Greek Souvlaki in München

It tastes just like in Greece! We happened to drive down the street and saw the place, and it was absolutely fantastic! There were three of us, but we ate like six! 🤣 The gyros, souvlaki, and kebab were all delicious. But the best part was the warm and friendly service, the kind you only get in Greece. A heartfelt recommendation! We'll definitely be back! Greek Kebab 4 life 🫶🏼🥹

The gyros tasted very good, and the ingredients seemed to be of high quality. However, the portion was quite small for the price (€7). To really feel full, you'd practically have to order two, which I think is a bit excessive for street food. For that price, I would expect a larger and more filling portion, similar to a doner kebab. I was also disappointed that the restaurant didn't have a restroom for customers, which I think is important for a food stall.

Great, perfect for €13.90, big plates of meat and everything, just no music 😃 but it's 10 times better than thunder.

I've seen a lot, but this takes the cake! We used to come here quite often, and everything was always great. But today we noticed that the entire team is new, which is a shame, but these things happen. But why on earth are the gyro pita breads for takeaway getting smaller and smaller? They used to be a decent size for the price! That's one way to do it. Prices stay the same, but the portions keep getting smaller! Seriously, if you want, raise the price by a euro, but leave the portion size as it was! Unbelievable!

Good evening We ordered about an hour ago And we had the biggest disappointment we could have from a Greek restaurant When someone pays, they should also be happy with the amount of food, in this case we can't say that. Not even my three-year-old son would have had enough.

The food was delicious! The staff were helpful and friendly. It was just a bit too cold in the room.

I used to enjoy this place. Unfortunately nowadays it’s 80% fries and onions in the gyros pita with several pieces of gyros put as garnish. I didn’t want to believe and gave it several chances but the price does not justify the disappointment anymore.

The food is absolutely delicious and the people are very friendly. The only slight drawback is that it was quite cold inside during the winter. However, I can easily forgive that because everything else is truly excellent.

Nice place, excellent value for money, the portion would easily cost 5-6 euros more in any other restaurant, definitely worth a visit. I'd love to give it 6 stars, but the food was almost cold except for the fries, though it still tasted good!

It would be so much better if the bread were homemade. Unfortunately, it tastes exactly like the bread from Aldi. I wasn't too keen on the mayonnaise and mustard sauce; maybe they were out of tzatziki.

We are visiting from New York and loved the aesthetic while driving by-we decided to stop and it was one of our best meals in Germany! The owner was super friendly and explained how they make everything in-house—I love that level of care they put into their food. Top tier! We wanted to go back today (Aug 15) but it apparently is a major Bavarian holiday and everything is closed -so sad 😢. hopefully we’ll be back or maybe they’ll come to New York and open a place there! 😍

It has little to do with gyros: three cubes of meat with fries. Way too expensive. A 0.3 liter beer costs €4.20 on Rosenheimer Straße, not Maximilianstraße.

The best meal I had in Munich. I got the chicken souvlaki plate and it was absolutely delicious! It came with pita bread, 3 skewers, salad, and fries. The owner was the nicest man ever, he refilled my water bottle and didn’t accept my tip afterwards. Highly recommend!!!

Greek Souvlaki is a recommendation we'd recommend to anyone who enjoys hearty food! The meat is expertly grilled, immediately reminiscent of vacation... Mmmm! Whether it's souvlaki or gyros, both are perfectly grilled, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! Great craftsmanship! The halloumi plate is also exactly what you'd expect – crunchy, salty, delicious! The salad is exceptionally fresh. The tzatziki deserves its own 5 stars and you should order it separately to fully enjoy it. Tzatziki! Tzatziki! Tzatziki! Pita bread is your best friend and is served in abundance with the menu. The decor may be spartan (pun intended ;), but the main focus is on the grill, which is guaranteed to be blazing up on your next visit. 🔥 The same friendly warmth comes from the service. I went to Munich with two friends and we visited the place. Staff was very friendly and the food was delicious.

The souvlaki and in general everything we have tried was very delicious!!! The prices are affordable and the staff are above all people!!!! The owner of the shop is a kind man, very polite and helpful!!!

I wanted to share my experience with this good restaurant. The gentleman who works at the cashier was so nice and hospitable. He literally made my day with his nice gesture. I totally recommend the place, the food is so tasty and every time I was passing by that neighbourhood I made sure to stop and eat there. You won’t be disappointed!

Really delicious souvlaki, everything super fresh and well-seasoned. The pita is nice and warm, and the meat is incredibly juicy. You can tell the food is cooked with love. Pavlos is really nice and served us very friendly – ​​we immediately feel welcome. This certainly won't be the last time I've been here. Highly recommended if you're in Haidhausen and fancy something Greek.

Good food, but unfortunately the service is somehow overwhelmed or doesn't understand what you want due to the loud music in the shop. I ordered chicken gyros with tzatziki instead of yellow sauce, then was given a gyros pita, told that I didn't want a pita but a full gyros, then that was done, but with pork instead of chicken, which I didn't notice until later during the meal. And somehow the card machine is "broken" every time I'm there.

Lovely chef and lovely food!!! We had a generous portion of Greek salad with huge feta blocks and fresh veggies, pita and we even got a plate of amazing gyros on the house, crispy on the outside and juicy inside🥹🫶🏻 I would definitely come again when i’m around, for the vibe and the food :)

Food was delivered incorrectly even though it was clearly communicated in the notes that certain ingredients should not be included. After complaining, they said there was no money back because it was ordered through Uber eats. You could come over and get the food again, but that takes away from the sense of being able to order something from the comfort of your own home and not have to move. All in all just super disappointing...

If you're in Munich and craving an authentic Greek gyro, Greek Souvlaki is the only way to go! 🍽️🇬🇷 With your eyes closed, it's worth a visit as it offers delicious food, fast service and a friendly, courteous staff that makes you feel at home. The portions are generous, the prices reasonable and the quality excellent. The only downside worth mentioning is the wooden cutlery. Besides being impractical, they create an unpleasant creepy feeling. I hope that in the future they will be replaced with regular cutlery, even with an extra charge. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone who loves gyros and souvlaki!

Chicken was quite dry and not spicy enough. The dish was served far too quickly, as if no effort had been made. My buddy already said it wasn't that nice but wanted to try out a new store...I probably should have listened to him. Absolutely overrated! Never go!

Fast, friendly and legga! This is how I can summarize my visit. Tried the Gyros Pita and the Kebap Pita. Both traditionally rolled into pita bread with onions, tomatoes, tzatziki and fries. Everything was very tasty, but without standing out. For just under 7 euros, maybe a bit small compared to a kebab. What I like best are the friendly operators and the positive atmosphere in the store. You can also sit down there and eat.

Great food. The first time I ate souflaki in Germany. We drove a long way for it. But it was worth it. We only know souvlaki from GR or AL. Enjoyed it very much. Price absolutely ok. It's an authentic Greek snack. Gyros and souvlaki good standard. I had a mixed plate of both. Aweng few fries, good amount of tzatziki and tomato-onion on the plate. Negative that only disposable wooden cutlery is used. It definitely detracts from the dining experience. Staff friendly and attentive 👍🏼. You can definitely try it. You can't do anything wrong.

The boss is so warm and customer-friendly - I've rarely seen anything like that these days. He is a great host and takes care of his guests. He has a very good heart.
