This was a cozy little restaurant with great food. The waitress could speak very little English but she was so happy to try to communicate and make recommendations. Everything was just lovely!

We stopped in for dinner along our 6-day road trip through Bavaria. I had an beautiful med-Rare roast beef smothered in a tangy rich sauce topped with crispy fried onions accompanied by an amazing spätzle which was like a creamy mac & cheese with just the right amount of al dente chew. It was perfectly paired with the slightly sweet malty dark Paulaner. My wife had an onion & mustard encrusted beef tenderloin served with a tasty and refreshing salad. Overall, atmosphere, food, and service were great; one of the best meals we had along our trip!

The nostalgic restaurant Madame Plush can be described in one word: perfect. The ambience is unique but beautiful. In the long run you really get lost in it. The service was the friendliest I've ever experienced. The food is relatively expensive, but the quality speaks for itself. I had the duck breast with potato gratin and vegetables. The duck breast could have been used as an example of perfect cooking in a cookbook, the vegetables tasted like they were fresh and straight from the garden and the potato gratin was bursting with flavor. Definitely a contender for the best meal I've ever eaten. The dishes my family ate were equally well received. The food is generally presented in a very aesthetically pleasing manner. There are also very good alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Anyone who appreciates good food is in good hands here.

Had lunch yesterday, the menu was clear and of very good quality. There is more choice for dinner. Interior is like a small museum, with dim lighting, very cozy. Service was friendly and tried hard, the only unpleasant thing was that the neighboring table that came after us was served first. Otherwise he was friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to come back on our next day trip, and then for dinner. It's also great that there are restaurateurs who use Demeter and organic products and make homemade spaetzle. The last time I ate Kaiserschmarren so well was in Vienna.👍

What an amazing restaurant! The owner, Nickolay, is an incredibly hardworking and astute young man. He truly cares about his business and will take the time of day to talk to his customers. Very impressive service, food and atmosphere. The duck l’orange is a must, and the chocolate soufflé is perfection. Thank you again! FYI, there is a minimum card payment of €50, otherwise you must pay in cash.

A simply wonderful place! It's like traveling to another time! The decoration is very beautiful and cozy and the place also offers delicious food! A great big surprise and definitely worth every penny you pay! Plus the attention was wonderful!

We are two middle age couples who dined at Madame Plusch on the 19th of August. We found the restaurant by researching Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The restaurant is super clean, the food was very good but food isn’t everything. What made our evening really special was our waitress, the really lovely Milena. She was joyous and beautiful and really made our evening. Unfortunately we have to leave the next day otherwise we may have returned for the superb hospitality. благодаря ви Milena, you really made our evening.

Lovely restaurant, very friendly service and great food, very correct price/quality

An exceptional address that is highly recommended! The ambience is very unique, in the style of the 20s, the eponymous fabric wallpaper and plush armchairs are omnipresent, as well as very comfortable. The dimmed light gives the whole thing a nice, devious atmosphere. The interior also harmonizes with the menu. Somewhat forgotten drinks like absinthe are still served here in style with an ice water fountain. Although the menu offers regional classics, you should clearly focus on the house dishes. As a starter we had the goat cheese and the beef tartare, classic with capers etc., very tasty. In the main course, both the house recommendation, the sea bream, and the duck breast were a taste experience. Fried to perfection and served with an excellent potato gratin. The service was very polite, maybe. a little too distant, but always concerned about our physical well-being. You can spend a special evening here with smaller groups or as a couple; the quiet and casual atmosphere provides a perfect basis for this.

We sat down at a table at 8:30 PM to have a drink: it was not possible. Only eat until 9 p.m. Too bad, nice place.

AMAZING (all Capitals). The staff are super nice and friendly. Great service combined with AMAZING food. We enjoyed every second and every bite of the food and would totally recommend this cozy and nostalgic restaurant from the 1920s. The starter soup with cheese dumplings was very tasty even though it was a "clear" soup. The main dishes (duck breast in orange sauce and roast beef in gravy) were also made to perfection. The restaurant is a bit on the pricey side but it is worth every penny. It also became very crowded and people were waiting in the queue to be seated. If you wish to eat dinner after 18:30 make sure you make a reservation. The decoration was also really nice inside but we decided to sit outside and enjoy the nice summer weather with a cool breeze and a 1L Bavarian beer.

