Taverna Likavitos - griechisches Restaurant in München

Were there yesterday in a small group, reservation went well, friendly service, Augustiner beer and great menu. Number 54: Gyros and baby calamari were tasted, everything was delicious, the tzatziki was a dream. We'd love to come back. Please note that only EC cards are accepted.

Happy environment, Service is very fast, meat is very tasty and well prepared. The waiters are smiling, polite and having a lot of fun. I recommend it with 10 out of 10

Greek to feel good! We go here regularly, the team is friendly, accommodates you even when there is a lack of space and takes the time to chat. This is how customer loyalty works. The portions are large enough, although more of the meat than the fish. Very tasty garlic bread and also better wines (not just standard ones), the first wine on the menu (around 10 euros for 0.2 L) is brilliant.

Unfortunately the food wasn't fresh. Tasted okay, but at the table way too quickly. The anchovies were hard and sat like stones in the stomach.

The moussaka was so so good!!! And the fish as well The Greek salad is not worth the price in my opinion but was still a nice add as a side, but would definitely come back for the moussaka and atmosphere. Great service too. The wasps are a little annoying in the summer, but that’s a Germany wide problem. we still sat outside

Delicious food good quality Friendly service

We ate at Taverna Likavitos in the early evening and ordered the mezze plate as a starter, gyros and the grill plate as the main course. The food was really great and special requests were responded to very courteously and nicely. Overall, the service was great, very accommodating and we had a great time. The atmosphere in the restaurant was simply great. You could see how everyone enjoyed it and how much fun the people there had with their job. We'll definitely be back! Thanks!

Hungry, we spontaneously stumbled into Taverna Likavitos after having to leave another restaurant because card payment was not possible - luckily for us. Here we could not only pay by card and satisfy our hunger at a late hour; The food was very good, the ouzo was on the house and there was a piece of cake (from a local Greek pastry shop) on top, which was served at the next table for the birthday party. We stumbled out again, comfortably full and inspired by the hospitality (and the ouzo).

Called to make a reservation and was told “come by, no problem at all”. On site the motto was “wait a moment, something will become available soon”. We were led to the table after 5 minutes, we had just sat down and then another waitress asked us to get up again in a very rude manner because other people had been waiting for a long time.

Update from May 26th: Since I haven't received a response to my email with my feedback from our visit for a month now, I unfortunately have to adjust my rating. The prices have gone up, but that's the case everywhere, but I think it's a shame that the portions are getting smaller. When I ordered I asked for a lot of tzatziki, but there was just as much as usual. The duet dish only had 8 halves of small potatoes, the portion for the others at the table was also small and all three of us were still hungry. I then asked the waiter to come over and as I was walking over he asked "some more tzatziki" to which I said I'd be happy and please add some bread. We then got full, but then we were shocked when we paid. For the small refill of tzatziki, €5.50 would be charged. I think that's a lot for a spoonful of tzatziki, especially since we didn't order it as an additional dish but as an extra to fill us up. The waiter was very friendly and the atmosphere was great as always, but I was very disappointed that the portions were very small this time and then there was the additional price. I hope this is just a temporary blip, I would be happy if it was as good as before and I could then adjust my rating again. Original review: A fantastic Greek restaurant that I have been visiting for years and can highly recommend. This week I celebrated my birthday and it was a great evening. The whole team is absolutely friendly and accommodating, great cozy atmosphere and the food is fantastic. The starters are highly recommended. We were three adults and two children. Friendly staff and good service. We really enjoyed the apps. Had the fried chips and halloumi. The mains were good.

Thanks for the service. Nice atmosphere and good flavors. However, we were not impressed at all by the fact that there was no credit card payment for us Greeks at the time when you were accepted by another customer, a German... It would be good if it didn't happen. And unfortunately we saw it in other Greek restaurants, which we preferred to visit because we love our cuisine and to support Greek businesses.

The food, price quality balance, friendliness are superb. It could be a little more airy. But in general, you can always come.

Overall a good Greek restaurant. However, side dishes ordered differently were not accepted. When I asked that these were wrong, I was told they would be provided. Unfortunately these didn't come. There was supposed to be an ouzo as compensation, which never happened. We requested the invoice twice and waited over 30 minutes for it. The staff was very nice, but a little unavailable. It's a shame because the food itself was very tasty.

Little greek restaurant in Untergiesing-Harlaching (when the weather is good with a small outdoor area on the Hans-Mielich-Platz). Very friendly/child-friendly staff and delicious, typical greek food. Nice atmosphere inside. I've been there several times enjoying the time and the food, often with family and friends who are always enjoy too going there. They offer Take away too. I like the Grill Plate and the greek Joghurt the most.

You won't find a better place to eat with friends. I celebrated my birthday here and the owners and waiters are very friendly, it doesn't feel like Munich. Good food and atmosphere of 10.

After Dimi showed us our table, he immediately showed the right nose and offered us a round of light beer. The food didn't take long to arrive and was really delicious. The restaurant offers a homely, cozy atmosphere and the bouzouki in the background adds to the Greek ambience. All in all, highly recommended!

Yesterday evening we spent a very nice evening with our extended family at “Likavitos”! The food was delicious, the portions were sufficient and the service was excellent (super-fast, attentive and very friendly)! We'd love to come back when we're in Munich again! Thank you, Anastasia and Giorgos!

We always enjoy coming to Likavitos because we have always eaten very well and have always received extremely friendly and prompt service. The whole staff is very attentive and nice. There are lots of delicious dishes on the extensive menu. Among other things, the fish platter. The tzatziki is to die for! The portions are large. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant is attractively decorated. There is also a small side room that is ideal for small celebrations. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a delicious meal on the sunny terrace with a good glass of wine. The children also have enough space to play there. Update: April 2024 The gyro was very tasty and crispy. As always, the service was very attentive and extremely friendly. Keep it up!

My wife and I received a very, very friendly welcome. A table in the next room was romantic and very beautiful. A little quieter than in the main room. Romantic candlelight and extremely attentive service from Dimitri made the evening very nice. The dishes were very tasteful and delicious. The fresh salad with the sweet yet spicy dressing was absolutely brilliant. Deserved 5 STARS! We would love to come back 😊

The food on the normal menu is very good, especially the Jouvetsi, but ask about the daily specials, some of which are even better. The lamb shoulder with vegetables was awesome, a taste explosion, thanks for the tip from the waiter. I would love to come back

Good reception. Good table service and quick service. The salads have a very Italian touch. Pay attention to what characterizes a Greek salad?: Good olives, an olive oil to love, feta and super fresh tomatoes, etc. But not here. Lots of Italian balsamic, more leafy greens. Lamb wasn't completely tender. I would say 87%. My Greek colleague complained about the gyros. The meat is nothing special.

Small but super nice and welcoming place, it's like taking a trip for a few hours to some Greek island, forgetting you're in Monaco. This place is our favorite Greek restaurant in Munich! There is no way you are not impressed with the energy of waitresses, delicious meals and the tavern atmosphere!

So lecker, dass essen. Von den Vorspeisen zum Hauptgang sehr sehr lecker!! Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Man kann auch mit EC Karte zahlen, das ist etwas falsch im Internet. Personal sehr freundlich.
