The location is special, the food is expertly crafted and absolutely delicious, but it's the atmosphere created by the wonderful people that makes it a truly memorable experience every time.

It's unassuming but a little gem. There were eight of us, and none of us could decide what to order. The selection was limited, BUT it was perfect for both children and adults. And what can I say? It tasted absolutely delicious. The service is warm and very friendly. The food arrived incredibly fast. We immediately wanted to book another reservation to try the other dishes. This will be our regular spot! And now, after a year, I can confidently say that it has become our favorite place for our two families. It's so lovely and fun with the owner and his wonderful team.

A true insider tip right on the water! This restaurant on the Dahme River is an absolute highlight. The view of the river with its many boats and the proximity to the Seesportclub create an incredibly relaxed atmosphere – perfect for an evening with friends or family. We had burgers and cheese spaetzle, and both were simply delicious! The burgers were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and prepared with fresh ingredients. The cheese spaetzle were wonderfully creamy and just the right balance of hearty and filling. The super friendly service deserves special mention. The waitress, who was obviously on her first day, was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and did her job with a smile – respect! The chef was also an absolute gem: super warm, accommodating, and you could tell he really cares about his guests. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit – not just for the great food, but also for the unique location and the friendly team. We'll definitely be back!

Yes, the food was delicious, but the portions were very small for the price, meaning we weren't full (we're both average eaters, so we have high standards), and so we won't be coming back for more... hence one star less. 😕 Otherwise, everyone is nice, helpful, and it's a pleasant place to spend time.

We were warmly greeted with a "Welcome to the Ruderklause." Despite not having a reservation and the restaurant being almost fully booked, we were able to get a table overlooking the lake. We had a spicy pork schnitzel and a schnitzel with chanterelle mushrooms—all of which were truly delicious. We'd love to come back.

This is a real insider tip. It's a restaurant belonging to the rowing club, with a terrace and a fantastic view of the Dahme River and the Müggelberge hills opposite. Very friendly, fast service, and super delicious food. I had my first venison currywurst here! It was fantastic! And my special request for currywurst with spaetzle was no problem either! I'd be back!

Our first choice when we go out to eat. The staff is incredibly friendly, the seating is simply wonderful, and the food is delicious. There's a small toy chest for the kids so parents can finish their meal in peace. Highly recommended.

We visited the Ruderklause on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The food was very good and the service exceptional. You immediately feel like a regular and the food is excellent. If you can also get a seat on the terrace and enjoy the sunset, it could be one of the most beautiful places in Berlin.

I can't comment on the rooms. Beautiful location, view of the Dahme River. Very good food (today, for example, venison goulash and venison currywurst). Always at least two good beers on tap. Excellent service.

A small but nice restaurant. The menu is short and always changes something. We always found something and it was always delicious. But it is a bit hidden and makes an “older” impression from the outside. But we always enjoy coming here. Definitely a tip for a cozy and delicious meal.

Highly recommended. We've been there twice now with 8 people and both times we were warmly welcomed and very well looked after. The staff is funny and extremely friendly. Time until food arrives, prices are absolutely reasonable and everything has been very tasty so far. Will continue to visit there regularly... keep it up.

We were with you for the first time today. Starting with the genuinely warm welcome, to the friendly conversation and excellent food, rounded off by a committed, motivated passionate restaurateur. Rarely have we been treated so well. A real insider tip! We'll be back.

We were there for our annual club dinner and were thrilled. The dishes prepared for us - deer goulash, duck or goose leg as well as the vegetarian dish with either green or red cabbage and Thuringian dumplings - were very tasty. The service friendly and present. The location on the Dahme must be fantastic in summer. The local water sports club contributes to the maritime flair. Oh, and the prices are moderate because it is a club restaurant but is open to the public.