Käsespaetzle which deserve 7/5! Delicious! I highly recommend this typical Bavarian dish.

We ended up here very spontaneously. The waiters tried very hard to fulfill our request for a table outside, although it would have been great inside because of the ambience. The extremely friendly staff should be highlighted. The food was very good and worth the price.

Unfortunately there is no more Kaiserschmarrn in the evenings…

Really good restaurant that you can recommend 10000%! The food costs €2-3 more, but is worth every cent as the focus here is on the best, regional quality. The restaurant is decorated in a nostalgic style and the service is very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again!

Delicious! Organic bio food and you can truly taste the difference, by far our best dinner in Bavaria. My autistic son who is somewhat a connoisseur and his equally fussy brother truly loved the fish and tender turkey dinners and desserts! Everything was wünderbar, and our server said he was in training to be a chef-he couldn’t have picked a better restaurant imho! I love that the food is from local farms, and that they make a point of saying that everyone is treated fairly:-) we love that! It was Saturday night and busy, but we had always great service and food! We will be back!

Nice restaurant and delicious food, can be recommended

On June 22nd, upon returning from a tour at the Neuschwanstein, it was time for lunch before returning to Munich. We searched for a nearby restaurant with high ratings and the moment Madame Plüsch appeared as a top recommendation, we said let's not waste any time, it's settled. It's a beautifully designed restaurant (so fitting with the beauty of Füssen), it was calm and warm inside, contrasting the rainy evening outside. The staff were gentle and welcoming, a slight relief from encoutering less friendly staff at a certain place in Munich the night before. I ordered a Rumpsteak which I really liked, it's tasty and juicy as it should but I felt it's a bit overpriced for what it offers (my only gripe). The Afri Cola is a refreshing change from the Coca/Pepsi duality. The waitress, Milena was really kind and helpful, and I really appreciate the effort she made to satisfy our requests. She is a brilliant asset to this place. In brief; I recommend.

Apart from the great Kaiserschmarrn and the Käsespätzle, the trained head waiter is the stunner. He knows his craft and a conversation with the guest is very important. Thanks. We would love to come back here on our next visit.

This restaurant is an authentic Bavarian restaurant that serves traditional Bavarian dishes, prepared using organic and local ingredients. We tried many dishes and the food was really delicious. Excellent service. The atmosphere is very cozy , and you will feel you are back to 40's , in a family managed place. Lovely place that I surely recommend.

Die schlimmsten Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Der Zwiebelrostbraten war so zäh, dass sich sogar der Hund verschluckt hat! Der Ziegenkäse schlecht gemacht, das Salatdressing nichtssagend! Die Hausgemachten Nudeltaschen … ich brauch nichts mehr zu sagen… zu Preisen, dass es einem die Haare streubt! Gut , dass wir das Filet nicht für €59,— bestellt haben!!!

I think paying €17 for a glass of wine (0.2), a water 0.25 and a shandy (0.5) is quite a shame, it's actually a shame because the restaurant is nice and the service is friendly. For us it was the last time we were there

My nephew and I enjoyed this restaurant for dinner. The food was very good. The bartender and waitress were extremely friendly and professional. The restaurant is decorated old style - you feel as though you are in someone's home! Reservations are definitely recommended.

An order of two dishes and two craft soft drinks will cost you 60-70 euros on average. The dishes are incredibly tasty, and the establishment has received an international award - a silver star. You need to reserve a table in advance, the portions are large, tasty and very filling. We recommend this place because it fit nicely into our weekend and anniversary celebration. This restaurant is unrealistically atmospheric. My husband and I seem to have plunged into the pre-war 20s of the last century. You wait a little longer for the Kaiserschmarren, but it is freshly prepared in-house and is very, very tasty. The potato cream soup is also very good.

Wonderful small restaurant in the pedestrian district of Fussen. We ate inside, a bit rainy for the pation. Only about a dozen tables on the main floor, and just a really neat interior. Meal was wonderful, absolutely no complaints. Like most of Germany, service was slow but steady, and our waitress did a good job.

