It was delicious and comfortable. And the tram is super nice. After the interior renovation, it's even more comfortable, and the seats are incredibly comfortable!

The food is truly outstanding, freshly prepared, and delicious. The hosts are extremely friendly and served us very courteously, even though we arrived very late due to a long journey and several traffic jams. The restaurant is very tastefully and modernly decorated. If I lived in Munich, I would definitely eat here more often. I'd be happy to come back at the next opportunity.

We always feel very comfortable here. The food and value for money are excellent, and the ambiance, especially outside on the terrace, is fantastic. What's particularly noteworthy, however, is the superbly friendly service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Greek restaurant Lykavittos, and I have to say it was an all-around fantastic experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the decor exudes true Greek charm, and you immediately feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic—from fresh mezedes to a perfectly grilled main course. You can tell the cooking here is done with love and care. The service was also excellent: very attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. You can just tell that Lykavittos is a true family business. The warmth and attention to detail are palpable in every moment—be it in the food or in the way the guests interact. All in all, a highly recommended place, and I would love to return.

Greek restaurant in a less touristy part of Munich. Very personable staff, friendly and cheerful, as you'd expect from a Greek restaurant. The food is delicious; the tzatziki and suvlaki are highly recommended. All in all, a well-rounded visit; anyone craving Greek food will definitely find what they're looking for here.

Pleasant outdoor seating. The service is very attentive. However, the portions are a bit small considering the price. In terms of taste, the grilled baby calamari, for example, could have been better, but the rice was very tasty. I'd happily go back for a drink, but less so for a meal.

A truly honest place, unlike other Greek restaurants in Munich when it comes to the food. It's fantastic to sit outside in the summer. I drank 12 Uzo and paid 3 Uzo. I'll be back.

We had a bit of everything, and none of it tasted good. I'm definitely not a picky eater, but everything was of really poor quality. Fish and seafood that tasted bitter, bone-dry meat, limp and tasteless vegetables... Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it. A restaurant you shouldn't eat at isn't a restaurant at all!!!

We went casually for a business dinner, it was raining outside so no veranda, the place inside is simple and nice, the food is excellent, the dishes are beautiful, good and subscriptions, good wine too. The service is professional and the owners are very nice. We ended with excellent Greek music and lots of joy. Highly recommended

Likavitos - does it mean "Welcome to Greece?" :-) My wife, our two dogs and I live not far from Likavitos, close to Untergiesinger Hans-Mieleich-Platz. And although there are also competing Greek restaurants, we all have to say: Hey, you can ALL forget them compared to Likavitos! But first things first... The four of us like to be guests here often because we are still happily welcomed with a warm “Kalimera” / “Kalispera”. The small and fine, tastefully furnished restaurant invites you to eat, drink or simply celebrate with friends. Culinary options cater for everyone here: the menu ranges from meat-rich cuisine to vegetarian dishes. There is something for everyone who enjoys a tasty, traditional Greek meal. We were particularly impressed by the very tasty starters. Or should it be a gyros in Metaxa sauce? Yummy! The desserts are to die for and we have often been surprised with an insider tip from the staff and have never been disappointed. Extra requests were never a problem and were always happily fulfilled by the very friendly staff. Speaking of staff: As already written above, you immediately feel welcome here and you quickly feel like you are among friends. It is probably the friendly, warm Greek nature that particularly lives here. Even when the store is full, you only see friendly faces and your wishes are fulfilled immediately. In summer, the beautifully designed outdoor area on Hans-Mielich-Platz invites you to enjoy and celebrate. But you should be quick or make a reservation, especially in summer, because getting a good spot without advance notice is almost impossible. Tip: The lunch menu covers many of the main menu items, but you can save a few euros if you eat here at this time. And in Corona times, the entire repertoire of the menu was available to pick up. Simply call and either pick it up or have it brought by a delivery service. That's how quickly you can have Greece at home! ;-) One thing that makes us very happy as dog owners is that you are always welcome here, especially with your little dogs. So not only we but also our little "fur devils" get their money's worth, because there are always treats for them. As I said - there is a lot of competition here, but you can forget it compared to Likavitos. We are already looking forward to the next visit and say tzamás to the joys!

An unforgettable evening with the best Greek restaurant! 🇬🇷 Discovered this fantastic Greek completely by chance – and what luck! We were out with eight girls on a normal Tuesday evening to toast our friend's divorce. At our original meeting point everything was already full. We came across this place via Google while strolling around. And what can I say? It was just perfect! The food? Delicious! The Aperol Spritz and the white wine? Top! But the best thing was the atmosphere: a birthday was being celebrated at the next table, and at some point we were all dancing together, throwing napkins through the air - and the boss even got carried away and threw a few plates out of the kitchen in style. Nice restaurant and very nice waiter who knows how to do it. Unfortunately I think the food is a bit below average. It wasn't very seasoned and could have stayed on the grill a little longer, just like the fries in the deep fryer. To be honest, I don't think it's okay to charge 1.50 for a supplement change. The restaurant isn't that big and I don't think there are so many reorders here that it overwhelms the kitchen and the service. However, when it comes to mashed sweet potatoes, I'm not surprised that guests would prefer another side dish. Therefore 2 stars deducted for the food.

Greek to feel good! We go here regularly, the team is friendly, accommodates you even when there is a lack of space and takes the time to chat. This is how customer loyalty works. The portions are large enough, although more of the meat than the fish. Very tasty garlic bread and also better wines (not just standard ones), the first wine on the menu (around 10 euros for 0.2 L) is brilliant.

We ate at Taverna Likavitos in the early evening and ordered the mezze plate as a starter, gyros and the grill plate as the main course. The food was really great and special requests were responded to very courteously and nicely. Overall, the service was great, very accommodating and we had a great time. The atmosphere in the restaurant was simply great. You could see how everyone enjoyed it and how much fun the people there had with their job. We'll definitely be back! Thanks!
