Arkadi in München

In einem griechischen Restaurant würde ich zu Grillfleisch eher Vorspeisen oder Salat als Pommes frites erwarten. Ich bestellte einen gemischten Grillteller, dessen Fleisch mir viel zu salzig war. Pommes frites waren auch dabei. Das Ambiente ist angenehm und der Service zufriedenstellend.

Ein tolles griechisches Restaurant. Das Essen war gut und der Service sehr freundlich.

Ein wirklich hervorragendes Restaurant, in dem der Küchenchef uns bestens betreute und uns exzellente Empfehlungen gab. Die riesige Dorade war saftig und wurde von einer Auswahl perfekt gegarten Gemüses und einem Salat mit Vinaigrette begleitet. Auch die Desserts – Tiramisu und Baklava – haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Weißwein war köstlich. Angemessene Preise. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das waren mit die besten Kebabs, die ich je gegessen habe. Geschmacklich und saftig war sie einfach fantastisch. Der griechische Salat war superfrisch und lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich wollte nur einen Kaffee trinken und der war gut. Eine Klimaanlage wäre besser gewesen.

Super leckeres Essen, frisch zubereitet und extrem freundliche Gastgeber. Hier kann man gut essen und trinken!

Gut zu Fuß vom Hauptbahnhof erreichbar, liegt dieses griechisch geprägte Restaurant mit Mittelmeer-Speisekarte: Speisen von sehr guter Qualität frisch angerichtet und interessanter Nachtisch wie Feigentiramisu machen es einen Besuch wert.

Einige Meter nebem Center City Hotel. Angenehmes Interieur (abgesehen von einigen Kühltruhen am Eingang), sehr freundliche Bedienung und ausgesprochen leckeres Essen. Grillteller mit saftigem Souvlaki, Bauernsalat gut gewürzt mit schmackhafter Feta, etc. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Fleisch war zäh, ich konnte es nicht einmal aufessen. Die Gläser waren außerdem schmutzig. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nicht wieder besuchen.

Sehr freundlicher Service und gutem Essen

Das Schweinefleisch-Souvlaki war praktisch roh. Der Service war sehr langsam und unfreundlich.

Ich bin ein Liebhaber der griechischen Küche. Ich besuche einige der besten griechischen Tavernen in Österreich. Dort wird die Esskultur und das Etikett beim Essen respektiert. Hier haben weder das Souvlaki noch das Tzatziki etwas mit den originalen Gerichten zu tun.

3 Sterne, weil ich nur darum gebeten hatte, dass keine Zwiebeln drin sind, und trotzdem waren welche drin, und zwar ziemlich lieblos zubereitet. Was machen die denn dann noch? Für die zwei Sandwiches, die wir bekommen haben, war es relativ günstig, definitiv nicht teuer, preiswert und sehr lecker. Trotzdem hat es mich geärgert, dass ich gegangen bin und woanders etwas gegessen habe, weil ich nicht satt war. Das Gyros im Pitabrot war winzig, wirklich winzig.

Ich bin zum Teil Grieche und gehe sehr oft griechisch essen, sowohl in Deutschland als auch in Griechenland (Athen, Thessaloniki, Samos, Lefkada etc.). Das war das zweite mal Essen von Arkadi und Beide Male war ich nach dem Essen enttäuscht. Für Premium Preise, erwartet man auch Premium Essen. Das Essen hier war Mittelmäßig und wenn ich das mit dem Preis in Relation setze: ungenügend. Der Souvlaki war ungewürzt und nicht wirklich begeisternd von der Konsistenz. Die Vorspeisenplatte war gering in der Substanz und auch keineswegs anders als man es von einem „Griechen um die Ecke“ kennt (außer natürlich der Preis; hier deutlich teurer. Der Moussaka (18€) war dann die Spitze der Enttäuschung. Ich übertreibe nicht wenn ich sage, dass der Moussaka meiner Meinung nach eine absolute Katastrophe war. Mittelharte Kartoffeln mit ungewürztem Hackfleisch in einer schwimmenden (und wieder ungewürzten) Auberginensuppe. Das war tatsächlich alles andere als Lecker. Einzig allein der Tzatziki war lecker. Kein weiteres Mal Arkadi. Es gibt Griechen in München im selben und teils im günstigerem Preissegment, die dann auch wirklich Ihrem Preis gerecht werden und wo man mit einem guten Gefühl im Magen sich ins Bettchen legen kann. Meine Griechische Seite (und auch die restliche) spricht hiermit keine Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant aus. Ich lebe in München und ich habe ein gutes Verständnis für die Gastro hier (vor Allem die gehobene). Daher nimmt meinen Rat und vermeidet das Moussaka und auch das Huhn- Souvlaki wenn ihr hier Essen gehen wollt.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Kellner waren auch sehr höflich und nett und ab und zu gibt es sogar Livemusik an bestimmten Abenden. Ein unscheinbarer Laden von außen, aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Ein absolut herausragendes Erlebnis im Arkadi – München Das war ehrlich gesagt der beste Service, den ich je erlebt habe. Vom ersten Moment an fühlten wir uns unglaublich willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Wir wurden mit traditionellem griechischem Kaffee und Gebäck überrascht, die uns kostenlos serviert wurden – einfach fantastisch! Und als ob das nicht schon genug wäre, schenkte uns der Inhaber persönlich zum Abschied eine köstliche italienische Pandoro-Torte für die Weihnachtsfeiertage – eine so aufmerksame und stilvolle Geste. Gastfreundschaft auf höchstem Niveau. Das Essen, die Atmosphäre und vor allem die Menschen machen diesen Ort zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Man isst hier nicht einfach nur – man spürt den Unterschied. Ich komme bei meinem nächsten Besuch in München auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Arkadi jedem wärmstens empfehlen – egal ob zum Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen. Sie werden es nicht bereuen. Vielen Dank für dieses wunderschöne Erlebnis!

