We spent five days on holiday in Füssen and enjoyed delicious food every evening at Riwa. Whether it was Alsatian tarte flambée, herb-covered oyster mushrooms, homemade burgers, or baked cabbage, everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The breakfast buffet was also plentiful and delicious. A big compliment to the service staff, who were friendly and always helpful in explaining the dishes.

We had a fantastic visit to this restaurant. The beautiful ambiance immediately strikes you upon entering – stylish, harmonious, and decorated with great attention to detail. For us, it was a solid 10/10! I would particularly like to highlight the service: The waiters were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm, without being intrusive. We felt completely welcome and well looked after. The food was not only delicious, but also prepared to a high standard and beautifully presented. You can tell that attention is paid to quality and freshness – every dish tasted perfect. An all-round successful evening – we will definitely be back and can highly recommend the restaurant!

Walked up and politely asked for a sofa table. Little skinnier bald man was so rude and said okay yeah? Well there’s sofas everywhere being so rude we almost didn’t stay for dinner. We sat and ate a good meal with a fantastic female waitress.The same rude man came around again and asked others we were around if they needed anything and proceeded to be ridiculously rude to us. Overall as someone who works in tourism and has been in the industry over 19 years I would never go back to this restaurant. The fact they still have this man here with a job is not good. Highly suggest spending your money elsewhere as we spent over €140 and had a worker completely treat us like garbage who wasn’t even our server sucked. Ruined our whole experience. Will never come back. Hope you don’t event try it.

Excellent. Excellent food, delicious drinks, excellent service.

The bar looks nice and was specially recommended to us by our hotel. We wanted a cocktail, but the waiter took the menus and place settings from the table. All we could do was wait and watch as several guests (who arrived after us) were served. Then we left!

First things first: exceptionally friendly staff. Thank you so much for your hospitality! The food was very good, and the ambiance is truly beautiful and modern. The kitchen's extended opening hours saved us on Sunday, as they served food until 10 p.m.—all the restaurants closed earlier. Very dog-friendly!

We ate smash burgers and it was one of the best homemade burgers I’ve ever eaten. The waiters were extremely polite and friendly. It was a nice experience 🙂

The stylish, modern location is located in the beautiful Hotel Sonne in Füssen. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The desserts are unbeatably delicious! 😋 The ambiance and atmosphere were fantastic. We'd love to come back. We'll stay here next time.

Our first visit to Riwa, and what can I say?! The food was incredibly delicious, especially the Kaiserschmarrn. The service from our waiter, Christoph, was simply outstanding. Many in the restaurant industry could take a leaf out of his book. The ambiance was perfect. We'll definitely be back at Riwa on our next visit to Füssen.

A great restaurant! We've been there several times. It's also highly recommended for children. The kids' menu is great value for money! They even provide the kids with some crayons to color in the designs on the menu.

I ordered French fries, pork ribs, flatbread, and a mango drink. This place is seriously delicious~~ The pork ribs were huge, and the French fries were so good they could be sold as a separate menu!! The flatbread was topped with seasoned dried tomatoes, and I was impressed by how delicious every single topping was. The mango drink also exceeded my expectations. Thanks to them, I was able to add to the joy of eating while traveling :)

This bar and restaurant is unlike anything else in the immediate area. With its modern look, the location is a true contrast to the rest of the city. Highly recommended! The staff practically dances around the tables with their dedication. The a la carte food is truly excellent. The ingredients are harmonious and diverse. If you like monotonous, "old" dishes, you should probably avoid this place. P.S.: If you're coming from the pedestrian zone, don't be put off by the long entrance. Take in the decor and keep walking until you reach the so-called living room.

Not to be missed, it's like being transported back in time.

We sat for 10 minutes, and no one came to us. We had to get up and order our own wine. After we finished our wine, no one asked us if we wanted anything else. So I got up again and ordered a second round—and even tipped. Afterward, we were told they were closing, even though dozens of people were still sitting outside. We just wanted to go outside with our wine, but we were told we weren't allowed to take the glasses—while there were plenty of other glasses outside. The staff used very rude and harsh language. Absolutely not recommended—I will never go there again. Very disrespectful people work there.

