I've been coming here to eat every now and then for 2 years. The food always tastes great and always comes to the table quickly. The service is always great and super friendly. The prices are very good and justified.

After 30 years, I return to Munich and stumble upon this splendid Italian place. Outdoor tables. Courtesy service and the ultimate surprise. . .two waitresses with Salento accents. I discover CV and one is Leccese and the other is Trepuzzi. This sweet discovery almost thrilled me. As a good connoisseur of the trade, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants... both the excellent ingredients of superior quality and the kindness and marked professionalism of the entire staff. We were there at the beginning of September 2024. The pizza was huge and fresh, crispy crust, thin and lots of cheese. There was extra chilli oil and garlic oil in the glass, the drinks were ice cold, the young waitress was very nice and warm. After first wandering around in the crowded old town, where everything was full and small pizzas cost over €20, we found what we were looking for thanks to the Google top reviews. Giant 4-cheese pizza with rocket €14.99. The neighbor's pasta plate looked great too! Thanks to the City Lounge team!

I had a non-alcoholic cocktail and a salad. If I could rate the cocktail separately, it would get 4 stars. He was actually quite good. Otherwise... where do I start... As soon as we sat down, we heard an argument between two guests and the waiter. The two ladies had (from what we heard) waited a long time and then got the cards themselves, which the cellar was probably very annoyed about and then argued with them. We found that very uncomfortable. We then immediately received our tickets, but they are in a strange condition. Pages are torn out and are lying loose. There are numbers next to the dishes (usually allergen information), but you can usually find a list somewhere of what the numbers mean. Instead, on one of the last pages there is a list of allergens with letters. Now, which number represents which letter? I looked through the map several times and couldn't find an explanation/listing for the numbers anywhere. Some dishes had both numbers and letters. I then asked the waiter about the dressing on a salad, because there were numbers behind it too. The waiter couldn't (or didn't want to) help me and was very annoyed that I asked. I then ordered salad without dressing. There was a lot of canned corn on the salad. And the liquid from the canned corn was everywhere in the salad and was very dominant in taste. Unfortunately I didn't like the salad. The shop is also much too dark inside. But you can also sit outside (if there is space). So in conclusion: The mood is too aggressive. The service is unfriendly and unhelpful. The map is opaque.

Ate here last night. Good food for a reasonable price, especially in Munich. It is an Italian restaurant but looks more like a sports bar. Which turned out well because we could now follow the Olympic games. You will receive a bread basket with delicious garlic oil in advance. We had the schnitzel bolognese. It was very tasty and a good sized portion! The ice cream was also very tasty. 2 euros per scoop.

Best place for spaghetti lovers! I am a regular customer at this restaurant and every time I order their spaghetti I am amazed. The pasta is always cooked al dente, the sauce is aromatic and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly and attentive. An absolute must for all pasta fans!

The restaurant is clean and welcoming overall, the waitress is smiling and asks us if everything is going well during lunch (that's really great of her 👍). We chose the Regina pizza and the Diavola pizza, they are large, which allowed us to take the rest of the pizzas for our evening meal. Good value for money. Only downside: the price of the 75 cl bottle of water at €7.90 🫤

I was there today and the food tasted very good

Food is cold, soggy and inedible. The staff makes you wait a long time, is very unfriendly and then boldly asks for more tips.

We waited a very long time until an order was even taken. The starter didn't arrive on time and the main course was served instead. After our complaint, the pizza was taken back and the starter was brought after a long wait. When the main courses were brought, the pizza I had previously given back was warmed up and brought back to me. After another complaint, I had to be made a new pizza. So my wife had to eat her pasta alone. After 20 minutes my pizza finally arrived. The quality was very good. Although there were many in service, they were all overwhelmed. This was also noticeable when we wanted to pay. We had to wait a long time for that and in the end my wife had to go into the restaurant to pay, otherwise we would have had to wait another hour. Unfortunately there was nothing to compensate for such disastrous service. And the prices are exorbitantly high!!! That's why we won't come here anymore.

The restaurant is very good but today we were there and there was a new waiter who was tall, dark skinned and with a beard and he didn't want to serve us, we waited for 15 minutes and in the end the room was empty so we left without ordering , shame about the waiter.

Seafood pizza with the cheapest fish. Some of the seafood was pickled, which was inedible... Of course, pickled fish lasts longer, but it tastes terrible on a pizza. There was also imitation surimi on it which I've never seen at an Italian restaurant. I'm definitely not coming again

Food was okay, overall the pizza was a bit too burnt, but still within reason. In terms of taste, it can be classified as average for Munich. What struck us negatively were the waiters who made you wait for a long time even though there wasn't much going on and in the end the incorrect bill was over twice the actual bill amount. Friendliness was definitely not on the agenda for a particular waiter.

