Ideal restaurant. Good views at the entrance to the old town of Munich. Not bad price.
We ordered a York ham and cheese pizza, with an egg in the middle. It was very good, the flavor was very reminiscent of a good Italian pizza.
Accustomed to less artisanal pizzas, the dough is thin, but there is good quality in the ingredients.
At first they were a bit rude, they were packed and we didn't understand each other in English, but then they were friendly.
We found it strange that those at the next table put some sauces with the pizza and we didn't have the same one, I doubt if they asked for it since almost all the tables had it
The Hofbräu am Oberwiesenfeld is a great inn. The service is excellent, all employees are very friendly and accommodating. The lovely waiter with the longer hair was particularly attentive and polite. Last but not least, the pork crust roast with bread dumplings and cabbage was excellent - the crust was perfect! As a starter we had sausages with sauce, the taste of which is characterized by a variety of herbs. At the end the Bavarian cream with strawberries was a poem. David, the chef, and his team know their craft. I would come back at any time and can absolutely recommend it to everyone. :)
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated in a beautifully decorated setting that perfectly balanced elegance and comfort.
The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor.
The service was outstanding! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They provided excellent recommendations and made sure our dining experience was flawless.
The ambiance was another highlight – whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or a special occasion, this restaurant sets the perfect mood.
Croatian Bavarian, or a Bavarian Croat?
Whatever, the food was extremely delicious. Service really on point, friendly and fast.
If we are here again, we would be happy to come back
Unfortunately very slow service, food disappointing for the price: you pay €13 for rice with some vegetables and beans, the coffee at Starbucks tastes better (I don't usually like Starbucks)
We ordered 1 main course, 1 starter and 1 street food for €35. Already very expensive. However, written 3 times: please NOT spicy! Because of health reasons. And yet all the dishes were spicy. If this is not possible (because sauces have already been pre-cooked, etc.), the staff should be honest and not sell it to the guests. Couldn't eat the food. That doesn't work at all! Big disappointment especially for these high prices.
Fantastic bifteki, large portions, delicious farmer's salad, the zucchini fritters are divine, very friendly service, and a lovely terrace. Greek food doesn't get any better than this.