It was truly amazing. We had two sensational burgers with sweet potato fries, burrata, and a cookie with ice cream in a pan. Everything was phenomenal. The burger, the meat, the quality, the portion, and the price. Everything was perfect. The service, too, was top-notch, simply top-notch. Thank you for the lovely evening.

A fantastic ambiance, a mix of hotel lounge, café, and restaurant. The walls are painted in a pleasant color, with matching tiles to break things up. Friendly and quick service. Excellent food quality.

During a short visit to Füssen, we stopped here for lunch. We received very friendly service and shared the incredibly delicious Kaiserschmarrn, without a doubt the best I've ever had. Absolutely recommended!

We were here for a salsa party, and I have to say, the interior is fantastic—modern, stylish, and appealing. The atmosphere was good, as was the service, but the dance floor was very small. Since there's so much seating, the tables on the dance floor could be removed. That would be a huge plus.

Service not entirely satisfactory, audience questionable

I was here for lunch sometime in mid-July. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are very nice. Even though there are a lot of tourists in Füssen at this time of year, it was not a problem to find a seat. This restaurant is also a very good alternative for those who want more peace and quiet because it is not located on the main tourist streets.

We ordered burgers with salad, very tasty. They don't give gloves, so it's a bit uncomfortable to eat. The service is so-so, we waited a long time to take our order, although there were few people. Cozy atmosphere.

We found the food here to be average at best. My steak also lacked the wild garlic butter mentioned on the menu. We found the service poor. From the very beginning, the waiter had a certain attitude. Even an ordered side salad was forgotten. Furthermore, the staff here seems to have a sense of entitlement, believing they deserve a tip, despite the poor service.

We felt very unwelcome and overlooked. The food was pretty subpar - we had a Codfilet, Flammkuchen and an Entrecote. The only reason we finished the food was because we had a really long day going to the Neuschwanstein Castle and were starving by the time we got to dinner. The server forgot a salad that we ordered, but we didn't remind him after tasting the other things. I've rarely had an Entrecote that was as bad, my partner left half of it untouched - he loves steak. The meat was just tough and not properly seasoned. The fish was just a very small portion, didn't expect it to be so small given the price was 26€. No one came to check up on us after serving us the food and at the end when we asked for the bill, they automatically added a 10 euro tip which we didn't want to pay since we didn't exactly get great service. To that the server sighed loudly and was visibly frustrated and asked, "So no tip?" We said, "No". Him:(sighs louder and looks at us judgingly) "But everything was okay??" Honestly at that point I wanted to say no, it isn't but we just nodded and paid. After paying the server just curtly said, "okay, bye". That behavior was-10/100. Don't recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious!!! 10 out of 10! Compliments to the kitchen! The food arrived very quickly, even though the restaurant was packed. The staff is very friendly and absolutely professional (it was obvious that the waiters and waitresses are trained and not unskilled laborers). The restaurant definitely has style, is rightly very busy, and is highly recommended!

The food is very tasty and the atmosphere cozy

The interior ambience is very nice. We then decided on something from the regular menu. Unfortunately, the food was really only average and the descriptions of the dishes were not accurate. The burrata dish had fried mushrooms instead of peppers and olive crumble. Unfortunately, we were not told this beforehand and there was no response when we asked about it. The burger tasted like a standard burger that you could probably make better on your own grill at home. If you don't get what you order, you would at least be happy if the restaurant would be a bit more accommodating on the price. But unfortunately, that didn't happen.

This restaurant simply invites you to return. The ambiance is pleasantly comfortable and not intrusive. The service is friendly. However, the waitress could have taken my empty glass and bottle from the table on one or two occasions. The food was simply unbelievably delicious. The photos show: Allgäu Kässpatzen (cheese spaetzle), Allgäu country chicken, and Riwa's Kaiserschmarrn (shrimp). We went back two days later and had venison goulash, roast beef, a sun burger, pumpkin soup, Kaiserschmarrn (shrimp pancakes), and Alsatian tarte flambée. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The service was also excellent (even better).

