Small but cool restaurant, very good food

The waiters are still very friendly. The taste of the beef noodles is hard to describe. The upper layer is a bit sweet and the lower layer is salty. The portion is not very large. If I wasn't starving, I wouldn't be able to eat. The best thing about the whole meal was the drink. . .

I ordered lemongrass curry with rice, it’s very delicious. The staff are nice and friendly. I recommend this place.

If you never had really good Pho, this place is quite decent. I think the broth is underperforming a bit, but the noodles and the chillies are on spot. I would also not really recommend the asian beef noodles here. The staff is friendly.

Very nice shop, I was there with 3 others, I like the atmosphere. I ordered the Pho Soup and found it very tasty, but only 4 stars because the other 3 dishes weren't that good, but maybe. just not our taste. Service was OK.

The starter and main course were both far too small, overpriced and extremely salty. It was really disappointing.

I can't really understand the many positive reviews. Food was ok, but far from authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The pho soup was a mix of miso soup (Japanese) and pho. In addition, bean sprouts were missing and the tofu was raw silken tofu. I've had much better Pho in Germany! In addition, the service was very slow and rather self-absorbed!

The place is nice and the service is good. But the food is mediocre at best, without any spice or flavor typical of the asian cuisine.

So where do I start. The food was good. However, the order was a bit unfortunate because the wrong food was initially brought... However, we were not charged for this and the service responded in a friendly and accommodating manner. All in all, the visit was good.

I ordered takeaway. Summer rolls were ok, though on the smaller side. Spring roll(singular!) was too expensive. It was a small portion, size was more the equivalent of 2 mini spring rolls for 6+ EUR... All in all, the food was ok. Won't order there again as price/quality ratio is a bit off.

I was disappointed eating here. We ordered a pho soup, spring rolls and a lemongrass dish with tofu. I know spring rolls as a fresh roll with vegetables. I got a fried roll with chicken, I guess that's my bad because I looked again and the menu does say that its a chicken fried roll. Anyway I was shocked at the size and the look of that dish. The sauce was delicious but the tofu had a strange taste and I think it my have gotten bad, I took it out and didn't eat it. The place looks nice and cool but I won't return

Cozy place. Small but nice menu with slightly different dishes. We ate deliciously, whether it was curry noodles, peanut sauce (lazy peanut sauce) or rice noodle salad.

The food was below average. It is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I would definitely skip this one.

Really loved the place before the remodeling. My South East Asian fiancee called it "Arab Pho" because to her the chefs and kitchen personnel looked middle eastern. But it was the best Pho in town for us (and we had tried many). Bit on the spicier side than the usual ones. Lately we went again and it was so so. Pho still much better than the other dishes but somehow not the same. Hope we only had a not so super day but have not felt the urge to come again since (and before we went every 2 weeks as we cannot really cook proper noodle soups at home).

The shop looks nice but the food tastes like it came from a freezer (the teriyaki chicken skewers are particularly bad) and we had to go to the counter and place our order ourselves... generally not recommended...

Food was okay. Pho was nothing extraordinary. Tried the tahini noodles which was also not that great. The service was really nice. The lady who was serving was very friendly and warm.

Place nice and cozy. One nice young lady in front that took: orders, payment, making drinks, taking dishes and separating them and one person in kitchen. Food was good for a quick lunch but would like to praise the young lady that works hard and does everything simultaneously. Me and my husband had a nice time here. Lemonade very good.

Since I visited at an odd time, I was able to eat quietly without it being crowded. I ordered one beef rice noodle and one red curry menu, and I recommend both! I was hungry, but it was so delicious👍🏻 The server is also in the middle and everything is ok? I'm glad you asked :)

We went to PhoYou again today and were disappointed. We eat Vietnamese very often and have good comparison options. Our first visit last year was a pleasure, unfortunately today less so. The summer rolls consisted only, really only, of iceberg lettuce and carrot strips. So basically iceberg rolling. No pasta, no herbs, no vegetables. When asked about it, we were told that they were vegetarian. We weren't allowed to give them back. A completely tasteless experience for 5.50 each. The main course was ok (no more) and very manageable in terms of portion size. We're not coming anymore.

It was so good and they were so nice, no waiting for food and it tasted delicious. Bathrooms were clean

A small but cozy place serving Vietnamese cuisine not far from the New Pinakothek. There are seats inside and outside the establishment. Friendly staff. I ordered pho bo with beef. The broth was very tasty, the portion was filling, the only thing missing was wheat sprouts, but they were replaced by a selection of fresh herbs. The prices are excellent for the city center.

