Schust - Restaurant in Berlin

Keine Beschwerde. Es war sehr gut! Wir war ca 20 zufriedene Kunden!

Ich kann nur sagen, dass ihr Schnitzel mit zu den besten Gerichten gehörte, die ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe, und es schmeckte sogar mitten in einer Hitzewelle bei 40 °C Außentemperatur hervorragend. Die Bedienung, die aussah wie die Besitzerin, war ebenfalls sehr nett. Die Preise waren angemessen. Insgesamt verdiente 5 Sterne, wobei ich der Lage 4 Sterne gebe, da es dort offensichtlich sehr heiß und ungemütlich war. Aber ich denke, man kann dem Restaurant nicht wirklich die Schuld geben, wenn die Außentemperatur etwa 15 °C über dem Normalwert liegt. An einem normalen Tag wäre es sicher angenehm gewesen.

Die Eisgurkensuppe war das beste Essen, das man während dieser Hitzewelle bekommen konnte, und sie war wirklich sehr, sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert! Ein tolles Restaurant ...

Was für ein Glücksgriff! Ein wahres Juwel von einem Restaurant. Freundlicher Service und hervorragendes Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass es mitten im angesagtesten Viertel Berlins liegt. Wir waren zwei Abende hintereinander dort. Von deutschen Freunden als absolut authentische regionale deutsche Küche empfohlen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Es war überhaupt nicht lecker. Die Rinderzunge war okay, aber die anderen Gerichte waren viel zu salzig. Außerdem scheint es nur eine Person für Rezeption und Küche zu geben, sodass man leicht übersehen wird.

Die Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat waren das Beste, was ich je in Deutschland gegessen habe. Absolut makelloses Essen und Ambiente.

Bitte reservieren Sie gerade an Feiertagen oder am Wochenende einen Tisch.Es ist ein kleines ,niedliches und uriges Lokal.Die Küche ist typisch erzgebirgig.Wir hatten den Klassiker,Rouladen mit Rotkraut und Klöße gegessen. Alles selbstgemacht.Wir haben in die Küche schauen können und sahen wie die Klöße gerollt wurden. Ganz lecker hats geschmeckt.Wir kommen wieder.

Ich hatte die Semmelknödel mit Pilzrahmsoße. Das Essen war wirklich lecker, allerdings auch wirklich WENIG. Ein Beilagensalat fehlte uns, gerade bei diesem stolzen Preis von knapp 19€. Meine Begleiter hatten das Hirschgulasch für knapp 26€, für den Preis wiederum echt gut und lecker. Hier konnte man uns aber nicht sagen, wo das Fleisch herkommt. Auch wenn ich als Bedienung neu bin - bei diesem echt überschaubarem Angebot muss ich das drauf haben. Die Pfannkuchen und Quarkkeulchen waren lecker, aber für unser Empfinden von der Konsistenz eher teigig fest. Toll waren die Wildheidelbeeren darin und der Buttergeschmack! Für zwei Minztees, zwei Bier, vier Hauptgerichte, zwei mal Nachtisch 134€. Satt waren wir nicht, auch wenn es uns geschmeckt hat.

Tolle Atmosphäre. Angenehme Musik, aber nicht zu laut, super zum Unterhalten. Lokale Biere. Netter Schnack mit dem Besitzer. Klare Empfehlung

Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich, sogar zu uns Ausländern, die mit der Sprache etwas Schwierigkeiten hatten 🤣 Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Die Atmosphäre war toll; friedlich und angenehm.

Alles ganz super. Wir haben dieses kleine Restauranz spontan endeckt und mussten es unbedingt ausprobieren. Das Essen war autentisch wie daheeme. Alles war perfekt und sehr freudlich. Uneingeschränkt empfelenswert.

Super leckeres Essen, sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Man hat sich einfach wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen bald wieder.

The food was very good, but unfortunately the dining room was so cold (early December) that we cannot recommend this restaurant in winter. What a shame!

Cozy restaurant with good German food. I was allowed to change the potato choice - and the waiter came down with gravy so it wouldn't be too dry. Very delicious and cozy. We both got a starter and a main course.

I had the roulade, and it was delicious. However, I found the portion a bit small for the price. It seemed a bit stingy, and I think many guests would appreciate a second one.

Finally, after decades, I ate stuffed peppers again – absolutely delicious! A very cozy atmosphere, in the truest sense of an owner-operated shop – chef, waitress, all in one, yet very relaxed. Highly recommended!