Konrad, the innkeeper, offers the very best German cuisine 4 days a week. Every ingredient is carefully selected and despite a good price, he only uses the best ingredients for all dishes, some of which he develops himself. His cook also conjures up the best solyanka. The warmth of Konrad and everyone who works here makes every single guest feel like a family. And then the ice cream, also the best selection. The crowning glory are the drinks. Here someone is a host with heart and soul. And every dish lets you experience this. Wines, whiskey and rum are excellently selected. The beers are changing and also very local surprises. A place where you want to become a restaurant tester in order to give 5 stars. Consistent home cooking with an international touch too. Everyone finds something. An absolute must to come here and anyone who comes will definitely want to enjoy this cuisine from Konrad and his great cook every four days a week. If you don't always feel this 100%, I'll pay for the food for a year, that's how confident I am with this rating and I've traveled the world for 15 years and love good food. Who thinks I'm just writing this to make the hermitage look good? Come here and see for yourself!

We found the restaurant by chance because it had such good reviews. Absolute insider tip. On the water, good service, nice restaurant and above all super tasty!!!! We were able to eat here comfortably with a Christmas tree on the 1st of Advent without it being overcrowded. The beer (Jackpot IPA) completely convinced us. We'll definitely be back! 😊

Since the change of operator in 2023, the Ruderklause has been raised to a high level in terms of cuisine and ambience. The food is always delicious and sufficient, the seasonal beers are very tasty, as is the ice cream from the factory. The sun terrace with a view of the Müggelturm is awesome. Conclusion: very comfortable, with good price/performance ratio.

I'll be honest, I've never been to a restaurant that has better service than this one. Plus, the food tasted wonderful. The prices were also great, we paid €38 for two people with a tip.

Almost a month ago I spontaneously had dinner here with my family on my birthday. The boss of the house is very friendly and attentive and gave us a round of ice cream (very tasty!) and drinks on the house to mark my special day. All dishes were tasty at a fair price. We felt very comfortable and my day ended with a nice memory. Thank you very much 👍😊

For what feels like 100 years (previously Maximilian) I have always enjoyed a grilled sausage with a special sauce, always delicious! Ambience "only" 3 stars, but I don't expect more from a snack bar. Also the roll, the mustard or the fries - all delicious

This small restaurant is a real insider tip. You sit on the veranda or on the terrace overlooking the water. The menu is small and fine, with fair prices, there is Czech beer and the service is very attentive.

We spontaneously went to eat here after a bike ride. It's worth making a reservation here if you want to eat outside. The service was really top! Very careful and extremely friendly. We had the burger and schnitzel - that alone will definitely make us come back. The view of the water completes it!!! For 3 people - food, ice cream and drinks paid 50 EUR. Flawless.

We "only" had dinner there so I can't say anything about the rooms. But the food was delicious. I claim that even the mayo is made there. We had schnitzel with asparagus and potatoes. It was really tasty and everything was cooked to perfection. Oh, as a starter there was lentil and coconut soup with chorizo, which was great. And the service knew what they were doing and was very nice. Different than others in Berlin. A delicious giant chicken nugget with wedges was made for our child. I had to taste it and was really happy because it was something decent. Not like the American obesity service providers. We promise we'll be back.

I was here for a birthday. When I arrived with some heavy things, I initially panicked. There was a flight of stairs going up. The all-clear is then given by the owner. He carried almost everything up. That was my salvation. The drinks were as they should be: cold and quick👍. Then in the evening there is a buffet. That was really great. Whether grilled or salads, delicious asparagus and later the sweet things. It was great. I was surprised at the bar, I wasn't expecting four different gins. The sunset and a rainbow for dessert with the beautiful view over the water from the terrace, perfect

Down-to-earth and super warm little location where you can get a good beer and something delicious to eat for little money. There are also vegetarian dishes. You sit outside on the terrace with a great view of the lake. The staff is humorous, quick and friendly. You really feel welcome.

Actually, I would like to say that it was really bad so that I can always get a table. But it was extremely cool. The food is great and the staff are brilliant. Still prefer to go somewhere else. I want to go there more often now!

A great place, it feels like a holiday, even as a "local", the cuisine is delicious, it is cooked freshly and with sophistication, the ice cream from the Eis/Engelmanufaktur is fantastic. There is a warm, familiar atmosphere and it is casual and therefore child-friendly. Bring a little time, but you will be rewarded for it.