Das Essen war köstlich, gut bekömmlich und von hervorragender Qualität. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Sollte ich jemals wieder nach München kommen, werde ich dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen. Es gehört zu den besten griechischen Restaurants überhaupt!

Der Besitzer ist ein sehr netter Mensch, das Essen und die Portionen sind großzügig.

The worst place I’ve ever been the water costs 7,50€!!! The behaviour of the staff was horrible and rude with me and my friends. Except from the unreasonably long wait the food we got was very questionable. The beef patty was a mix of whatever was in the kitchen and literally unidentifiable. I found sausage skin in there and last time I checked we use ground beef. And some parsley if we are fancy or know how to cook. The pork souvlaki was unchewable. The taste was weird and oil was oozing out of it. The meat wasn’t fresh and the sides were miserable. At least put some oil and the salad and don’t try to cover the bad quality yogurt of the tzatziki with unreasonable amount of garlic. The chicken souvlaki was at least cooked okay thank the lords. At least except from dissatisfaction I didn’t walk out with salmonella.

We were there yesterday for a birthday party and we were so overwhelmed by the hospitality and the effort the staff put in! The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was so welcoming! Thank you so much, we would love to come back again!

The Greek food is one of my favourites and this restaurant made it very appealing.

It was near my hotel and looked nice from the outside, so I went in, and it was a good choice! Everything was delicious, especially the fried squid! The staff didn't speak English, but they had an English menu and were very friendly. This is the best Greek food I've had in the last few years. I highly recommend it.

Even though I don't speak a single word of the language, the owner bent over and did her best to explain the menu until I found what I wanted. I ordered sparkling water, but she brought me two options: regular water and plain water, and asked which I wanted. I stopped by on a friend's recommendation, and it was just the right fit. The raw vegetable salad, grilled vegetables that came with the fish, and the bread that came with the meal were all delicious. I was so full that I was taking a break, and she even gave me Greek yogurt for free. I really hope you continue to prosper. I'd love to come back tomorrow, but I'm leaving for the country. Even the grandmother seems like family. The restaurant's atmosphere is quiet, warm, and great.

We visited a couple of times while in town. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient.

It seems the waitress was in a bad mood. Before I even took my order, she sighed in front of me, and after I ordered, the plates she brought me were dirty, not even washed. (<= They changed it, but given her previous attitude, I wondered if it was intentional.) I ordered ciabatta and a cappuccino, and the cappuccino was fine. The ciabatta was so hard I couldn't cut it with a knife, so I ended up eating only the filling (ham, cheese, and salad). Even when it was time to pay, she turned around and stared at me for ten minutes, wondering if I'd get some leftover bread, but she didn't pay any attention. At best, I went to the counter to pay. The interior and location were nice, but it's not a place I'd particularly recommend.

Fantastic place, near our hotel (and Munich Central Train station). Wonderful service, delicious food, and a menu that is fully annotated for food allergies, sensitivities, and preferences. The only problem is that we're only here for two nights. So we can only eat here again for one more dinner.

We actually just wanted to escape the rain for a bit, but then we ended up at the Arkadi – and what a stroke of luck! The team was super friendly, the decor was really cozy, and the food was simply delicious. We weren't expecting anything like this at all; we'd love to come back! :)

It was good, no doubt about it. But it was simply outrageously overpriced. For a comparable meal, I pay at most two-thirds of the price at my regular Greek restaurant in Mühldorf. I won't subject myself to that again. Especially since the area is anything but beautiful.

