Oh my god. The appetizer salad with its vinaigrette dressing was sent back untouched (I've never done that before). The eggplant ordered as a side dish was more like eggplant puree. The main course, calf's liver with onions, was okay. The service, cleanliness, and restroom were beyond words. Visited as part of a company dinner.

We drove a long way because I really like this restaurant – and it was absolutely worth it again. The fish platter for two was outstanding, top quality, well worth the price. Highly recommended – I'm completely satisfied.

Update 2025: They still maintain their high standards. Always delicious, fresh food, generous portions. The staff is always smiling and dedicated. A complimentary glass of ouzo from the company is provided to every guest as a thank you for their visit. There's ample parking opposite the restaurant.

We often take a little drive to enjoy a leisurely gyros to go there ☺️......The manager, Theo, is very, very friendly and welcoming 👍🏻👌🏻🙂✨. I always feel welcome and will gladly continue to come. Very friendly, reasonable prices, lunch menus, parking

This was my first time here, and I was very pleasantly surprised. As a blind woman, I received a warm welcome and was shown to my table without any fuss. The service was very attentive and they checked on me regularly. The food was very good, and there was too much for me. I can recommend this restaurant. The dishes were fantastic, and even with my disability, I felt supported and accepted. Unfortunately, that's rather rare these days. Thank you!

A classic Greek restaurant with very attentive and friendly service, large portions, but also typical Munich prices: 3 drinks and 3 main courses for €100 – unfortunately, almost normal for Munich. Still a good place to go.

2023: Very friendly restaurant with a lovely outdoor area. Unfortunately, the owner has become very frugal after the coronavirus pandemic. The side salad, which used to consist of lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, pepperoni, olives, and cucumber, is now just green leaf lettuce. The decorative olive in the tzatziki has also been omitted. The souvlaki skewers have become shorter, and the garlic pita bread is now covered with some kind of unpleasant tomato-garlic paste instead of garlic. Neither of us liked it at all. It's called pita with garlic, after all, not pita with tomato-garlic paste, or whatever it was. We used to enjoy coming here, but now we're waiting until next year. Of course, some restaurateurs have had a tough time recently. However, we were both on short-time work and had to cut back. And now we're simply not willing to pay high prices for smaller portions of inferior quality. It's a shame. Update 2025: We gave the restaurant another chance this year. Unfortunately, it's still far from the quality it once was. We were once again very dissatisfied and will not be visiting this restaurant again in the future.

Unfortunately, it's extremely dirty. Stains on the cloth in the bread basket, and the salt and pepper shakers are completely filthy. The drinking glasses are also completely cloudy, and the panes haven't been cleaned in years. The side salad is served without dressing; instead, there's vinegar and supposedly olive oil on the table—although not the real thing, as stated on the bottle. If you look at the bottle, it has a best-before date of 2022 and is filled with inferior oil to deceive customers. The food is absolutely nothing special and not worth the price. Unfortunately, there was never any staff around to ask questions while you were eating. In the end, when everything was cleared away, you had no motivation to mention it because you just wanted to leave.

Absolutely overwhelmed, unfriendly place! You wait a very long time for food and drinks. They're also unfriendly. The service staff are very unfriendly when it's busy. They're inattentive, and if you say anything as a paying customer, you're verbally blocked in a rude and childish manner. The wait time for the first order is 25 minutes, then another 15 minutes for the first drink, and a total of over 1.5 hours for the main course!! NEVER AGAIN

The music was very loud and we asked the waiter to turn it down a little. "We're not a restaurant, we're a pub!" Instead of the retsina we ordered, we got something different. The calculation was wrong! Never again!

Wanted to park my car after driving for 5 hours to have something to eat with my family. I had only just turned off the car when the waiter/owner came shouting at me and told me I was not allowed to stand there. When I asked, a little surprised, if he could tell me where I could park, he said there somewhere and pointed down the street. But there was no parking there. We then drove on to another location to have dinner there.

