Botanista Café Club in München

We stopped at this place at 5 p.m. the hot chocolate is made without milk but with water, the orange cinnamon tea is without tea just hot cinnamon water and 1 troanche of orange, the mate tea is different from what I usually drink! In short, expensive for what it is. Avoid!

Completely overhyped and just plain unfriendly and slow.

For the price it was outrageous, you got dirty glass and dirty cutlery.

Very charming place and original and excellent dishes. However, we feel that the tables at the back of the room can be forgotten when there are people in the restaurant.

In my opinion, the bowls are pretty bland and bland. Had a halved strawberry, four raspberries and a few blueberries Also two cashews and the rest was granola. So if you don't take the "botanista version" with extras for around €4 then you don't get much for your €11/12. To be honest, the service is super uncharming and annoying. Service with a smile is not something that is practiced… at least not today.

Overhyped place with absolutely bad food. The waffle was dry, the porridge was run of the mill. Coffee was OK. Not again.

So alternatively you have to have breakfast beforehand and not go out hungry or poor afterwards. 15€+ for a waffle with toppings. This is just a store for the eyes. Ambiance is nice. Card payment only.

Absolutely worth a visit! Despite the store being full, the service staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout. The waiting times were also short. The food was simply delicious, especially if you want to make sure you eat a balanced diet despite having a delicious breakfast. You really don't have to miss out on anything here!

We were there for the first time yesterday, at my wife's request. Super delicious food (everything without sugar and homemade), absolutely friendly service and the cozy atmosphere invites you to linger. Even though the store was completely full, we didn't have to wait long for food and drinks. We'll definitely be back!!!

Place is expensive for what we got. The service was terrible, our food came out cold. It took over an hour and a half from when we sat down til when we got our food. We were one of the first groups here and everyone else that came after us got served before us. It took us 20 minutes to track down the waitress to pay for our food.

The decor is beautifully designed, everything is very aesthetic. However, a bit inconvenient, as there is a table directly in front of the dishes that are sold there and you are disturbed while eating. Unfortunately, the food looks better than it tastes. (unfortunately the waffle was super dry) But the coffee is very good!

We were here for lunch; Unfortunately we had to wait forever for food. The Mexican Bowl was a large portion, but unfortunately had a completely bland taste.

Lemonade was very small and tasteless. They only add few pieces of selected addons to bowls. They are overpriced for what you get. Toilets were dirty

Unfortunately quite disappointing, despite the high rating. Our meals had a very nice presentation, but were very bland, almost no taste. Portions were quite small as well. Also general lack of attention to details, the table was dirty from the previous guest when we arrived, but was not cleaned, and every plate was chipped. The place per se is very cute and with a nice atmosphere, but for the prices they have, definitely not worth it.

Waited 45 minutes for food, the eggs were cold! The food itself would be good, but the portions were too small. The waitress has to be spoken to about cutlery, milk and sugar are not brought automatically and you are still looked at askance if you want "real cow's milk". You have to make a reservation on the weekend otherwise you will be sent home

We had to queue to get a table here but it was worth it, good food, cute place, great coffee and juices. It's not cheap but the prices are reasonable.

Visiting Munich for a few days and decided to have brunch here. It is an incredible place, vegan-friendly dishes and all while being healthy and extremely delicious! If I have time I will definitely come back!

Bad food and insane waiting times. We waited total of a bit over an 1 hour from start of queueing to food being served. Every table outside had reservation plaque but in the lengthy time of our waiting we didn’t see anyone come with reservation come. We counted 7 empty tables. The Florentine Waffle wasn’t particularly tasty, it was leaving bitter aftertaste. Some sprouts and salad leaves were rotting. Not a particularly large portion either. The Apple & Cinnamon lemonade tasted like bottled Apfelschorle with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Overall wasted time and money.

I had Florentine Waffles and the egg was overcooked. The service was slow (they seemed to be understaffed). The bottomless mimosa was delicious! Highly recommend it!

I must say, I was quite disappointed about the place in general. Even with a reservation it is not guaranteed that you can enjoy a mice meal in a relaxed environment. The place is small and quite packed with tables and people, so the people sitting at one end couldn’t get out unless we moved out of our tables. Aside from that, The food was good, the eggs were nicely cooked and juicy and the flavours create a nice blend. It is indeed healthy and savory, little salt, pepper, and herbs are more on the enhanced side. However, I did not find it particularly special or unique, however, the menu is quite diverse and I find the selection very appetizing. Heads up! Their orange-ginger juice is fantastic! Ginger is on the very strong side (which I enjoy) so be careful. The service, I’m not quite sure I enjoyed it very much, but it could be due to the overwhelming amount of people.

In principle there is a very pleasant atmosphere in the shop and the menu is quite diverse. The staff seemed friendly and the breakfast definitely impressed me with the taste. Unfortunately, the store was very busy, which led to long waiting times.