Cozy, small restaurant with very attentive service.

The Eberswalder is quite loud, especially from the police and ambulances, but that's not the restaurant's fault. I was here for the first time at the invitation of a friend. I had a delicious roulade with dumplings and red cabbage. The food reminded me strongly of my grandmother's cooking. I highly recommend it 👍

The Schust is a gem in the Erzgebirge region. Anyone who appreciates great German, and especially Erzgebirge, food should definitely take a culinary journey to Schust. The best roulades and dumplings in town, and Buttermilchgetzen (a type of buttermilk potato pancake) are mouthwatering. Björn, the proprietor, enchants both in the kitchen and with his warm manner, ensures that guests feel welcome and have a truly wonderful time. Simply wonderful.

I spontaneously visited the restaurant yesterday. The pork liver was very tender. The red wine sauce was excellent, and the service, as always, was competent and very hospitable. It's a shame there are only 5 stars.

Everything was right here! We even got extra sauce upon request (but we are absolute sauce children). The taste was like a dream! The service was absolutely friendly and quick. The latter was not what we expected at all 😉 Some people complain about the prices. If you want deer goulash or roulade for €12.50, you will definitely get it somewhere in Berlin. Whether you still want to eat it, however, is very questionable. Whatever: It suited us and we say: Thank you! ☺️

Definitely too expensive, so a visit to this establishment is unfortunately unnecessary. Would you like an example? A small beef roulade, 2 dumplings, some sauce and a blob of red cabbage are sold for 23.90 euros. 4 years ago the fun cost a friendly 14.50 euros. That's about a 65% price increase during this time.

Wonderful here, rustic and modern at the same time and very tasty!

It seems we had a bad day visiting. Friends of mine always raved about this place. However, when we were there, there weren't even half of the dishes left, only a single vegetarian option and the service was so bad-tempered, something I've rarely experienced. However, our food was good and I can understand why Erzgebirge cuisine appeals to you. The ambience was nicely decorated, but a bit cramped for my taste. I think I will give this restaurant another chance, but I still have to say that my first impression really disappointed me. Too bad!

The "Schust" is a rather small restaurant, and we recommend that everyone make a reservation in advance in order to enjoy this culinary highlight. We were immediately impressed by the coziness of the ambience: a charming interior that was designed with great attention to detail and creates a warm, homely atmosphere. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and at the same time very efficient. We were immediately warmly welcomed and the service was consistently quick and professional, which made our evening very enjoyable. Despite the hustle and bustle of the small restaurant, we never felt like we had to wait too long for anything. Our culinary journey began with a venison goulash served with napkin dumplings and Brussels sprouts. The meat was tender, the sauce perfectly balanced and the Brussels sprouts were a wonderful addition. The smoked pork roast with Griene Kließ and homemade sauerkraut was also an absolute delight - hearty, hearty and typically German, just as we had hoped. The goose leg with kale and Griene Kließ rounded off our feast. The kale was excellently prepared, the leg was extremely tender and tasted simply fantastic. We also enjoyed an excellent red wine from Metzger, which harmonized perfectly with the hearty dishes. All in all, we had a wonderful evening, full of delicious flavors that we will remember for a long time. The "Schust" is an insider tip for everyone who wants to experience German cuisine in the best quality. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to try more dishes!

We definitely recommend this restaurant. Very tasty food, good portions and friendly staff. If we had spinach dumplings and beef roulades, we would have the same thing again. This was our first time here but we look forward to returning soon.

Beautiful cute little restaurant with fantastic food and vibes. Staff was very kind and professional. Love their sour mushroom soup as a starter. Cuz of it, I have been craving it in the rest of trip. Now really have to find a similar recipe. Hubby ordered the deer and had a the rabbit leg. Roasted potato was also gorgeous. We would like to visit again in the future.

Very tasty authentic food. Good price/performance ratio. Nine of us celebrated a birthday and all the different dishes not only looked delicious but were also very tasty. Then we shared 2 different desserts because there wasn't much room in our stomachs and they were also highly recommended! The service was quick, attentive and friendly. So almost nothing to criticize! When all the tables in the small restaurant are occupied, it can get pretty loud. Which is also a sign of a pleasant atmosphere.

The food was OK. Unfortunately the quark wedges were very dark and an attempt was made to disguise them with powdered sugar and the burnt side down. The service, however, was top. Prices, on the other hand, are impressive.