We've been going to the City Lounge for years and even though it's no longer within walking distance of work, I still enjoy going. Of course it's not a high-end restaurant, but the price-performance ratio has always been and still is. Schnitzel Thursday is the favorite but pizza or pasta day as well as the daily menu are also recommended. Bon appetit

A Caesar salad.....surely Caesar vomits into his grave (dead) Sorry but if you post Italian cuisine do it well....ok???? A carbonara ...... oh my .....,,,😔😔😔😔😔 oh well .....not anymore...... I asked the manager for explanations and he told me. This is how we make the Caesar Salad... well please give it another name because it is absolutely not Caesar. It's as if I go to eat typical Bavarian Schweinebraten and they present me Blutwurst mit Püree un grünkohl. Und dazu muss ich auch das Essen bezahlen. To conclude...they will never see me in this restaurant again.....

Giant shrimp? Those were 3 pieces of mini shrimp! 18 euros or 19 euros is completely exorbitant for that! The waiter with a white shirt is completely arrogant and only concentrates on women when there are men there as a couple! Never this company again!

On a school trip we don't have to wait long, I'm aware of this, but arriving and waiting 20 minutes to sit in the seats YOU HAD RESERVED and then being served overcooked pasta heated in the microwave with a tomato sauce from the can, then an old cutlet fried in oil exhausted, making it heavy and greasy, frozen chips, dry and heavy and then a semi melted "ice cream" with the taste of milk with sugar, I find all this not worth opening Addition: they tried to charge me an extra euro for the beer, the waiter wanted me to pay €4 for it, I went to the counter and paid €3 for it

School trip, worst restaurant I've ever been to. They bring dishes with such a long delay that they brought me and another friend the first one when the others started eating the second one. Overcooked pasta not to mention the sauce which is worse than that found in frozen sofficini. Meat cooked so hard that it was harder than a stone and the beer that should be a widely drunk drink there was given so diluted that it was more transparent than water itself. Not to mention the ice creams that were completely melted. A restaurant whose only Italian thing is the language that one of the many waiters speaks, and even badly. A piece of advice from a friend DO NOT GO THERE.

It was the best occasional decision to go to this restaurant. First of all, it’s in the centre of the town. The food was unbelievably tasty, big portions. Recommend you pasta carbonara😋 my Cocktail was also very delicious, one of the best Sex on the Beach I’ve ever had. The service was really friendly and attentive to us. We were sitting outside, so it wasn’t very comfortable, because the people are walking all the time, but it’s just a tiny disadvantage in comparison with all the advantages.

Lost our bag with the passports inside. They found it and kept it safe 'til we came to take them. Very reliable and friendly.

Never again! Unfortunately a restaurant with absolutely poor service. Not only that, the menu from the daily menu took over 1 hour, but also the rude, brazen manner of the employees. The restaurant wouldn't have been so bad if it had been very busy. The waiter barely spoke English again. It becomes difficult to ask for spicy or garlic. You should at least understand simple ingredients in German. The restaurant is absolutely unsuitable for simply going out for something to eat during your lunch break or in between! There's no point in making the pizza larger than Dimensional if it doesn't taste good. My conclusion: never again

I eat here at least once a year as my good friend almost always celebrates her birthday here (it's her favorite restaurant!) We both usually get some seafood dish. The food is good and well priced, would recommend to others.

If you ever feel nostalgic for a bland and forgettable meal, the fake Italian restaurant is the right place for you. The only authentic flavor you will find here is that of disappointment. The overcooked pasta, more similar to a shapeless porridge than to a genuine Italian dish, is the main point of reference of this culinary experience. Burnt frankfurter adds a touch of charcoal roast if the roast was left on the stove for hours longer than necessary. Potatoes, with a taste so indecipherable that not even Sherlock Holmes could identify it, are a mixture of mystery and disappointment. Overall, this place offers a dining experience that might make customers wish they had simply dined at home. Avoid like the plague, unless you're looking for a lesson in how not to make Italian cuisine. The only positive thing is that they made us wait outside for more or less 1 hour to let us understand where to go to eat afterwards, I recommend the burger king just a few meters away

I had an existential crysis while being here:I couldn't tell if I was a homeless person or a student. The lights kept turning on and of as it was a horror movie.As I was on a school trip, I thought I'd have to order for my own, but I was wrong: we received some sort of "soup" in the beginning plus we got some undefined pork meat , and of course I didn't eat anything. The water probably comes from the toilet. Don't go here, it's a huge scam and I actually feel bad for the workers.

So today I was there again for a long time. I have to honestly say that the juice shop was full, the shop was half empty but I still waited 20 minutes for service, tiramisu was a children's portion compared to before and it just doesn't taste good anymore and it's overpriced. I won't go there anymore . The atmosphere used to be a thousand times better

School trip As if it were a canteen, in twenty minutes they bring you pasta/soup, second course (always chips and cutlet/würstel) and ice cream. In short, everything remains on your stomach and the food is unfortunately not good. Friendly waiters but there's no rush to bring the dishes.

