Annam Grill in München

It's a nice restaurant with delicious food and a wide selection of specialties. These include, for example, summer rolls that you can roll yourself. These come with a choice of meat, fish, or tofu, rice noodles, salad, and beefsteak plants. The staff always made sure everything was delicious and were very friendly. I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful menu with something for everyone including vegans. We were a group of 7 and 5 of got a version of duck; so delicious 😋...every version I tried such as peanut, mango, and others. I got stir fry vegetables in their handmade sauce which was soy and just ok; I would try their vegetables in coconut milk next time. We all got different desserts and they were all so delicious 😋 May 19, 2025 our group of 8 returned for another delicious 😋 dinner. Everyone loved their food. I got the papaya salad with chicken and it was delicious 😋. The chicken is crispy slices on top of the salad and was soooo tasty! We loved it as much as we love their crispy duck. We already are counting down to our next trip to Munich in the 🍁 fall. The staff here is very nice and friendly.

Good Vietnamese restaurant, but the food could use more sauce. The service was friendly, but not always sufficiently present. Our dessert took an unbearably long time to finally be served. In any case, there is a Vietnamese man on nearby Goethestrasse who is worth visiting.

This restaurant was absolutely packed on a Saturday evening. We did not reserve a table so we could only gat one for one hour. Our food cam out within no time so we had time to eat. I really loved the fresh vegetables and the authentic atmosphere. Their special tea (with goji berries) was bit of a disappointment. Otherwise recommended!

We had dinner at Annam's with children. It was just great!!! The soup was delicious, the pasta dishes were delicious, the children wanted spring rolls in between - they were quickly brought and they were also delicious!!!! The service staff was very attentive and friendly!! The atmosphere in Te is pleasant. It's cozy. The prices are completely reasonable for a big city. All in all we had a wonderful evening and thank you very much!!!

I was in this restaurant for the first time last night: it is modern and stylish, with a few authentic touches. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! You get absolutely wanderlust and wish you could try “everything”. I'm not an expert on Vietnamese cuisine - does it taste exactly the same as it does locally? The food and plates/platters are plentiful and very delicious! We'll definitely be back!

I recently discovered the An Nam restaurant during a visit to Munich. And I'm really excited 👍😎 a restaurant exactly to my taste: fine, tastefully decorated, relaxed and cozy with authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Perfect! At the beginning of the menu there is also some background information, here are a few excerpts: The name of the restaurant is a historical name for a region in Southeast Asia (“Annam”), which encompasses a large part of Vietnam. It is also the old Chinese name for Vietnam. Now to my culinary experience (spoilered in advance, it was great 😉): The selection of starters, main courses and vegetarian dishes is very good and varied. The preparation is great, loving and of perfect quality - a great experience for the eyes and palate 😎😋 The prices are very good, not too expensive and absolutely justified. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating! All in all, I felt very comfortable, had a lovely evening and will definitely come back 👍💯! Thank you very much dear An Nam team 🙏🏻

Great place for good authentic vietnamese food. Especially the prawns in sweet potatoe and the Ban Xiao are very good dishes. We came with the young kids and owner gave as great seating and good service. We will definitely come again.

The food was really very good: whether it was pho, main course or dessert. The place isn't very comfortable, but you can sit neatly and feel authentic. Unfortunately, the all-male staff is not well trained. When clearing away, people reach over the plate and clear it away almost constantly. You get the feeling that you should go again soon..

Was here for the first time. There is a special lunch menu with a relatively large selection and reasonable prices for main courses around €11. Drinks and teas are also offered at acceptable prices. Anyone who loves Vietnamese/Asian cuisine is in good hands here.

A great Vietnamese restaurant with very good cuisine in a great atmosphere. All dishes were prepared with a lot of dedication and tasted very good. Unfortunately, the service was hardly able to speak German, which isn't a problem in itself, but doesn't really suit a restaurant with such a price level. The prices are overall quite high, especially for Vietnamese cuisine. If it were a little cheaper, I would like to come more often :-)

I have eaten here locally and ordered several times. Usually half duck with noodles which I can only recommend. Last time I ordered a Pho Bo(Annam). I have to say that I have rarely had such good pho even in Vietnam. It was also nice that the meat was only partially cooked and I could only let it finish in the hot soup at home. However, I would recommend that you include a note when ordering so that other customers who are not well versed in kitchen matters are not put off by the raw meat. Big praise to the kitchen👍💪

Absolutely authentic Vietnamese food! We had the summer rolls as a starter and I had the fish of the day from the hot plate as my main course - a dream! The service was extremely friendly and although it was very busy on a Saturday evening, you could sit comfortably and chat. Highly recommended!