Loved this restaurant so much that we ate here two nights in a row for dinner! Service is excellent (shoutout to Chris!). The smash burger is delicious and we loved their fries. Lemon salad dressing made the fresh side salad even better. Mandarin cheesecake was too good to stop eating even though I was incredibly full. My daughter loved her flatbread even though she can be super picky. Delicious wines and cocktails, too! Also, the morning buffet breakfast is second to none. We loved it!! So many great offerings for any palate. Totally worth the price.

we had a nice lunch, vegetarian and vegan options available

This was my third time dining at RIWA, but unfortunately, it’s the first time I’ve felt compelled to leave a review, and not for good reasons. Although I understand German quite well, I’m not as confident speaking it. Our server, who was very capable in English, treated us noticeably differently compared to the guests around us. While others received warm, attentive service, we often felt overlooked and treated as an afterthought. What made the experience even more disheartening was the shift in her attitude when we chose not to leave a tip, after we paid, her only parting words were a curt ‘bye.’ A disappointing experience at a place I once enjoyed.

Incredibly delicious food, very friendly service

We had a truly lovely evening in this super cozy restaurant. The ambiance was incredibly pleasant – stylish yet relaxed – and the service was truly friendly and attentive. We had spare ribs and a steak with potatoes and asparagus for dinner. And what can I say: simply delicious! The meat was super tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The side dishes also complemented it perfectly. All in all: great food, friendly service, lovely ambiance – we'll definitely be back!

The stylish and sophisticated design immediately catches your eye upon entering. Every detail is lovingly crafted – you immediately feel like you're on vacation. The tarte flambée is very reminiscent of the one from Alsace: wafer-thin, crispy dough and plenty of fresh ingredients on top – simply delicious. The Kaiserschmarrn was one of the best I've ever eaten – with almonds and wonderfully caramelized pieces of dough. A real highlight! The portions are very generous, and the service is attentive, friendly, and professional. A place you'll gladly return to!

We went out to eat twice during our stay at the hotel. What can we say? Great terrace, great food (super tasty burgers with amazing fries and the best sweet potato fries ever). The entire staff is very friendly and empathetic!

Excellent food and service! I enjoyed two exceptional dinners here while on vacation. I really appreciated the delicious menu items that accommodated my special dietary needs (gluten and lactose). Chris was our server tonight and was awesome! He had great recommendations for us and went above and beyond to make our dinner a wonderful experience.

Kwamen tijdens spitsuur maar wilden alleen maar wat drinken na lange rit met veel regen. Host super vriendelijk en we konden in de lounge bank plaatsnemen. Kennelijk de enige plek in Füssen waar dat mogelijk is. Zagen veel eten voorbij komen dat er heerlijk uitzag (vooral de hamburgers en ze rolen ook zo lekker) maar we hadden al reservering elders …

We definitely recommend this restaurant! It took us 1.5 hours to get there, but we will definitely eat there again. We sat outside, and the only downside was that many people around us were smoking while we ate.

Delicious and friendly!!! I visited Riwa twice during my vacation in Füssen. Unfortunately, the third time something didn't work out with the reservation so we had to leave again because there was no table left, despite having made a reservation by telephone. That was a shame but they tried very hard and apologized several times! I found all the waitresses to be extremely friendly and quick and the food and drinks were also delicious! What I like best is the ambience! The Riwa is really very appealing and I recommend everyone to go there once!!!

We had lunch here today - baked cabbage (vegan) and Kaiserschmarren were super tasty - large portions, prices ok. O. - very good and courteous staff. Also a nice atmosphere in the middle of the city. Really highly recommended. Would love to come back. Of course there could be one or two more vegan dishes on the menu, but the cabbage was really good and the waiter's recommendation didn't disappoint 😍

Far too expensive cocktails in a self-service bar. Unfortunately, music is often paused. Too few staff for a full bar. Long waiting time and only moderately good cocktails. Nothing special, just forced clearance. That's why I only had one cocktail. Not a good feeling to spend a nice evening.