We happened to pass the restaurant and spontaneously decided to eat there. We had a grill plate for 2 people. The meat was tasty and the portion was generous. Fries ok. No comparison to the patátes in Greece.

Roundabout perfect. Exceptionally tasty and authentic, the Pulpo was grilled to perfection and the wine was very good, albeit a bit too cold for my liking. The prices are very fair. This is a true gem in a world where food and wine got so expensive. The interieur is very clean, harmonious and with lovely eyecatching details. The owners are beyond polite, on time, friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I don't live in Munich, so my next visit will have to wait. Otherwise I'd be a returning customer for sure! Thank you

Authentic greek cuisine. It's the real deal.

The food, service and live music are just like being on holiday. Absolute insider tip, better than most well-known Greeks and absolutely authentic.

The feta is exceptionally good.

Best place to start a greek love. Great gavros dish. Try the hallomy chees. And you must drink the Ouso. They are the best here.

The food is very good, souflaki (pork) is very juicy and tender. Tzatziki tastes comparatively very good. The starters were also delicious such as: Feta with sesame and eggplant zucchini slices grilled with tzatziki. Imilikos white and Augustiner also fit. Very nice, courteous service. Everyone is friendly. Modern interior with music and projector wall. An ouzo might have been offered, but otherwise everything was great. Thank you very much.

Really great Greek food, fresh and lovingly served, tasty, perfectly seasoned, good portions, it was excellent! We were surprised with the starters and were thrilled. Nice selection of different house delicacies. Our main courses were a dream! We didn't have to wait or look for drinks; we were looked after perfectly and attentively. And since it was Valentine's Day, we even got a house dessert, which rounded everything off perfectly! A candle on the table, a fireplace on the big screen, a cozy place and all in all a special Valentine's Day in Munich! It was just perfect, authentic, warm and very friendly!

Simple, “bourgeois” Greek restaurant, a manageable menu, but also manageable prices. Very friendly and prompt service and prepared with ambition and love. The whole crew is clearly trying very hard.

Friendly welcome, very good food, value for money completely okay. Staff very nice and attentive. At the end there was not the usual ouzo but an excellent pastry and fruit. Normally there would be no point in service. Reason: When paying with a card, the waitress (male), not the boss, probably accidentally grabbed my cell phone along with the card reader. Only after a call were we able to locate the cell phone in a corner behind the counter. The older man was very surprised at this. I don't want to assume any malice at all, but since I see the good in people, I assume carelessness and not intent.

Everything is really perfect here! And you can get half a liter on tap for under 5 euros!

Grilled plate for two was ok, nothing special. We asked for plates and were refused. We also ordered mousaka and that was ok. It is more expensive than other similar restaurants (€49.50 a grill plate for two) but with less quality. We won't go back.

I LOVED this restaurant! The local was very aesthetic and cozy, and the food was delicious, the price was very fair as the portions were so generous! Moussaka and pork/chicken skewers are a must to try!

We were a bit hungover and came here after a good walk from the city. The place is very clean and simple, good feeling inside. The most important, the food was superb, better than I had in a lot of places in Greece, great tzaziki and polite service.

Everything was great, the staff were super friendly and even gave us a handmade apple pie and chocolate as it was Christmas time!

We ate on New Year's Eve at this place. Very good and tender meat, at the end they offered us a very good alcohol. The owner was very kind, even if there was a bit of a language barrier there were no problems

I don't usually write many reviews. But this occasion deserves it. We have been in Munich these days and we have visited this place three times at dinner time. Fantastic value for money. Very good products and dishes. And great staff treatment. We read that they had been around for many years and already had good reviews. We were next to the hotel and we recommend it, without a doubt, for those of you staying in the central station area.

Honestly better than most tavernas in the centre of Athens. Fresh high quality ingredients in the Choriatiki salad and tender chicken souvlaki. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Oti kalitero!

Arkadi reminds me of a friendly neighborhood restaurant. We were greeted before we could get in the door. The service was really good - even with the language issues we sometimes have to overcome. The food was wonderful! We had the classic grill with a side of grilled vegetables. Everything was perfect! I'll be back and will try to post a picture.

We have now ordered here twice via Uber Eats and it was simply fabulous! Both the meat (chicken souvlaki) as well as the pita and the tzatziki were simply outstanding! No other Greek delivery service has ever had the ability to have all three things really good at the same time! ❤️ Hats off! In addition, special requests were implemented without any problems. It doesn't get any better! Conclusion: Highly recommended!