Overall I enjoyed the experience. Food was great and WAITING STAFF were lovely. However, the managers who were working were extremely rude. They handed one of my friends the wrong pizza and gave out to her for taking it (it was a mix up on our table so it didn’t affect anyone else). They also made fun of us calling us stupid Americans (we are Irish, and they were unaware that I also speak German so could understand them). My friend asked for a box to bring her pizza with her and they never brought it. Again, the waiters were lovely (the staff in the black T-shirts) but the managers on the blue shirts were awful

They let us sit in the incredible place 20 minutes late, the exquisite waiters who are not very professional, behave in a rather questionable way to the requests and try in every way to satisfy our hunger by bringing courses in a row, to find ourselves with the fresh ice cream directly on top of the cutlet. With the intention of refreshing ourselves with pure spring water we find ourselves with bottles filled with water directly offered by the mayor. The young chef, according to the very Italian waiter, probably missed his first hotel lessons on cooking pasta. For the waiter himself, we recommend a good pair of glasses to avoid, in which case it should happen, burning the various dishes and to better read the expiry dates of the products and especially of the sauces. For the rest, excellent original location with personalized glasses and cutlery for customers and a toilet service, so incredible that it requires a duty to be seen.

Overcooked meat, miserable portions and rude staff... not to mention the INSANE prices (8 euros for a 750ml bottle of natural water or 12 euros for a margherita into which they had probably spilled a whole jar of salt or even worse 15 euros for a very simple pasta with minimal portion) I ate in this restaurant for 3 evenings (unfortunately forced by the organization of the study trip) and each evening they managed to do worse than the one before.

We were supposed to have a tomato pasta, we had a soup. We were supposed to have schnitzel with potatoes, we had meat that was not well defined, cold and rubbery, with broccoli and cold potatoes. We were supposed to have ice cream, and we had the worst tiramisu I have ever eaten.

Food very good. Service at lunchtime was a bit stressful as there were only two people. Even if many larger tables are free, two people are only allowed to sit at a small table. I thought that was a shame (and very tight). You would also like to have space to enjoy the really delicious food.

Sind hierher gekommen weil alle anderen Restaurants restlos überfüllt gewesen sind. Beste Entscheidung überhaupt denn der Service war wirklich gut und auch das Essen unglaublich lecker. Mit knapp 15€ pro Person für das Essen auch im Rahmen denn es war nicht nur wirklich unglaublich lecker sondern auch mächtig. Wenn man allerdings Pizza und Pasta bestellt, dann ist die Pizza grundsätzlich eher fertig und man wartet dann bis man gemeinsam Essen kann. Aber das war zu verschmerzen weil es wirklich viel zu lecker war.

2x cola für 15.50? Und dann als Gast noch die Toilette bezahlen? Nein danke

We stopped in here on Christmas Eve as it was one of the only places that was open. It turned out to be an incredible dining experience. Despite the crowd and the wait staff having to work on a holiday. They were great, and the food was amazing.

Ich war in der City Lounge zum Mittagessen und es hat geschmeckt Das Restaurant liegt in der Nähe des Stachus, trotz der Lage war es kein Problem im Restaurant einen Platz zu bekommen. Das Restaurant ist leider ein Bisschen dunkel gehalten, da es im Grundriss einem Schlauch nachempfunden ist, ideal für eine Bar bzw Sportsbar. Auf der Tageskarte gibt es eine Auswahl an Menüs. Das Personal war korrekt.

Das Essen ist gut. Die Portionen sind ordentlich groß. Allerdings ist der Laden groß und wenn es voll ist, kann man sich kaum unterhalten.

Lezzeti de porsiyonu da harikaydı. 34cm olan pizza çok aç değilseniz 2 kişiye de yetecek düzeyde. Bu İtalyan restoranına diğer yemekleri de denemek için geleceğiz. Ortamı da çok güzel, loş ışıklı, kalabalık ama nezih bir mekan. Çalışanlar ilgili ve hızlılar. Fiyatlar lezzete ve porsiyona göre makul denebilir. Menüsünde birçok çeşit mevcut, makarna, salata, pizza vs.. Alkollü birçok içecek varken alkolsüz içecek seçenekleri fazla denemez. Pizzanın yanında getirdikleri sarımsak sosu, acılı zeytinyağı ve parmesan peyniri de eklenince harika oluyor, muhakkak denemelisiniz..

Location ist genau am Stachus, daher auch sehr einfach zu erreichen & sehr zentral gelegen. Wenn man gerade was italienisches essen will, macht man hier nicht viel falsch. Der Service ist sehr gut, immer ein Kellner anwesend der einen bedienen kann.