We started with Iberico croquettes as a starter – super tasty! Then we enjoyed delicious Flammkuchen and a creamy Käsespätzle as main courses. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy and the very friendly host made the experience complete. Highly recommended for those who love good food and a warm welcome! ✨🍷🍽️

We were there for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the selection was very varied. Class. A lot of things are then prepared fresh. A small point deduction at the deli counter for sausage and cheese that has already been sliced. Some things here were already dried out, still good but no longer very appetizing to look at. All in all, a delicious, varied breakfast.

When I wanted to have something to eat here with my colleague, I first thought that it was just a typical bar, but after spending some time here I felt like I was at home with the great service and great food. I am very grateful to Elly and Denis for such a lovely evening and I will 100% visit the atmosphere again

Upscale restaurant, extravagant ambience and extremely friendly waiters, especially Denis and Elly.

We were there for dinner. Overall, the food was just average and partly only lukewarm. That's why I wouldn't go there again. Nothing special. Ambience is nice, service was nice. In my opinion, it is only recommended to a limited extent for a relaxed dinner, as it is large and correspondingly loud.

The staff is very friendly in the morning for breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening. The portions are large and of top quality for the price. In addition, the service and kitchen are very organized. Drinks and food come quickly and the food always comes to the table hot.

Special place. Price performance is good. It's not just going out to eat, it's an invitation to chill out and stay. There is also a huge selection and also very good cocktails.

Entrecote besteld en gevraagd of we de mais mochten omruilen voor salade, dat kon. Frietjes zaten erbij zei de dame, dus deze hoefde mijn man niet te bestellen, alleen hij wilde frietjes. De borden kwamen en er zat inderdaad friet bij allebei de pannetjes, de mais was weggelaten. Salade is alleen groene blaadjes en dressing verder niets en dat blijkt achteraf voor €6,50 per schaaltje groene blaadjes. Op de rekening stond salade 2X €6,50 en friet 2X €2,50, nou ja!! Komt erop neer dat een entrecote, wat geen entrecote was, €37 euro kost, absurd! En vals geïnformeerd door de bediening. Ook nog Gammel stoeltje, waar je op zit. Hotel is prima, maar restaurant is zeer overgewaardeerd als ik de reviews lees.

Was there for the first and last time on Friday. The ambience and the music were really good – exactly what you want for a successful evening. The drinks were of great quality, but the selection was rather limited. What was also a shame: The first drink was decorated really nicely - the following drinks, on the other hand, seemed carelessly thrown together. Unfortunately, the biggest negative point was the service. You felt completely ignored most of the time. It seemed chaotic and disorganized, even though the bar wasn't crowded. I know that you can provide good service even with a small number of staff. Especially because I work in the catering industry myself, I know: There is a better way. What really annoyed us was that the website advertised a Ladies Night – the first drink was free. We specifically asked the waitress whether this only applies to certain drinks, and she said clearly: “No, it doesn’t matter which one.” But when it came time to pay, they suddenly said it wouldn't apply at all or would only apply to a non-alcoholic drink. Sorry, but that is simply misleading and disappointing. If you're going to advertise, you should stand by it - otherwise, as a guest, you'll just feel like you've been taken for a ride.

The ambient was super nice and the food really good! Definitely recommend it!

For now, the food was good. Unfortunately the service was catastrophic. The waiter was quite pushy and tried to force all sorts of additional sales. We increasingly noticed how other guests tried to draw attention to themselves, but were completely ignored. When we calculated the bill at the end, we noticed that the bill was higher than it should have been. I would like to point out again that the rating applies to the service and that the food was perfectly fine. Nevertheless, I appeal to every guest to check the bill carefully again.

Here for the first time today, the atmosphere and music are great. The service is really bad. Staff is not attentive at all and you feel like you have failed in your job. I know what I'm talking about, I've been working in service for 35 years.

Super spitze. Der Pulpo ist mega lecker. Die kleine und feine Weinauswahl ist fair bepreist. Für Füssen eher günstig. Wir haben 2 Flaschen Sauvignon getrunken.
