Perfekter Service, die Pizzen und Pasta waren absolute Oberliga, Ambiente passt und man kann hier definitiv einen schönen Abend haben zum fairen Preis. Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung!

Leckere Trüffelpasta...die Pizza war top...schön schmackhafte Trüffelsalami (Truffaldino)...freundlicher und schneller Service... gerne wieder...

Essen war super. Mir wurde nur ein normales Bier als Alkoholfrei gebracht. Habe es ja relativ schnell bemerkt, das darf aber meiner Meinung nach unter keinen Umständen passieren! Kellner war auch nicht wirklich interessiert daran, bin dann direkt zur Bar gegangen.

Gutes Mittagsmenü (inkl. Suppe). Allerdings stand nicht dabei, was es für eine Suppe ist. Bedienung war freundlich. Die Spaghetti J. Dean waren gut, allerdings hätte ein bisschen mehr Spargel drin sein können. Würde aber wieder kommen - alles in allem war es ein gutes Mittagessen ☺️

Nettes Ambiente, schmackhafte Speisen. Leider wurde eine Bestellung nicht gewissenhaft ausgeführt und es wurde die falsche Pizza serviert. Auch wenn die nicht schlecht war, ist das weniger erfreulich.

Sehr gute Pizzeria in der Borstei. Alle Gerichte Top. Der Chef ist immer da und kümmert sich um alles. Wir kommen gerne. Vor allem die Pizzen sind der Hammer und die selbstgemachten Pasta. Nachtrag : Heute am Ostersonntag 3 Pizzen bestellt. Qualität leider nicht wie gewohnt. Pizzen ohne Geschmack und dünn.

Ein absolutes Highlight in München! Wir waren am Nachmittag in der Osteria da Massimo und waren restlos begeistert. Schon der Empfang war unglaublich herzlich. Sowohl die Vorspeise als auch der Hauptgang waren eine glatte 10/10 – man schmeckt die Qualität in jedem Bissen! Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Service: Unser Kellner war extrem aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Ein rundum gelungener Besuch. Wenn ich das nächste Mal in München bin, ist ein Tisch hier bereits fest eingeplant. Absolute Empfehlung!

Die besten Nudeln Münchens!!! Vorallem die Fregola Sarda, mit Abstand die geilsten Nudeln in der Isarmetropole. Die Birne Gorgonzola Mascarpone Pizza ist auch geschmacklich kaum zu übertreffen. Preis-Leistung ist mehr als Top, den die selbstgemachten Strozzaprete Nudeln mit ordentlich Trüffel im Parmesanleib geschwenkt, schmecken umamigöttlich und für unter 20€ in München kaum zu überbieten, da die Portion auch noch richtig mächtig ist. Ich hab in München schon einige Nudelgericht mit Trüffel gesehen, wo der Trüffel zwar grade im Urlaub und FDH wohl Programm war. Leute geht ins da Massimo, der ist echt sehr gut, da macht man nichts verkehrt!!!

Wir waren überrascht. Positiv überrascht. Wir haben Restaurant im Internet gefunden und es hat sich echt gelohnt, hierher zu fahren. Danke für gutes Essen.

Es war viel los und wir hatten sehr lange gewartet. Dann kam die Pirra die nicht mal durchgebacken war. Sehr schade!

Leider war unser Besuch sehr enttäuschend. Der Service war unterirdisch – wir wurden ganze 30 Minuten lang überhaupt nicht beachtet. Die Lautstärke im Lokal erinnerte eher an eine Bahnhofshalle als an ein Restaurant, was einen entspannten Aufenthalt unmöglich machte. Das Essen kam deutlich schneller als die Getränke, was den Gesamteindruck zusätzlich trübte. Besonders kritisch war jedoch der Umgang mit Lebensmitteln: Ein Trüffel lag offen im Speisesaal und wurde mehrfach von einem Mitarbeiter ohne Handschuhe angefasst. Das wirft ernsthafte Fragen zur Hygiene auf. Insgesamt ein sehr negativer Eindruck, der leider keine Empfehlung zulässt.

