Ben Thanh Asia Cuisine in München

It's more of a Chinese snack bar than a real restaurant, there are only a few tables and the atmosphere is more of a snack bar than a restaurant. The food was at the table quickly and was very tasty, the portion was sufficient and filling. The presentation on the plate was also a pleasure. You could easily pay with a card or in cash. A real insider tip in a side street in Munich (5 minutes from the tram stop on lines 18 or 19.

The shop was clean and clean, and even though I couldn't speak German at all, they explained things to me in detail, which made me very satisfied. The shrimp soup was super delicious. The flavor of the shrimp blended into the sweet and spicy milky soup, and it was super delicious. If I were in Japan, I would be satisfied with just this and rice.

***Tasty and great service*** We were completely satisfied! The service was attentive and friendly, and special requests (e.g. fresh chilies) were fulfilled immediately. To eat: We had Phở Xào (fried flat rice noodles with beef) and Udon Xào (fried udon noodles with chicken) - both well seasoned, freshly made and with a pleasant, smoky wok aroma. The roasted aromas made the whole thing even more intense. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. The restaurant has a cozy living room atmosphere. You can hear something from the neighboring tables, but that makes it more homely than disturbing. The dishes are even translated into English on the menu. We were able to pay by card without any problems - the older comments were probably made when the card machine didn't cooperate. Clear recommendation, we would love to come back!

The food was pretty good and you didn't have to wait long for it, but there were a few points that bothered me a bit: Unfortunately, card payment is not possible here, although according to the homepage it should be possible. I only found out about this on site. The restaurant is quite small, which is why you inevitably hear almost every conversation. Luckily when I arrived there was a small table for me. The door closes very badly. It's a shame that it only got 3 stars.

Typical Asian restaurant that prioritise white people for their business, was full outside and I was declined to sit outdoors. Next moment they were shifting a table next to us outdoors for another customer (white, surprise). Food was not authentic but catered to white people. Ok but nothing fancy, either keep it real or keep it fancy. Would have put my money else down a few streets.

Ordered for pickup. It was ready quickly enough, but the taste was pretty average, with a few exceptions. The herbs and mushrooms were missing from our Tom Yum Gung soup. The yakitori skewers were delicious, but the menu might mention that they come with peanut sauce. We were expecting teriyaki. Ebi Tempura Sushi was great, but the Lacks Nigiri was more reminiscent of a supermarket box. Conclusion: Ups'n Downs.

Due to its proximity to Circus Krone, we had dinner here before a concert. Super nice and quite small restaurant. Reservations definitely make sense here. Lovingly prepared and good food. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Klein aber fein und gemütlich. Ein bisschen Wohnzimmer Feeling mit 6 Tischen. Toller Service und viele Gerichte. Gute Auswahl an Sushi. Leider nur 2 Weine und die sind von der Stange.

Das Enterieur ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Anzahl der Tische und Plätzer überschaubar. Der Service ist schnell und aufmerksam. Die Küche meint es etwas zu gut mit dem Salat in den Speisen. Die Portionen sind groß, leider fehlt geschmacklich das gewisse Etwas. Alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt.

Schönes kleines Restaurant, für so ein kleinen Laden schick eingerichtet. Essen hat uns geschmeckt. Es gibt auch für Vegetarier eine gute Auswahl, kann mich nicht beschweren :)

Ich hatte meine Zweifel, dass dies kein Restaurant ist, in dem ich essen würde. Heute war ich zum ersten Mal dort zum Abendessen. Ich kann sie für ihren freundlichen Service und das gute Essen loben. Dankeschön 5 STARS !!! BIS nächtes mal.

Such an authentic and amazing restaurant owned by lovely Vietnamese people. The food was super delicious and fresh. The service was incredible. We enjoyed it a lot and will definitely go there again. Highly recommended!

