Ambience not really great, service average and the food not great either. Other guests sometimes left almost half of it on their plates. Definitely not recommended for the price.

A somewhat hidden restaurant in the basement in the city center of Füssen. The entrance looks a bit inconspicuous, so some people can easily walk past it. However, that would be a mistake, because in this restaurant guests can expect excellent cuisine with culinary highlights. The elongated guest room is consistently furnished in a cozy, slightly dusty vintage style. The cuisine is excellent. We not only enjoyed very tasty Allgäu cheese spaetzle here, but also an absolutely perfectly prepared steak. Coffee specialties and desserts also leave little to be desired. The service is friendly, attentive and approachable. Gladly again!

I was beyond impressed with this restaurant. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding; everything was fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly balanced. It was the best Bavarian food I’ve ever had, and I’m not even usually a fan of the cuisine. This place completely won me over. The ambiance and decor added to the experience, creating an even more enjoyable vibe. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

Rather not! It will e.g. For example, advertised with homemade cheese spaetzle. These were lukewarm and melted together into an indefinable mass. Prices too high for what is offered. Food average...

A very nice restaurant from 1920. You feel like you've been transported back in time. The staff was super nice. I would like to give 10 stars.

Small, original restaurant with charm. The potato soup from the lunch menu was excellent and served with garlic bread. The Kaiserschmarrn was freshly prepared, the waiting time was absolutely worth it, very crispy on the outside and airy on the inside. The very friendly and hard-working waiter was unfortunately responsible for all the guests alone, so the other guests had to be patient - we were the first guests at lunch and were therefore luckier. Card payment only possible at 50 euros.

We were staying in Füssen to see the castles and were looking for a nice place to eat dinner and this place came up. It is rated as one of the top restaurants in Füssen and I don't think it gives them enough credit. It is at least one of the best restaurants in Bavaria. We had dinner there and then went back for lunch the next day. The staff there were friendly and helpful. The soups were excellent. One of the reasons we went back was to have the beef broth with cheese dumpling soup from the night before but it wasn't on the lunch menu so we ordered the potato soup and that was delicious as well. For dinner we had the steak and the turkey schnitzel and both dishes were excellent and for lunch we had the Weiner Schnitzel and butter späetzle and it was outstanding. I can't say it enough how wonderful the food and staff were. It does get a little warm especially if you are deep in to the restaurant near the kitchen or if it is really crowded so, I'd make sure to remove coats and sweaters before getting comfortable but it is so worth it.

The food was decent, but considering the price point, I expected more. The service, however, was excellent. Unfortunately, the seating was by far the most uncomfortable I’ve experienced in 33 years. Despite not being particularly tall, I couldn’t fit my knees under the table — it didn’t feel like a proper dining table at all. Additionally, the knife provided was barely functional; it struggled to cut the meat and wouldn’t have even sliced through butter. Also, only one vegetarian dish as option (being Kässespätzle) was very disappointing for my partner

My partner and I had lunch at Madame Plüsch today, and we had a lovely time. The Nostalgie-Restaurant represents its theme well through charming old-fashioned decor. It might be even nicer at night for a candlelight dinner. The service was impeccable and our Schnitzels were delicious. Almost all ingredients used by the restaurant are from Demeter or local bio farms.

I didn't like it. The environment may also be particular, but the appearance is of a dusty place that is impossible to clean. Furthermore, the presence of that mannequin behind the curtain could cause you to have a heart attack. Service a little rough. We didn't even like the dishes and the combinations, which lacked taste. However, the meat was tender and cooked well. I wouldn't go back.

For lunch we ordered the potato soup and the red meat was incredible, we went back to eat the duck which is only made for dinner.

Went there during public holiday. Restaurant was full but only have 1 waitor and 1 waitress. Have made reservation but still have waited for 20 mins before we could take a seat even we were on time. Then also waited for a long time to order and for the food. When we were eating the waitor keep rushing up and down and just ruined the cosy relaxing atmosphere Food itself was credible and the staffs were trying to be as friendly as they could but they were just simply too busy.

We originally chose Madame Plush because of the nice interior design - and were overwhelmed by the fantastic food. The onion roast with cheese spaetzle is simply bombastic! And super friendly service, even though it was super crowded today thanks to the holiday and our waiter was literally just running. Absolute recommendation!