Ich war mitte 2025 mit einem Arbeitskollegen in diesem Restaurant essen. Damals gab es leider keine Allergenen Hinweise auf der Speisekarte. Ich habe nudeln mit Käse-Sahne Soße bestellt. Als diese ankamen habe ich etwas grünes auf dem Gericht bemerkt und den Kellner darauf Hingewiesen, dass ich hochallergiker auf sämtliche Nüsse bin. Dieser versicherte mir, dass es sich um Basilikum handelt. Nach dem Verzehr wurde ich darauf hingewiesen, dass es sich doch um cashew Nüsse handel. Ich habe den gesamten restlichen Tag mit Magenkrämpfen und mehrfachem Übergeben verbracht. Das Restaurant entschuldigte sich mehrfach und sprach mir beim nächsten besuch ein Gratis essen und Service zu. Nach einigen Wochen traute ich mich schlussendlich wieder in das Restaurant um diese Wiedergutmachung in Anspruch zu nehmen. Inzwischen wurde die Karte überarbeitet und jede Pizza wurde mit der Kennzeichnung Nüsse versehen, sodass ich leider nichts in diesem Bistro nichts konsumieren konnte. Selbst auf den Hinweis, dass der letzte Besuch in einer Vergiftung endete wurde ich abschätzig behandelt und mir wurde so gar zu wenig Rückgeld auf meine kleine Spezi(2.90€) gegeben. Finde es sehr schade, dass ich dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen kann da mit dem leben der Kunden gespielt wurde.

Guter Standard Italiener mit interessanter Tageskarte. Pizza richtig gut und mit großer Auswahl. Nudelgerichte meiner Meinung nach eher durchschnittlich aber auf dem Punkt gekocht. Eine hervorragende Kalbsleber venezianischer Art!

Eine der besten Pizzen in München

Wir waren eine Gruppe von vierzehn Personen. Wir hatten reserviert und das Restaurant konnte uns problemlos empfangen. Es gab eine große Auswahl an italienischen Gerichten. Jeder fand etwas nach seinem Geschmack. Auch mit unseren Ernährungseinschränkungen gab es keine Probleme. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe eine Pizza genossen.

Sehr angenehm hier. Super Service, leckeres Essen, sehr guter Doppio. Zwei Stunden Urlaub in Italien. Macht weiter so!

Egal ob Pizza oder Pasta, es schmeckt alles einfach wirklich gut. Der Service ist auch top, vor allem Mate macht seine Arbeit sehr gut. Alles in allem fühlt man sich bei Massimo einfach wohl und bekommt auch noch sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Super Qualität der Speisen und Getränke. Bedienung ist bei der Masse an Gästen sehr bemüht einen ordentlichen Service zu bieten. Die Atmosphäre erinnert eher an ein Hofbräuhaus, sehr hell und laut, so dass man Schwierigkeiten hat sich zu unterhalten. Da ich im Winter hier war kann ich für den Außengarten nicht sprechen.

Das Essen ist gut (auch wenn es manchmal kalt serviert wird); das Personal ist sehr freundlich; der Service ist gut. Die Parkplatzsituation in der Umgebung ist katastrophal… daher empfehlen wir die Nutzung öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel.

Wir waren spontan an einem Freitag Abend da. Die Osteria war rappelvoll. Trotzdem haben sich die Mitarbeiter sehr ins Zeug gelegt, dass wir einen Tisch bekommen haben. Wir haben Pizza bestellt, die richtig gut war. Gerne wieder.