We arrived and didn't feel welcome. All of the food we ordered would have been available in the Metro refrigerated department. A schnitzel shaped meat the size of a burger patty with a handful of fries for just under 9 euros! 3 dumplings for 8 euros. "Garlic bread" = 4 cold baguette slices with a touch of garlic... An insult to every Greek Eggplant paste and tuna paste... Tupperware from Kugler's "Feinkost"... The beer garden used to be nice... the whole area seems run down and nothing has changed on the interior since the 90s. The staff is not service-oriented. All in all: a big disappointment... For the 52 euros I would have cooked better at home...

I ordered food and it was delivered really promptly. It was a large quantity and really tasty! There was also an extra baguette bread. I can not complain! Can really recommend it to everyone.

First of all, the food is very good, comes hot and relatively quickly. You notice the service, but the ambience hasn't changed in the last few years. What really struck me as negative is that the Poseidon is now completely priced out. There is no meal under 20€. And this price simply doesn't fit the whole package. Greek restaurants in the city (paying much less rent, with the same quality) still offer dishes from €15. I'm more likely to visit these restaurants now, even if they're further away. The Poseidon is out for now. I just don't see the value of €50 for just 2 dishes and 2 drinks. At this price I'm just missing the starter. And the cheap ouzo doesn't make up for that either.

The Poseidon has been around for decades, which speaks for the quality of the house. Attentive service even when it's busy, cozy atmosphere, the prices have unfortunately been adjusted to reflect the VAT increase. Still recommended for a cozy evening with friends.

Greek shop like many others. Food was a disaster. I don't think I've eaten a worse gyro in my life. I don't think it was even gyros. Looked like a piece of sole. A disaster in terms of taste. Lettuce has also seen better days. Waiter was superficially nice. All in all not recommended at all. By far the worst Greek restaurant I visited in Germany, and I went to a different one every week.

It was my favorite restaurant for many years and I was a guest here with my partner at least every 14 days. Unfortunately, after I lost it, I wasn't able to come back for a long time due to all the memories. After a conversation with my magical neighbor and realizing that we both really appreciate and miss Poseidon, we spontaneously decided to visit. It was almost as if time had stood still. The pleasant atmosphere and the great feeling of well-being were immediately there again and the joy that the innkeeper remembered my favorite drink and food despite the long time. As usual, the cuisine was very, very tasty and the portions were more than sufficient. I and we had a wonderful evening that we will definitely repeat soon. I too will visit this really wonderful restaurant more often again with its good cuisine and friendly staff. Many many thanks.

Schöner Außenbereich, der erst nach Eintritt sichtbar wird. Die netten Ober haben einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Es gab Sitzkissen auf den Bänken. Auf den Stühlen leider nicht. Die habe ich vermisst. Großer Parkplatz direkt gegenüber.

Vom Ambiente her sehr schön im Biergarten. Das Essen war im großen und Ganzen gut. Das Essen und die Getränke wurden sehr schnell serviert. Danach war keinerlei Service mehr da. Der Kellner hat uns mehr oder weniger nicht mehr wahrgenommen. Keine Frage nach eventuell einem weiteren Wunsch für Getränke oder eventuell Nachtisch. Andere Gäste die schon bekannt waren wurden sehr gut bedient. Die benutzten Teller standen ewig lange. Da haben sich die Fliegen und Wespen gefreut. Wir eher nicht. Nach langer Wartezeit und Bitte um die Rechnung, dauerte es ebenfalls wieder länger. Darüber waren wir nicht begeistert und werden kein zweites Mal das Poseidon besuchen. Schade. So hätte ich mir meinen Geburtstag in Begleitung nicht vorgestellt.

Ein Grieche, wie man (ich) sich einen Griechen vorstellt: Üppige Portionen, leckere Fleischgerichte und ein sehr herzlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Weiteres Plus: Viele Parkplätze, Platz auch für Gruppen