No idea why it has over 4 stars, the food doesn't taste like much to be honest, and the service was just planned. Some of the edamame is still cold (i.e. still from the freezer), the rice and meat in the teriyaki dish are simply dry. Maybe a bad day, but definitely far from a good Asian Edit: the restaurant tried to have my review removed from Google. Meanwhile, the rating has also increased from 4.2 to 4.7. I'll leave it like that.

The tofu was extremely salty and portion sizes are on the small side. The taste is ok. The interior is pretty, but it feels more like a bar than a restaurant.

The restaurant is very pretty and the staff is friendly. However, I didn't like the pho soup with the tofu at all. The broth was good, the noodles were plentiful, but clumped together. However, the tofu simply tasted terrible.

Wonderful! Not particularly comfortable, but modern. The food and especially that is wonderful. Price is totally okay. No complaints. The service is top, even very good!

Have a good lunch at this restaurant. Ordered 2 items. First is Pho but the chef has substituted the original pho with another type of noodles. Probably due to difficulty in buying Pho in Munich. That aside, its soup is quite similar to what you would get in Vietnam. Second is the Spicy Tahini Noodles. This is a flour noodle cooked in plenty of sesame paste and mint leaves. Enjoyed my meal here.

I ordered the Spicy Noodle dish. Had nothing to do with Spicy. The ambience is quite nice, but in Munich: the outdoor area is on the sidewalk and you sit very close to your neighbors. Interior is small but nice. When it came to service... the guy was really nice but had something of an NPC quality about him. Although there was nothing going on, the drinks didn't come that quickly, and overall everything went rather slowly. But overall it was ok.

Very solid Asian restaurant. Blackberry Spritz is sweet and good, the Tahini Spicy Noodles are also tasty. Great meeting with friends on a warm spring evening☺️ From now on we can also remember the meetings we had together. Frederick, 83

The worst Asian food we have ever eaten. Had Asian Beef Noodles, the mince is chopped up tough, flaxy non-chewable beef and coriander was missing! Also Spicy Tahini Noodles with sauce thickened with cornstarch. Both inedible! Never again!

Tasty and inexpensive thai curries (around 10 euros), nice service and relaxed down-to-earth atmosphere

Not that many seats, you should at least make a reservation on the weekend... The food is very tasty, but the portions are manageable. Very good drinks. However, the service is not very attentive and not very accommodating. We tried several times to order more drinks to no avail.

We could smell the Pho from a block away and had to get some. It was super flavorful!

Had the Pad Thai and the lemongrass curry and loved it! Very delicious and great in terms of spiciness.

Had a Pad Thai with tofu. The tofu was simply packed next to the noodles, unfried and seemingly unseasoned. It tasted accordingly. The noodles had a good bite to them. However, they were too monotonous, especially because of the very watery sauce. Overall not recommended for the 12.90.

I would not recommend this place if you are looking for good Asian food. The Pho was so different from the authentic Pho, small portion and with beef is 14€ which totally isn’t worth it. The tables are so close to each other and not comfy seats. We were so hungry that tried this place, but for sure will not be back there. The only positive side was the friendly waitress and clean place.

The restaurant was renovated about 1.5 years ago and looks really great. The food is very tasty and the prices are fair.

Ordered the mango curry, but no mango seen or tasted. Maybe I got a different curry? In general, the curry was very bland and could use more spices. Also, the menu is confusing, it seems that they do not know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. And many dishes include no meat/tofu by default...

Whereas the service was friendly, they did mix our orders and forgot about two drinks. The biggest problem was the food, the red curry and lemongrass curry are watery and the vegetables taste undercooked. Even worse, the mango curry had no trace of mango inside. Overall, I cannot recommend it.

Made another top discovery for lunch today. Update February 2024: Unfortunately, after my visit today, I noticed a few changes that lead to a downgrade. Unfortunately, cash payment is no longer possible here. Orders are no longer placed at the table. Clearing is now SelfeService. A pity. The opening time after 3 p.m. and an after work menu from this time on are also positive. Let's see how it develops.

Delicious food, so fresh. Had the mango curry which was phenomenal. Staff is also very friendly. Space is very cute. Loved it and will be back.

Pad Thai tasted nothing like pad Thai

After eating here years ago, I was happy on my last visit to Munich. First Bummer: NO more cash allowed. It may be ok for system catering, but not for normal restaurants where staff communication is also expected. That's part of it, even if it takes time. You still take tips. Well, unfortunately the food is now more expensive and much blander than it is when paying by card: Pho soup now much blander, little herbs or flavor. Had the vegetarian version. Banh mi is not traditional like in Vietnam in a baguette, there is nothing crunchy left in it, pickles are too soft. However, services are efficient and friendly. It's a shame, but everything comes to an end...