I had high expectations given the high rating. However staff are rude if you don’t have a reservation and are a tourist of the city. Menu is very limited especially if you want a savoury option as only 3 available. Menu is all healthy sugar free, fat free etc. and is very over priced given the final product which is very average at best. Wouldn’t return.

Unfortunately service was very careless. Something went wrong with our order, so we had to wait over an hour for our food (at least it was tasty and filling). The employees accommodated us at the end with a good discount. Unfortunately, some of the plates are already completely worn out and the tables could also be prepared more hygienically for the guests (see photos).

My absolute favorite café here in Munich :) Super friendly staff, you always feel very welcome and special requests are also taken into account 🧡 In addition, the dishes are fresh and healthy and there is something for everyone 😊 The smoothie bowls are my absolute favorite and are beautifully presented with lots of delicious toppings :) I always love coming!

Unfortunately really disappointing. We had to wait in line for ages, even though there were often obviously free tables. The waitresses also seemed more than relaxed and clearly took their time. Food was really just okay, portions so small that we each had to order a second one. So for such a good review, I really expected more. Too expensive for the quality and performance.

Menu focused on healthy dishes, mostly vegetarian and sugar-free. “Aussie Brekky” was not very special (esp for its price) and egg was a bit too runny for my taste (egg white incl). The banana bread was very good though. Had higher expectations overall due to the high rating.

Overrated cafe/restaurant in the typical Glockenbach layout and with a corresponding audience from the latte macchiato group to the wannabe Instagram influencers who eat extremely healthy. The concept fits somehow, the number of visitors speaks for it. However, I was here this afternoon for the second and definitely last time. As was the case the first time, the waiting times due to the uncoordinated service and, above all, the completely overwhelmed kitchen were totally out of the question. 20 minutes until the order is placed, an hour until lunch is served, which is beautifully presented but was not entirely convincing in terms of taste. The whole thing, garnished with horrendous prices for food and drinks, simply makes it uneven. If the waitresses complain that the owners don't show up too often, that speaks for itself. Not to mention similar impressions from other guests in recent months. Just a side note: Drinks are served nicely in Weck glasses, which unfortunately have to do without a calibration mark. It would also be nice, in the interests of the guests, if that changed. The legislator would certainly be happy too...

Great cafe for a nice breakfast! We had reserved a table, without a reservation you may have to wait. The staff is very nice and the service is relatively quick. Four of us had brunch here for our birthdays. Since we couldn't order immediately after taking a seat, it took 20 minutes to order. After another 15 minutes the drinks finally arrived. Unfortunately, the food took over an hour to arrive and was almost cold when it arrived. Some guests around us had their food 10 minutes after ordering and others also waited a long time. Even if the café is full, this shouldn't be the case. We didn't get a proper apology either.

Interior beautiful. We were left on the outside. The atmosphere here wasn't great. Chairs uncomfortable and wobbly. Food came very quickly and was very tasty.

I had breakfast here with a friend this morning and we were thrilled. I can't understand all the negative reviews, especially since you don't just sit down in a café yourself, it's best to just ask the staff first if there's space. We reserved a table two days in advance and were able to sit down in the beautifully designed interior. Even though it was busy, the service staff was super friendly and immediately available to answer any questions or requests. Unfortunately, it can happen that as a couple with a baby you are sent away. My wife recently visited this cafe and really enjoyed it. When we sat down at a free table (without a reservation mark) on a Saturday lunchtime, our order wasn't taken after 5 minutes, but the waitress sent us away with the explanation that the table was unfortunately already reserved but she had forgotten to put up the sign. We were not offered an alternative place. Well, thank you! Unfortunately, the waitress' handling of the situation was very poor and unprofessional. Unfortunately we won't be coming back :)

If you want to watch people take 1000 selfies, then you've come to the right place 🥲 nice location but too narrow and overcrowded, prices are very high and the staff is very slow.

We were aggressively harassed and insulted by a guest. The staff completely stayed out of it after we asked for help and said we should sit somewhere else. An outrage. The drinks were normal by all measures. Wouldn't go there again as bad things have to happen before you get help. As a result, very bad ambience and not good service.

Awful service.. awful food... never come back again

I'm actually a huge fan of the botanista and come here regularly. Unfortunately, the bowls didn't really taste good for the second time. The protein powder in the yogurt bowl was (as far as I know) briefly changed and the light choco bowl was unfortunately bitter the last time. The customer service in the background has also declined significantly. I've tried several times to get the nutritional information for months, but at a certain point I was ignored or no longer responded to. I know that the nutritional values ​​basically exist, I was told that by email. It's such a shame that it has faded so much. I'm happy to keep coming but I hope things get better again 🙏🏼

The restaurant and ambience is very nice, whether inside or outside. The service was a bit slow even though there wasn't much going on and the food was unfortunately very unseasoned. The concept is healthy food, but for me that doesn't mean it should automatically taste boring.

3.9 euros for a Choco Milk makes no sense.