Einfacher laden mit sehr nettem Personal Das Sushi ist preislich etwas zu hoch für das was geboten wird. Habe das Essen persönlich leider nicht so gut vertragen - aber das ist immer anders Ansonsten alles super 👍

Ich reise in München. Ich bleibe eine Woche hier, dann esse ich 6 Tage in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen ist gut, der Preis ist zu gut, aber die Wartezeit ist etwas lang, weil die Leute in einer langen Schlange zum Essen kommen.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Reise in München und ich war im Ben Thanh 1986 restaurant abendessen.Das Essen ist so lecker und der Preise ist ganz günstig. Ich war am Tag einbisschen voll und muss 30-40min gewartet aber für ein so leckerer Essen und mit dem Preis einbisschen geduld ist sehr verständlich. Ich bin jedenfalls zurück wenn ich wieder in München bin. Top 1 Empfehlung für Euch.

Gut, aber Vegetarier aufgepasst! Gutes Essen, preislich ok, entspannter kleiner Laden und freundlich. Leider werden fälschlicherweise Gerichte mit Fisch oder Austern als vegetarisch gekennzeichnet und die Bedienung bestätigt auf Nachfrage sogar noch das Fischsoße vegetarisch sei. Es ist also kein Versehen, sondern eine falsche Interpretation. Daher ist die Karte für Vegetarier leider ein ziemliches Minenfeld und da die Bedienung mit dem Begriff vegetarisch oder vegan offenbar gar nichts anfangen kann, muss ich leider davon abraten, wenn man sicher gehen will.

Hier ist das besten , dem wir bisher gegessen haben .der Bediener war sehr freundlich zu uns . Preiswert, aromatisch Und sehr empfehlenswert für . Einmal in München soll ihr diesem Restaurant besuchen , damit ihr euch den 5 Stern Restaurants fühlen könnt .

Bestes Bun in München, schon 50 Mal gegessen. Vielen Dank für dieses grossartige Restaurant. Leider ist die grossartige Hanh, die gute Seele den Restaurants nicht mehr die Chefin. Jetzt habe ich heute wohl das letzte mal dieses tolle Bun mit Tofu essen dürfen. Aber die Neuen Besitzer sind auch nett, das essen schmeckt gut, aber es ist nicht mehr was es mal war….

Erst zu Hause gemerkt, dass es nicht das Gericht war, was ich bestellt hatte. Die (trockene und zähe Ente) war in einer scharfen Soße, was ich überhaupt nicht vertrage. Gemüse war auch nur Kohl und ein paar Zucchinischeiben. Schade.

Comida deliciosa, cocinada en el lugar, creo, marido y mujer dirigiendo el lugar juntos. Era sabroso y delicioso, dando la impresión de comida casera. Mi compañero y yo comimos una ensalada vietnamita, una sopa Tom Yum con camarones y dos curry rojo, uno con pollo y otro con camarones. Muy picante sin ser demasiado picante. Precios más que decentes. Definitivamente volveremos.

Tried it yesterday the first time and I must say it was delicious. Perfectly spicy, great portion and quite cheap! My new favourite place that I will try a lot more now.

This little restaurant has great quality food and good service. It looks like it is owned and run by a hard-working couple. We ordered spring rolls, Tom yum soup, pho and pad thai. Everything was tasty and we were very satisfied. I highly recommend supporting this family-owned business :)

Mischung aus Restaurant / Imbiss mit nur 4 Tischen. In dieser Ecke von München bekommt man hier das Beste Preis - Leistungsverhältnis wenn man Hunger hat und kurz für wenig Geld gesunde und abwechslungsreiche Küche haben möchte. Sicher nicht das richtige Restaurant für den romantischen Abend zu zweit aber dafür schnell, frisch, lecker, solide Auswahl an Gerichten und unschlagbar günstig im Vergleich zu allen anderen Restaurants in der Nähe.

I have already visited this restaurant a couple of times. It is quite small but cosy. They serve authentic Vietnamese food, e.g. popular Pho or summer rolls. But there are also other Asian dishes like Thai curry and of course SUSHI! All freshly made after you finished your order. I also like ordering take out. During working days you usually get a free Peking soup or crispy spring rolls added to your main dish! Highly recommend going there :)
