Very good food. I live right next door and eat there regularly with a few colleagues. Very fresh, beautiful location, and friendly staff. So, one of the best restaurants in Freimann 👍🏼.

Phew, that was a very special experience that took some getting used to. Overall, it's good if you want to get drunk with your friends before or after a game of street football. Otherwise, definitely not recommended, unless you're purely adventurous and in the mood for a very rustic, quaint atmosphere that borders on antisocial. You could easily overlook the unfriendly and arrogant service if you didn't get stomach problems after the meal. I followed the recommendation and was bitterly disappointed when I was served undercooked, dry meat. We would never eat there again.

I have no doubt that the food would be good. If your kitchen is closed by 20:30 and you don’t accept any credit cards it appears you don’t want/need the business.

Gasthaus nestled in a quiet peripheral area of ​​Munich, where you can eat German and Croatian dishes both indoors and outdoors. The dishes are hearty. The kitchen closes at 9 pm. Payment is cash only.

We were there for lunch. It was quite busy, so we apparently waited a bit longer to order and get our food. But the portions were good, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable. Croatian cuisine, but also a good selection.

Cash only. Get with the times! (and pay your taxes...)

The Gasthaus zum Maibaum is highly recommended. After about five years, we were vacationing nearby again and ate here two evenings in a row. Everyone is very friendly, the food is delicious, and we have no complaints. We'll try not to wait so long to come back next time...

Cevapcici with an unusually dry consistency and unfortunately without kajmak - as I actually know it! Cozy inn with friendly staff, beautiful beer garden which is unfortunately only open from Easter to October, although the weather was already perfect for visiting the beer garden before Easter!

Unfortunately only 2 stars, and that only for the nice staff! The food is (repeatedly!) not commensurate with the price, I'm only rating this in the hope that this might be the case. the quality gets better. Ordered Pola-Pola again today - the Chevapcici, rice and meat were extremely watery and tasted bland. I used to eat here a lot and know that it can be done much better. A consistent lack of soap in the toilets - I know these are difficult times, but you shouldn't skimp on the basics. It's a shame because the location is good and the staff is very nice...

Croatian Bavarian, or a Bavarian Croat? Whatever, the food was extremely delicious. Service really on point, friendly and fast. If we are here again, we would be happy to come back

You can only give this restaurant 5 stars. An evening couldn't be better. Good-humored service, great cuisine. Mom still cooks here. Always happy.. Large portions, really good meat at unbeatable prices, and all in Munich. Thank you very much for everything :)

Words can't even describe how beautiful it was. I liked it so incredibly much. We called an hour in advance and asked if there was still a table available for 6 people. After a moment's consideration, we were accepted. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. We would love to come back when we are in Munich again. We will always remember it in a positive way.

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first. We were invited and you should make the most of everything, so we entered the restaurant with an open mind. A flair of the 70s/80s greets a guest when they enter and the first positive thing immediately comes. We were greeted very nicely by the service and shown to the next room where the small celebration took place. The positive impression of the friendly and competent service staff remained throughout your entire stay and you felt welcome. The food comes as expected, without any frills, without anyone having put too much thought into the presentation. BUT the quality served is very good, the taste and preparation are perfect. How they manage to offer these portions of quality at very reasonable prices is surprising, but very pleasant. Therefore an absolute recommendation if you like Croatian cuisine - the schnitzels also looked very good and were praised!

The Gasthaus zum Maibaum is simply great. Even though the hut is full, food and drink is served in record time. The food is on point, very tasty and very plentiful. You get really full. The waitresses are also friendly and take care of every guest. Conclusion: We like being here.

Friendly staff! But... I actually don't think the food is good value for money. Fish with rice, hardly any taste, no real side dish like vegetables. And there was a curly blonde very long hair in it 😞

The inn is very inconspicuously located between blocks of flats. There is a beer garden in front of the inn. We ate here in the evening because we were going to a concert at Zenith afterwards. The service was super friendly and very quick, the food was good and the price/performance ratio was hard to beat. You can hardly eat anywhere else that is so good and cheap. 2 large, wholesome portions, salad and 2 drinks for under €40 is really mega. Payment was only possible in cash, which was ok for us, but perhaps we should reconsider accepting card payments.

Very good food and very cheap!! Large schnitzel is only €12.90. Čevapi good, juicy and spicy with "real" Ayvar - like in Croatia! Price/performance is great, and the two young landlords are very nice, personable, friendly. Inn is a clear recommendation.

Interesting neighborhood restaurant. FYI you seat yourself, and the waiter/waitress will come to you. Some English, but staff are friendly enough.

Exactly what I was looking for in this kind of restaurant. Home made, fresh and heart warming food, warm welcoming service without any fussing, and a cold, german beer to go with it. There is nothing to complain about, the cevapcici were crunchy outside, moist inside and beautifully spiced and seasoned, the ajvar was sweet, not hot, and tasty. Pilav was delicious, the rice not mushy and the flavour great. Portion was really big, and I'm actually glad it's located off the beaten path because I get to walk off all that marvelous food.

That's how it has to be when you go to the "Yugoslavian". It's probably not politically correct - but it is true. Always great service, the food tastes how it should taste and is always good! And that’s still true 5 years later 😀

Very inexpensive dishes with good quality

Had salad with turkey strips, unfortunately the turkey was tough and dry. It was a simple salad made of stale-tasting cucumbers, potato salad, greens and coleslaw overall according to school grades grade 5 The waitress asked if it was tasty. I said no, nothing came instead of a Gudi, it's a shame once is too much. Didn't finish the salad.

Not so hard. Meat kebabs very, very, very dry. Pancakes very, very, very fatty. I'm not going there anymore.

Unfortunately my meat wasn't fully cooked, but the food itself tasted good. Our waitress had better things to do and looked after private friends and no longer showed any consideration for us after we said we wanted to pay.

Good cuisine at down-to-earth prices. Changes to supplements are no problem. Nice service. We'll definitely come back.

A nice restaurant with a really great beer garden. Very friendly staff (it's a family business). We had known the place for a long time, but we hadn't been there for a while. You can certainly say a varied menu (German/Croatian), everything made fresh, including the spaetzle. You can see from our stars that it is worth a visit. By the way, the portions are great for good eaters and the prices can't be beat. Try it out, you'll definitely be amazed.

We came pretty late around 9 PM. The service was friendly, and on top. the soup could be better, the main course plate for two was amazing. The portions were big, only the soup was small. The atmosphere is friendly and silent.

Home cooking from mom is also available. Super nice and always have kind words, even when it's really crowded