From our point of view, an absolute insider tip. A calm, almost quiet atmosphere in the restaurant. This is passed on to the guests, where everyone really sticks to the quiet etiquette, just relaxing. Then the service: a star of soul, pretty to look at, neat, with style she makes the ordinary look old. Polite, attentive, friendly and does it all with love. Just like the whole restaurant is focused on quality. The food not only looks great and delicious, it is too. A short menu has always been an indication of good cuisine. The history is real and is lived. Providence guided us there after a long day of travel that couldn't have ended better.

I can unconditionally recommend this restaurant!!! Here we cook without any additives, the meat comes from nearby 👍 We highly recommend having your own ice cream if there is still room for dessert 😁 But I won't spoil the taste 😉 The staff is extremely accommodating and thinks of everything, you can tell that the ladies and gentlemen enjoy their work 👍💪 Our dog was also welcome and even got water 😀 I would be happy to come back 🤤😀

The waiter was very unfriendly. We went in and asked him for a place to sit, but he didn't even respond and walked away. Totally unacceptable behaviour. We didn't eat there and had to find a new place. Will not go there again.

We had reserved and confirmed a selected table on the 1st floor via email. When we arrived, we were surprised to be told that there was no service on the first floor and that there was no table for us on the ground floor either. We can't say whether the food tastes good, but we certainly won't be making reservations there again.

Incredible!!! It was a very nice experience. Inspired by the beautiful words at the entrance, we reserved a table at Madame Plush for today and ate there. Not only is food from the region offered here (mostly even organic), the employees should also be paid fairly and identify with the company. My verdict: I have rarely received such courteous and friendly service as I did at Madame Plush. I enjoyed anticipating and enjoying each course. Cooking is an art and the restaurant masters it perfectly. The prices are a little higher than in comparison, but products from the region and some organic are just more expensive. Sustainability doesn’t come for free either. So, for everyone who prefers to eat out rarely but better, the restaurant can only be recommended. Unfortunately we come from Dortmund and are not close enough to be able to stop there regularly. But we will definitely come back on our next tour and are already looking forward to more nice encounters. Thanks to the entire team 🙂

Zeer gezellig, mooi ingericht restaurant. Beperkte kaart, aan de prijzige kant maar zeer lekker. Zwiebelrostbraten aan te raden. Ook veel schotels zien voorbijkomen met véél verse groenten.

We were so excited the first time that we went back the next day. This has never happened to me either. A bit high in price but absolutely justified. Charming service, excellent cuisine, a great selection of drinks and food. Nice ambience. I can only recommend it. We had the salad with turkey breast, the onion roast and the duck breast.

From the welcome, the service, the food to the farewell, it's just great. Please keep it up. A little tip - be sure to reserve in advance.

Duck a la orange was extremely tasty, a dream. The onion roast was also great, but I couldn't match the duck because, in my opinion, the sauce wasn't reduced enough, but it was still great. Nikolay was extremely hardworking and friendly. Can only be recommended.

I was on vacation with my girlfriend in Füssen last week and because we liked it so much here, we ate at Madame Plush a second time. The very courteous waiter Nikolay fit into the restaurant just as well as the great furnishings. The food was also a dream, we had onion roast and duck breast. Both were fried to perfection, the portions were generous and it tasted very good! Definitely a recommendation for every guest in the city who is looking for a good place to eat.

Sehr nettes, auf alt gemachtes Lokal im Zentrum von Füssen. Das Essen war lecker aber die Preisleistung war leider, meiner Meinung nach, völlig übertrieben kalkuliert. Für mein Essen hätte man mit Wareneinsatz mal ca 4,5 ein anderes Ergebnis erzielen können. Wahrscheinlich gab es noch Touristische und Lokale Aufschläge😒. Kann aber trotzdem schon empfehlen!

We found a recommendation from Rick Steves' travel guides for this place. It was billed as "nostalgic" German food. I believe this is where we had our best meal, hands-down, on our tour of Bavaria. Our server was delightful and charming. Every dish we tried was superb. We were not rushed at all. Since it was December, the old town plaza was beautifully decorated and lit with Christmas lights. Highly recommend.
