A very good standard kebab, I think they don't make their own skewers otherwise you can eat it and I think it's one of the best in Bamberg when it comes to kebabs

Changed... has gotten worse since the owner's death. Portions are getting smaller, less meat, salad is sometimes only roughly chopped. Often bland taste. Quality suffers because of greed.

Michelin 🌟 worthy kebab sandwich. Friendly guests, great food. This is what you want to refuel yourself instead of the car. Located in a pleasant, lively street, what an ambiance. Quality a 10 and prices that almost make you want to take another one with you when you wake up the next morning.

I ate a falafel sandwich and it was very bad. The falafel wasn't fresh and the price of the sandwich was expensive at 7 euros.

Oh well. I ate a vegan kebab with soy slices there. I had the feeling they weren't fried. That was nothing, I didn't like it. There are also thinly sliced, crispy vegan kebabs!? When paying, a piece of euro fell into the salad. Not that bad, it didn't bother anyone.

Disappointed I've been going there since I was a child. You used to get a nice kebab with lots of toppings, lots of meat, lots of salad, etc I've tried it twice now and each time there was far too much salad and not much meat on the kebab The marmaris was really the best kebab in Bamberg but now I'm really sad and disappointed

It's clearly one of the top 3 kebabs in Germany alongside Berlin and Stuttgart. I can say that because I travel a lot for work and eat kebabs 2 to 3 times a week in different cities. Marmaris BA is tasty with the flatbread and the finely seasoned meat definitely top league.

Don't eat anywhere else. It's soooo delicious!!! Durum is perfect. Edit: actually it's the best kebab I've ever eaten. Really. Lahmacun one, with meat.

This is hands down the best kebab I ever had (and I ate them also in Turkey Poland UK France Spain and other side of Bamberg river but who cares). Just go get it and you won't regret it

Definitely not recommended! You aren't even greeted, the store is unhygienic and the employees are very unfriendly. The food gave us a stomach ache! Overall, the store doesn't even deserve one star!!! NOT RECOMMENDABLE!

I ordered a kebab. The kebab was really tasty, but I wanted to try the hot sauce, but quickly regretted it. If you want to avoid the worst pain of your life, don't take the hot sauce. Then prefer the avocado sauce. But as I said, it was one of the best kebabs in Bamberg.

12 euros for a plate of kebab is quite cheeky

There was a delicious kebab that we enjoyed eating. I just think the main character could be a little nicer. It makes the customer feel either tired or impatient (I had this feeling for the first time in Marmaris).

It's a shame that this kebab doesn't have consistent quality. It's always a gamble, which I'm slowly getting tired of. The poultry is often sold out, the sauce and cheese tasted a bit fermented today and the so-called "veal" is really the worst thing I've eaten in a long time. The employees are really nice, but the sales seem more chaotic than organized - but I don't want to blame them because, surprisingly, there is always a lot going on.

The food here is great and the staff is very friendly. But it concerns me that they seem to use the same cutlery for the "meat" and the "salad". I'm vegetarian. When serving vegetarian and vegan food, please use different utensils.

They didn’t listen to a single thing we asked for. We asked for a chicken durum without onion and chips on the side. We received beef durum with onion inside. We reminded them it was meant to be without onion, and they looked annoyed and tried to find a way to salvage the food. While they were remaking it, we asked where our fries were. They said it was inside. We said it was meant to be ON the side. We looked at the incorrect durum they made and it was not inside the durum either, so there were zero chips in sight. They remade the chicken durum without onion, and while the new durum was without onion, it came with beef instead of chicken. My friend’s order also came with onion after we said no onion. Keeping in mind, that I write this in English, but we ordered in German - so there was no language barrier. Just people not listening to the customer.

Doner plate ordered for 12€ The meat was tasty, but the fries and meat were very lean on the plate. Half the plate was covered in sauce. Unfortunately there was no bread with the kebab plate. My partner had a lot more toppings on his kebab for €6.50. No recommendation from me. A pity...

We went there for dinner for the first time on a recommendation. We were served very friendly and the food was really tasty. If we're in Bamberg again, we'll be happy to come back 👍🏻

Delicious, fresh food. Lots of great vegetarian and vegan dishes. :) Friendly employees and great boss! The location right at the foot of the Chain Bridge is also ideal.

Oldest kebab snack bar in Bamberg. Delicious kebab but not my absolute favorite. During my last visit I noticed that the taste of the kebab has improved tremendously and I will now go back more often.

Really delicious vegetarian kebab! The vegetarian and vegan selection is particularly great! There are delicious fried vegetables, various sauces and the kebab with lemon tastes particularly fresh! Pure recommendation!

The falafel kebab tasted very good and fresh and was particularly well filled. The garlic sauce tasted a bit strongly like yogurt.