Mixed Feelings - the bottom line was that the food was good, but in my opinion the price/performance ratio wasn't right at all, completely overpriced.

Good service, the food was OK but not great. The side salad was served in a lettuce leaf. On the one hand, it was well dressed, but on the other, the lettuce was only roughly torn. The size of the lettuce leaves was more like "animal feed," a bit careless. Also, the 70s/80s were getting in touch, wanting their orange slices back. The beef fillet under the mustard crust was cooked to perfection.

A picturesque setting reminiscent of a German country house from the early 1900s, with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The traditional cuisine is delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and carefully presented. One of the best places in town for an authentic and relaxing meal. Not to be missed!

My partner and I were there at the weekend, a spontaneous reservation worked out great, the cook (?) and the service staff were super nice and we asked several times, without being intrusive, whether everything was okay, whether we were satisfied and whether we needed anything else. The food was fantastic and the toilets were nice and clean. Gladly again! And thank you very much!

Solid tasty food. I had the Kässpätzle. However, not recommended as an individual. You are seated at the cat table at the entrance. The cook comes to the table with everyone else, but he hasn't come up the stairs to meet me. I will be in Füssen for a week but won't visit this restaurant again. In the end the bill was forgotten even though I had asked for it. Only after I demonstratively put on the jacket did I get the waiter's attention.

It was really wonderful! We were a bit irritated at first because the whole atmosphere was somehow different. But all in all it was really worth a visit.

A fun tourist restaurant with delicious food and nice service. The Madame Plush lives up to its name because you actually sit in a living room. We had the cheese spaetzle, which was really excellent. The service was very friendly and I found it nice and unusual that the chef came over and asked if it was tasty. We are happy to recommend this restaurant.

Das Lokal ist sehr gut ausgebucht. Reservieren notwendig. Sehr schönes Ambiente, die MA sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen war sehr lecker, wenn auch etwas zu teuer. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Wir kommen wieder.

Super beautiful! Went here on the recommendation of friends and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is special. The service original. The food was very good and as always too much for me. The cheese spaetzle wow! Also great for afternoon coffee, many special coffee and chocolate variants.

We were won over by this restaurant recommended by Le Routard. The dishes are delicious and very nicely presented! The setting is very pleasant and the waiter is very friendly!

An experience that to define as unpleasant is an understatement. After 15 minutes of waiting ignored by the staff, I witness a table being assigned to a woman who arrived after me, presumably having an advantage only because she is 'local'. When I asked for explanations, the waiter responded in an aggressive and unacceptable manner, demonstrating arrogance and total lack of respect. I decided to leave: I don't spend my money, which is quite a bit given the price range, in a place that treats customers with such disdain. It is a shame that rudeness finds a place even where hospitality should reign. Not to mention the warning that they only accept credit cards worth 50 euros and up (although it's not difficult to reach them here...).

Cozy, small but nice. Steak was great. There were three of us, one drink came later than the other two. Menus were handed out and drinks were only taken with the meal. I know it differently, hence a star deduction for service. And we weren't greeted at the door, we looked for a table ourselves...

Außen und innen Hui , zumindest so lange bis das Essen kam . Gott sei Dank haben wir nur eine Kartoffelsuppe bestellt , nach dem ersten Löffel war es mit der Euphorie vorbei. Was uns da serviert wurde war einfach nur grottenschlecht und eine Beleidigung für jeden Gast . Wie man als Koch so etwas seinen Gästen servieren kann ist uns ein Rätsel

The food was excellent and the service was very personal and friendly. Many dishes have a story and are well thought out. Feel free to ask the service staff. We were thrilled by the starters of beef tartare and goat cheese duet. Thank you again to the kitchen! We can also recommend the onion roast and the sea bream (sea bream). We particularly liked the very friendly and personal contact with the service staff. We would be happy to come back on our next visit to Füssen.

This place is a MUST for so many reasons! The ambience is so intimate and romantic, and the decor is so unique and antiquated. Our server was so warm and welcoming and provided exceptional service from start to end. The beef broth soup with dumplings was the best soup I’ve ever had, and the salmon was so fresh and prepared to perfection. The portions are huge! The freshness and vibrancy of the dishes clearly indicated the quality of the food - the first page of the menu tells you exactly where everything they use in their dishes comes from in the area. I can’t say enough good things about this place, but I have to emphasize this was one of the best meals I’ve had. A true gem of a place for a wonderful Füssen experience!

