmosphere. Fast transport connection. Excellent prices.

Great value for money, the flatbread you get with it is really tasty. Soup included

Excellent biryani (more like plov), as were the two accompanying soups (esp. the eggplant). Fresh naan and a glass of ayran made in house make for a great meal. At the first glance I thought there is no way I could finish it all. Lo-and-behold - ended up "cleaning the dish". Service takes some effort to flag down but the food is worth it.
