Delicious food and very good service

Excellent biryani (more like plov), as were the two accompanying soups (esp. the eggplant). Fresh naan and a glass of ayran made in house make for a great meal. At the first glance I thought there is no way I could finish it all. Lo-and-behold - ended up "cleaning the dish". Service takes some effort to flag down but the food is worth it.

I recently ate at this restaurant and my experience was mostly positive. The food was delicious, especially the complimentary soup at the beginning was a pleasant start to the meal. The kebab was particularly tasty and I was also impressed by the bread. However, there are also a few opportunities for improvement. Service could be a little more attentive and payment methods are limited as only cash is accepted. Despite these small negative points, I would still recommend the restaurant if you are looking for good food at a fair price.

One of my favorite places in the city. Unfortunately, almost every time I visit your restaurant, the prices have increased - at a rapid pace. At the same time, the portions are becoming smaller and smaller and now there is no longer even salad with the kebab. The price-performance ratio is gradually getting completely out of hand. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star today because the lentil soup has only tasted like salty water for a few weeks now. Even the famous bread is no longer what it used to be. It's either mushy or crumbles into crumbs.

Lasan Restaurant offers a solid selection of dishes served in a pleasant ambience. When I visited, I chose the falafel plate with various pastes. The presentation of the plate was attractive and the portions were sufficient. However, the falafel itself was a bit disappointing. Unfortunately they were a little too dry. The various pastes and tabbule that accompanied the plate were quite good in taste. It's worth mentioning that my blackheads really enjoyed their dishes. The positive feedback from other guests indicates that the Lasan Restaurant is certainly capable of offering tasty dishes. Maybe I was just unlucky with my choice or the preparation that day. The service in the restaurant was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable. Overall, I would rate Lasan Restaurant as average. It offers a good selection of food and certainly has potential, however my personal experience fell short of expectations. I would give the restaurant a second chance to see if it can impress on another day, especially since the blackheads were very happy.

I definitely had better. It was okay but not good enough for an Iraqi Kurdish restaurant. The bread was not well made and the food was okay but the rice can be better cooked. The lentil soup is not bad however it came a bit cold and it should have been served with bread.

Went there with my bunch of girl gang. Had grilled mix platter along with linsen soup, breads and ayran pitcher. Having tried varied flavours before, found this one not as flavourful. The service was great but it surely is not value for money.

Diverse food offerings, charcoal grilled meat, absolutely delicious, lots of vegan pastes. The bread is baked in-house. We really like the warm sesame bread.

My last review about the restaurant was different this time. The food was small for the price, the kebab was small, the shish was small, and they did not put lemon until after I ordered, and the grilled tomatoes were two small pieces. I don’t know why!! An organized restaurant and the food is good except for the falafel

A nice restaurant with good seating options both inside and outside. The food taste Was really good but unfortunately, they don't serve sauce with rice or kebab which is a little disappointing, as otherwise it would have been really tasty with sauce. People are friendly.

Went here spontaneously to eat. Food was very tasty. Unfortunately, some of the waitresses didn't understand us and the wrong thing was brought to the table, but the problem was quickly resolved. We found value for money very good. Unfortunately the outside ambience is a little less so. But it's probably the Berlin Kreuzberg charm. The food here is definitely good and spicy!

I wanted to order takeout last week. Unfortunately, the service was so unfriendly and card payments are only accepted for orders over €10, so I had to leave the restaurant without having accomplished anything. Since the fees for card payments are charged on a percentage basis, this house policy, which is no longer up-to-date, is in no way understandable to me.

Friendly and quick service even when busy, always manages to find you a seat. Generous portions, great variety of tasty dishes. Freshly baked bread is a highlight. Favorites like Kebab Maheshi, Tandur Kebab, and the unique Tashreeb really stand out. Also, the Biryani rice and both Bamya and Tapsi soups are must-tries. In general, it tastes like their Kebab has more fat compared to Turkish or Persian kebab, but seems like that makes it tasty.