Wir haben fast 1,5 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet - mit Kindern. Nach 1 Stunde haben wir gefragt wie lange es noch dauert, da hieß es, es ist auf dem Weg. Nach 1,5h kam dann zumindest das Essen für die Kinder und die Pizzen - leider haben immer noch 2 Essen gefehlt. Das hat dann nochmal 15 min gedauert. Als wir die Pizza noch mitnehmen wollten, hätten wir dann noch Aufpreis für den Karton zahlen müssen - keine Entschuldigung nichts. ABSOLUT NICHT ZU EMPFHELEN - KATASTROPHALER SERVICE! Nein danke.

Ich habe noch nie im Ausland so gut italienisch gegessen. Meine Carbonara war herzhaft und reichhaltig mit vielen Soßen. Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass man in München in einem italienischen Restaurant so gut essen kann. Köstliche italienische Wurstwaren, ein sehr hilfsbereiter Inhaber – was will man mehr? Sehr faire Preise, absolut empfehlenswert! Tolles Ambiente!

We went to this restaurant as a large group for our annual Christmas party at the beginning of the month. Unfortunately, from ordering our drinks to paying the bill at the end, we felt very unwelcome. The waitress was rude when she was actually around. The value for money was also extremely poor, and several people in our group didn't leave feeling full. The food wasn't to my taste either, and combined with the bad service, it was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in years.

Our favorite Italian restaurant – we're always very satisfied! The food is great and everyone is always very friendly and attentive. We love coming to Massimo's and his team's place.

About two weeks ago, I also attended the Christmas party for over 50 people, which had been arranged with Massimo months in advance. The food was outrageously overpriced for so many people! Each table was occupied by 8 to 14 people and received three half-filled bowls of pasta. I didn't speak to a single person who left hungry. In fact, many left hungry. The meal cost €20 per person, and drinks were extra. Every pasta dish on the menu is offered at a lower price and served in ample portions. The food tasted okay, but nothing special. The vegetarian pasta consisted only of tomato sauce with cream. It didn't even contain any vegetables, which is what I would have expected. And I don't think cream is appropriate in this context. But hey, it wasn't specifically agreed upon as a vegan dish... Our group felt completely ripped off and disappointed. Furthermore, our complaint was met with rudeness. For me, too: Never again Osteria Massimo.

The food was okay, and the ambiance was acceptable by Munich standards. The service was abysmal, hence the no stars. The appetizer was announced, complete with plate and cutlery, but then simply forgotten. About 20 minutes later, the waiter finally noticed. We waited even longer for the main course. The next table was occupied about 30 minutes after we ordered, and the guests had already finished their meal by the time ours finally arrived. So, from ordering to serving the main course, it took a good 1 hour and 20 minutes. The first round of drinks arrived fairly quickly, after about 10 minutes. The second round of drinks was simply forgotten. My conclusion: there are better restaurants in Munich for the winter.

We arrived for lunch with about 80 people, having given advance notice. Since we were informed that they couldn't offer à la carte dining with that many people, we agreed on three pasta dishes (one of which was gnocchi). For each table (seated with 8 to 12 people), three rather modest bowls were provided for self-service. Even at the tables with 8 people, this didn't even result in a full plate per person, so everyone waited for refills (as is customary at such events) – but these never happened. Even after asking, we were told that was all there was to it – but everyone was still hungry (even the lighter members of our group). When we asked the owner about the price, he told us that Munich is just expensive -> sorry, but we paid €20 per person (just for the pasta; no appetizer, no dessert, and NO drinks) and for that amount, you should definitely be able to fill up on pasta in Munich (especially in this location) – and it wasn't even with caviar or anything. Furthermore, he said we were just taking up space in the restaurant… Sorry, but that's completely unacceptable and was pure extortion -> NEVER AGAIN…none of us.

We visited this restaurant during the Christmas season of 2025 for lunch with a large group of 50+ people – we had, of course, made a reservation well in advance. The price-performance ratio was an absolute disgrace – completely unacceptable. Requests for seconds of the ridiculously small portions of pasta with three different sauces were refused. The staff's behavior was anything but friendly and courteous. I will steer clear of this restaurant in the future, even if I'm alone or going far away.

