I found it a bit cold in the restaurant. But that's probably normal since there were only a few guests. The service was very friendly and the food tasted good.

Yesterday we had an excellent sushi menu with an appetizer. As customers using the Schlemmerblock discount booklet, we also received the special menu. I think the menu is a great solution, because how else can you implement the 2-for-1 concept with sushi? We received friendly service and were very satisfied.

I often go back because I feel like I'm in Italy! Friendly staff, delicious food, and excellent value!!! I even celebrated my friend's birthday, and Luciano surprised us by singing the happy birthday song into the microphone in both Italian and German, making my friend's day unforgettable! I always love going back 🥰🇮🇹🍕🍝

The food used to be delicious and the price/performance ratio was right... now only recommended to a limited extent. But the owner is very empathetic and the service is friendly. September 2025: Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated considerably. Portions have become much smaller. For example, there used to be two bags of squid with gyros on the plate, now there are only three thin rings???? For almost €22.00. The price is too high, since the plate was actually just gyros. Conclusion: The menu has shrunk too much. Everyone is disappointed...

1. Unfortunately, I missed the moment when foie gras started to cost as much as black caviar. At the same time, the portion was halved. 2. It was difficult to book a table, although we were sitting in a half-empty establishment. 3. I can’t say that it was incredibly tasty, the prices were above average. The bill for dinner for two with a bottle of wine was €200+. 4. The atmosphere is not French, the service is uninterested in the client. 5. And the “icing on the cake” was food poisoning.

The food was good, everyone was friendly, I'd gladly come again.

We would especially like to commend the service: extremely attentive, friendly, and professional. You feel welcome from the very first moment. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back. I was here for lunch and chose the spaghetti from the daily special. In my opinion, the food was really very good and delicious. A little tip for other guests: In my experience, it's worth avoiding the peak lunchtime rush, as the restaurant can get quite crowded and busy. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, you might want to come a little earlier or later. Overall, though, a visit is definitely worthwhile!

We arrived in Padelle yesterday evening at 9:03 pm and politely asked if we could still get something to eat. The waiter went into the kitchen to check, and two seconds later he came back to us and said the kitchen was already closed. It's a shame, since the website says they're open until 9:30 pm. Furthermore, the waiter seemed completely shocked when we walked in, contradicting the previous information. We still managed to get something at another Italian restaurant at 9:15 pm. This is not what one expects from a restaurant.

I don't eat out as often as I used to. But when I do, Zorbas in Amberg is always a top choice. The restaurant isn't trendy, but it's inviting and makes you feel welcome. Classic Greek cuisine might not be that complex or extravagant, but here you can taste the subtle nuances of high quality. Everything is fresh, the meat is tender and well-seasoned, and the roasted dishes arrive piping hot and juicy. And the price is right, too. What more could you want?
