Disgusting food and a rude manager, don't go there!

We were in Munich for a weekend and while shopping we found the City Lounge with this incredibly good pizza day offer. The waitresses and waitresses were so lovely and very attentive.

We ordered a hot buffet which was delicious, communication regarding the order was straightforward, the buffet was perfectly coordinated, and the delivery was on time – everything was top-notch! We'd gladly order again! Bärenhöhle, Obertiefenbach

We called them and informed them that we have voucher from the book that they are aware of it and registered for it. They accepted us with voucher on phone but when we were there the waitress behaved us very impolite and did not accept vouchers and ask us to order without voucher. Food was ok but staff were not efficient and unfriendly. Drinks did not have also reasonably priced.

There are a few too many choices on the menu for the food to be good... The pasta with cream sauce had little flavor and too much cream. The pizza was okay. The lasagna tasted like it came from a can. The waiter was very welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere is a bit rough around the edges but pleasant. With better food, this restaurant would be really great!

We were very satisfied; the food was delicious, the wait wasn't too long, and the service was attentive. One thing that could perhaps be changed or improved is that the light in the women's restroom doesn't switch off so quickly.

Not recommended. The food was barely palatable; I had to pile a ton of Parmesan on my pasta to make it edible. The steak was inedible. For around €20 per person, you can find a much better establishment.

We went to this restaurant specifically because it was advertised as open until 3 a.m. However, the employee at the entrance wouldn't let us in at 1:20 a.m., telling us they were closing, even though people were eating inside. Correct the closing time on Google Maps and don't mislead people!

I wasn’t feeling well and stayed at the hotel while my husband went to pick up dinner from this restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful , they made it easy for him to choose take-away options when our fussy hungry toddler was making her appearance and even seemed to add a little extra to the portions. Everything was delicious and freshly made and their kindness really stood out. Highly recommend both for the food and the wonderful service!

Bad food. We had nachos- with the cheese burnt and unflavourful! Then came pizza- with scanty and hastily put sauce and cheese and a smattering of vegetables. The waitress disappeared mid meal and after a long wait when we got up to pay, we were told to wait for her. And at payment time, they said that do not accept credit cards.We have to pay in cash.

Our order was clear, and the total was inexcusable: · Lasaña: €16.90 · Grilled Salmon: €22.90 · One Beer: €5.60 · One Special: €4.50 Correct total: €49.90 The waiter never showed us a receipt. He simply walked up to us and quoted the amount of €59. It was a deliberate overcharge, knowing he was inflating the bill. This is truly disgusting. And frankly, I feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for a waiter who has to resort to stealing €10 from customers, which is a sign of a desperate personal situation or a complete lack of ethics. But it's also a shame that the owner allows these practices in his business, damaging his reputation and cheating those who trust him. We came because of the location, but we will never return. It's not about the 10 euros, it's about the unfair practice, the fraud, the poor service, the stealing, and the act itself!! I don't recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to be cheated. A restaurant that operates like this doesn't deserve a single customer.

Absolutely wonderful pasta dishes at reasonable prices.

A friend ordered a pizza, we were a group, we wanted to order a cocktail, but the waiter didn't let us choose and kicked us out 👍 Probably there was no desire to wait until we decided on the order 😰

The service is terrible, we ordered a pizza and waited for more than 30 minutes, the administrators just smile and ask for another 5 minutes and so on every time. There are not many visitors, about 10 people for the whole restaurant, including our company of 3 people. I do not recommend it!

Large piece of glass in my food!! I'm still stunned! I'd give it less than one star if I could! The waiter offered a brief, somewhat helplessly mumbled apology. The dish with the shard was on the house, and the rest was charged at the normal rate. Never again!!

During our 4-day stay, we ate at this restaurant four times because we loved it. As an Italian, I can say: the pizza is better than many places in Italy, and the pasta is cooked perfectly. Everyone is very friendly.

The food is good value for money. It's really hard to get to Gilga. Hey, I'm a nerd, but I'm an old man. I don't know if I should call him, but he's a jerk. No matter how much I try to greet him, he just ignores me. I'll have a small talk with him and hang out with him. Winjong's final feeling is strong. Forced to press 5, 10, or 20% when paying. Han Gook-win is a jerk.

We always love eating here. We were there again on Saturday and received very friendly service from Denisa. The rest of the staff is also always attentive and friendly. You never have to wait long for the food, and the quality is really top-notch for the price. All in all, a fantastic restaurant that we can absolutely recommend!

Very poor service. We were chewing ice cream. There were five of us, and we just wanted to buy ice cream and move on. My cousin, his wife, and children were waiting outside at the table until I finished paying, but a member of staff disagreed with André. She spoke to him politely and said that only the people who had ordered food were sitting outside. Because she didn't want to clean the table after us, even though it was only for a short time, which I find so rude. I wouldn't recommend anyone.

Highly recommended Respect to everyone who works there. On August 20, 2025, at 7:36 PM, I went there and ordered two pizzas to take away. They were ready in about 10 minutes, even though the restaurant was very busy. I was greeted very warmly and politely by the staff. The pizza I ordered was delicious, except for the crust, which hardened too quickly and was difficult to chew (I'm no pizza expert).