Bester Döner in ganz Bamberg! Esse da Mittlerweile jede Woche einen. Die Knoblauchsoße ist ein Traum. Da schmeckt man den Knoblauch. Das Fleisch ist super und alles sehr sehr frisch und extrem sauber. Die Arbeiter dort sind alle so lieb und nett. Einfach alles perfekt 😊

Ein Traditionshaus mit sehr hohen Standards: Essen frisch und heiß; geschmacklich und optisch perfekt. Schärfe individuell. Z.b. ein Döner ist ein Genuss pur. Sauberkeit, Tempo und Freundlichkeit sind im Strassenverkauf trotz meist großem Andrang beeindruckend. Im Innenbereich ist man wirklich noch Gast. Für Alle die türkisches Essen lieben ist das Marmaris ein Muss. Preise sind angemessen, ok.

Super Essen und sehr netter Service!

Der vegane Vöner ist wirklich sehr lecker! Das Soja ist sehr gut gewürzt und die Portion ist angemessen, es gibt auch eine Auswahl an veganen Soßen (z.B. rote Beete- oder Avocadohummus), was bei einem Dönerladen leider meist noch die Seltenheit ist. Service war auch sehr nett. Kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Grundsätzlich gehe ich hier gerne essen, aber seit einiger Zeit ist mir der deutliche Preisanstieg aufgefallen. 12€ für einen Dönerteller mit Gemüse, der nur schmächtig belegt ist.... mehr Salat als Fleisch und nur paar Augberginen/Zucchini Stücke.... finde ich als Stammgast echt traurig und hoffe auf zunehmende Besserung. Vorher war der Preis noch angemessen und die Portion ebenso. Bitte ändert eure Einstellung zum Kunden. Wäre sehr cool.

Waren dort zum Döner Essen, weil man sich auch reinsetzten kann, die Döner waren mega lecker und sehr frisch, auch diese Art Brötchen liebe ich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und gut drauf. Auf dem Bild ein normaler Döner und im Hintergrund ein Halliumidöner

Aber nur weil wir hungrig waren . Ich kann nur sagen uns hat es leider gar nicht geschmeckt !! ! früher war zwar vieles besser aber ganz sicher auch der Döner bei Marmaris Kebab in Bamberg !! Wir können nur Sagen !! Das Fleisch hatte einen sehr eigenartigen Geruch !! Und war Zäh . Also uns ist es die Nase hoch !! Wir werden jetzt ganz einfach bei anderen mal Probieren !! Mehr als das wir unser Geld los sind und es uns nicht geschmeckt hat Kann uns da auch nicht mehr passieren !! Eigentlich schade !! Wir hielten uns gerade in Bamberg auf und hatten Lust auf einen Döner bekommen. Aufgrund guter Rezensionen sind wir auf das Marmaris Kebaphaus gestoßen. Wir haben jeweils einen Dönerteller mit Fritten und einen mit Gemüse bestellt. Geschmacklich war der Dönerteller sehr gut und für einen Dönerteller sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Preis von 10€ pro Telker ist völlig ok.

I went there with my friends. The staff was so friendly and amazing. We ordered halloumi Döner , chicken Döner and falafel Döner. The taste was so amazing and the best Döner I’ve eaten in Germany. Love it. Must visit in Bamberg 🤩

War über Jahre hinweg der mit Abstand beste Döner weit und breit. Beim letzten Mal wurde ich leider schwer enttäuscht, da sich sowohl Zubereitung als auch Zutaten völlig verändert haben. Rucola und Balsamico-Creme und Zitronensaft kamen neu hinzu, ebenso Rotkohl, das das Dönerbrot zum Aufweichen gebracht hat. Früher wurde bei Bestellung "extra Käse" Käse in dicken Streifen bereits beim Toasten des Dönerbrots hineingelegt, letztes Mal wurde am Ende ein Esslöffel Krümelkäse darübergestreut.

Leider sehr unfreundliche Bedienung, begrüßt die Gäste nicht, sagt nicht, wie viel die Bestellung kostet, man muss dies erraten und hoffen, dass man Wechselgeld zurückerhält; Döner und vegetarischer Döner waren essbar, aber maximal mittelmäßig

Unter den klassischen Kebapimbissen hat Marmaris die beste vegane/vegetarische Auswahl in Bamberg. Es gibt Falafel, Sojafleisch und Haloumikäse. Für Veganer gibt es extra eine Hummussoße. Großer Pluspunkt, dass das Essen in Papier statt in Alufolie verpackt wird und statt Plastiktüten werden Papiertüten benutzt. Ein Stern Abzug gibt es, weil das Personal oft etwas unfreundlich wirkt.

Überbewertet. Maximal durchschnittlicher Döner.

Seit vielen Jahren eine der besten gastronomischen Adressen in Bamberg. Eine wahre Institution. Schmackhafter, gut gewürzter und zarter Kalbsdöner mit frischer Rohkost und selbstgemachten Soßen. Auch die Falafel sind immer frisch und hausgemacht. Auch Veganer und Vegetarier kommen auf ihre Kosten. Freundlicher und schneller Service. Immer wieder ein Genuss!

Ich bin seit 3 Jahren als Student aus Berlin in Bamberg und habe insofern nat. einen hohen Anspruch an Kebab. Der hier ist OK, aber die Saucen sind leider sehr fad, das Fleisch ist gut.