Four of us wanted to have dinner there. At the entrance we were greeted by a sign that said that no cash payment is possible, only card payment! THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS!!! We then went back and ate a few houses away and were able to pay with cash. So I can't say anything about the food. Unfortunately, the service only deserves one star!

Es war die schlechteste Suppe, die ich je gegessen habe Rindfleisch kaum kaubar Überhaupt kein Geschmack (Wasser, Sellerie, Nudeln und extra Rindfleisch) Die Portion der Glasnudeln war für ein Kind und sehr schlecht gekocht. Die Dekoration ist für Street food, aber die Preise sind für ein Restaurant à la Carte. Danach küsst man sofort die Toilette Also sehr schlechte Erfahrung und ich wundere mich über die vielen positiven Bewertungen (gefälscht?)

Absolut unglaublich leckeres Essen. Preis Leistung Top, vor allem für München. Gesundes hochqualitatives Vietnamesisches Essen mit einem Kick internationaler cuisine. Nur zum weiterempfehlen + Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Wir waren spontan zu zweit dort und haben die Spicy Tahini Noodles mit Tofu und das Zitronengras Curry mit Hühnchen bestellt. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir noch Edamame und eine Sommerrolle. Das Essen war super lecker, die Karte ist klein aber man kann mit keinem Gericht was falsch machen. Schärfe genau passend, Geschmack richtig frisch. Das Ambiente ist toll, das Licht abgedunkelt. Das Lokal ist relativ klein, bei mehreren Personen muss man eher Glück haben oder gleich reservieren. Klare Empfehlung von uns!

Intossicazione alimentare, non serve dire altro

Nachdem das PhoYou lange Zeit die, meiner Meinung nach, beste Pho der Stadt hatte (5 Sterne), ist die Brühe seit einigen Monaten leider überhaupt nicht mehr das was sie mal war. Neuer Koch, anderes Rezept? Mysteriös, aber sehr sehr schade!

Wir haben einen Reisnudelsalat mit Tofu bestellt und ein rotes Thai Curry. Bei beiden Gerichten haben die meisten Zutaten gefehlt (keine Gurke/mango/gutes Dressing beim reisnudelsalat - kein Brokkoli / bambusstreifen etc. beim Curry). Super teuer für ein echt schlechtes Essen. Ziemlich enttäuschend, früher war es gut.

Top essen für einen top Preis! Personal sehr freundlich, das Essen wird schnell serviert . Am liebsten bestelle ich immer die Pho mit Rind oder das lazy Peanut Gericht mit Huhn! Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wie haben PhoYou gestern zum ersten Mal besucht. Der Laden ist relativ klein und man muss es mögen, dass man nicht soo gemütlich mit Lehne sitzt. Ansonsten waren die Summerrolls sehr sehr lecker! Das Terijaki mit Hähnchen kann ich auch empfehlen. Beim Lemongrass Curry mit Tofu finde ich es schade, dass der Tofu so pur kommt. Finde ich frittiert immer leckerer. Aber alles in allem lecker und nette Bedienung 🫶🏼

Ich habe gerade über WOLT dort bestellt, mein extra Tofu wurde zwar berechnet, aber nicht geliefert! Und die Pho schmeckt komisch süß! Mir schmeckt es leider gar nicht und ohne Tofu sowieso enttäuschend! Die Edamame hingegen waren gut.

War ein Fan dieses Ladens von Anfang an (vor ca. 4 Jahren eröffnet). Nun hat nicht nur die Qualität nachgelassen (Das Rindfleisch in meiner Phò war trocken), sondern man kann nur noch mit Karte bezahlen. Meine Karte ging nicht und ich konnte nicht bezahlen trotz ausreichend Cash, wie unflexibel, wieso nicht einfach beide Bezahlmöglichkeiten anbieten (wie die letzten 4 Jahre auch!). So verliert man treue Kunden.

Sehr leckeres Essen und die Bedienung auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sehr nahe bei der Uni.

Wir hatten das Mango Curry und Pho mit extra Beef. Zur Vorspeise haben wir noch eine Sommerrolle bestellt. Es war sehr lecker, nicht die beste Sommerrolle, die wir hatten, aber auch nicht schlecht. Das Curry und die Pho-Suppe waren super. Service war freundlich, Bezahlung geht nur bargeldlos.