Awesome food, tasty german cuisine

Fantastic German food inspired by Czech cuisine. Classic hoppy lager and wonderful wheat beer. The food is strong, beautiful and full of flavour. Goulash, Viennese-inspired schnitzel and some wonderful meat.

Quaint little restaurant with great service and delicious venison goulash, roulades and buttermilk pasta. We will definitely come back...

Overall 5/5 stars. I've eaten here several times and the service is always very caring and tries -successfully- to ensure a nice evening. The price-performance ratio is exactly right. Ingredients are fresh and the various dishes have always been perfectly cooked/baked/prepared.

Authentic taste of the Erzgebirge in the middle of Berlin The only restaurant in Berlin that offers Erzgebirge cuisine completely impressed me. The food, the service and the ambience were simply top. The food was a real treat. Each dish was carefully prepared and perfectly showcased the unmistakable taste of the Ore Mountains. I particularly enjoyed the traditional dumplings. The service was extremely attentive and friendly. The staff was very knowledgeable and always had good recommendations. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and inviting. Overall, my visit here was a real highlight. If you want to get to know Erzgebirge cuisine, you've come to the right place. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

What a great place. Few tables, would make a reservation. Freshly prepared food, but did not take too long. We had rabbit and wild mushroom with dumplings. Great service and excellent food. Kitchen viewable, which is always a plus. Good suggestions by the staff. if you are looking for typical German food this is a place for you.

Delicious food, nice decor, cozy restaurant. However, not suitable for groups with children. When parts of our group came with 1 stroller, the host only commented "The stroller has to go," even though 2 children were announced when making the reservation, without helping in any way to find a solution to the problem (especially since you... could have created space). Generally rather cool and reserved towards the guests. Otherwise it's okay and worth recommending

We love the restaurant. It's cozy and the food is delicious, hearty and makes your stomach happy. On top of that, it's really good value for money. We celebrated our child's baptism there with family and friends and everything was beautifully prepared, very good service and reliable in the arrangement. Special requests such as vegan and gluten-free were taken into account. Only recommended!

Sehr kleines Restaurant mit einer guten Küche, aber mit dem Erzgebirge hat dieses überhaupt nichts zu tun. Ih hät su gern mol mi mit anerm ahf erzgebirgsch unnerhaalten. Zum Beispiel über den Hutzenomnd, oder über die Bergmannln & Rachermannln. Oder wo die Haasen Hoosen und die Hosen eben Huusen haaßen. Und die klassische erzgebirgische Zittermusik oder den typischen erzgebirgischen Gesang ! Und natürlich den klassischen Weihrauchduft! Na ja, man kann eben nicht alles haben. Trotzdem 👍

Schöne kleines und gemütliches Restaurant. Die Einrichtung ist stilvoll und mit vielen Details zum Erzgebirge - top. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich gleich beim Reinkommen wohl. Heute mal spontan geschaut, ob es Platz gibt. Es waren noch Plätze frei, wir hatten Glück! Die bestellten Gerichte kamen nach ca. 25 Minuten und entsprachen unserer Vorstellung von guter erzgebirgischer Hausmannskost. Das essen wir immer wieder gern. Leider war es heute Mittag im Restaurant sehr kalt, vielleicht funktionierte die Heizung nicht richtig. Der Gastraum war aber so schön weihnachtlich geschmückt, dass wir das Essen genießen konnten. Empfehlung zum Hingehen!

Gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant. Man fühlt sich sofort wie bei Freunden zu Hause. Das Licht ist gedämpft niedlich, im Hintergrund spielt entspannte Musik und an der Tür wird man herzlich empfangen. Die Speisen sind super lecker und eine Reise wert. Das Dessert ist ebenfalls top. Vorallem der Pfannkuchen mit Blaubeeren. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Restaurant ist klein, aber gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet. Im Hintergrund spielt gemütlich, entspannte Musik. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause und wird sofort freundlich an der Tür begrüßt. Die Speisen sind super lecker.

Wenn schon Veggie-Cheat-Day (oder Deutsch Schummel-Tag für Vegetarier) dann muss es sich lohnen: Und Hirsch-Gulasch im Schust lohnt sich sehr. Meine Güte: SO GUTES ESSEN. Das Schust war rappelvoll, aber an der Bar war noch Platz. Gemütlich genug, um ein paar Stunden zu essen, zu quatschen und dabei gemütlich ein Bierchen oder was anderes zu trinken. Ein kleines Restaurant mit großem Ambiente. Eine kleine aber feine Karte für den großen Genuss.