The pizzas are delicious and there's a great selection. The food also arrived very quickly.

The food was fantastic… We had pizza with truffle salami and truffle cream cheese – a dream! I added a little salt and pepper to the truffle pasta (but it's better to add it fresh than too much). Very, very delicious. We arrived relatively late, and the waiter was very friendly.

The food was absolutely delicious! The pizzas are very unique, and the Pasta al Tartufo and Pasta Don Camillo were particularly scrumptious. The wine is also excellent, there's a reasonably priced and varied aperitif menu, and the staff is truly attentive and fun! It was another delightful evening at Massimo's, and we'll definitely be back. A great place for special occasions or those little moments in everyday life. Update: A year later, I visited Massimo's again, and we were once more completely satisfied. The food (two pizzas and one pasta dish) was very tasty and arrived quickly, even though the Osteria was busy. Our waiter, Matteo, was also very friendly. I made the reservation easily via the contact form on the website and received a prompt reply.

We were there for a birthday party. The food was delicious, the wine was good, and the staff was friendly and attentive. We found parking spaces around the corner.

The appetizer was unfortunately only mediocre. Some of the vegetables were overcooked, and the olive oil didn't seem particularly high-quality. As a chef, I pay attention to quality and know that there are differences – I would have preferred a pure, unadulterated olive oil. The pizzas were decent value for money, but the carbonara wasn't the classic version. There was no soap in the men's restroom, and one of the two faucets was broken. The ambiance was rather basic – apart from a few sayings on the wall and a slicer at the bar, there wasn't much to distinguish it. The service was friendly and tried to create a good atmosphere with humor, but there's room for improvement. Overall, the visit was okay, but not impressive. It might be an option for takeout or delivery – but for dinner, I would personally prefer other Italian restaurants.

We were there on Saturday for Night of the Jumps. With my wife and three kids, I was able to get Mateo's full attention. Today we're back in Munich to visit the Deutsches Museum. We stopped in again. What can we say? Outstanding service. Mateo was absolutely fantastic again. Amazing, and another top rating. Get a waiter! My son is also named after him. The staff went out of their way to help and were incredibly friendly. The pizza is second to none. A real hidden gem. My boys are still raving about it. Unfortunately, it's too far from Stuttgart to go every day. Otherwise, we would come. THANK YOU!

The best pizza in Munich, with a light, crispy crust and great toppings. A great, rustic atmosphere. The beer garden on Dachauer Straße is a bit noisy.

What do waiters actually do for a living? Empty plates sit there for 20 minutes, you almost have to force your drink order, and generally you wait forever for the waiters, but they constantly walk past you empty-handed. It's very loud, too. The food was good, but it could have been better.

Excellent evening, excellent food. The suckling pig fillet was wonderfully tender. The potato gratin was crispy yet soft. Everything was spot on. Stefano, the waiter, was very welcoming and recommended a wonderful wine for both of us.

I was there for lunch today. The food was disappointing. The pizza was dry and the dough lacked flavor. The seafood on my pasta was frozen, and everything was poorly presented. Both dishes cost just under €17 each. You'd expect something better. The service also seemed unmotivated. All in all, mediocre, hence the 3 stars.

Today was our third or fourth visit to this restaurant in the last few months, and I have to say it was another delight. For starters, we had salmon and mango tartare with shrimp, followed by gnocchetti with chanterelle mushrooms and strozzapreti made from a cheese wheel with truffle. We highly recommend it.

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait a bit, but that was only because Robbie Williams was playing a concert nearby that evening, and some concertgoers were (unexpectedly) having dinner here. The other times we've visited the restaurant, we didn't have to wait a minute. The food is, as always, absolutely 10/10, both pizza and pasta, and our waiter gave us a truly wonderful evening. My absolute favorite Italian restaurant here in Munich, and you have to try it!