I mean, if you fill the order, why do you get nervous if the owner of the restaurant comes to you? This thing is on your part because at God’s door, and if you are an employee in the restaurant, the owner pays for you. Why are you bothered? Why should you ignore it? I speak Kurdish and I understand, but I don’t want to give an excuse. “to fool” The three of us ordered the starter plate... I could have eaten my fill of that alone. For the main course I ordered Tandur Kebap and Chicken. The meat on both skewers was very juicy and not dry at all, which can happen with chicken. Combined with the sauces and bread, this was truly a delight.

I had a delivery. Oh I wish I didn’t order. Quzi sauce was spilled all over, salad was off, falafel and halloumi tasted like a day old. No way I’ll give this place other chance. Shame as I was looking forward to try it so much. It is also fairly expensive.

We once ordered Tandur kebab and Tandur chicken, the quality of meat was very poor, full of nerves and fat and quickly grilled, the outside was burnt and the inside was still raw. Tandur chicken was a bit better because it wasn't grilled properly but Tandur bread was delicious and the lentil soup was also delicious

I really enjoy eating at this place, and it's one of my favorite choices during lunch time. We constantly go there with my coworkers. The linsen soup is great, and comes together with tandur chicken or tandur kebab, plus a delicious crusty bread. They accept cards (but I think only above 10 euros). To pay, just go to the kasse and say your table number. Totally recommend it!

The food was beyond amazing. The spices, the taste and everything! I think its natural because its Kurdish and they are famous for that 🤩I would recommend this place to as many people as possible. I was there this Ramadan 2024 and was treated badly by two waitresses. The food wasn't okay either. The soup was cold and the meat wasn't fresh. I had to go to another restaurant. I don't go to Lasan anymore.

Good food and very large portions

I heard a lot about this restaurant and I wanted to finally try it out. Good thing that you can call them to reserve a table . We came 6 people and we ordered, I got meal number 44 with rise , the food quality is good and food was delicious but if you took the original offer which is just chicken you get only with half onion and half tomato, no fries , no sauces , no side salad . Knowing that you are paying 18 € for 2 skewers , I ordered rise (+3€) but in general I felt my meal was kinda dry without appetizers. So in general I felt it’s a bit over priced for this dish with no appetizers.

The food is delicious and the staff is attentive. Soup comes as an extra and is very tasty, and the pitas were delicious. The meat for the biryani was cooked very well, I can say that I was very full, thank you.

We ordered a combo for 4 people, we were 6 and it was a lot for us. Nevertheless, we enjoyed everything and it’s definitely must visit place for Middle Eastern cuisine.

Great food, everything is fresh, amazing bread baked on the premises and really good value for money. The minced skewer was truly great, wonderful spices but not overbearing. Lamb could have been slightly more tender, but still good, especially considering the prices. We got the appetizer plate with the truly great spreads and fresh bread and the mixed grill for 2. including a big bottle of water and a big ayran for 55. Free tea too!

Perfectly delicious food! Both vegan and meat plates are so good. They will serve the soup before and tea after food, and both are totally complimentary (free of charge) which is a perfect gesture for the hospitality of the place.

War heute zum ersten Mal dort. Habe Falafel mit Pasten bestellt. Fazit: Die Falafel waren richtig gut. Vielleicht sogar die Besten, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Und die Pasten kleine Träumchen für meine Gaumen. Das Ambiente wirkt etwas kitschig aber authentisch. Kottbusser Tor halt. Was nicht in Ordnung war, war der Service: wortkarg, kurz angebunden und gleichgültig-wirkend. Ziemlich unherzlich. Keine Ahnung, ob ich ein zweites Mal dort hingehen werde.

Das kurdische Essen war hervorragend. Die Vielfalt an Aromen und die Frische der Zutaten haben mich beeindruckt. Eine klare Empfehlung!

I recently visited a restaurant where I was served a cup of ayran in a dirty glass. Despite bringing this to their attention, the staff did not apologize, and their attitude was quite rude. They even refused to accept my tip. I am disappointed with the service and cleanliness standards at this establishment. I’m considering reporting to the local health authorities.