Despite its high prices, the restaurant is very well attended, including by families with children. We were lucky enough to get a table for two without a reservation. Despite the high occupancy, the staff didn't seem annoyed at all (it was probably a normal evening for this restaurant), the order was taken quickly and friendly and the food was served quickly. The quality of the food served was excellent. So far everything is very good. But the chairs we sat on were genuine antiques: beautiful to look at, but extremely uncomfortable. The backrest forced an unnaturally upright sitting position. The padding wasn't worth mentioning; you actually just sat with your thighs on a narrow crossbar. So we left it with a main course and then quickly said goodbye while other guests were already waiting in a seat in the entrance area. Note: There are different chairs at each table; these are probably old individual pieces that have been beautifully refurbished. Maybe we were just unlucky with our chairs and the others are more comfortable. In this respect: Go there quietly, but make sure you reserve in advance!

Big praise to the kitchen The food is worth every euro and is of incredibly good quality, as all the ingredients seem to come from the region, but are a little more expensive. We'll be back on our next trip through Füssen!

Due to the high Google reviews, we went there for dinner on Friday. The lady who served us was extremely friendly, nice, helpful and attentive. Often asked again when ordering so that everything was served later to our satisfaction. You felt like a guest. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted very good. Large, sufficient portions. Price-performance ratio was right. A very successful evening. I can warmly recommend this restaurant! 👍

Hello everyone. If you're looking for feet, the only advice you can give is to spend an evening in the Madam Plush restaurant. Yesterday there were 10 of us warming up in this wonderful restaurant and if we could give 20 stars then we would. Everything is right there. Super friendly service. The woman is amazing! If I could, I would give it 10 stars! This restaurant is an all-round feel-good package. The service was incredibly nice, friendly and attentive. Also a culinary delight, the homemade ice cream was a dream.

We were in town for one night and had dinner here. We were trying to get into a different restaurant, but they never answered the phone for the reservation. I’m glad that they didn’t because we ended up going here and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the cheese dumplings in consommé. My wife had a turkey schnitzel entrée and I had a fillet of beef entrée with assorted vegetables and potatoes. Both were very good. They were quite busy, but our waitress did a good job handling everything. Highly recommended!

Wow, what a great way to spend our last night here. Walking in from the cold rain we were warmly greeted and luckily there were a couple of tables free. I loved the homely traditional aesthetic, old hats, instruments, and portraits lining the wall illuminated in low candlelight. Yes, the menu was on the pricier side but the portions were very generous and every dish that came out looked impeccable. To begin we ordered a dark beer each (medium was plenty and looked like a pint) then we both had the meatball soup. The broth was more like a consumè, clear but bags flavour. For main my partner has a steak dish which was served with heavy cheesy pasta. He asked for it medium rare but I was definitely more rare than anything, nevertheless delicious. The pasta was so rich though that he gave up halfway through! I chose the seabream which was presented beautifully on its belly surrounded by courgette, potatoes and fruit. The skin of the fish was deliciously crispy! I asked for a small white wine to accompany but this was also a generous amount. To finish I had to try the absinth. This was the first time it's been served to me in it's correct form. Aka sugar cube on a absinth spoon while small droplets of water from above dissolve it into the ratio you desire. To finish i indulged in a hot chocolate. Overall we were never rushed, the lady worked very hard consistently providing great service and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it just for the experience.

This is a very traditional restaurant, with the food you'd expect. It's however prepared very well and is very tasty. The service was excellent. Very understanding and helpful for us. They did everything they could to accommodate our requests. They spoke English very well. Coming in with the right expectations, this place is great.

We stopped in for dinner along our 6-day road trip through Bavaria. I had an beautiful med-Rare roast beef smothered in a tangy rich sauce topped with crispy fried onions accompanied by an amazing spätzle which was like a creamy mac & cheese with just the right amount of al dente chew. It was perfectly paired with the slightly sweet malty dark Paulaner. My wife had an onion & mustard encrusted beef tenderloin served with a tasty and refreshing salad. Overall, atmosphere, food, and service were great; one of the best meals we had along our trip!

I wanted to take a photo of my rump steak, but it was so delicious that I ate it before I thought about it! 🍽️ Madame Plush, you left me speechless and empty my plate. A must for anyone who loves good food and a trip to the 20s! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