Were to begin? The start was good. We started with the mix starters. That was really a lovely dish. But then everything turns around by getting the soup with wonton. The wontons were not good anymore. The taste was horrible and it tickles in the mouth, so you know the prawn inside wasnt good. These things can happen of course but the way the staff react on this situation was really strange. They said the cook checked everything and that it was fine. We left, we had to pay for the soup and this made the whole experience really bad.

It was only by chance that I discovered this restaurant during my stay in Munich. And I am extremely happy about this coincidence!! :)) I've eaten there 5 times within a week and have been absolutely happy every time. The slightly higher, but absolutely normal prices for downtown Munich are more than reasonable considering the very good quality of the ingredients, the excellent taste and the generous quantities! All of this is complemented by a very friendly and courteous service that is always open to a nice conversation :) I can really recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine! And a little tip: The lunch menu has a large selection of different dishes, all of which are around 10 euros, but the quality, taste and quantities have not been lost. I can particularly recommend Bun, a lukewarm rice noodle bowl with an additional choice of meat/fish topping. This is really the ideal meal, especially with the warm temperatures at the moment. Really kudos to the kitchen and service, who do a great job! Thank you and definitely see you soon :)

My precious review of Anham Grill was 5 star. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. Things seem to have changed. The menu is more expensive now and the food quality seems to have gone down. My husband surprised me with my favorite resteraunt for Mother's day. I got summer rolls and pho soup with tofu. For the first time, the soup was not very good. It was not flavorful and altogether not good to eat. The summer rolls tasted excellent, but I spent nearly all night long with food poisoning and severe stomach pain. I threw up for several hours until the summer rolls and soup were all out of my body. This is unfortunate as I really liked this restaurant, but it is not the same as it once was.

One of my best Vietnamese dinner experience. Vietnamese food is good but often the same. Here there was a plus. A very nice and quiet terrace. A pleasure.

Very large selection of dishes. I normally tend to shy away, but I think it's great here. So far everything I've tried has been great. Very generous portions both in the evening and at lunch. The desserts are also highly recommended, especially the green tea or black sesame ice cream. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is just as you would expect. If you like eating Asian food, this is a real insider tip.

Modern, colorful and pleasant atmosphere that is now quite typical for Asian restaurants - including scent. Praise the cook! It is not a given that you can taste each of the vegetables in a green beef curry individually and that everything is in the right proportions to each other. The duck was crispy and pleasantly low in fat. Good but not excessive portions. It's not that hot - 3 chilies mean nothing (but then again, it's Vietnamese and not Thai). We've never been to Vietnam, but we still think we've had above-average authentic cuisine here. The only small point of criticism: fresh (or pickled) chilies would be a much better alternative for spicing up these fine dishes than the ready-made chili pastes, which actually kill any taste of their own. Professional, quick service with a penchant for the clean table. Definitely inexpensive.

An excellent Vietnamese restaurant. We have already been to this restaurant twice and can agree with the many positive feedbacks here. The menu is extremely diverse and it is almost difficult to decide on a special dish because they all sound and taste very delicious. The service is also very attentive! The entire atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and well-kept. A real recommendation for us in the middle of Munich!

Super good soup as a starter, just right: a bit spicy in the finish and with fresh coriander. The main courses were also flawless and the pasta dishes had a very good ratio of pasta to vegetables to meat. Strong recommendation!

Hervorragender freundlicher Service, der auch nicht ungeduldig wird, wenn man mit Kindern etwas länger braucht, um in den sehr zahlreichen Möglichkeiten etwas auszusuchen, das dem jeweiligen Kind auch schmeckt. Sehr leckere vietnamesische Pho - die Brühe hat wirklich nach einer sehr langen Kochzeit geschmeckt. Sehr großzügiges Angebot an Kräutern für die Pho und die Sommerrollen zum selber Rollen. Auch sehr faire Preise für die Flaschenweine. Die Preise für glasweise Wein finde ich relativ hoch und die Preise für die Hauptgerichte sind spätestens nach der MwSt Anpassung Anfang des Jahres 2024 auch nur noch selten unter 20 Euro. Aber eines der besten vietnamesischen Restaurants in München, meiner Meinung nach!

Bij binnenkomst werden we niet hartelijk welkom geheten. We kregen een tafel toegewezen tussen de voordeur en hal die leidde naar de toiletten. We hadden gezien dat er nog andere tafeltjes vrij waren dus vroegen of we misschien een ander tafeltje konden krijgen. Niet mogelijk. We hebben daarop besloten weg te gaan. De gastheer keek niet op of om. Gastvrijheid is hier ver te zoeken.

