Papa Tran is for everyone who wants to break up the same old monotony of the neighboring Italian restaurant with a little treat. The dishes are cooked to perfection, very well balanced and inexpensive, while the service impresses with its loving manner, speed and presence. Awful service, haven’t managed to eat there cause they don’t accept cards, and they said it about it 10 min after we wasted on choosing the meal, then we went to atm , came back, it was still 45 min before closing and they said they will make only take away for us.

I came here to enjoy the food here. It's better than any other Asian restaurant.

We ate well, unfortunately the food wasn't very hot. But the taste is perfect. You can't complain about the price here. We'll come back to test whether it depends on the day

We've been coming regularly since the restaurant opened and always find it incredibly delicious. There are now a number of Vietnamese restaurants in Hamburg. But An Khang was one of the first and it is still one of the few where the dishes taste the way I know them from Vietnam.

Cozy little hidden gem in the Neustadt. I liked the Neo Taste Coupon 2:1 Banh Mi. Also really liked the lemongrass flavor options. I had Lemongrass Pork. It was a 9/10. could’ve been a 10/10 if it was authentic Vietnamese baguette (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside). But still super delicious. And friendly service

Ordered for pickup on site. 3 main courses + starter were prepared after 25 minutes, well packaged and ready for collection. Price / performance top and delicious. Gladly again.

Super delicious Vietnamese food with high quality of the food used with a lot of knowledge of the authentic cuisine! The staff is very polite and attentive. The prices are ok too. The interior could be made more comfortable, as it seems a bit cool here, a few plants and cheaper lighting would be great.

Unfortunately I wasn't convinced today. I ordered V6 from the menu. 2 slices of fried chicken breast, with a fist-sized portion of rice, 2 diagonally sliced ​​cucumber slices plus 1 slice of tomato, a small bowl of sauce with about 8 Julien strips of carrot. Then made €10.50. I'm not a glutton, but the dish seemed very frugal to me.

We ordered Pho Bo and Bun Bo Nam Bo. Pho Bo was simply amazing - a flavorful, rich broth, lots of fresh herbs, the noodles and meat were served separately, and the portion was huge! It was nice that the food arrived warm, which is particularly important with a dish like this. However, Bun Bo Nam Bo disappointed us a little - the rice noodles and vegetables were rather tasteless and lacked intensity. Maybe a little more sauce or spices would have made the dish more interesting. But overall a positive experience!

This restaurant was previously sold under the name LILA. Then the restaurant owner recently sold it. The new owner changed the name of the restaurant to "MANGO Vietnamese". After some initial difficulties when taking over this restaurant in terms of organization, ..... business is now going much better than before. I have already visited this restaurant 3 times. The last time was on Monday, December 2nd, 2024. I intentionally ordered a very popular Vietnamese special dish from the southern region of Vietnam ("cơm sườn") to test the taste and the stability of the taste of this dish. The new restaurant passed my personal test with flying colors! 👍👍👍 1. The taste is really excellent and very authentic if you compare it with the original taste in South Vietnam! 2. Even more commendable, the taste of this famous dish in southern Vietnam has hardly changed compared to my second visit almost a month ago! There is almost no change in taste here (suddenly too salty or too bland!) like in some Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants in and around Kaiserslautern! 3. When exchanging opinions with the restaurant owner (he is also the head chef in the kitchen), I noticed that he is very patient in listening to the customers' opinions and constructive criticism (where else can be improved to ensure customer satisfaction? to improve ? Service, food quality, price-performance ratio, .... His willingness to learn is really noticeable 👍👍👍 The only negative here in my opinion is that Restaurant MANGO - just like LILA before - is too narrow and therefore doesn't offer enough seats for guests. The ambience is normal, if not rather "weak"! On the other hand, I have to admit, it is not easy - if not possible at all - to improve or change this "weak point"! 🤔🤔🤔

Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty at all! The sauce was very watery. When we told them this, they were completely unwilling to accept it... This was definitely our last visit!