The food was good and everything, but the service was an absolute disaster. The staff will remember exactly who I am. When you serve bread before the meal, one expects plates on the table—not to wait to get them. On top of that, trying to act like the guests are at fault is completely unacceptable. Very poor treatment. 1/10

I liked my pizza but the service is pretty bad and they rarely check on you. I asked for a sprite and 10 minutes later I had to track down waitress. Then you have to get them again if you want the check. Not sure if it’s my waitress or how the restaurant is run. No AC inside. Came Aug 15, around 20:00.

We had a great experience at City Lounge! The food was delicious and the portions were generous—definitely good value. There was plenty of seating, and we were able to get a table right away, which was a nice bonus. It was a hot day, so it was quite warm inside, but the service and food made up for it. Would definitely come back!

Everything was very, very delicious. We had the truffle ravioli, spaghetti carbonara, and penne with cream sauce. The service was friendly and welcoming. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. The daily lunch specials are very good! The atmosphere was pleasant. I'll definitely come back!

We spent the last day in Europe there. Was there from noon to about midnight to watch the Champions League Final. It was a great experience, the staffs was very friendly and accommodating to us. Food was good as well!

Do not go here if you value time or service. Food is okay but the garlic olive oil is awesome. I went back to ask if I can get a small amount of the garlic oil and the server acted like it was a trade secret and seemed offended. I would have paid for it. Don't waste your money here.

We received a very friendly welcome from Carlos and were shown to our table. After ordering our drinks and food, they were quickly prepared and served by Carlos with a smile. The pizzas and bruschetta were delicious. As a digestif, we were treated to a limoncello, which Carlos invited us to share. We would definitely be happy to come back.

I recently ate at this restaurant and, for the life of me, I can't understand all the positive reviews. The prices are extremely exorbitant, and that for food that impresses neither in terms of taste nor quality. I ordered a tuna pizza. The crust was so large that it's not normal. It felt like more crust than pizza, and there was no topping at all. They were really stingy! It had tuna, and the little tuna that was on it didn't even taste fresh. Everything seemed very carelessly prepared. The most expensive pizza. I don't remember exactly what kind it was, but €18.50 or so is a joke. The drinks were also a disappointment. Instead of a refreshing spritzer, I got an overly sugary mix that tasted more like syrup than fruit, and they charged a hefty price for that, too. (I could also put a few peppermint leaves in it to make it look better, but if it tastes like crap, it's no good.) Regarding the service, though: Some of the employees were helpful and friendly, I have to say that. But the manager himself (a taller, dark-haired, somewhat heavier man) was extremely rude and insolent. No hello, no smile, no "please" or "thank you," just an irritated tone. As a guest, you feel anything but welcome. The music in the store was much too loud. A normal conversation was impossible. Poor quality, unfriendly tone, too loud, and completely overpriced. I will never come back and unfortunately cannot recommend the store at all.

What a great find this Italian restaurant in Munich! As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile and an inviting smell of Mediterranean cuisine. The place is intimate but elegant, with details that recall the real Italy, that of Sundays with the family. We started with tagliatelle bolognese, and then schnitzel with chips. All accompanied by a glass of Tuscan red wine recommended by the waiter, which was truly spot on. To finish, a classic tiramisu that seemed to have been made by grandmother. Fast service, friendly and attentive staff without being intrusive. Honest prices for the quality offered. A corner of Italy in Monaco that is absolutely worth trying!

Came to Munich for a school trip. I had already realized that Italian food abroad is not instantaneous, but this really makes you cry. Let's start with the pasta: served cold and almost as hard as a stone. Let's move on to the second: a cutlet cooked in used engine oil, made literally 2 hours before and reheated on the spot. Also brought burnt and dripping with oil. Inedible and disgusting. The only saving grace are the fries which are decent. Let's analyze the dessert, which is usually difficult to do badly. Served a sandy, nauseating ice cream, impossible to eat. But that's not all: dirty place and incompetent staff: spaghetti spilled on a friend of mine, chips scattered on the table. Smelly smell of burnt garlic and very hot room, with no air conditioning. Finally, when booking we were told that there were dishes for celiacs, but when ordering it is not even possible to eat pasta and forced to eat salad and chips. Impossible to have clean glasses and water not on tap. In short, one of the worst places I've ever eaten in. I strongly advise against it to anyone who only has the remote intention of wanting to go.

Terrible food, rude staff, high prices

I strongly advise against this place. I went with my family and two kids. I ordered two pizzas and another dish. Since the waitress understood that we were going to share a pizza, she offered to bring it already divided. And here’s the trick: they brought the pizza with several pieces missing — less than three-quarters of a pizza split onto two plates. They thought they could be clever! Dishonest and rude! They even laughed after we pointed it out! Avoid this place and go to more honest restaurants — there are plenty in Munich!

This cosy pizzeria offered not only excellent pizza, made with fresh ingredients and a perfectly crisp base, but also a truly memorable welcome from José Carlos, a warm-hearted Portuguese host whose kindness and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire evening; his friendly attitude and personal touch transformed a simple meal into a moment of connection, making us feel less like customers and more like old friends.

terrible. in every sense. the pasta was overcooked and there was no parmesan cheese. the meat was terrible, it was served cold, only the potatoes were good. at a certain point during dinner they even took away our water, even though we had a FULL bottle. and they even kicked us out. if you are Italian, don't come to this place, terrible.