Wir waren für einen Valentinstag Dinner dort. Das Ambiente ist nicht besonders dafür geeignet, da die Tische sehr eng bei einander stehen. Unser Tisch war um eine Ecke, so dass wir nicht besonders schön einander zugewandt sitzen konnten. Das Essen war gut, aber die Hauptgerichte kamen nicht gleichzeitig am Tisch an. Es war ein bisschen komisch. Wir mussten uns bei der Bedienung immer melden, wenn wir was gebraucht haben . nicht einemal kam jemand zum Tisch, um zu fragen, ob alles i.O. war. Im ganzen ganz OK, aber nicht für einen romantischen Anlass.

Wieder einmal hervorragendes Essen. Wir mussten allerdings über 20 Minuten auf die Rechnung warten und mehrmals nachfragen. Leider ist der Service hier immer wieder stark verbesserungsbedürftig.

Essen kam für zwei Personen nicht zusammen. Das erste Essen wurde kalt. Der Vorraum in dem wir sassen war sehr kalt durch das rein und rausgehen. Und leider auch sehr laut. Empfehlung eher im hinteren Bereich?

The restaurant is very pretty and comfortably furnished, what I also found very positive were the cloth napkins. The service was very attentive, discreet and courteous, As a starter we had a small Phở. Personally I found them too bland. The herbs were appropriate and also fresh. For the main course we had banh xèo (Vietnamese crepes) and thịt kho tộ dua (caramelized pork belly in coconut) Banh xèo was a little soggy due to the filling that was added after the crepe was ready. Usually the filling is added right at the beginning. I see potential for improvement here Thịt kho tộ was OK a little bland usually it's full of flavor the caramelized sauce was also too thin. The absolute highlight for us was the dessert Pandan Panna Cotta, which was also shown at Galileo.

The restaurant is a little noisy but otherwise really wonderful. The dishes are delicious and I was surprised that every single dish we ordered as a group was super fresh and presented with love, especially with such a large menu. The butter crab starter and the seafood and garlic fried rice are highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and, despite the many guests, they were there quickly if you needed something. All in all, a really good Vietnamese restaurant with an extensive and special selection of dishes.

The Annam Grill looked rather inconspicuous to me from the outside and then turned out to be a gem! Nice, cozy atmosphere, a little homely and pleasant in terms of noise. The menu is extensive and varied. The service could be a little more attentive. Overall, a great restaurant that I would go to again at any time. Top!

We were really looking forward to a lovely New Year's Eve with satay and a table grill. Unfortunately we were very negatively surprised! Starters and desserts could not be ordered. The table grill promised on the homepage could not be ordered either. Uncolored a quarter of the menu couldn't be ordered and if that wasn't enough, the atmosphere was incredibly bad (tables that were clearly too close; low-level visitors; the waiters brought orders incorrectly and weren't really friendly)! The food was relatively okay (at least what could be ordered). Unfortunately, clearly not a recommendation!!

Eine positive Überraschung! Das Essen war richtig gut! Auch die Einrichtung ist schön. Einziger Verbesserungspunkt: Die Musik. Im Hintergrund düdelt die ganze Zeit irgendeine 90er-Jahre-Musik, das passt irgendwie so gar nicht. Hier wären "vietnamesische Klänge" schöner.

Great service and delicious authentic Vietnamese food. Owner speaks English, Mandarin, Vietnamese and German. There are many options for vegetarians. For big group of 12+ we sat outside and were served very fast.

Schön eingerichteter Ort, viele Sitzplätze draußen. Die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit der Kellner könnte etwas mehr sein. Essen ist geschmacklich und optisch wirklich gut. Dennoch finde ich nicht, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gerechtfertigt ist. Alle Hauptgerichte liegen preislich bei 20€ (egal ob Tofu, Ente, Hühnchen oder Rind) was ich persönlich schon teuer - gerade im Vergleich zu anderen Vietnamesischen Restaurants - finde.

Haben uns das Essen liefern lassen. Die Lieferung hat deutlich länger gedauert, als Lieferando uns das vorhergesagt hat. ABER das Warten hat sich absolut gelohnt. Das Essen war einfach köstlich. Es war sicher nicht unsere letzte Bestellung bei ANNAM GRILL.

Restaurant ist sehr gut die Bedienung schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist auch nicht überteuert und auch sehr lecker. Ich finde es auch schön wie die Kellner versuchen so gut wie möglich Deutsch zu sprechen und es ist ebenfalls schön direkt wenn man reinkommt vor der Tür empfangen zu werden. Ich kann es sehr Empfehlen. 😋😁
